LD31 — Entire Game on One Screen

Star Grabber by mtinkerhess 2014-12-08T05:19:00

The puzzles were great! I was super engrossed until the enemies were introduced, then the challenge just flew away. Also I accidentally went into the final portal before I got the star and it took me back to the title screen without an obvious way to get back!

Tyrannicide by koujaku 2014-12-08T06:15:00

This is one of the funniest games I have ever played.

ASDF ASDF by alesys 2014-12-08T04:25:00

This game is great! Super cute and fun! I wish I could jump onto the higher levels, though!

Kerfuffle by rabbit 2014-12-08T05:59:00

Super rad! Responsive controls and cute bouncy graphics! Also the jams were super chill. Great job!

Pony Island by Danman9914 2014-12-08T04:34:00

Really cool! Tons of twists and turns. I only wish the pony jumping gameplay was a bit more appealing.

Key Point by oranebeast 2014-12-08T04:56:00

I agree with BtheDestroyer. Checkpoints would have been great! Otherwise the game was pretty engrossing! I felt like the character could collide too easily with the spikes, too. Every now and then I would lose myself because I didn't realize I had died!

Swarm by stephenhaney 2014-12-08T05:04:00

Nice game man! I love how essentially built three difficulties into the game from the get go, then each time the pluses spawned it was like going to a new level. I only wish it has been longer!

Floor is Lava by sepharoth213 2014-12-08T06:27:00

I really like the visuals, but for some reason the platforms were hard for me to track. The little sprite animation was great! I think his air drag is a little high, though

Peeping Screen by Pastry 2014-12-08T04:36:00

Haha nice.

LightRays by Hicksk 2014-12-08T04:22:00

As you play the game the visuals get pretty cool! The controls could use a little smoothing, though.

Don't Fall by SeriousDeath 2014-12-08T06:46:00

Super great! Very fun and cute! I wish the combat had been just a bit more actiony!

LD32 — An Unconventional Weapon

Travelers by Jhandsy 2015-04-23T22:03:00

Hey thanks for all the kind words! I'm going to change the controls and re-upload it soon. Yeah I definitely could have given it a better difficulty curve. It's very sharp right now.

Non finisher by Knowledge 2015-04-22T04:18:00

I fell through the yellow...

Rhythm Gunner by DDRKirby(ISQ) 2015-04-20T04:55:00

This is really nice! I thought it was a little hard, though! The different instruments having different rhythms is really cool.

LD38 — A Small World

Small World by Calzep 2017-05-20T00:57:43Z

Pretty nice. Good mood. The music was pretty dope! I wish there wasn't a limit on how many people you can recruit. And some procedural dialogue would have been nice, too.

Lottery: you judge them I judge you by doppelgunner 2017-05-01T04:44:42Z

It was a really interesting concept! I think it would have felt more complete if you got a small wrap up ending based on who you saved. Myself popping up as an option was nice and surprising. What if, depending on the choices you make, the last person alive besides you were to make the call of who lives? That way it would feel like your choices had more long term consequence.

The Cookie Knight by aaranos 2017-05-01T04:59:36Z

It's a buggy messed but I really liked it! You surprised me with those dropping platforms.

Nucleu by agentparsec 2017-05-01T05:29:48Z

Very peacful! I really enjoying the ending, and the music was spectacular. I thought green friend was a little out of place. Maybe it was just his eyes.

Really nice job, though!

Memory:Leak by Alex Lutay 2017-05-02T16:41:49Z

Really excellent! I managed to beat the whole thing! The art and sound are both really nice and go together well, the game play was fun and challenging! I think the earlier levels could have been a bit more challenging. And any confusion about pieces would be done away with if you included hover-over text for the lower left piece selection UI.

Maybe it could be fun to have an endless mode? Perhaps you could include tiles in some levels that are just negatives to overcome?

Good job! I really enjoyed your game!

Space Migrator by jackyjjc 2017-05-01T05:06:26Z

Really nice concept! I deffo played endless mode for a while! I think with a little gameplay variation you could have yourself a pretty solid puzzle game!

