LD59 — Signal

CRASHDAR by Roroto Sic 2026-04-24T20:38:25Z

Very nice! I like this interpretation of the theme, and the radar phases adds a bit of variation to the base mechanic. I feel like this could be a good base to iterate upon, maybe with other obstacles/interactive objects ? Really cool entry, and bonus point for making a GB rom!

Screenshot 2026-04-24 at 22-34-34 CRASHDAR by Roroto_Sic.png

(Un)Authorized by Byte Bark 2026-04-24T20:55:02Z

Interesting concept, kinda reminds me of the wiring mechanic of Gunpoint. I'm not sure how to record the guard's voice on the level with the phone ? Nice entry overall!

Hydroacoustic by FakeTrap 2026-04-24T15:31:11Z

I love how heavy the sub feels. I feel like these controls are perfect for a game where the visibility is limited. The game felt a bit too hard for me: I would have liked it if the enemy attacks were more predictable (maybe they also emit sound pulses ?). Very good entry overall!

Cosmic Relay by ghettobastler 2026-04-21T04:02:40Z

@guardaro Thank you! And yes, we all need more baklava.

@matt-giuca I must admit the main idea didn't set in my mind until very late in development, and I ended up rushing the "several days" thing which is why there's no real win/lose conditions and only one ending. Next time I think I'll try having the different gameplay loops fleshed out before starting development. Thank you for the great feedback and suggestions!

After The Fact by adam-gould 2026-04-24T20:28:01Z

Nice puzzle games! The mechanics were pretty intuitive, although the difficulty seemed a bit uneven. I really like the interpretation of the theme, and I'm definitely going to be singing the song for the rest of the day. Great entry!

Infrequency by Caer 2026-04-24T20:12:09Z

I love the visuals and sound effects! I managed to get through the first couple of levels, but I got stuck on map 4. I couldn't really wrap my head around the mechanics, so I feel like a bit more feedback would help make things clearer. Nice entry!

Pulse by Jed 2026-04-24T15:40:20Z

Very nice! I love the minimalist visuals and effects. The Asteroïd controls feels nice responsive without being unfair, and the spectrum analyzer is a nice touch! Cool entry!

PING by christina-antoinette-neofotistou 2026-04-21T18:46:46Z

Great game! The concept is very original and the result very polished. The art is charming and the music sets a nice playful mood. My main complaint is that it felt a bit hard to aim: I'm more used to having a line that show me trajectory of the ball/bat, but I can see how that wouldn't work with the echolocation mechanic. Thank you for sharing!

Screenshot 2026-04-21 at 20-39-33 PING! - For LD59 by castpixel.png

Signal Breaking by TopperVideoGames 2026-04-21T18:15:06Z

Interesting puzzle. The mechanics are easy to grasp and the game is pretty challenging overall. I really enjoyed the writing. Nice job!

The Message by Matt Giuca 2026-04-21T04:26:28Z

Great concept! It felt a lot like exploring the RF spectrum on an SDR, but with a narrative purpose. Going in this direction, I think it would be interesting to explore this concept, maybe with several signals to identify and decode with different methods (not necessarily real ones) ? Great entry!

Hoist the Flag! by oller125 2026-04-28T18:58:58Z

I really like this take on the theme! The system is pretty solid, and I think it could be the base for some interesting mechanics (maybe have the boat move accordingly, or having to decide which message to send). I agree with some of the previous comments: I think keyboard controls would have been nice, but all in all this is a solid entry. Good job!

Twisted Pair by pfeyffer 2026-04-21T18:29:37Z

Very nice puzzle, very polished with a lot of feedback. The difficulty feels just right: it feels simple to finish a puzzle but hard to get a good score. Also the "clickyness" of the tiles feels very satisfying. Great entry!

Signal Overload by ursagames 2026-04-24T11:36:40Z

The movement system is really original. Some of the upgrades weren't really clear to me at first glance. I believe having more feedback would help. Great concept!

Roadkill junction by BadPiggy 2026-04-21T19:14:06Z

This had me swearing a lot, which is a good thing! I love this game: the concept is very original, the art style and music have a very "grungy" feeling, very clever interpretation of the theme. I wasn't able to go reach one minute, but I'll keep trying. Great game, and thank you for accommodating AZERTY keyboards!

Alpine by RenD 2026-04-24T16:58:41Z

I love it! The platform control feels just right, the pixel art is gorgeous and the little bits of dialogues are lovely. The puzzles themselves aren't too challenging, but I think this fits the calm atmosphere and the scope of a game jam. Finally the ending was excellent: fits the mood while being rewarding. Great entry, thank you for sharing! Screenshot 2026-04-24 at 18-47-28 Alpine by Oddly Shaped Pixels.png

LD55 — Summoning

daydream by Mathstr0fficial 2024-04-15T16:51:08Z

Lovely! I wasn't expecting this when I started, but I like it! Sadly I couldn't get to the end, because I kept dying on the second memory, but I liked this interpretation of the theme. Plus the graphics and audio really set the mood. Nicely done!

