TamanDua by Funambulist Cat 2021-05-11T23:24:29Z ♥ 2

I really like the art style, and the music fits the game perfectly. The gameplay itself is also quite fun despite it's simplicity, I enjoyed bouncing my tongue around and building up a massive clump of bugs. If you were to extend this it would be nice to have some more challenges - obstacles that knock some of the bugs off your tongue, for example, and maybe some powerups to collect.

I enjoyed playing, well done!

Deep Paper by axeltherabbit 2021-05-11T22:56:37Z ♥ 1

I liked the paper graphics, really cool and innovative idea. Unfortunately it was difficult to shoot the enemies because your ship blocks the view. I managed to make it to the Catkren, but had to give up since I kept getting killed by off screen enemies. It would be interesting to see a game with this graphics style if you had more time to develop and polish the gameplay, nice job!

ARTerial (the AI-generated art museum) by MEGA Marlon 2021-05-09T22:04:29Z ♥ 1

Very cool concept, I love the idea of using a neural network to generate paintings for the game. Its definitely easy to get lost in the maze of rooms, though still tempting to just explore deeper to look for interesting paintings. I did encounter a slight bug at the end where one large painting overlapped the last two spots and counted for both - managed to get a B+ though. If you were to expand the game, I think it would be interesting to have networks that generated paintings of different styles/subjects in different rooms. Well done!

Fathom Commander by Adam Martin 2021-05-08T21:28:06Z ♥ 1

Cool game, it was fun having to manage the crew and the energy for each system. It took me a couple of tries to figure things out and defeat the first encounter (leaving one poor crew member alive to pilot the submarine by himself), but after that I enjoyed building up a crew and exploring the depths - I made it down 11.5km before running out of hull strength and exploding. One critique is that the zoom in to the front when in combat was annoying when I wanted to move someone from the back of the ship onto torpedoes. Overall I enjoyed playing, good job!

Chloe's Inner Demons by gabryelamartins 2021-05-08T20:56:13Z ♥ 2

Really nicely done narrative game. The game does a great job establishing a mood and supporting it with the graphics and music. The mini games were well done too and fit nicely into the story. The writing could use some editing to fix spelling/grammar mistakes, but it wasn't a big issue. I enjoyed playing, great job!

Deeper Bros. Digital Computer by Adam Selker 2021-04-29T04:57:21Z ♥ 1

Fun game, reminds me of TIS-100. I'll have to come back to it to try more of the levels, and optimize my solutions. Great job!

Depths of Fear by Evannex 2021-04-29T03:56:04Z ♥ 1

Enjoyable game, well done on the mood of diving into the creepy depths. Some of the enemies are quite difficult to avoid if you accidentally swim into a corner. Unfortunately after dying a couple times they stopped attacking, though I was then able to dive deep enough to get the attack - I only wish the enemies were still active to make killing them more satisfying!

7 DEEPS by ardorugus 2021-04-29T03:28:14Z ♥ 2

Interesting game, though a bit confusing - the choices felt like they were mostly trial and error. It was enjoyable trying to make progress though, must go deeper!

Mine Rescue VR by Szymski 2021-04-29T00:14:24Z ♥ 1

Wow, very nice, cool to see a VR game in the jam. It was fun exploring the mines while constantly worrying about running out of oxygen. I had some close calls - desperately pushing rocks out of the way to get to some oxygen. It would have been nice to have a bit of feedback on if a level was complete - though I suppose not knowing how many miners might be there adds to the mood.

Deep BO-12 by themorfeus 2021-04-28T23:43:01Z ♥ 1

Very nice, the sonar effect is great. Grappling around was fun, though it was sometimes hard to get where I was actually trying to go. As others mentioned the ammo capacity is a bit low - I wanted to destroy swarms of dino heads but had to spend most of the time trying to get more ammo. Impressive game overall though, great job!

Deep Asleep by Sestren 2021-04-28T23:15:06Z ♥ 1

I enjoyed the graphical style you used. Well done, but it would have been nice to see the theme come into play a bit more. The most important feature was there though: petting the cat!

LD46 — Keep it alive (31)

Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep by maskinmask 2020-05-12T06:34:50Z ♥ 1

Fun little puzzle game, fairly easy but I think it could be expanded with a few more mechanics. The graphics are basic but it's clear what's going on, only thing I didn't realize at first was that you couldn't attach two links to the same node. You might also need a way to "fast forward" the dots if you were to expand it with bigger levels.

Well done!

Save the torch! by eduardogacn 2020-05-12T06:15:37Z ♥ 1

Fun game, I liked the challenge of using the flame as a weapon while having to be fast enough to not let it go out. The game was a bit too difficult (I played the jam version), there's not much time to avoid getting hit by the stronger enemies before your flame dies - though restarting from the current level would be a big help there. I like the overall mechanic though, good job!