I really wanted to be able to smash things up by crashing buildings into the sides of towers. Also I think you should zoom out the view a bit sooner than you do.

Super Collapse Guy by crazi456 2017-05-01T16:08:45Z

Super nice! Concept was stop on and well executed! And it fit the theme in a creative way, which was refreshing. I love the little enemies with the swords strapped to their heads.

The cover art is really spectacular. I wish that style had been expressed in the visuals of the game.

Planetary Assault Self Defense! by alpenter 2017-05-17T11:41:02Z

I liked it! I agree with @moonleaf. Wanted more challenging levels and more upgrade. Probably some more variants in enemy ships would have been nice. The audio was really pleasant and did wonders for the mood. Good entry!

Dr. M Little's Planet Mass Overdrive by slimabob 2017-05-01T05:38:26Z

I would have liked the thrusts to have more pop! Even if you just made the max power thrust like twice a powerful.

Three of you. by BitOfGold 2017-05-01T16:12:56Z

My characters were jittering all over the place!

I have to admit, I thought that the animals were going to "disappear" in traditional food chain order when my hunger hit 100.

Statera by Kristian David 2017-05-01T04:29:50Z

The planet was nice, and the concept was interesting. I didn't feel the need to intervene for a long time, until the slime population got out of control. In fact, I think the game is best played by mostly leaving it alone, which is kind of odd. Maybe try starting the player out with a population crisis to get things moving faster.

Flurpies by Gumboot 2017-04-25T17:38:49Z

Nice job Gumboot! It was super cute, I really liked the soundtrack, and I love the idea of a virtual pet adventure! My only critique is that as you evolve, your jump becomes too high! A shorthop would have been nice.

Retro Rabbit by wtoa 2017-05-01T04:51:44Z

Yeah munch mode was awesome! The music is really nice. I especially liked how the two tracks sounded enough alike that the switch between them was pretty smooth. The planet was a nice color, and the rabbit was cute, but the camera angle didn't really let you appreciate the model.

My Name is Bunny by AlexClay 2017-05-08T06:47:53Z

I wanted to live on the moon!

When Resizing by pinneh 2017-05-08T06:37:56Z

Yeah the scaling idea is really cool, but the game just doesn't feel great to play. With a little work I think it could be really neat, though!

Aliens vs Rng by Valicitor 2017-05-01T16:20:46Z

The art is really nice! I got responses for the wrong card a lot, it seemed. It was a really cool idea, but I think the player's choices should be felt more.

Booster's Day Out by paulstraw 2017-05-02T17:16:57Z

It was pretty fun. I liked the little space messages a lot. The art was simple but nice! Good job! It was just a bit too tough to do anything. I think you probably should have given the ship a bit more resistance to damage. I really, REALLY wanted to land on another planet.

Dungeon In a Bottle by jhandsy 2017-05-01T05:10:18Z

Yeah we deffo should have added arrow keys. Our bad!

And thanks! I'm really proud of the way the visuals turned out!

Dungeon In a Bottle by jhandsy 2017-05-07T07:22:13Z

@dgspitzer Thank you for your kind words and your critique! Yeah, the spikes definitely feel a little magnetic! We're going to fix that in the next version for sure!

Dungeon In a Bottle by jhandsy 2017-05-07T07:23:23Z

@aaranos I hadn't even thought about Shantae, but those games we're awesome!

Dungeon In a Bottle by jhandsy 2017-05-07T07:24:50Z

@awpteamoose Ah we'll have to check that out! Sorry I think both of us used Chrome and sometimes multi-browser testing falls to the wayside when you're time crunched!

Dungeon In a Bottle by jhandsy 2017-05-11T22:54:47Z

@samlo @nusan @sachos345 @alex-lutay We updated it to include arrow keys as controls! Sorry that took us so long!