PIED PIPER by arColm 2024-04-15T23:01:37Z

This is a great puzzle platformer! The mechanics are great, and the puzzles very clever (especially the one based on the last ability). The overall theme is also a nice take on "Summoning". Love it!

The Summoning Goes On by Inkweeper 2024-04-15T07:26:42Z

Screenshot 2024-04-15 at 09-25-23 itch.io.png

Nice concept! The difficulty rises up pretty quickly as the screen gets filled up fast, but the patterns are easily recognizable so you can plan your moves accordingly. I found the yellow "surrounding" circle a bit tricky to avoid as the safe zone in the middle is pretty small, but other than that it's good, and the music is a nice touch!

Diablillos by ladybenko 2024-04-16T13:36:37Z

Nice cartridge! The graphics and gameplay are both simple and very effective, though I must admit I wasn't able to finish it (maybe because I'm playing on a touchpad...). Great job!

Symthesis by ollie_d 2024-04-15T14:51:14Z

Very clever puzzle game! The concept is simple but deep, and the difficulty curve is just right. Good job!

Flying Buttress by Jack728 2024-04-15T22:15:05Z

That's some pretty tight platforming! That dive mechanic and the way you gain momentum kinda reminded me of the old Sonic games. Nice job!

Eulerian Demons by ghettobastler 2024-04-15T13:18:44Z

@atomicptr @fredrik-andersson @crocidb thank you for playing, and for your kind words!

Eulerian Demons by ghettobastler 2024-04-15T14:09:35Z

@freakyzelga Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it! (the zip file is only the source code. The game is HTML5 only for now)

Eulerian Demons by ghettobastler 2024-04-15T23:16:16Z

@co5monaut Thanks! To be honest, I'm still on the fence about the timer. I decided to go with it, but I added the "Training mode" as a way to let people experiment with the mechanic. Thanks for the feedback!

@sirjupitron Thank you!

@jack728 Thank you! And you're right, it is not very visible. I'm still not entirely if sure I'd keep it were I to make a more definitive version, but if I would, then I think I'd replace it with a progress bar or something... Thanks for your feedback!

@piero-pbes-studio Haha, thanks, but I'm really not that smart :P

Eulerian Demons by ghettobastler 2024-04-16T19:08:18Z

@imbajoe That's right, it's actually a picture of my coffee table that I dithered in GIMP (2 levels), with the two darkest colors of my palette. Thank you for playing!

Eulerian Demons by ghettobastler 2024-04-17T08:31:32Z

@silkworm-sweatshop Thank you! And yeah, not having enough time to add the music is my biggest regret...

@thomas-bringer Thank you!

@brainbetter Sorry about the audio, I just layered several live sounds and stuff made in sfxr without really paying attention to the levels... I still have to learn how to properly do these things. Thank you for the feedback!

@courtneylapin Oh wow, I think I've never managed to get a score that high myself, congrats! The 8 arm one is also my favorite, really fun to draw!

Eulerian Demons by ghettobastler 2024-04-17T20:51:47Z

@ugly-robot Haha thanks a lot, you really are too kind! Two funny things:

1. I went with the "connecting the dots" system because I was scared of implementing a system that would recognize what the player drew. I still don't understand how you managed to do it, but I'm impressed!

2. I wasn't sure whether to add the timer or not until the very end. I toyed with the idea of having the player just trying to get the right combination without any time limit, but I felt that it wouldn't really be that interesting... until I saw your game  (that being said, your system allows for more combinations than mine, so I think it is better suited for a more exploratory kind of gameplay)

Also yeah, I would definitely have the game skip the easier ones if I were to make a more complete version. For the jam though I didn't want to spend time on saving the player's progress.

Thanks again for the kind words, and good luck for the jam!

bergs by burnttoastdev 2024-04-16T12:04:02Z

Great game! This concept feels like it could lead to a lot of interesting puzzles! As mentioned in the previous comment, one of the levels has a switch that doesn't trigger, but the overall result is great (also at some point I just kept on mashing the "summon" button just because I loved the silly voice clip)

Summing Circle by Rawb 2024-04-15T23:29:22Z

Aww yesss: maths! Nice take on the theme. The game is really polished, great job!

Moth Magic by Impalpable 2024-04-16T10:43:32Z

Nice cartridge! As others have said, the particles are a bit much, but the fetching/planting loop is interesting. I had some trouble finding the flower, so would suggest having some kind of indicator/arrow hinting at where the flower is. But all in all it's a cool game, and the art style is lovely!

Cosmic Misadventures by vidarn 2024-04-16T20:43:32Z

Wow, this art is amazing, especially the cutscenes! The puzzles are nice and chill, which fits the mood set by the design and the music. Extra points for the mouth-sound-effects. Loved it!