Danger in the City by Fififox 2020-05-12T05:15:37Z ♥ 1

Really like the aesthetics, and it was fun driving around as buildings crumble around you. The boulders are a bit random, so sometimes I was able to drive most of the way out of the city with no problem and other times a wall of boulders would spawn right above me and crush my car. The controls also took a bit of time to get used to, but eventually I managed to escape the city.

Good job!

The last of its kind by puppetmaster 2020-05-12T04:53:14Z ♥ 0

Nice simple game, it felt very polished with the mix of story and gameplay segments with nice transitions between them. Great musics, and nice graphics too. The collision boxes felt a bit too big in the second level and didn't quite match the visuals, and the controls could be a bit more crisp, but overall I enjoyed playing.

Last journey in the sand by squirrelsoft 2020-05-12T04:00:57Z ♥ 1

Seems like a nice start, I like the graphics but the gameplay is pretty limited. I think the biggest issue is the delay between turns - it took a minute before I even realized that I was waiting for each AI unit to move. Combining/speeding up the AI turns or adding more to do in each player turn would help a lot. I was eventually able to collect some resources from a building and give them to my camel, I think this could be an interesting game you develop it further!

You are on the wrong path! by KptnHolz 2020-05-12T03:41:53Z ♥ 1

Cool concept, it took me a while to figure out what to do but eventually I was racing around the factory, trying not to fly off to my death, to make it to the end without being destroyed. I tried pushing other chicks to the right conveyor belt to be saved, but wasn't very successful - it would be fun if it was a bit easier to redirect them, even if that means you end up flinging some of them off the edge.

Alien Medicine by PIPS 2020-05-12T03:22:25Z ♥ 0

Interesting little shooter, I managed to win on my second attempt after not realizing the green tiles did continuous damage and weren't just obstacles. It is a bit easy once you figure it out though, more enemies and abilities would be nice, but of course it's a jam game so there's limited time to add content. Well done!

ORB by blaster391 2020-05-12T02:49:53Z ♥ 1

Enjoyed this game, the graphics are great - amazing lighting! It was fun finding a balance between building up defenses and saving up for once I had to move on to some new crystals to keep my orb alive. I was mostly holding onto the orb because I wanted to buy defenses, so I may have missed out on some options for throwing around rocks - there's a lot going on. Good game overall!

The Puzzle Of The Fantastic Fungus by Jahwffrey 2020-05-12T02:29:49Z ♥ 1

It's fun playing around with the different materials and seeing their effects on the fungus. I managed to survive for around 3 minutes leading a small growth of fungus around the area and blocking off stuff behind it, I may have to come back to it and see if I can survive the full 5 minutes (I probably need to place materials more aggressively). Overall I enjoyed it, a fun take on this type of game.

Chronocipher by Instafluff 2020-05-11T23:32:46Z ♥ 4

Wow, incredibly polished - you even have voice acting! I liked the idea of decrypting clues to solve each part of the mystery, it was fun to puzzle through it. It would have been fun if the decryption required a bit more thought, instead of just having to find the right button for each clue, but it's already really well done for a jam game. Another suggestion would be to require multiple clues to narrow down the suspect and weapon, and an incentive to figure out the answer from some of the less direct clues.

Overall really well done, great game!

Shooty Moony by flyingbear 2020-05-11T22:57:44Z ♥ 1

Great game, it's fun trying to set up good shots that get multiple enemies and knock them into coins. The beginning levels are a bit too slow though, especially since you have to replay them each time as you get enough money to buy the upgrades. The overall gameplay is great though once you get a few levels in with some upgrades, well done!

Bones to the Party by HALPCat 2020-05-11T22:32:49Z ♥ 1

Cool concept, I love the dancing skeleton. I do think the arrow key prompts would be better near the middle of the screen though, I kept having to look away from the action so I could dance.

Bab by Bamboy 2020-05-11T22:19:48Z ♥ 1

That baby really wanted to play with the bleach! Too bad you didn't have time to add a fail state, but it was fun to play around with. Nice job!

Guardian by fashionbatman 2020-05-11T22:04:52Z ♥ 1

Fun little game! I thought the combined shield direction and movement would feel clunky, but it actually worked pretty well once I got used to it. Great job!

Highlights by Emiliabea 2020-05-11T08:01:55Z ♥ 1

Well done, this was a great take on the theme. The writing is good (but a few lines are cut off), I enjoyed playing through each conversation. The ending with Grandpa is a very nice conclusion to the game.

PHYSICTORIA THE ULTIMATE BATTLE ARENA by simex 2020-05-11T07:31:46Z ♥ 1

Hilarious! I made some sort of hurricane of limbs which battled it's way through the gladiator arena to become champion. It did become a bit tricky a couple levels in to find where I could add more body parts, and I would have liked to see my gladiator's ridiculous limbs swinging around in battle without them all merging into a mess of flying body parts, but overall this game is perfectly ridiculous.