Dungeon In a Bottle by jhandsy 2017-05-12T16:40:15Z

@for-science Yeah... we added spikes offscreen in some levels, but it was kind of a last-minute realization, so not all of them got the treatment. You can press R to restart the level, though!

Gravity Trails by electr1ca 2017-05-07T07:33:30Z

Really nice and cute! It reminded me of a lot of games I really like! I think VVVVVV was mentioned? The music was great and the game, while short, was just oozing with personality!

Super great job!

Song of Fungus by DGSpitzer 2017-05-06T23:51:19Z

That was really excellent! Thanks for the great experience! I got to the end, which wasn't easy!

I understand that the early levels were meant to illustrate the mechanics, which you did beautifully, but I feel like they could have been ever so slightly more challenging. The difficulty at the end was marvelous, though!

I hope you pursue this game further! I would love to play it on my phone!

Going Home by Kyona Luya 2017-05-03T02:31:17Z

I really enjoyed this! Very atmospheric! I would have liked some puzzlier applications of the mechanic, though!

The soundtrack was nice! Like something out of twin peaks!

Thanks for the nice experience!

Antnator by sachos345 2017-05-02T17:27:07Z

It was pretty good! The music got a little grating after a while. I liked the humor. I think you probably should have given the basic gun infinite ammo, though. Doesn't feel great to run out and be helpless.

Meetup by sofibab 2017-05-08T06:17:54Z

Perhaps displaying the players to avoid while the game is going on would make it a bit easier! You'd still have the challenge of looking at them while dealing with the super fast gameplay!

I really liked you music, and the concept was really interesting! Good job!

LD39 — Running out of Power

Ride Out by Stending 2017-08-03T15:49:27Z

Looks really nice, but it doesn't look like the webgl version is up!

Lionel's Weekend by nidup 2017-08-02T07:27:59Z

Really nice work! Very atmospheric! The sound puzzle aspect was really cool, but I think you could have emphasized the horror aspect a bit more. Before I realized there was no danger, the game was REALLY tense for me.

The Road To Power by tinykidtoo 2017-08-02T03:14:40Z

Really nice cyoa. Good, funny writing. I played through it A BUNCH (until I got a good ending). I thing "struggling to manage power" is an appropriate interpretation of the theme.

VoltRush by Reiv 2017-08-07T16:47:38Z

Nice job! I really enjoyed it! Your music and art were both great! The gameplay was a bit basic but fun and well implemented!

There was like, ONE spike row that was so hard to see that I died on it twice before realizing it was there, haha.

Are You Sure You Want To Send That? by grandtheftmarmot 2017-08-03T16:00:23Z

Nice! I would have been able to finish it if I wasn't so bad at typing. Super funny and charming!

An interesting alternate idea might be to make the game about deleting specific words and letters to turn the tweets into sensible, positive things.

Power Surge by lozzadawg 2017-08-02T03:51:35Z

Pretty fun! I liked the power management aspect, and I think the visual design was nice. Would have benefitted from a little gameplay variance, like perhaps another enemy type. Or maybe like, a power sucking tower you could place that would zap nearby baddies, allowing you to ignore that direction for a bit.

Mission Power On by FuriousWitch 2017-08-02T04:00:52Z

Those tunes were so jazzy, but they stopped looping!

Power Up! by AlexClay 2017-08-02T04:08:12Z

That was pretty cool! I liked the simple visual style, and the hamster wheels were really neat! I didn't really get the power towers, though, and having attacks home onto enemies kinda dropped the challenge a bit much. Really neat concept!

e Negative by jhandsy 2017-08-05T03:27:11Z

@brandon-diaz Thanks very much! Yeah with a little more polish we probably could get "weight" without "frustration."

@teddydd We might!

@angela-he Thank you very much! I could say the same about your entry ;D

We're Out of Batteries! by kabloosh 2017-08-03T15:47:26Z

Nice job! Congratulations on your first LD game!

I would add a lot if you could fight off the ghosts in some way. Like maybe a function where you sacrifice a battery or a point to make the lamp in the middle flash, which banishes ghosts in a small area?

