LD38 — A Small World

For The Love Of Money by KunoNoOni 2017-05-03T22:20:39Z

I like your animation for the character. The controls feel good and the movement is nice. The challenge is really good and well balanced. Great job on this and hope to see your games in future dares.

One suggestion for next time: and this goes for everyone that submitted something, (including myself). Think about "Why would the player want to play this?" and "Why should the player care?" and "How can I keep the player engaged and give them real depth of gameplay?"

Bazooka Freaks by Neato 2017-05-03T22:37:52Z

This was one of the more fun games I played. I especially liked the spherical world the players were in and the projectiles were unpredictable in a good way.

Hopperbot by Joe Miller 2017-05-16T20:31:17Z

Very nice job, this was one of the better entries I've seen!

Toaster Town by Daffodil Ohio 2017-05-03T22:33:26Z

The graphics were spot on and amusing but it didn't really feel like a game.

Gate Breaker by GrassWhopper 2017-05-08T01:20:02Z

Nice job mixing 2d and 3d together in a way that really works. The player movement felt good but the weapons fire felt a little stiff and slow to control at times. Great work!

Brawll by Bendev_Games 2017-05-03T22:29:34Z

This was one of the more fun games I've played so far. It did feel like a brawler mini-game in the playstation games of the past and that is not a bad thing at all.

My Small Mind by Icewind 2017-05-08T01:24:08Z

Nice work on a clever take on a puzzle game!

The Little World by JayTord 2017-05-03T22:23:30Z

At first I was like, "this is it?" Then the world started to turn. I wasn't expecting such a challenge to be present, but I thoroughly enjoyed it and found myself quickly breaking out into a sweat.

Deep Bottom by LMG613 2017-05-03T22:55:52Z

I really enjoy the challenge of the game and the mood you set. I feel like the transition between the maze running and death is a bit jarring. All around great job!

The Space Dwarf Brigade by BionicalBarbieDoll 2017-05-17T22:22:37Z

I agree with most of the comments here. Solid entry on your first game, you should be proud!

Project Alpha by TMW 2017-05-03T22:39:39Z

I'm impressed at how much content you were able to generate and it was neat to see the option for multiplayer.

A Tiny Place by grahhhhhhhhh 2017-05-08T01:14:59Z

No matter what I try I only die.

The Nedludd Club by zaibakk 2017-05-03T22:44:20Z

The storytelling is really good and the game play was good.

LD39 — Running out of Power

Energy Enigma by JCMonkey 2017-08-01T04:54:59Z

None of the controls were working for me.

Fart Power: Silent Fart Edition by Luke Parker 2017-08-01T04:39:01Z

This would have been hilarious if they was sound.

Fart Squirrel by Pandakipu 2017-08-08T00:40:17Z

Dude. Yes.

Poke Mongo by ghust1995 2017-08-01T03:29:51Z

Funny spin on Pokemon Go. Right when I thought I'd catch the cuterat, the battery life dashed all my dreams.

I hate Snakes! by mennchen22 2017-08-08T01:25:44Z

the executable will not launch on my machine, windows 10.

Notpong by vegard1992 2017-08-07T21:51:42Z

I didn't feel like I was in control of the game at all. It seemed to just play itself.

Trapped in Darkness (LudumDare39 - Running out of Power) by miningcoyote 2017-08-01T03:46:14Z

Didn't know what the controls were and the audio was very distorted. Never saw the power level decrease.

Firekeeper by phantom-lab 2017-08-01T04:06:07Z

Nice job I really enjoyed the graphics and the concept of dragging the wood blocks to the fire is fun. The controls felt a little clunky but overall a nice submission.

Eat pray live by wrexialmt 2017-08-01T03:22:17Z

The art style was great and it was incredibly funny. I did keep making the lord angry and did not know why.

Double power by sapristille 2017-08-01T03:56:40Z

Asked to enter a decryption key. Can't download your game without it.