Keep the Fire Alive by stmatn 2020-05-11T07:08:46Z ♥ 1

Cool game, I enjoyed building up a base. It took me a couple minutes to figure out what everything did, but once I got it I was able to get a nice little mine network going and start expanding. It would be nice if it was more clear what the propellers do, I wasn't sure if each one had some effect or if I just needed to build some unknown number of them.

Enjoyed the game overall, great job!

Hellianthus by Maryush28 2020-05-11T06:49:13Z ♥ 0

Really liked the art! The platforming needs some work though, and I wasn't entirely sure if I was accomplishing anything - I think I got some water vapor to the pipe once, but I'm not sure if it did anything to keep the sunflower alive.

CaveFlame by Pretzol 2020-05-11T03:22:20Z ♥ 1

Great mood, you made a nice horror game. The gameplay is a bit confusing, I kept the fire going and managed to scare away the monster once in the pipe room, but wasn't sure how to deal with it when it was somewhere else I needed to go. Good job overall!

Trumpet-chan's Dungeon by Narwaffles 2020-05-11T03:05:01Z ♥ 1

I like how you can run around playing songs on the trumpet! The controls are a bit confusing though, and the game is a bit too dark when not carrying a torch.

Gloubik by Bryoche 2020-05-11T02:32:31Z ♥ 0

Nice game, I liked the graphics. Congrats on your first jam! The time between waves was a bit long though since there wasn't anything to do during it (maybe you could use that time to buy upgrades?).

Castaway:A Spark of Hope by HeliturtleOP 2020-05-11T02:16:17Z ♥ 0

Cool game, I like the graphics! It would be nice if there was a way to tell how much time is left on the fire while exploring, it went out a couple times while I was gathering wood.

Ruins of Waste by Arinyl 2020-05-11T02:06:30Z ♥ 1

Nice job on your first game! I like the concept of keeping the ruins clean to let nature return and bring the stone creatures to life. I built an arch out of track at first before looking at the comments and realizing that I needed to go full screen to see the trash can.

Duck Tails by guladam 2020-05-10T23:42:13Z ♥ 1

Great game, really cute! Nice graphics and sounds too. Only real issue is the box physics, sometimes they get stuck and sometimes they get pushed right over the hole. Great job overall!

Sim Cell by Archimagus 2020-05-10T23:14:22Z ♥ 1

Cool concept, I liked the idea of keeping a cell alive. It would have been nice if the game was a bit more clear on what you need to do though, I ended up just building some of each component. I like the educational aspect too, though it would be nice to have it integrated directly into the game since clicking the Wikipedia links reset progress.

Negative Zone by Phoenix Fireflower 2020-05-10T22:52:44Z ♥ 1

Fun puzzle game, some good challenges in there! I didn't really feel there was much use of the theme though, the food just felt like an arbitrary required collectable. I did manage to complete the game and enjoyed it, good job!

The Last Lighthouse by magus24 2020-05-10T21:55:56Z ♥ 1

Nice game! Physics are a bit weird and let you jump up walls sometimes, but it works. Great mood for your use of the theme of keeping the last light alive.

Crystal Tag by uvwar 2020-05-10T21:29:04Z ♥ 1

Cool concept, though it's not very clear what's going on without reading the description. It could be interesting to see this idea expanded into something with a bit more player interaction.

Juggle Jungle by shaulor 2020-05-10T21:18:44Z ♥ 1

Fun game, tossing the egg over obstacles to keep it from breaking was a nice mechanic. I did get stuck at the same spot as some of the previous commenters, maybe I needed a gamepad to better control my speed? I enjoyed everything I was able to complete though!

Undead Car by M2tias 2020-05-10T21:04:26Z ♥ 1

Walked into a building and zombies ate my brain! I suppose that's what I get for buying a car that can only go 2 blocks on a full tank of gas. Nice game!

ViolAnts 2: For Queen and Colony by Prakkus 2020-05-10T20:48:15Z ♥ 3

Fun little RTS game! Took me a couple tries to win, I think the enemy base wasn't resetting properly when clicking retry. Could have used some better camera controls though, I missed out on seeing my ant army destroy the enemy.

LD41 — Combine 2 Incompatible Genres (11)

Learn Math With Flappy Bee by nusan 2018-05-13T21:34:21Z ♥ 1

That was fun! The second last level took me a while, I figured out the main trick and was close to the solution pretty quickly but I think I missed something and ended up with a messy solution in the end.

Great job!

Infinitris by gatinmnsok 2018-04-30T23:54:07Z ♥ 0

Interesting combination of tetris with a side scroller, though I was confused at first that blocks could pass through the ground. It was also a bit frustrating after placing a set of blocks that I couldn't switch to the next set and start placing them.