Bright Plateau by fmdkdd 2017-08-02T05:39:57Z

This was really fun! Good job! I thought the puzzles had just enough parts and they were just challenging enough! I couldn't hear any sound, and that would have been nice, but perhaps that was an issue on my end.

Fun, Good Looking, and Inventive! Nice work!

PRAY FOR TESLA by slovnoslomo 2017-08-03T15:40:38Z

I thought this was really fun! The art was nice and consistent and the mechanics were compelling.

Some notes: I may have been more interesting to make the player have to release the tesla charge. Like, the generator charges up, indicates that it's done, then the player clicks on it to release it. That way you could save your charge for a big wave and you would have to actively pay attention in a way that wasn't just building things.

Also there is a bug (I think) where you can accidentally pick up buildings. I'm not entirely sure how to reproduce it, but I think it happened when I hit left click to often. It seemed like the buildings I picked up in this way stopped working.

Also, those demolishing ships were a little cruel.

LD40 — The more you have, the worse it is

Runaway Corruption by Move127 2017-12-05T03:07:41Z

This is really well put together! My only complaint is that you should give the player some invincibility frames after being hit!

Cardhoard by HacksawUnit 2017-12-05T05:38:19Z

This is crazy good!

Curse Collector by bridgs 2017-12-05T04:25:19Z

Super fun! I really loved it. The art was lovely, the concept was great, and the theme execution was maybe my favorite so far! My only complaint is that I would like to have a bigger moveset. Maybe a dodge or a charge attack. Really awesome submission!

Greedy Dungeon by daul 2017-12-08T07:31:37Z

Really well done! I'm sure its been said before, but I think the biggest problem is the fact that the attack goes in the direction of the characters momentum, rather than based on which direction the player pressed. The art is beautiful, the audio was awesome, and the game has tons of polish!

LD45 — Start with nothing

Light your way out by Suchista 2019-10-20T19:34:05Z

This game was by far the best LD game I've played this time around! The mechanics are really smart, and I think you have plenty of room to expand if you want to! The only gripe I have is that some of the art was kind of hard to see. The yellow placement tiles' indent color is WAY too close to the other yellow, and the just grey blank placement tiles are much too similar to the empty tiles.

Alchemicraft by chaosed0 2019-10-20T18:58:26Z

Graphics were really nice, and the atmosphere was great! I think starting the player off with a tiny bag was kind of unnecessarily harsh. I get that it kind of forced a progression, but it caused me to navigate the inventory system a lot, which isn't really where I wanted to spend my time in the game.

Hold X to Focus by toasteater 2019-10-20T19:17:17Z

Really nice! I think a little more time could've been spent on the physics. I got to the end, but imo the game would've felt a lot better if there had been a max fall speed and if gravity had been a bit slower.

The Reboot of the King by chuchuw 2019-10-20T18:43:19Z

Nice slurs

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

Starship Kafka by mooncalf 2022-04-14T01:28:38Z

Haha pretty troll-y! The art is really nice. I wish the camera caught more of the screen at once, though. I know the platforming wasn't really that important, but the tight camera angle made it pretty hard to enjoy jumping around.

SLEEPWARE by Zirrrus 2022-04-05T19:59:31Z

Nice work! The art was cool, and the minigames were interesting! I think maybe you could have ramped up the challenge more ass time went on. I feel like I could have stayed asleep forever.

Who knew sleeping was so stressful?

Sir Blocksalot by jhandsy 2022-04-05T21:39:44Z

@pwnzer Ah I thought I fixed that bug! Oh well. Yeah it's a little harder than it needs to be! It was a tough game to balance cause originally it was supposed to be multiplayer.

@cryptomnesic The hammer actually has a pretty big hitbox when you drop it, so you can break blocks and fireballs. Also you can repair the castle by picking it up and dropping it over and over again. I realize that its kind of odd to represent swinging a hammer by dropping it, but it felt like a cool design choice, haha.

