Thank you for the nice feedback!
It´s... interesting, but fun!
I like it!
Nice Game, but sometimes the enemies spawn right beside or even in you. But besides that and some minor bugs it´s a solid game.
The Music and Gameplay fits very well and it´s fun to play.
But you are able to climb to the edge of a laser-conveyorbelt(?) and the lasers can´t hit you, so you can get an infinite amount of points.(I even managed to get to the top of the room somehow.)
Nice Job!
This is my favourite game of this jam, as I love the concept of switching places. Also it reminds me of my favourite game of the last jam, Tangent.
Interesting to play but terrible on a keyboard.
I was literally shocked when all their eyes turned red...
Nice game, but I freaked at the sound effect at the end.
That was..... weird.
Very cute game, the transission between the levels took way too long though.
Nice Game, really like the music and the arcade-style, my record are 9750 points.
Great idea, even though I don't get the 'judging me' part.
I was clicking random locations, I didn't know what I was doing but I like it.
Love the aesthetics. Sadly, you get stuck when your ship lands on the side.
Brilliant. It's extremly satisfying to see the planets and your opponent explode.
I really think you should develop this further, it's very chill and fun, but a little bit hard at the same time. Also, level 4 didnt start.
I love the artstyle, everything works well together.
Amazing
Good Job!
I really like the economy system and the calming music. It somehow reminds me of Stellaris, which is my favourite game. Good job!
I simply love this game.
I really like the game, but sadly, I am way too bad, I only got 30 points.
Basically scorched earth but in space.
Hey guys, thank you for your nice comments and suggestions. I think I didn't make it clear enough that you can rotate your player with q and e and press space to accelerate forward, sorry for that.
This is (currently) my favourite game this year, although music and sound effects would be nice.
Edit: I am stupid, my Headphones were turned off.
Not too bad!
Really nice game, great work!
Amazing Entry, great Work.
I really love the music of this entry, good job!
It was really interesting to play and easy to understand, sadly, I wasn't able to defeat the red tribe. The textboxes add a nice story. The only thing which bugs me is that you loose all your progress when switching between what you are making.
Nice entry, I love the music, though I am a little bit confused.
I like the game. My only problem with it is, that it is a little bit short, I think you should develop it further
Nice Entry, i like the mechanic, but somehow(or was it intendet?) the first asteroids spawned only after a minute and also very rarely so it isn't a real challenge, anyway, nice entry.
I licked it but should have definetly been music.
At first, I didn't figured this game out. But when I realised that you need to place the houses besides the street I got the hang of it. My only complain is, that it gets easier when you are further into the game. I managed to build buildings on all the possible locations an fill all of them up on the first try. (I got a score of 882870) Good job!
I love the concept! Apparently I love sports and I am very spiritual.
It reminds me of bomberman, quite nice!
Fantastic Graphics, I also loved the music. I dislike that because the planet spins it's often very hard to place an objects in a narrow space, also, it's hard to see the buildings when passing year ~1500.
I like the idea of convincing people to be peaceful. Good Job
Very fun, I really love the colors.
Even though it doesn't have that much gameplay, I played it for an hour, I created the KSP-System, our Solar-System and made a Rainbow with giant ringed planets, this game is just awesome.
Lovely
I really like the game, good work. I realized that when you starve, you can simply press escape and the game runs on.
I do EVERYTHING for science!
Super fun, I really like the artstyle, altough some ardacic(?) music would have been great. Also you hardly feel the gravity of the objects unless you are in close proximity, so the gravity feature doesn't add that much to the experience.
I think I just made the best screenshot of my life... Screenshot (16).png I just love these kind of games, because, as you can see, I am a master of such games. Just kidding, though I think the real apollo astronauts couldn't have landed the LM like that without braking it.
Amazing job.
@thendash yes, it was pretty easy, but still, i love it!
Amazing job, there are a few problems with certain colliders in narrow tunnels and there isn't that much content, but besides that, everything is perfect.
I think the creature is a mixture of a fox, a bear, and some sort of dairy goods.
Very funny, I managed a score of 35.
Its really nice, I love it.
MY BODY IS READY, I FEEL THE COLORS RUSHING THROUGH MY BODY!