Graphic-All by recursor 2024-04-15T16:16:05Z

I found that using the mouse to control the aim makes it very difficult to maneuver around the holes, but I like this interpretation of the theme. Both the visual style, sound effects and voiced bits work great together. Nice job!

Race to Kaiju by binroot 2024-04-16T10:32:58Z

Really like this concept! I didn't understand the connection mechanic at first, but I got the hang of it on my second try and managed to reach the kaiju. As mentioned in the previous comment, I think that showing the radius of the ship's cannons would be a great help. Nice job!

Wrath of Wrathmus by Fredrik Andersson 2024-04-15T12:28:52Z

The art and animation are very polished, and I loved the voice acting! At first, I kept bumping into Wrathmus while trying to reorient myself, but after getting the hang of the movement I was able to clear the levels pretty consistently (also, nice ending!)

SokoBane - Descend by PapriGames 2024-04-16T20:06:44Z

Nice puzzle mechanics! As others have said, I'm curious to see how the laser-monsters would interact with the others. Good idea, well exectued!

Unholy One by Rubikon 2024-04-16T10:56:30Z

Sadly I couldn't play because my keyboard is AZERTY  The game looks very good, and the voice acting is funny though!

Reverse Rituals by freakyzelga 2024-04-15T14:16:02Z

I got Naughty Claus! Nice game, brings back memories!

wiz by torcado 2024-04-16T21:25:03Z

The difficulty seemed to ramp up pretty quickly, but the mechanic feels very unique. I'm curious to see how this concept could be explored further! The overall look is very nice and polished. Well done!

IWANT by CO5MONAUT 2024-04-15T09:19:42Z

I could think about was "fight skeletons with rocks", so they beat me up to death  Very interesting concept, I had fun trying to come up with interesting combinations! I found that the board filled up very quickly, and I didn't get as many "I want" pieces as I would have liked. But again, maybe there's a lesson here... Nice job!

Principal's Office by Thomas_Bringer 2024-04-15T10:04:53Z

I like this interpretation of the theme. The writing is good, and I think I managed to guess what happened. Nice!

Zoomancy by ugly_robot 2024-04-15T14:06:24Z

That's impressive! The fact that you can erase/redo your sigil as many times as you want gives it a nice "exploratory" feeling, which fits the overall mood set by the art and music.

The Great Witch by lectvs 2024-04-16T11:52:23Z

Amazing! This is so fun, cute and polished. I kept playing way after wave 10, and I loved it. I'd say the only minor issues were that I couldn't see which creature I was feeding, and what upgrade they already have. But this is only minor, I really enjoyed this game and I would love to see it further developed in the future. Also: bonus point for the creature's eyes following the witch when they're carrying an orange. Great job!

The Summoned Struggle: Tales of a Tag-Along Demon by MartenJ 2024-04-17T19:47:50Z

Nice game! With this kind of flat sprites in a 3D space, I often find it difficult to see if I'm correctly aligned with the enemy, but here it gave me no problem! I also really like the cute aesthetics. Good job!

Dark Ritual by dvdagames 2024-04-16T13:58:04Z

Nice puzzle game! The level progression does a great job at explaining the different mechanics. Good job! (note: I somehow managed to get softlocked at one point where I entered the ethereal realm without unlocking the unholy flame ability, and couldn't return to the room with the chest to get it)

Blood of the Altar by Hot Noggin Studios 2024-04-16T20:28:42Z

Really fun, didn't see the time pass while playing! The running animation made me laugh, and the overall look of the game is really nice and juicy. Nice to see controller support on a web game!

Summon the Intern by Speedphoenix 2024-04-16T13:38:53Z

Great interpretation of the theme! Very hard, but I like the art style and music, and the game feels really polish. Nicely done!

Sminer by LightningST 2024-04-16T19:20:59Z

This is very polished! I really like the art style, though it does make it hard to identify some of the monster parts from time to time. The digging animation and the screen shake really ties the mining mechanic all together. Also: the music is banger. Good job!

Devotion - A fairytale by daandruff 2024-04-15T12:01:18Z

Amazing! The art is gorgeous, and the minimal soundtrack and sound effects do a great job of setting the mood. I had to check the walkthrough for hints a couple of times, but I finally got the hang of it and reached the end. Simple and effective, great job!

Dark Summoner's Forge by legendarypie 2024-04-17T20:11:10Z

Very nice, I had to stop myself from playing because it is so addictive! Maybe I missed something, but it would be nice to see the characteristics of the different units before spawning them. Nice game nonetheless!

Summon The Waiter by PromZona 2024-04-16T14:23:26Z

Oh wow, I genuinely laughed playing this! I love how you went all in with this unique interpretation of the theme. Bonus points for the animation in the intro cutscene, and for the gently spinning cats. Great job!

TERRIBLE TILES by oatsbarley 2024-04-16T14:33:11Z

Pretty much everything I have to say has already been said: being able to see what will come next would help understand the scoring system, and being able to see what sets will come next would allow for more strategy. That being said, the mechanic is very interesting, and as you said there is still some depth to explore with this concept. Also, the design of the tiles is very good. Nicely done, I hope you get well soon!