Rise Shine Fall by ijona 2017-08-07T22:56:40Z

It was very interesting, my suggestion is that you add some ambient music.

Dash out of Power by Lucas Ferrantelli 2017-08-01T03:47:23Z

Also no links still.

Drifter by feips 2017-08-07T22:05:41Z

I felt a little out of control of the space craft, and some sfx feedback would be nice to know I'm actually hitting the asteroid. I like the audio track and the graphics you had.

Loader Escape by Jim Haslett 2017-08-01T04:01:17Z

I double click the jar and it opens a black screen and closes.

Lights Out by PhoenixofForce 2017-08-01T04:57:28Z

I don't think I could move the character.

Patient Out Of Time by ironfroggy 2017-08-01T04:25:25Z

No executable to be found.

Salvage! by frankiesmileshow 2017-08-07T22:19:33Z

Music is great, the art is swell. Suggestion would be to move the astronaut a little faster. Solid entry!

Out of Power by cpv 2017-08-07T22:39:07Z

An idea for a gameplay element came to mind. while you got to mash the spacebar, the doctor could ask for a tool. In order to give him the tool you have to spell it back to him or something like that. if you spell it wrong then the patient is harmed and mass chaos irrupts in the OR.

romxmy7 by Rongsaloth 2017-08-01T04:51:35Z

I don't know WTF happen here but once I saw a teletubby I lost my shit. Very nice job with the ridiculous humor.

Cannon Ships by chuckeles 2017-08-01T04:10:15Z

Killing the other ships was so satisfying. Wish we had some music.

The Killer Bot (VSRATY ROBOT) by Rayfox 2017-08-07T21:48:29Z

Nice job, I enjoyed the controls but I did have one issue with the player just disappearing completely from the screen, seems like there's a bug in there somewhere.

Till the last spin by KiiroHanabi 2017-08-07T21:58:19Z

I see what you were trying to do with the typing sound effects by modulating the pitch but the tone itself was pretty jarring. I also agree that some feedback for positive hits would help. The feedback for negative was cool, and I really like the shifting of the notes.

Low battery by David Brož 2017-08-08T00:01:02Z

you got a solid set of bones in this game here. very nice work.

Zzap by HS_Dave 2017-08-08T23:31:16Z

Awesome game! One of the best entries I've played so far.

The Color of Days To Come. by TheOneThatNeverWas 2017-08-07T22:10:22Z

So the only experience I had was a black screeen, a non-stop tone of what I'm assuming to be an alarm clock at very loud level and a audio track that seems to loop (almost).

The Greater Good by Hush 2017-08-01T04:45:13Z

Very nice job on this! I especially loved the intro sequence. And the voice acting too!

LD40 — The more you have, the worse it is

Drgn by UnlikelyNomad 2017-12-06T05:59:39Z

Very well executed! I wish I had more control of up and down, but after play it for quite a while I got use to it. Great job!

Space Freight by KingMatthew 2017-12-06T06:11:24Z

I really like the challenge of navigating through the asteroids. Great job with the theme. The stations seemed to spawn a bit far away for me and the pirate were a little too fast compare to the player. Other than that great job!

Santa's Factory by SaraMartins 2017-12-27T14:13:55Z

One complaint: gift were hard to pickup. Other than that I loved to sounds/music/visuals! Who thought that cleaning up your workshop could be so much fun?

Escape by asunoz 2017-12-05T18:07:28Z

I really enjoyed the idea of escaping from the clinic. Fantastic job creating the mood. The patrols caused me a lot of stress. The one thing that felt weird was the patient's footsteps.

Great job!

Stack Stuff by egawag 2017-12-06T05:51:52Z

This was a lot of fun. I can see myself playing this as much as minesweeper!

BadChristmas by BobStopka 2017-12-05T18:21:27Z

It took me awhile to figure out how to play as well. Can you pickup snowballs? Because they seem to spawn on a timer or something.