Nice Idea!
Amazing work. I love these types of games (even though I am terrible at them). Also, the idea of your mothership moving around in space is brilliant. Nice Job!
Beautiful, if I only wasn't that bad at shooters...
Beautiful game and interesting idea! I'd suggest making the stars which kill you a bit lighter, because I had a hard time seeing them. Also, does the game end at the battery... at the end? Because there was a wall and I didn't know how to proceed.
This is just brilliant!
You accomplished a lot in 12 hours, congratulations!
I like it, solid gameplay
This is definetly the funniest game I have played, even though I don't really like the graphics and the music, and the AI is pretty stupid. Still, I played it for at least half an hour and I reached 6500 points. The lightning mechanism is well excecuted and really adds to the game. Very nice Job!
I ENTERED YOUR CHALLENGE!!! aaand completely failed, after 20 minutes, my highscore was about 40. Very nice entry though!
Nice Entry, the Audio and graphics are really nice, they emmit a sort of retro feeling. It's very easy at the beginning and it takes some time for it to get harder(a bit too long in my opinion). Also, sorry: Space is Dank
Nice Entry, a few things to note: >It's incredible hard, I only managed to get 4 coins and never reached a wrench. >The obstacles look boring and are all the same. I would love if they were Zeppelins or something like that >I encounter some bugs were when I crashed at the beginning of the game the game freezes >The hitboxes seem to be a little weird
Things I liked: >The music: It's annoying, but it exactly fits the game. >The plane mechanic: It just feel responsive and nice.
Well done, I quite liked it even though these types of games are not my favorite. Nice.
Nice entry! Did I miss any controls, because A and D seem to be the only buttons doing anything, besides W, Shift and Esc?
Nice Entry, the artstyle reminds me of the kurzgesagt videos. Also, is it a bug that the highscore is stuck at 1024? Well done!
Beautiful! A few suggstions: You can launch at a unlimited strength on the web version due to zooming out, maybe you could set a max 'draw' limit. The music is very nice and fitting but it doesn't seem to loop perfectly Also a button like R to restart instantly would be nice. Good work!
Nice entry, but it becomes boring pretty quickly, probably because the movement isn't challenging. Also, you can get negative energy by just pressing leftclick all the time.
Very Challenging!
Nice entry! I just doesn't seem to get any harder the further you come, actually I think it gets easier, because you can just walk around and shoot the electrons behind you, then you rush through them and collect all the orbs. Also, and indicator that your ammo is zero would be nice(like a flashing sign or something), also you can't tell what levels you have unlocked and the collider of the character seems to be a litte too big on the to side.
Beautiful Music, but as many others have said, the gameplay is a bit confusing at first. Nice work!
Very nice entry, it just seems to be impossible, as I always run out of power.
Interesting concept, I just didn't really understand what effects what and the UI often blended out for no reason.
This was honestly the best game I played this jam (so far). I actually played an hour, trying to beat the world record(I didn't). The ability to lock lines so I don't accidentally edit them would be nice. Love it, very addictive.
It took some time to get into it but I had a great time playing!
Perfect execution of the theme, congrats! It's a bit weird that the color you gained shows up after you gain it(but you fixed it in post-jam). Also, sometimes the colors look extremely similar, so I can't differentiate them. Nice game!
Great Idea, a few things: I really like your inventory system and how different items have a different weight. I think it would be quite nice for a survival game. The blue blobs can block your arrows but you can't block their 'blobs' which is kinda frustrating. Movement feels good. A few tiles are just one color(the water in the top right. Also, I think it only counts the with which you finished, not the amount of rupees(I finished with one rupee and one stone and still got the 2/2 rupee end).
@sgadrat, thank you for your feedback, the scoring system is just an indicator of how many levels you have beaten in a row.
I had great fun with it, in my opinion it lacks explosions.
Great Job! Nice graphics, music would have been nice too. Also, I am pretty sure your spacecraft is a soyuz and not an apollo :)
Very well made, I had a great time, the effects look very good. It would be nice if you had to aim or not shoot all the time (with a cooldown or something).