Duct, Duct, Goosed by ctrble 2022-04-05T19:27:18Z

Super spooky, super atmospheric! I think it would have benefited from giving the player some motivation to move around. Like... if your range of vision was an ever shrinking sphere that you had to recharge by finding batteries around the ducts. I think the threat level could have been raised, even if it was like... just by adding more than one monster.

The duct/axis thing was really neat! I think this could be explored and made into something really awesome.

Goblin Escape by PinballJunior 2022-04-05T20:09:13Z

The graphics are SO heckin cute. And this is an amazing amount of work for 2 days

NewGame+ by deianeira 2022-04-05T18:43:39Z

Nice game! I love the aesthetic. Music, art, and pressure all sync up really nicely. I think you needed to throw your players a bone a little, though. Hp drops, or shorter loops woulda done the trick. Overall really impressive! I had a great time playing it!

transaction failed by riley9 2022-04-05T23:04:13Z

Really cute and relatable! I loved it. The music was nice and chill, and the art was super cute <3 Good job!

LD51 — Every 10 seconds

Mini Dungeon Tactics by Joror 2022-10-08T20:46:26Z

There's something here for sure. My main gripes are that it feels like I should be able to repeat the same action without having to reselect it, and making the characters such big physics objects made them bump into things in a really obnoxious way. Otherwise I think this idea is brilliant.

Lavender Crush by jhandsy 2022-10-03T21:37:44Z

@woahitsjeff ah yeah sorry we're still working on it. I guess I shouldn't have published the page yet!

Eleventh Second by Jeremy Ryan 2022-10-08T19:52:59Z

Really beautiful game! It was a great touch that the background gears turn backwards when your time machine goes off.

96 beats per minute by johanhelsing 2022-10-08T19:37:38Z

Really cool mechanics! A neat kind of resource management that I could see starring in a really weird rts or something. My only gripe is that I wish there had been more danger! It took a bit to get the mechanics down, but once I did I wanted the invaders to really challenge me.

Drum Dance Showdown by cyberfrank 2022-10-08T19:12:49Z

Really fun and creative! Those ten seconds really go quickly when you're not on top of it. Love the track, too.

Clockmachine Chaos by SirMilkman 2022-10-08T18:51:27Z

Really nice game! Perfect scope for LD. The pacing at which you introduced mechanics was perfect. This might be a problem with me or how I was thinking about it, but my only note is that sometimes I would try and fail a level a bunch, then take a break and come back to it and just do it in one shot without having any idea HOW I managed to do it that time. I think level 12 was the biggest culprit for me. The one with 2 keys, a 7 and an 8.

Anyway, I loved it!

Cheat or Lose by Vetche Studio 2022-10-08T20:55:08Z

That's really silly. The crayons are ridiculous and I love it.

Sokobyo by Roroto Sic 2022-10-08T23:38:04Z

This might be my favorite entry I've played so far! It made me audibly gasp at least twice! Super cool! I think you should keep going with it!

LD57 — Depths

Hyperspacedive by marudziik 2025-04-08T22:43:21Z

super pretty visuals.

Brittle Heart by jhandsy 2025-04-08T02:15:26Z

@python-b5 Did you figure out how to catch ledges? Press space when you're near a ledge. You can do it in the air, too. You can't really navigate the game much without it. Also, jumping while you have some momentum gives you a lot more height and distance. Thank you for playing!

Brittle Heart by jhandsy 2025-04-08T02:38:53Z

@dhdorr Yeah! the camera being sluggish is a little bug that happens as a result of ledgegrabbing sometimes! We were trying to go for kind of an old-school prince of Persia feel, which is why it feels a little sluggish. We'll dial everything in as we update it! Thanks for the comment!

Brittle Heart by jhandsy 2025-04-09T03:20:18Z

@nbumgardner Thank you so much! Mysterious was exactly what we were going for.

Mousehold by NBumgardner 2025-04-08T01:09:26Z

Nice game! I love the mousetraps. The cat sound rules.

Let Me Check My Pockets! by dhdorr 2025-04-10T03:03:35Z

This is really cute!