Demons stole my stuff by Zirrrus 2024-04-16T20:59:38Z

Nice puzzle mechanic. I found the clues to be just right in terms of difficulty. I agree with previous comments saying that sounds effect would have improved the overall mood, but the crisp graphics already carried it a long way. Good job!

Runic Distractions by 1y1e 2024-04-15T10:35:05Z

I love it! The tone is just the right blend of silly and spooky, and the tasks are hard enough to be challenging without being too frustrating. The only (very minor) issue I had was that the keyboard mapping wasn't right: pressing the "A" key on my (AZERTY) keyboard triggered the "Q" in game, even though I chose the "AZERTY" option at the beginning. Again, this is very minor as I still managed to reach the end by using the other keys. Great job!

The Klent by sirJupitron 2024-04-15T17:26:55Z

Great game! The flying mechanic feels real good, and the platforming is tight. The retro art style and the music really brings it all together. Good job!

Echos of Players Past by Jezzamon 2024-04-16T15:54:04Z

Amazing! A great idea, very well executed. How you managed to design the levels without already having access to a pool of players is beyond my comprehension. I'd love to see this idea explored further. Very well done!

Demon Keys by JulienLussiez 2024-04-16T16:02:38Z

Lovely short game! While the gameplay is very simple, the whole game is very polished and feels complete. I especially love the little bit of animation on the demon, which adds a lot of dynamism. Now I kinda want to try playing it on a dancepad...

Path of Aratron by nusan 2024-04-16T13:16:01Z

Great puzzle game! This is a nice twist on the "programming game" genre, with a lot of style and polish. Amazing!

Life of a Summon by someone 2024-04-16T15:31:53Z

I decided to rebel against my masters

mosnter_000.jpg

This is so funny, great job! And kudos for making your own engine!

LD56 — Tiny Creatures

Ants! by Emilija Marija 2024-10-09T15:01:36Z

Wow, I played this way longer than I expected. This is a very cool game! Although the main concept is simple, I found the way it is set up very impressive: the way the play area opens up seamlessly, with the camera pulling back, thus making the enemy seem like they only appear later in the game... It makes you want to explore, which makes finding new objects exciting (the box of ant repellent at the end of the line is a nice touch).

Also, the bit of vocals at the end of the music was very cute, and actually made me chuckle. Really nice!

Sweet Home ? by Oduvan 2024-10-08T10:35:16Z

Nice job! As mentioned in the previous comments, the prices might need some adjustments, but the overall experience is solid: the art, music and controls are very good, and you managed to get the game pretty well polished in those 72 hours!

Viral Inflection by nidjo123 2024-10-09T11:51:02Z

Interesting take on the theme! The game is fun, and it would be interesting to see what variation could be added to this idea.

Cell Hell by VanLou 2024-10-09T09:15:24Z

Interesting take on the theme. I liked the art style, and the phage's movement pattern can be challenging to deal with. I did take advantage of the fact that you move faster diagonally though, but overall it's a good experience! Screenshot 2024-10-09 at 11-08-11 Cell Hell by brdyy.png

Monthkeeper by markeryjane 2024-10-08T05:48:42Z

Nice game! The concept is very interesting, and I would like to see it explored further (maybe with other bonuses ?). The animation and soundtrack feel very trippy, and I managed to get the full year after four of five tries. Really cool!

Dice Killer by WildCodePlay 2024-10-08T05:57:22Z

Interesting concept! The game really kept me thinking on my feet, forcing me to adapt with each new pattern. I found that I didn't really rely on the "next dice" indicator, but I feel that this is part of what made it exciting. I also liked the funny art and sound effects.

Vox Regis by Sheepolution 2024-10-09T16:23:41Z

Screenshot 2024-10-09 at 18-15-37 itch.io.png

Amazing. The interpretation of the theme is very original, and the resulting game feels very polished. The way the game forces you to keep an eye on every faction, emulating the way a king has to evaluates where they put their trust... This contrasts with the art style and the random latin phrases which gives the game a more silly vibe. I love it!

(btw, thanks for the LÖVE tutorials, they've been a great help!)

Bun Run by Koolruz 2024-10-09T09:40:41Z

It took me a bit of time to get the hang of the movement, but after that it is quite fun! As others have mentioned, I think the difficulty ramps up too quickly (the cheat code is very appreciated!), but the way movement is handled makes for a pretty unique challenge. Also, great art style!

