Hi, your game is challenging : it is hard to remember characters from the first time. But after it's a really cool concept : avoid them. I think it could be great if there was a score or something that show your progression. Or maybe just an ending screen. Good music and death sound effect. But perhaps you could improve graphics doing some little animations (walking, end, ...). But it is good for a 48 hours game! Also, I noticed that sometimes it's impossible to escape : all the three roadways are in same time taken by "non-desired people", maybe could you do something to avoid that event takes place?

Nicely done!! So good approach to the theme. You did something completely different from others where there is some kind of planets. Nice graphics, the similarity of characters make it really hard to remember who to avoid. I've just decided to avoid everyone :D I think you could add some score that people could compare how good they are in avoiding peoples :D Well done!!
Great game! Nice idea to combine memory game with an avoid arcade style game. Works well. I like how the music adds to the anxiety of meeting people on a bad day. It would be nice with a counter on how many "friends" you have avoided. Overall nice little game that fits the theme very well. And congratulations on your first game!
interesting take on the theme, love the background music and pixel graphics. well done one your first entry :-)
Interesting little game, good job on your first ludum dare compo ! It's rated.

This was a really cool idea! I like the creative interpretation of the theme! However, I had problems remembering what the people I was supposed to avoid looked like. I also think it would be cool if there was a score counter that showed how long I avoided people or how many people I avoided. Really good, especially for a first entry!

Perhaps displaying the players to avoid while the game is going on would make it a bit easier! You'd still have the challenge of looking at them while dealing with the super fast gameplay!
I really liked you music, and the concept was really interesting! Good job!

Nice game. Here's some improvement I think of :
- Gameplay * Give visual feedback when the player collide with an opponent. * Give visual information concerning the people you have to avoid. * Give ui informations about the remaining life of the player. * Give ui informations about the progression of the game, or make the player understand that the game has no end. * Have a better procedural content generator. Consistent randomness is better than randomness. In fact, sometime the player can't avoid opponent (it feels unfair).
- Realisation * Add some musics. * Add some sfx. * Add some menus (main menu, game-over menu) * Add some animation.

Good effort for a first ludum dare game. I agree with the above commenters, music/sfx/animation would make this a lot better.
Nice work on this game. As other people said, I also liked how you did with the theme,
The little pixel persons looks good, so congratulations on those. But for the gameplay, I missed some objective for it, maybe if you included some score that increases over time, would be a nice way to make it more engaging.
Good one!

Graphics were nicely done, very solid game idea.
There is always a lot of polishing that can be done, you'll figure out as you participate more.
Adding multiple levels with increasing difficulty would have made this much more fun, where the first level you only need to remember one friend, second level another friend, etc. And then it'd be okay to randomize the friends' outfits each play-through... You could have then added a bit of humor by adding why you were avoiding this or that person.
Good work on first entry!