LD41 — Combine 2 Incompatible Genres

QuickDraw TCG by CMLSC 2018-04-24T19:26:02Z

Good job! It's a whole bunch of fun and I'm a big fan of blending card games with action games! Thats what my team did too!

This game got intense fast, and I like it!

Flatformer by Nick Rafalski 2018-04-24T21:46:53Z

dude this is great! Your deckbuilding mechanic is rad, made me really want to grab those point cards. And the laser is super cool! Super great entry! The procedural generation seems really nice a varied!

I did find myself wanting to use cards mid jump a lot, but I'm not really sure how you would do that and still have the active gravity!

Keyboard Army by PeachTreeOath 2018-05-15T20:33:25Z

I'm sorry I didn't play this sooner! This game is fantastically awesome.

I love that the length of a cards name is its cost, and how much that absolutely works. There definitely wasn't quite enough time to read everything about the board state. And while I understand that like, typing time is a primary factor in determining player skill, it seems like maybe coupling that with reading the board state might be a bit too much. Perhaps separating the game into phases, where one is reading the board and another is typing. But I guess that might ruin some of the momentum.

My favorite mechanic is probably that if card names share letters in order, then you can type part of more than one card at once. I could see decks being build around cards names. Really, really cool.

Keyboard Army by PeachTreeOath 2018-05-18T17:57:03Z

@PeachTreeOath Ooooh curse cards! Thats a great idea! I think you could do a lot of cool stuff with this game.

Turn-Based Invaders from Space! by HacksawUnit 2018-04-27T16:47:26Z

Absolutely incredible! You took familiar mechanics and turned them into a difficult puzzle game! I was determined to get past an entire wave, and somehow managed too? I almost got to level 9 >-<

I think if you eased up on initial difficulty, added some other kinds of enemy units, and designed some specific puzzles in the form of alien wave compositions, you could have a really nice, full puzzle game.

Your attention to detail, like the little sounds that happen when you hover over a button, and the little stopwatch animation when it's not your turn, are really incredible and inspiring. The amount of polish here is excellent! And shooting through bullets? Super satisfying.

My only gripe is that it seems like the game is a little forgiving with the aliens changing direction. It is my personal opinion that the aliens should have to start their turn with a unit against the wall in order to move down. I believe that thet currently will move down if they ended their last turn with a unit against the wall.

Great job! Definitely one of my favorite entries!

Dragoon Drop by jhandsy 2018-04-24T17:10:54Z

@Zapturk Yeah its my favorite, too! Haha! I'm glad another Dragoon lover approves!

@Potondo Thank you so much! I'd be super interested in seeing any other TCG/Action mashups. If you find any other good ones send em my way! Now that I think about it, for this LD it'd be really cool to be able to search by 1 or more genres...

@bombjack Thanks a bunch! I'm really glad it isn't proving to be too weird for people!

@Nick-Rafalski Thanks very much! I really liked yours too! Its funny how different they are just based on how we each handled gravity! If you see any more action card games throw em my way! The one @potondo recommended is really good, too!

Thanks everyone!

@sprvrn We're thinking about working on it... it's just hard to justify taking time away from our main project right now, haha.

@ElusiveMilestone One of the things we've talked about is balancing how many cards a player has at any given time. Personally I think its cool to compare running out of cards as sort of needing a resting period, but I think we could balance a little more to speed things up.

@HacksawUnit Thanks a whole bunch! I'm a big fan of your game from this LD, too, and I was straight up OBSESSED with CardHoard last time around!

I would be really interested in any specific ideas for mechanics or tweaks if you think of any! I really admire your work!

Dragoon Drop by jhandsy 2018-04-29T18:09:59Z

Thanks a bunch everyone! I appreciate all the feedback!

@Sean-s-leblanc Thanks a bunch! I've been seeking out all the card games I can, too. I really like it as a blended genre, it turns out, haha! If you have any to recommend, I'd love to play some more! And yeah, we didn't catch that bug until after the jam, unfortunately.