Jar Life by zep 2024-10-09T15:43:32Z

Screenshot 2024-10-09 at 17-35-56 Jar Life ldjam.com Ludum Dare game jam.png

Great game! Having to decide when and where to break the bottle adds a surprising layer of strategy. I had to retry the last level a few times, but the overall difficulty was perfect. The music and sound effect are cute, and I feel like this goes without saying, but the art is amazing °°

Tiny Rexes: Professional Dinosorting by BenjaTK 2024-10-09T09:29:27Z

I love it! The concept is very original, and you managed to develop it into a solid game. I found it was easy to pickup, and become challenging very quickly. And the art style and music are so cute! I'm frankly amazed by the level of polish you managed to put into the game in such a short amount of time. If I were to nitpick, I'd say having the color selection at the top left of the screen makes changing them a bit tedious, but that's a very minor thing. Definitely one of my favorite games so far! Screenshot 2024-10-09 at 11-28-00 Tiny Rexes Professional Dinosorting by BenjaTK.png

Tiny Escape by Loig 2024-10-09T11:48:34Z

Screenshot 2024-10-09 at 13-34-21 Tiny Escape by Loïg.png Good puzzles. There's a lot of mechanics to keep in mind, (visibility, terrain, enemy movement...), but you did a great job at introducing them one level at a time. Also having to balance food, movement and people add another layer of complexity, and the way everything fits together is really impressive! It would be interesting to see how these ideas could be explored further!

Tiny meat boys by Byzilio 2024-10-09T15:15:58Z

Great puzzle game. I've seen several jam entries that let you control a bunch of characters at the same time, but having the option of freezing them makes this game quite unique. Very nice!

TinyDefense by Matimoo 2024-10-09T11:57:50Z

Nice game! I had a bit of trouble getting used to the controls, but the concept is interesting and it would be interesting to see some variation to it

Tara by sbeif 2024-10-09T12:10:00Z

Screenshot 2024-10-09 at 14-04-47 Tara by Fabio Marocchi.png

Great game. The main idea is clever and very well implemented, and the difficulty curve is just right. The art and animations are very lovely, and the color scheme and music gives a very retro vibe to the whole game. Love it!

You Can Save The Rat by poboy 2024-10-08T08:23:56Z

At first, I wondered if saving the rat was even possible, but then I read the title of the game, retried a few times and got the "true" ending. The writing is spot on, and the music and art create a soothing atmosphere (although this made the death scenes a bit too gruesome in contrast, IMO). A great game overall, with bonus points for the cat's voice, which is perfect in every way.

Battle for the Pages by Andreas Roschal 2024-10-08T10:56:45Z

Really fun game! It took me some time to wrap my head around the different mechanics, but this is mostly due to me not being familiar with this type of game. The art is beautiful, and with the addition of the music and the voice lines, it creates a nice "laying back with a book" vibe.

LD57 — Depths

Pogo Dwarf by NTMalichi 2025-04-07T09:00:52Z

I also got stuck on the stairs, but the movement mechanic is interesting! As previously mentioned, having a "buildup" system where your jumps get higher and higher could lead to some nice challenges

Pogo Dwarf by NTMalichi 2025-04-07T16:40:42Z

FIY I tried the fixed version, and I can confirm that I am now able to go past the point where I was stuck before! However, I am now stuck at to the second set of red rocks, but that is probably me and not a programming error  Thank you for the fix!

Lock Smith by Flying Butter Studio 2025-04-07T12:18:48Z

Interesting take on the theme! The music and voiceover create a pleasant atmosphere. I'm curious about what's behind the timed level (I didn't manage to complete it in time, but I'm guessing it is possible). Mention spéciale pour la VF (avec doublage, chapeau !)

Lotus Well by Aly Name 2025-04-07T15:01:56Z

Nice puzzle game, an interesting take on the theme. My only complaint is that the game's resolution is a bit large for my screen, so I couldn't read all the dialogues 🫤. But it's otherwise an amazing entry, and the fact that you managed to come up with, and implement an original puzzle idea with this level of polish is really impressive. Great job!

Shleep by Rongo Matane 2025-04-11T09:19:07Z

Amazing game. The pixel art, the sound design, the writing... Excellent!

Focus Hunt by dhim 2025-04-07T14:20:10Z

Good take on the theme! It's an interesting twist on the search and find genre, and I really enjoy the visual style. I agree with @foolishfool regarding the feedback (maybe have the item disappear once found ?). Overall a very nice entry!

Diving Belle by The Stewarts 2025-04-10T18:17:36Z

This is so nice! The sprites are beautiful, and the gameplay is very solid. I really like how the knockback of the harpoon gun forces you to spend O2 fetching the money. Great entry!

Digdigdig by hubol 2025-04-10T13:32:42Z

Great game! The cute graphics combine with the tone of the dialogues to create a very weird vibe that I really enjoy. The drilling mechanic is very clever, and getting upgrades feels very rewarding.

I feel like the goon fights were missing some kind of indication of how much health they had left ? At one point, I was trying to beat a good that killed me over and over until I realized that health was (maybe?) restored each time I died

Apart from that, I ended up spending a lot of time trying to find all the buried secrets. Love it!

Brittle Heart by jhandsy 2025-04-11T10:40:42Z

The game's great visuals and sound design create a very eerie ambiance. I found the controls a bit too heavy, but it does contribute to the general mood of the game. Great entry!