Very cool concept, just needs some polish, and could maybe use some more interesting puzzles than just moving the blocks to fill the holes.

The Ultimate Magic Duelling Tournament VR by gyfis 2018-04-30T23:34:41Z ♥ 0

Cool simple VR game! The shape detection could use some work though, I often had trouble getting it to recognize the intended shape before getting hit - a triangle that ended up slightly angled wouldn't be recognized, or a diamond would be recognized as a circle. I eventually found just spamming water attacks was the best way to raise my score.

Still, making a VR game for a jam is impressive, great job!

Motorhell by Shelvid 2018-04-30T22:59:43Z ♥ 1

Cool game with an awesome concept. It would be nice to have some feedback when you hit enemies / get hit though, and sometimes you spawn and immediately die / lose most of your health to the blue enemies.

Good job!

The Last Word by adsilcott 2018-04-26T05:35:53Z ♥ 2

Cool game, I really liked the art and enjoyed the story. The transitions from the RTS section to the visual novel parts did feel a bit abrupt, especially at first when it seemed several were triggered in quick succession. It also would have been fun to have a few more choices in the visual novel sections with noticeable effects on the RTS.

Overall though, great job!

13d shooter by kkrac 2018-04-25T04:13:03Z ♥ 1

Cool game, nice death animations, I liked how you managed to combine an fps with a 2d platformer. One thing I noticed is that while you can move left and right with WASD, you can only jump with the up arrow key.

Logicatory by zgragselus 2018-04-25T03:51:14Z ♥ 2

Cool game, as another commenter said it definitely has a bit of a Half-Life feel to it. It would be nice if there was a bit more feedback when you get shot, I died to a knocked over turret before I realized what was happening. Nice job!

Oh, and I only fell through the floor once :P

Speed Card by DanielM 2018-04-25T03:23:04Z ♥ 1

Cool game, I like that even the draft portion is real time even though it makes it harder to figure out what's going on at first.

Incompatible Rally by Wassim 2018-04-25T00:21:51Z ♥ 2

Nice game, the controls felt a bit odd but maybe that's just the result of platformer type controls in a racing game. It would be fun if the platforming was extended a bit more beyond just a racing track with gaps to jump over, but good job overall.

Dungeon Exploder by wizard sino 2018-04-24T23:59:36Z ♥ 1

Nice game, cute and funny. I liked the use of the theme to create the absurd situation of a spaceship in a dungeon. It really could use checkpoints though, I wanted to hear more of the dialog but replaying the first couple floors gets repetitive.

Monster Beat by neonian 2018-04-24T22:28:08Z ♥ 0

Fun game, if you lose your rhythm between turns things can go quite bad! It would be nice to have a bit more depth to the turned based strategy part instead of just move / attack, such as a ranged attack for the archer.

LD40 — The more you have, the worse it is (17)

Avoider by Linus 2017-12-23T21:20:10Z ♥ 1

Cool game, I used a similar mechanic but this game plays very differently. The controls could use some work though, several times I ended up turning more quickly than expected and going in the wrong direction which caused me problems in later.

Dungeon Dealer by ponywolf 2017-12-23T20:38:28Z ♥ 2

Really cool concept, and it was fun to play. I think the game could use a bit more complexity, after getting used the mechanics there weren't many difficult decisions on how to reorder the cards - but I think there is a lot of potential there. Maybe there could be different effects when you get hit by each monster type?

ARCADE OVERFLOW by Remco 2017-12-18T23:11:28Z ♥ 2

Really cool game, it was fun to play and the whole thing felt nicely polished. I managed to make it through without any game overs, though I was worried near the end when the pacman game spawned me in a spot cornered by a ghost, though fortunately it turned around before reaching me. It would be nice if the score in each of the games was tracked - or maybe it could be used as an extra lives mechanic, where clearing the pacman field / clearing some number of tetris rows / etc. allows you to continue after a game over. It would also be cool to have a full speed replay of the games at the end.

Overall great game, really well done!

Crystalien: Mega Blastar by Gurbx 2017-12-18T22:32:15Z ♥ 2

Very nice graphics, the lighting and all the particles were great. Game was fun too, I haven't tried the post jam version yet but it sounds like it would help it stay fun for longer. I was briefly confused at first as to which end was the front of the tank, but because you never really stop moving it didn't end up being an issue.

Brick Racer by nekoballs 2017-12-18T22:08:12Z ♥ 1

Simple, but very fun game. The gameplay of having to balance going fast and not dying was good, I think the addition of a good soundtrack would really make the game great.

Downgrade VR (+Desktop) by ilijabc 2017-12-11T07:43:43Z ♥ 0

That was fun, enjoyed dodging around a swarm of bullets while shooting enemies. Nice to get to play a VR game from the jam! The restore points were a bit confusing, it wasn't really clear what the numbers meant and how I was affecting things by spending them.