@Bauxite Yeah we're kicking around ideas for speeding things up a little. You can press enter to skip your turn though, but it still feels a little sluggish.

Thanks a ton everyone! I'm really stoked about all the attention we're getting!

@davidsheadgames Yeah we definitely ran out of time thinking about how to make that more obvious. And admittedly, I occasionally play a card in the wrong direction, usually if I play it too close to the Dragoon. A dedicated play area isn't a bad idea!

As for the wording, we has an initial struggle with how to represent an adequate amount of text on the cards. Haha when I wrote attack all on climhazzard I don't really know why I didn't realize it would be incredibly misleading. We are working on our wording conventions.

@huminaboz We actually had some block cards in there in one of the first builds, but we realized that making the player dodge out of the way was more fun! At least in my opinion.

@AugusteTheClown Yeah for sure. The game gets pretty simple after you get the hang of it. We're working on adding more of a difficulty curve.

@MufinMcFlufin Thanks a whole bunch! We've definitely been talking about reliable/reusable actions and how best to do that. Trinkets/Items, possibly? We're still kicking it around.

@PeachTreeOath During the brainstorming hours I definitely thought it would be fun, but by the end of day 2 I was convinced it was going to be a disaster! We actually had to take a couple of steps back from what we had at that point to get it to a more fun place. And yeah! Unique cards are definitely going to be a priority moving forward. Stuff more like Climhazzard, which is pretty much the raddest card in the game at the moment.

Yo this is really good! You and I made kind of similar games! I like a lot of the choices you made, like distilling the combat into attacks with different ranges and movement and pushing abilities. It turned out really nicely! This is definitely one of my favorite entries I've seen!

Creep What You Sow by ctrble 2018-04-24T16:42:07Z

Nice job! I'd love to see this with some more plants that do different stuff! I kind of felt like there could have been a little more pressure from the get go. Like maybe patrolling guards that walk in a predictable pattern to make you choose your movements.

The music and the art were both nice and they gave it a nice mood!

The Call of Cthulhu - Puzzle Edition by bombjack 2018-04-24T16:14:36Z

Very smart idea! The combination of puzzle and story is really cool, and using cthulu mythos is a good way to like, make people really consider whether they SHOULD look at or manipulate things, since any of it could drive an investigator mad.

If you expand upon this idea, maybe some procedural storytelling would be an interesting addition. The blocks of text added nice flavor, but breaking them up into small story segments based on each action might make the flow nicer. Good entry!

Pretty Crowded Dungeon by sprvrn 2018-04-25T23:07:06Z

This game is really smart! Putting some instruction about life and connecting pieces to gain it back would be helpful, though! A cool expansion could be to make matching different pieces do unique things, or giving a bonus for matching more than 3 at once!

Good job!

Zip Zap by Brad Slayter 2018-04-24T18:02:31Z

mouse and keyboard controls worked fine for me! Definitely a good, fun concept. I think maybe the AI wan't quite robust enough to get past any of the traps. Could the AI place traps? After the first race it seemed like a bunch of traps spawned that I didn't place, but no one placed any after that first one.

Math Blast! by Joe Zabriskie 2018-05-10T13:47:25Z

Nice concept! Great sounds! I think maybe all of the ships and the bullets could have been a little bigger. Also a save feature or level select would have been pretty dope, cause I wanted to beat the whole thing, but I didn't want to go through levels 1-7 again.

Cat Pack by Potondo 2018-04-24T17:37:16Z

Really nice! I think you could have given a way to gain new cats, since the difficulty in herding them kind of balances itself. I think it could have started out easier, then ramped up, which would give people a little more time to get used to stuff.

Really fun and stressful, though! Good job!

Raucous Raccard by noumenus 2018-04-25T05:26:08Z

I love all the weird action card games this time around! This game is not too dissimilar to mine! I think making the movement cells larger so that there were less options spatially would ease up the difficulty a little bit. It also took me a while to realize I had to place the ticket ON the raccoon.