Blip by osh.studio 2025-04-07T16:12:41Z

Good game! The teleporting mechanic leads to some nice puzzles, and the CRT look is very nice

Schooling by Retrisma 2025-04-08T10:58:36Z

Great idea! I was a bit confused by the controls, and I agree with previous comments about needing more feedback, but the idea is very promising and the result very polished.

I really enjoyed these puzzles. The mechanics are clever, and the difficulty curve just right. Great game!

Where it Ends by cherrybcake 2025-04-09T09:55:49Z

Great game: a simple concept with a lot of polish. I like the double interpretation of the theme! My only suggestion would be to cap the falling speed, but apart from that it is a very good entry, and very impressive for a first game !

Lockpicks-11 by suvi 2025-04-12T08:57:49Z

Nice! The graphics and animation are great, and the whole "minigame succession" kinda reminds me of the Wario Ware series. Great game!

DownThread by eyedromeda 2025-04-07T09:32:34Z

Great game! The animation is really remarkable: there's the creature's leg movements, but also the reaction when you pluck a fruit or kill a monster. This, along with the sound design and "blocky" graphics gives it a very polished look. Very nice!

Flatline by Empyreans 2025-04-11T11:11:58Z

Nice puzzles. The minimalist aesthetics work well with the theme, and there's a good sense of progression in the level design. I found the level with the moving blocks a bit less fair, but they were still doable. Great entry!

Tout au fond (at the very bottom) by PieRo_PBeS_studio 2025-04-08T08:09:38Z

A delightful game, as always

FEARFISHING by tive 2025-04-08T11:08:53Z

Wow! The sound design and palette create a very spooky atmosphere despite the minimalist art style, and the movement feels nice and responsive. I keep getting eaten by the big scary fish before collecting the four fishes, so I don't know if I'm missing something or just not very good . Great game!

HMS Lumos by Helagos 2025-04-08T08:26:13Z

Nice and relaxing game. I find it to be on the easy side, but the roguelike mechanic kept me playing again and again. I think it would be interesting to have more valuable treasures appear the deeper you go ? Nice entry overall, good job!

Help! I'm Trapped on The Torment Trapeze. by Yossarian 2025-04-07T14:38:28Z

Nice entry. I did not manage to grab all the stars, but it's an interesting idea, very well executed. I'll come back to it and try again. Good job!

Moos from the Depth of Space by notnasiul 2025-04-08T10:51:28Z

Great cart! I don't often see this kind of art style with PICO-8 games. The gameplay is simple but effective, and it feels very "complete" and polished. Love it!

The Stochastic Abyss by Ezard94 2025-04-11T11:19:34Z

Amazing visuals, and a very interesting idea! I agree with the previous comments about adding feedback, and I feel like having a bit more agency would be interesting. Maybe having to choose between playing or discarding a card ? I feel like it could mesh well with the timer mechanic. Anyway, great entry!

When it Sinks by jeremyfa 2025-04-10T12:47:30Z

Great narrative game. The writing is very good, and you managed to convey a lot through the simple shapes and animations (especially the way you chose to represent the doctor). J'espère que ça va, et en tout cas bravo pour ce jeu !

Deep Point by Garywiss 2025-04-07T09:12:51Z

Nice game! While the concept is simple, it's well executed. I didn't encounter any problem with the embedded version, but maybe it's already fixed ? Special mention for the music, which is very good and adds a lot to the general vibe.

Bien joué!

Bag of Bag of Bag of Holding by ZettaSimp 2025-04-08T09:33:34Z

Really nice algorithmic puzzles. Quite hard: I didn't manage to get past the locked bags yet, but a very interesting take on the theme. The object description are funny and add a touch of lore. Love it!

Puzzle Pieces by vidarn 2025-10-09T17:48:26Z

What a beautiful entry! I like how the serious atmosphere contrast with the conclusion (I actually laughed). Very impressive!

Ashveil by FunBanan 2025-10-09T17:20:16Z

Interesting idea! Took me a couple of times to understand how to plan my moves, but I managed to finish the game. I think this mechanic has a lot of potential, maybe with different power ups, or enemies that moves... Very good entry!

Stamp Collector by Mamboman 2025-10-13T04:16:22Z

Truly amazing. The gameplay is simple and efficient. The art is beautiful. The music and sound design are very moody. Loved it!

Interstellar Repossession Service by firellon 2025-10-13T04:09:08Z

Having to manage a longer and longer train gives a game a very nice balance. As others have said, aiming is quite difficult. I think I would have preferred having the turret on the "head" instead of the second module. It also lead to situations where I'd lose my turret, without any way of getting it back or scoring any more points (maybe have a way to buy upgrades and/or repair with the money you earn ?). But that being said the game fits the theme pretty well, and the art direction feels very coherent.

The Collector by ScrapMetal 2025-10-13T04:54:11Z

Good entry! I love the graphics, animation and sound design. I think the gameplay is solid, and it would be interesting to see how you'd expand on it if you had more time. Nice!

