Nice gameplay loop! I like the balance of dismantling/reassembling
Really cool game! It was a bit hard to figure out what to do at first, but surprisingly, I got hooked pretty quickly. You can tell a lot of work went into this, and the jam theme is implemented in a really clever way. Great job!
Pretty damn polished and a really cool concept, with more variety you could definitely make this into a full game. Nice work!
I didn't get it. I mean, the wiring process feels nice but I have no idea how to complete an order having only 2 batts, a fan and a resister (is it?).
@aleksey-salion Yeah you right. Tutorial on this game is my weak part. But you should buy more device from money you have and get more parts to complete an order. If you don't have money you can spend five second to get some. I was focused more on systems in the middle or late game, but didn't get start understandable enough. I was thinking about it, but didn't have much time. If it will make to full game, definitely will make tutorial. Thanks for review!
@pazio-di-dante aahhh, I didn't notice buttons on the top at my fist game. Well, with additional details things start moving 😬
Requirements are still confusing tho
Love the idea of a workshop where you take old gadgets apart and rebuild something new, it's a great fit for Old Tech and the voxel workbench looks nice. Unfortunately I got stuck at the very start: clicking and dragging the remote didn't seem to do anything and I couldn't work out the first step. A short guided first order or a hint on what to click would help a lot. There's a cool game in here!
Like the idea but could use a tutorial on wiring order. Well done on the graphics, feels good to play. Well done.
With the power of six(!) dismantling robots, nothing stands in my way anymore!
Very fun game! I love optimizing my little workshop! I scrapped and built parts through all the overheating until I had my perfect power setup (still have to turn robots on and off a little depending on demand, but I'm running at peak efficiency at all times now). Great take on the theme! Taking old tech apart and turning them into puzzles is super fun. I also liked the progression, with the additional modules coming in over time. Great design as well, you can gleam from how they look which type of module each module is, I liked that a lot. Very cool game, very well done!
Great mechanics! It was fun figuring them out.
The UI was a bit confusing at times (it wasn't always clear that I needed one more unit of energy).
Thanks, I really enjoyed playing!
nice entry! A lot of depth inside this game, at first I was confused, but later I played it for a while!
Salvaging items turned out to be pretty fun!
I liked the game! I've always been into electronics and even though it's not on point with how things really work, it was still fun. It did take a few minutes to figure out how to play, so a tutorial or example would be nice. Good job!
Really nice mechanic! It took me way too long to figure out what was going on, but now that I get it, it's quite fun. I'd like to be able to unscrew more than one screw at a time. That would be a nice quality-of-life improvement.
Very nicely done! For a Compo game, getting all this done, with the nice graphics and everything, in 48 hours is amazing. Really nice job!
This is a fun use of the theme! it could explained a bit more but i like the core premise, style and audio. good work!
A tough start, but it's worth pushing through. This could clearly be a prototype for a bigger game!
I really love vibe of this game and graphics are so cool
Taking old gadgets apart and turning their pieces into new circuits is a great use of the theme. I like that the workshop can grow from hands-on repairs into a little robot-run operation! You've gotten so many nice details down -- like the little animations of the wires are so cute! Great job.
This looks like it could grow into a full game!
Waiting you on Steam ♥️
This is a nice game, takes a bit of time to discover the rules but otherwise very cozy and relaxing gameplay
Nice entry! The music creates a calm mood that fits the repair shop pretty well. Managing the parts and fitting them on the board is a nice puzzle, but I did not find the connecting part very challenging: since all the parts have two leads, there is no real way to mess it up.
Wow, "Scrap Treasure" is an absolute masterpiece for a 48-hour Compo game! The gameplay is top-notch — dismantling old TVs and devices on the desk, moving parts to the inventory, and routing wires feels incredibly satisfying and polished. About 70% of the mechanics felt super intuitive and easy to understand just by experimenting with the objects. The synthwave soundtrack is outstanding! It immediately gave me those cozy Stranger Things Season 1 retro vibes, which perfectly matches the late-night workshop atmosphere. Brilliant work! Thank you for creating this. Also, thank you so much for playing and rating my game, and for the valuable feedback about the manual rotation feature — I really appreciate it! Good luck with the jam! 🛠️📟🔋✨
Nice little concept! All it needs is that little bit of polish thats really hard to fit into a jam, but so far its got a great game loop and its really satisfying to pull apart all the pieces. I like the art and the sounds too, although the music gets a bit samey after a while. Would love to be able to actively unscrew the screws or have more teardown elements. Nice job ^^
Like the idea but could use a tutorial on wiring order. Well done on the graphics, feels good to play.
Taking old gadgets apart to build new circuits is a really fun idea, and the visuals are lovely. I enjoyed playing it, though a clearer tutorial would help a lot, it took me a while to figure out what to do
Oh, it's an excellent idea! It took me some time to figure out how to get spare parts. And once I figured it out, I was hooked!
I suck at it - but it was really a nice concept and so well executed. Impressive entry.
A pleasant game. It reminded me of how my dad used to take various things apart at home and fix them.
The simulator-puzzle gameplay is a good idea and you succeed to make it nice to play ! Nice job
Super polished entry! It took me a while to find out just how to unscrew screws, thankfully the UI is responsive to mouse over.
Sick! The puzzle aspect alone is great but then you got the incremental automation layer on top of that. Everything feels super polished as well.
It's a little abstract at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's great.
Everything works perfectly. It's a pleasure to take the parts apart to salvage the components. 👍
I like the concept and the mood, plus interacting with the game feels really satisfying, but it definitely needs a tutorial or clearer instructions. For example here I think I'm checking all the boxes for the stats (they're all green) but the Deliver button remains greyed out. It's maybe because of the connections (I still dont know what the cable colors mean) but nothing clearly tells it. With a proper onboarding this game could be a gem!scrap_treasure.png
@rend
Really nice, I lost track of time on it! Not very clear at first, I started to thought it was quite reptetitive then understood you can automate things.
Fun entry, good graphics, well done!
A cool equipment repair simulator with puzzle elements. A very cool game for the COMPO category. Great!
pixel art always wins!
Game looks nice and I really liked the music! Unfortunately, I was completely lost XD. I understood that I needed to detach things, but had no idea how to attach or connect them properly. So I just ended up recycling all the tech instead XD
Nice relaxing music and pixel art, it kind of put me in mind of a Zachtronics game. Putting together this for the compo is really impressive. Some of the components were a bit mysterious in terms of what they were but that just added to the charm.
Totally amazing game. The simple, fun gameplay that emerges from a mix of tetris and eletronics is really innovative. Nice graphics, awesome music.
Congratulations, top entry here.