Rattletrap VR by _for_science 2017-12-11T07:19:42Z ♥ 3

Impressively polished VR game for a jam, was lots of fun running around shooting bots and keeping the ship from breaking down. I didn't have enough space for roomscale, but the artificial locomotion worked well and I was able to survive for quite a while. Great game!

Bright Vision by crazyrems 2017-12-11T07:03:47Z ♥ 2

That was an interesting little game, cool seeing a VR game in the compo. The blinking cubes took me a little bit to figure out, at first I thought they were just disappearing because I looked at them. Overall, though the gameplay was simple, I liked the atmosphere and it was an enjoyable experience!

Barnacle Dash by Philippe 2017-12-09T22:56:05Z ♥ 1

Nice simple game. Making it to the end is maybe a bit too dependent on getting lucky barnacle / rock positioning.

ARTIFACTS by Fran Segura 2017-12-09T22:05:33Z ♥ 1

Very nice art and sound! It took a while for me to realize how important jumping at the end of a grapple was, but the controls felt good once I figured it out. Fall damage is a bit annoying, not sure it adds much to the game.

The Dark Castle by Joror 2017-12-09T21:21:09Z ♥ 1

Really good game, I had fun exploring various paths - really impressed with how many options there are to discover for a jam game. I think I'll come back to this later and try to get more endings!

Justify the Means by Goat Toaster Games 2017-12-07T05:32:28Z ♥ 1

Very nice graphics! It would have been nice to see more of a focus on balancing how much magic you have to better fit the theme, but overall I enjoyed playing.

BufferMAN: Hack 80's style! by Akryllax 2017-12-06T20:38:31Z ♥ 0

The graphics are nice, the controls could use some work - jumping felt inconsistent with regards to how far you jump. I also didn't notice the penalty for actions.

Mr. Capital! by fluidvolt 2017-12-06T19:44:04Z ♥ 1

The coin mechanic is a very good use of the theme! As others have mentioned it would be nice if the platforming was a bit more forgiving, it's very easy to fall off and have to restart the level.

The More You Snow by Evan Polekoff 2017-12-06T06:08:35Z ♥ 0

Who knew rolling a snowball through lava could be so useful? Fun game, I liked the dynamic snowball growth/destruction.

Cohesion by alottabit 2017-12-06T05:08:15Z ♥ 0

Fun game, and feels very polished. That last level was tricky, took me a while to get it!

Dr. Stress - LD40 Jam Entry - Submission Post by basti 2017-12-06T04:38:00Z ♥ 1

Cool concept, would be fun if there was more of a need to remember multiple patient sheets at once so that you have to worry more that you chose the wrong equipment while playing through a minigame.

LD38 — A Small World (74)

Super Collapse Guy by crazi456 2017-05-19T07:01:38Z ♥ 1

Really cool! Reminds me of both Fez and another game jam game from a while back called perspective. I did find it a bit difficult to tell exactly how the collapse would work (i.e where the platforms would be on the screen), but it was never a big enough issue to impact my enjoyment of the game!

Space Race by feips 2017-05-18T00:10:04Z ♥ 1

This was really cool. I loved the graphics. I've seen lots of small planet platforms, but this one feels pretty unique to play. I found the game fairly difficult, which is fine, but I think a lot of that difficulty was the result of not knowing where I was going and having issues with the controls. It might be easier to fly if the mouse was used to control the direction of the astronauts. I also think the game would benefit form a tutorial.

Overall really great!

Blobbery by Odefus 2017-05-17T23:59:53Z ♥ 1

This was pretty interesting. I liked the music and the graphics, but it didn't control very well. I think the hold-to-jump was a bit problematic as it made fine movement very difficult. It also made avoiding the spiky guys a bit of a chore.

The Village Helpers by Z4F1 2017-05-17T23:53:39Z ♥ 1

This was pretty cool. It would be a major improvement if there was audio and visual feedback when collecting resources (like a sound effect when you hit a piece of rock).

Mini Shaders by bestnickname 2017-05-15T19:58:01Z ♥ 1

This is awesome! I love zachtronics games (we made a zach-like too...) and this was a really cool twist to their formula. It took me a while to figure out that all the variables were lower case since the font only has upper-case letters. It would save some frustration if the variables could be upper or lower case. I thought the music and the art fit really well (though I think the scanning lines looked a bit odd when they went underneath the output area, but that's just a nitpick). I think some of the initial confusion could be mitigated by having a help screen that can fit more words. It also took me longer than I'd like to admit to grasp the way comparisons worked. Something like the +/- system in Shenzen I/O would probably make that a bit easier to understand.

I also liked the score screen at the end: I got 3,3,5,6,5. I'll probably comeback later and come up with better some better solutions.

Overall really great!

