For me the time between the waves is a bit too long. But the game is fun (:

The art was stunning and the difficulty curve was well done, but for me the real killer was no audio. I really enjoyed this one but even some simple sound effects would've livened it up quite a bit. All in all though it was well done. Nice work!

PS: I managed to get to level 3 wave 3.

If you have barley done game-development and still managed to complete a Ludum Dare then you should be very proud of yourself! It is a really good start, the core of the game is very solid (I encountered no bugs) and you follow the theme to a T. Audio would obliviously have been nice, but it is not needed as you can just make pew pew sounds yourself ;D

Great job!!!

The game is very simple. Sprites are really cool. My suggestion is to make stars in the background rotating. And it would be cool to have some audio :) Anyway, good job!

I liked the art, but it really could've used some audio.

The art style is beatiful and the gameplay is fun :) would be better if you use sound effects and maybe some particles.

Well done!

Omg! thanks for every single comment, sorry for taking so long to respond, life took its toll.

There is a lot for me to learn how to do on Unity, *'cough'* sound *'cough'* particles , and also a lot of different features like other weapons and more enemy types I wanted to add, but I simply lacked organization to make everything in time, but I am so happy for the constructive and oh so positive feedback, ~~even if I don't quite know if I deserve~~, I wasn't even going to participate and now I see that pushing forward no matter what was the best choice I could make.

If there is one thing I take from all this is how this community is so amazing, and I am more than hyped for next jam, maybe with more practice and a better time management plan, I will be able to get more finished.

Thanks yall~:heart::heart::heart::heart:, your support truly means the world

Congratulations on your first game and LDJam! The game was fun, took me ages to realise the player sprite was a turret or some sort(?) and not a guy clutching his head at the fact a laser beam is blasting out of it. I like the simplistic art style, could've done with some sound effects, but I know those can be a pain when first learning Unity (I wasted a few hours in my entry trying to figure out how to shoehorn in sound properly!)

Excellent entry, well done!

Despite the fact that the game takes a lot of megabytes, I still played it Good control and everything is clear

Very solid entry for your first go. I think the game could use a look into the difficulty curve, I was able to get very far without my heart rate going up at all, it wasn't challenging or engaging. I'd love to see new enemy types, and some variation in health pools, movement speeds, etc. Maybe some turret upgrades.

I agree with most of the comments here. Solid entry on your first game, you should be proud!