Stamp Divers by harujam 2025-10-09T04:47:07Z

I agree with other comments about having an indicator for which stamps you have to collect during the level, and an indicator of where your hand is. But with that being said the concept is interesting, and very well implemented: the graphics, sfx and music create a "silly" atmosphere that fits the theme very well. Nice!

Fair Trade by Puuukich 2025-10-11T09:23:08Z

Great entry! I got the three relics on my first try. The cards and combo mechanics feels nicely balanced, though I did not use the different David statues. The art, character design and music are beautiful, and I loved the whole "clandestine" atmosphere. Very nice!

Mushroom! by Tim Eriksen 2025-10-14T18:59:03Z

Nice game! I think these mechanics work pretty well together, especally the "detection radius" that diminishes when you are moving. I would be happy to see how you develop this concept further. Nice entry!

Vault of Stars by graebor 2025-10-14T04:25:12Z

Very nice game. I think I would have liked a bit more variation in the puzzles, but aside from that it's a great entry: beautiful art and animations. And the eerie music creates a somewhat melancholic atmosphere. Nicely done!

Spaceship Scrapdown by jabzey 2025-10-10T12:44:16Z

Great concept! I kinda wished there was a way to reorganize the different modules once they're placed: I got gunned down when I lost power on my guns, but I still had space on a power cell. But I nitpick: I think there's a lot of potential here (maybe with different shapes and effect ?). Great entry!

Patent Troll by arkicade 2025-10-09T05:00:26Z

Nice take on the theme. As others have mentioned, spamming the pixels resulted in a easy win. But other than that it's a very well polished entry. Everything, from the graphics to the music to the writing, is absolutely well made. Very impressive!

Out Of Energy by Custodi 2025-10-11T08:03:52Z

It took me a some time to understand how to recharge, but once I got the gameplay loop of "grabbing batteries" -> "going back to the tower to fill up" -> "going further to get more batteries" it went better. I think that it would be clearer if the energy you'll get back was indicated a chunk of the bar with a different color/shape instead of a number in brackets. That being said, I liked the cute graphics, and overall I think it's an interesting concept, which could be expanded and iterated upon ? Nice entry !

Gimme Drive by caeonosphere 2025-10-09T18:40:09Z

Interesting concept. I did not manage to finish all the levels, but I enjoyed the atmosphere and graphics. I think it would help to have some indication of what turn needs to be made after you draw a road passing through a star. Good game!

Photo Tamer by MestreRothLD 2025-10-11T08:06:51Z

Really cute entry! I like the nice and calm atmosphere, and the funny sound creature sounds. Great job!

A Familiar Task by Codeman1010 2025-10-09T04:34:55Z

I agree with @maakole about having more feedback when picking up items and completing the list. I also find the "toad music" a bit too intense, especially compared to the eerie atmosphere of the different biomes, but that might be a matter of taste. That being said, the atmosphere is very coherent, and the cute art style fits the theme very well. Nice!

Stamp Collector by grid96 2025-10-11T07:10:23Z

Nice chill game. The different mechanics are well implemented getting a stamp out and in the folder feels very satisfying. I think sound effects would have made it even better, but other than that a very good entry!

TRASH-OUT by MelekTaus 2025-10-07T05:01:20Z

Oh I love it! The visuals, music and little voice lines are adorable and give the game a very polished feel. The game feels nicely balanced. I had to retry a couple of times before finding a good upgrade path, but then collecting the trash felt easier and very smooth (I also appreciate how the grabber only grabs one kind of trash). Well done!

Duckollector by ghettobastler 2025-10-06T18:00:22Z

Thank you all!

@jacobwinters indeed, a new enemy spawn every third bit you collect. I wanted to give the player the time to decide if they want to continue or not, but this is hard to reconcile with a gameplay that encourages you to be fast and think on your feet. Thank you for your comment!

Rock Collector by Cobear25 2025-10-10T09:37:30Z

Interesting concept. Maybe the scoring could be a little bit clearer, like having the row/column score update when you hover a space ? I liked the cute sound effects and the little faces on the rock as well. Nice entry!

Pumpkin Bumpkin by automatonvx 2025-10-10T10:37:59Z

As other have mentioned, I found the game a bit too punitive. I don't think that the absence of air control is an issue, but not being able to experiment and get a feel for jump distances without dying, combined with the slow movement and large levels makes the experience too tedious for me. That being said, I loved the retro pixel art and music. A very polished entry

Blossom Fox by Patatje 2025-10-11T08:23:13Z

Cute game! Part of me would have like to be able to control the height of my jumps, but having a set jump height also makes it a good challenge.

Also, I think having some control on the number of flower that fall down, or the rate at which your "energy" depletes would be nice: at one point I realized I could just run at the spot where the flower would land, without jumping. So I was able to avoid the bees and catch every flower that spawned, but only got ending 4/5 which felt a bit unfair since there wasn't enough flower for me to catch, or time for me to get more ?