Extension by Pixetrichor 2017-05-08T17:19:37Z ♥ 1

This is a cool idea, but I couldn't get past the second puzzle. The game opens in a really tiny window for me (it can't be more than 320x240) and I can barely make out the letters on the little card on the ground. I tried the puzzle for quite a bit of time, and I wasn't able to get past it. It might just be me missing something really obvious though... I'm not sure.

Petri World by raincole 2017-05-07T22:26:22Z ♥ 0

This was pretty cool. I liked the cell splitting animation a lot. I think it would be more interesting if there was a bit more depth to the simulation and/or if it was developed into a game of some sort.

Planet Ravagers by Ted125 2017-05-06T23:00:13Z ♥ 0

The sprite work was nice. I think the game could benefit from more variation in mechanics. Maybe you could add some new weapon or enemies.

Fast & Faeries by andyman404 2017-05-05T01:54:35Z ♥ 1

I really liked the way the forest looked. The jumping mechanic was cool, but I wish there was more strategy other than just "jump all the time."

Game Prototype by zwrawr 2017-05-05T01:43:05Z ♥ 2

There were some cool things here. I liked the really big aliens that attacked. It added some nice variation. I think the most obvious avenue for improvement is with sound effects and then maybe some different types of ammo.

I really liked this. Seeing the world get get tethered and pulled back to the goal is super satisfying. This might be cool on mobile.

For The Love Of Money by KunoNoOni 2017-05-03T22:54:35Z ♥ 0

At first I thought the controls were a bit floaty, but the more I played the more I appreciated how consistent they were. I enjoyed this game a lot.

Solar Wind by flusap 2017-05-03T22:49:00Z ♥ 1

This was super cool. I enjoyed just flying around and seeing all the different planets. I found the physics a bit confusing though. I don't know if it was because of bugs or if I was just having trouble understanding it.

Shrinking Planet by Brackeys 2017-05-03T21:01:02Z ♥ 0

Very entertaining! I really like the shader work. The way that the motion blur interacts with your grass shader just looks very nice.

Meetup by sofibab 2017-05-03T20:56:41Z ♥ 1

This was a really cool idea! I like the creative interpretation of the theme! However, I had problems remembering what the people I was supposed to avoid looked like. I also think it would be cool if there was a score counter that showed how long I avoided people or how many people I avoided. Really good, especially for a first entry!

Song of Fungus by DGSpitzer 2017-05-03T19:01:38Z ♥ 2

The audio and visuals come together really nicely. The difficulty curve seems pretty good and the puzzles actually require some critical thought. I liked it a lot.

Jetpackman VS Bouncy World by r8berto 2017-05-03T16:41:34Z ♥ 3

This is really original. It's very different than anything I've played. It's really satisfying to jet pack up really high and kill an enemy. I think it would be a bit more challenging if the jet packhad limited flying time though. Overall very fun!

Space Raiders by Smeax 2017-05-03T16:28:00Z ♥ 3

I really like the art and lighting! I kept falling in the heart pit and getting stuck though... (I assume there's a way out but I couldn't figure it out). I also think cutting down trees could use more audio/visual feedback when you right click.

Super Small-io World! by micahcowan 2017-05-03T04:18:03Z ♥ 1

Pretty fun. The fastest enemy was a little frustrating when it would come from off screen and instantly kill me. It might've been better to have more enemies that were a bit easier more carefully placed. I still found the game enjoyable though!

Mind's Eye by Kosmo 2017-05-02T17:57:12Z ♥ 1

I actually think this a really cool interpretation of the theme! I thought the game was pretty fun, but at first (since you only have one action) it was difficult to understand the difference between the heavy and light attacks. I also had some issues with the controls, but that's probably me just being a slow learner (kept accidentally hitting space). It might be better if you added a "confirm" button before each turn.

Colonial Kart World by adamalexander 2017-05-02T17:31:34Z ♥ 1

This was really cool! I think it's great how well the game and the title mesh, considering the random title generation.I enjoyed the game but found aiming to be a bit difficult (I never really felt like I knew where exactly my shot would land).

Asymmetry by ChuiGum 2017-05-02T03:02:44Z ♥ 2

I really liked the way that the music slowed down when time slowed down. I'm still not sure exactly how you get the ability when you press space (it seems like you have to visit all the colors first or something). I guess I don't really have any ideas for what to add... the game feels pretty complete to me.

Monolith by samlo 2017-05-02T02:36:08Z ♥ 2

Higher Ground by LandoSystems 2017-05-02T01:14:08Z ♥ 1

Microchip IO by ping78 2017-05-01T23:54:13Z ♥ 1

This is pretty cool. I really like the idea of a digital logic puzzle game! The 3D graphics look really cool, but I think they end up making gameplay a bit clunky. It can be difficult to actually delete a wire once it's been placed.

Techium Eclipse by Kenney 2017-05-01T23:47:36Z ♥ 0

I really liked the art. The game play got pretty frantic as time went on, which was pretty fun.

RASHLANDER by ryguydavis 2017-05-01T23:30:58Z ♥ 1

This is actually fantastic. One of my favorites so far! The controls feel just right and the physics are really fun. The graphics are great as well. The sound of exploding was really grating though. It'd be better if it was a bit less harsh. I absolutely loved this game though! (I also really liked the difficulty, but I wish that when I died I started over from the level I died in instead of level 1).

The Shrinkifier by pfeyffer 2017-05-01T23:12:58Z ♥ 0

I liked the art and the concept, but I had a hard time understanding the rotation mechanic. It seems like the amount of rotation is sorta random, which was a bit frustrating. I liked the idea of the one time use modifiers though.

Until Tomorrow by MSiddeek 2017-05-01T23:06:58Z ♥ 3

This is really great. The story sucked me in and kept me playing until the end. The puzzles were really well done. The graphics and music really served the theme too.

The one complaint I have is the controls - I found it a bit annoying that my character moved when I released the key as opposed to when I press it. It made it feel like there was input lag.

Great game overall!

Hibernaculum by redpanda 2017-05-01T21:56:01Z ♥ 1

I thought this was really cool. I like the idea behind the movement, but I had a hard time with it. There were a lot of places that I thought I could move to, only to find that I couldn't. The reverse was also true, there were places I thought I couldn't go to that I could. This ended up making traversal feel a bit inconsistent and hampered the experience a bit. The art and music were great though. Overall very good.

A View from Above by OfficialCodeNMore 2017-05-01T21:51:24Z ♥ 2

Little Fortune Planet by Flaterectomy 2017-05-01T21:42:06Z ♥ 3

Awesome! The cards are hilarious and well drawn, and the sandbox game play is surprisingly fleshed out. Reminds me of the powder game from way back.

Abaddon by Geckoo1337 2017-05-01T21:23:41Z ♥ 1

This played really well. I think it could benefit from a bit more variety in enemies to encourage choosing targets while strafing. I found the game to be quite challenging, which is cool.

Routine by Breno_M 2017-05-01T21:11:12Z ♥ 1

This is a cool concept and I really like the art style. I found waiting for the days to pass a little tedious though. The music was simple, but I think it served it's purpose well and established a good tone.

The Glass Marble Tour by icecheetah 2017-05-01T20:58:11Z ♥ 1

The story was really cute... Overall I really liked it. I think it could benefit from more interactive mechanics that serve the story though. I do think the mechanics that were there were goods ideas (like being able to choose to go to Scotland or not, or the second level controlling two characters). The simple art style was also really nice.

MagiSEED by Vivoubos 2017-05-01T20:34:14Z ♥ 2

This was really cool. I liked that there were a variety of mechanics - it kept it interesting. I think the boss was a bit hard though. I also think the physics could use a little bit of work... it didn't quite feel "right." Overall really great work!

Little Remains by nilead 2017-05-01T20:25:09Z ♥ 2

I really loved the watercolor art style! It's really impressive that you finished this in only 72 hours. Like the others, I think the scene transitions could use a little work. I also swear that the yellow pig was off-screen.

Blackhole Escape INC by teekeks 2017-05-01T20:04:21Z ♥ 0

Cool game! It's impressive that you were able to do this in your own engine! I think it would've benefited a lot from better controls and a better gui, though. I think you should move in the direction you are pressing, not the direction you are looking (like a twin stick shooter). A dedicated inventory button and a more organized inventory screen would've also helped.

World of Echoes by multiplexor 2017-05-01T19:56:54Z ♥ 1

The time travel mechanic is really cool. The puzzles were actually really challenging! Also, is the multiplayer real-time? Or were the other players I saw recordings? Either way, it was really surprising to see other people pop up in the game! Great job!

Your Planet: Too Big by Scriptorum 2017-05-01T19:42:43Z ♥ 1

This was fun! I actually found it pretty challenging, which was good! Sometimes it was a bit difficult to figure out how my change was going to effect the shape of the planet overall, however. I'm not sure how you could solve this, but I think it would make losing a level a bit more fair.

Commander's Log by smbe19 2017-05-01T19:36:03Z ♥ 1

Awesome game! I accidentally killed a few astronauts before realizing water was important... Reminds me of dwarf-fortress and FTL. I noticed some issues with the responsiveness of the GUI though. Sometimes it seemed like I need to click a button multiple times for it to register in the shipment screen.

Mallows World Adventure by geeitsomelaldy 2017-05-01T19:25:07Z ♥ 1

Very cool. I like the music and I think the interpretation of the theme is actually pretty unique. I accidentally dropped the snorkel underwater though. I couldn't pick it up again before dying. It would be cool if your inventory was reloaded when you die.