But otherwise it's a very cute entry. I enjoyed the cute graphics and sound, and the lovely story was a nice take on the theme!

Corpse Collector by marudziik 2025-10-11T09:35:33Z

Interesting take on the theme. Two nitpicks: I found the cursor is a bit too slow for my taste, and the pool of parts felt a bit too "samey" from level to level. But other than that I think this is an interesting concept, and the gory pixel art works very well. Nice entry!

Toybox by jordantanner 2025-10-13T04:46:06Z

I like the minimalist design. I think the timing/hitbox is a bit too tight: sometimes it feels and look like I was right over the ball, but I still fail. Nice work of the sound design though

Gemwright by Jimbly 2025-10-10T11:56:20Z

Got the three gems in 41 days! Very interesting mechanics, kept me hooked longer than I expected. The game feels balanced, and it allows for some nice planning and optimization. I'm also very impressed by the SFX that adapts tto your choices, very satisfying. I'm not sure what the "temperament" stat does, though ? But other than that a very polished (no pun intended) entry!

Manually counted Reference GC by sebbernery 2025-10-10T09:46:25Z

Cool idea, and a very original take on the theme! Having to keep track of several tasks at once gives the game a very "Overcooked" feel (which makes me wonder what this would look like as a multiplayer game). I think it would be interesting to see the concept expanded with other constraints and mechanics. Anyway, very nice game (et la référence à QUALIOPI m'a fait sourire )

Collecting Dust by jacobwinters 2025-10-06T18:19:50Z

I like this take on the theme! I found that the robots' movements were a bit unpredictable, so I tried to see what objects they were getting close to and just rush to grab them, but I couldn't get there in time (maybe with slower vacuums or more telegraphed path?). Still, the writing is funny, and the graphic style works well with the theme. Nice entry!

Frame it by Ron88 2025-10-10T12:27:19Z

Good puzzles. The physics were a bit glitchy at moments, but the graphics and transitions were really beautiful. Nice entry!

Bone Collector by Antti Haavikko 2025-10-12T18:52:49Z

Great concept. The combat system works very well, especially the way your possibilities expand the more weapon you get. However I'm not sure about the movement system. It feels a bit unfair to win a battle with 1 HP left, and then die because you couldn't get to the next stage and had to reroll. However that's my only note, everything else is amazing, from the art to the music, and the little details like the music getting pitched down when you get hit. Truly amazing!

Taxbear of Haybrunn by spacecadet 2025-10-08T05:07:09Z

Fun concept! Like @stef-studio-7 said, I think having different taxable items from day to day would add a bit more challenge. I also really liked the fast pace of the game. This, and the cute animal characters, contrasts with the moody music, theme and dialogues, which results in a very funny atmosphere. Really fun game!

Heart Collector by khaotom 2025-10-11T06:45:02Z

Interesting mechanic. It took me some time to understand, but once I got the hang of it it got pretty "flowy". There were times when, once I picked up the heart, the character became separated and I was controlling both of them at the same time. I don't know if it's on purpose (it felt like it was caused by the heart and character having separate hitboxes), but it made for an original challenge! That being said, I like the combination of photograph backgrounds and hand-drawn game elements. This and the music gave it a very "trippy" atmosphere. Nice!

Open Collector by Void4 2025-10-08T04:52:31Z

I'm a sucker for puns and electronics, so I really enjoyed this take on the theme! The concept is interesting, and I managed to collect all items in 215s on my second run (the first time I walked through a door, not realizing it was the exit). A few nitpicks: I sometimes did not realize that I picked up keys, so I think having a way to differentiate them from other relics would help. Also the doors were a bit too narrow, and got stuck a few times trying to get through doors. But overall I really enjoyed the spooky atmosphere and the object descriptions at the end reminded me of Pikmin. Nice entry!

Florence Memories by MrBamboo 2025-10-14T04:11:04Z

What a beautiful game! This is the first time I see this take on the theme, and greatly executed. It's really nice to find a game with a heartwarming story. Thank you for this lovely moment.

Mushrooms by PieRo_PBeS_studio 2025-10-08T04:30:44Z

A nice walk through the forest!

Call Hector by Pikario 2025-10-10T13:44:48Z

Great game! The difficulty feels just right, though I kinda solved the center puzzle by accident  The pixel art, the music, the "clickiness" of the buttons... Very polished entry, loved it !

Mailbox Mania by Wuppos 2025-10-17T08:30:44Z

As others have mentioned, the steering might be a bit hard to control. The gameplay loop however is very well made: nothing superfluous, you understand clearly where your goals are, very nice!

Trash Dash by UnitedFailures 2025-10-13T04:29:27Z

Good entry. The game feels nicely balanced, with a large hitbox to manage but a lot of air control to compensate. Having to stop and compact the trash also adds an element of risk to the game, but it feels like there should be some kind of reward on top of the points (maybe some kind of powerup to add some variation to the gameplay?) Nice game overall!