Pod2000 by nidup 2017-05-01T18:59:46Z ♥ 5

The sound effects are awesome! I love the idea too! It reminded me of Duskers. I had a really good time playing through the game. I do wish it was a little more clear where modules should be built. I explored all the areas first, and then just built modules via trial and error.

Gantan Guardian by lurumdurum 2017-05-01T16:40:36Z ♥ 1

This was awesome! I loved the how the differences from my weapons and the enemy weapons forced me to split my focus. I also really liked the screen vibration effect, although it got a little ridiculous with lots of enemies on the screen.

Morlandia by Lino 2017-05-01T16:29:25Z ♥ 0

This was really cool! Like previous commentators, I think it would be cool if there was something to do other than move around. The flavor text did make for an enjoyable experience. I did notice some bugs regarding extra spaces at the beginning and end of commands. If you trim the string before trying interpreting it they wouldn't be a problem.

Universal Journey by mundell 2017-05-01T16:21:30Z ♥ 2

This was a really cool idea. Definitely pretty different than anything I've seen so far. I really liked the simple art style and the particle effects after collisions. I did have a few problems where the prediction line didn't actually represent my motion. I'm not sure if that's a bug, or the result of the planet losing mass when I fire a nuke.

Icarus Isolation by King Kujito 2017-05-01T16:13:32Z ♥ 1

Really nice looking graphics! It seems like it's a common comment, but I had a really hard time with the controls. It might have been a bit easier if the left and right arrows rotated the character like A and D do. That would let you control your angle during flight with one hand. I also had a hard time collecting some of the crystals (I would just fly right through them).

Aliens vs Rng by Valicitor 2017-05-01T16:05:08Z ♥ 2

I really like the art style. I love how each planet and alien race looks different. I think the concept is really cool too, and I had a good time playing it. I did encounter some bugs (I think). For example, I got the same "a caste system has been established" event probably 6 or 7 times in a row. A little bit later, no matter what the event was I always got the everyone dies result from the world war event.

Blocknauts! by EndlessPlumber 2017-05-01T06:02:33Z ♥ 1

Great game! I played the Jam version and the camera controls were pretty problematic for me, especially when changing between space and a planet's surface. It seems like you've already fixed that in the post-Jam version though. I really enjoyed building up the rocket.

A World In Her Eye by OrbitalBlueprint 2017-05-01T05:54:58Z ♥ 1

I really liked the art, especially in the planet changing scene. The time limit is a cool idea, but it was a little frustrating the first time through when I had to restart because I didn't realize time passed. I also loved the audio (like the way that the robot had different sounds than the normal text). Overall really cool!

Snowed In by Dezzles 2017-05-01T05:21:05Z ♥ 2

This is fantastic. "'F** off', Collin hinted." The graphics and voice acting were great, especially considering the time constraints. It's a good sign when the only thing I want from the game is for it to be longer (not to say I didn't love the ending).

liftoff by Remco 2017-05-01T05:06:19Z ♥ 1

I enjoyed flying between planets! The trading system is cool, but I did have some problems with the inventory menu. It wasn't always obvious how much I could buy from a planet. It might be better if there were separate rows for buying/selling and the ship inventory. Overall really cool though!

Micro-World Defense by SaxOps1 2017-05-01T05:03:59Z ♥ 5

Fun, and really hard. Although I did realize that just spinning around and constantly firing was the best strategy, which made it a a fair amount easier. My best score was 1756 (I think).

Crater Creator by navot 2017-05-01T04:55:12Z ♥ 2

This game was super great! It was also really hard. It might be a bit more manageable if there was a more consistent way to push asteroids. It might have benefited from some music, also.

Overall is super fun. I loved the way the planet grew at the place where the asteroid hit it... I had a fun time ignoring the objective and trying to make tall mountains...

Polyorbis by Matthew Albrecht 2017-05-01T04:33:19Z ♥ 1

The game was pretty cool (especially the art)! My biggest gripe is that there's no visual indication of the direction I'm facing. I also accidentally clicked off the window several times, which caused the game to close, which is a bit unfortunate.

Deja Vu by jdmazz 2017-05-01T03:57:13Z ♥ 2

I had a fun time with this! I really liked the sprite work. I do wish there was some way to see which people I had already met (I often lost track). It would be cool if the timer didn't start until I started moving, also. When I got to a new level it sometimes took me a few seconds to get my bearings.

Small World War by simex 2017-05-01T03:46:54Z ♥ 0

Cool concept. For the most part I thought the execution was really good too. I wasn't able to figure out the point of upgrading the sandbags or buying machine gun nests though. I also had some technical issues that made the experience a little rough, like getting shot through walls.

Suds of War by James Dunlap 2017-04-25T18:12:03Z ♥ 3

I really love the fog of war effect! I did have some performance problems on the web version, though. It also seems like the audio sometimes plays multiple times instead of just once when a ship moves.