Nice Game, a tutorial would have been nice! Sometimes the ships are so slow they can't catch up with the planet so they just fly behind it all the time. Also, my score wasn't shown at the end and the overpopulation bars are a bit small.
PS: I love the small references on the top(especially the portal one!)
Beautiful game, very well polished, my only complaints are the controls, they don't feel very responsive.
I stand with @lamossus, you need to explain the game better, I have no idea what action triggered what response and what I have to do. Your spiral physics feel awesome though.
Thanks this helped!
Nice and simple game, could be on mobile!
Looks pretty and feels nice, I had bit of trouble with the controls at the beginning but it worked out in the end. I would like some sort of explanation of what every upgrade does, because I didn't really know what to do with half of them. Some sort of health regeneration would also be nice! Nice Entry!
Really cool! Also really hard, I rarely made it right.
I really don't know how the theme plays here, also it lacks an explaination of what powerups do, where you get them and how to to use them (Left Alt did nothing). I also don't know why you can pick up grey rocks and what the lightning 'count' does. Controlls feel smooth, the shooting sound is a bit too loud and the game is a bit too slow. But it's great for your first game, I hope you continue working on games!
It was way too difficult for me. Other than that, it was very atmospheric and kinda creppy. Very well polished, great entry.
I don't know how this goes with the theme, but I absolutely love it! The camera is a zoomed in a bit too far and I think I am not able to delete walls and bumpers. Music and Graphics are great. Currently my most favorite game, thanks! (also the idea of @lumous sounds great)
Love the art and music, interesting game concept, my only problem was that the game sometimes blackscreened at the end.
Great Entry, I have always been a fan of Super Hexagon. As already said, the horizontal hitboxes makes it way harder. Good Job!
Cool Entry, I had a lot of fun. The music is catchy and the graphics are great. I found it via your making of which was very intersting to read.
Great Job.
I was 78, a great gamedeveloper and will be remembered for my smile.
I like that, thank you for your entry.
Great Entry, I had fun (and got kinda sad). There really isn't that much to complain about, it just slightly annoys me that the music restarts every new sector. Good job!
I really didn't know Unity was capable of such things, you did a great job (Altough I have no idea how this fits into the theme).
This was definetly the strangest game I played on this jam (yet). The movement feels a bit off but I was having fun and played it through (At the cost of 17 sanity though, because I wanted to know how bad the distortion would get). Well done.
Nice Entry, the graphics and the sound is good, I don't really like the combat system, because even if I dodge an attack, as soon as I get back to the enemy, it instantly strikes me again. Maybe I am just terrible at it.😅
This is amazing, I want an endless mode!
Absolutly beautiful and peaceful, thank you.
I am pretty sure this is my favourite entry so far, you did absolutly great, thank you!
Nice entry, I like the nod to "In Time". The gameplay is great, the music and graphics are okay. I would really like some indication of when the player gets hurt and how much ammo you still have. Also, it would be great if the enemy radar thing would point towards the nearest enemy, not just some random one. Good Job!
Cool concept and graphics, as already said, aiming is very hard, maybe some sort overlay would be nice.
Good entry!
It reminds me of one of my favourite games, Heat Signature. It's really fun, the enemy pathfinding is great, some indication of health would have been nice. Good job, thank you.
Great Entry, I tried several different methods for beating it, but I just sort of always ended up going to the left and slightly up and just continously firing. For some reason the boss only uses one easily dodgable attack as soon as I am far away.
I like the different upgrades and the excecution of the theme. The graphics are very good, and the music actually pumps me up.
Good Job!
Nice game, very simple yet effective. Great Job.
The graphics and atmoshpere are quite nice, they fit within the office asthetics.
The game is just way too hard in a bad way, it is just impossible to dodge the bullets, I just sort of ran in circles hoping nothing would hit me.
Still, great job, I had a decent time playing it.
Great Entry, cool graphics and idea, though some form of tutorial or explaination would have been great.
I enjoyed the graphics and the gameplay (even though it took me some time to figure it out). Some music would have been nice. Nice job!
It's really fun, but as soon as you buy a few DMG upgrades you onehit every asteroid, and it doesn't seem like the amount of asteroids spawning increases. I love that the planet growing is in sync with the beat. It would be nice if you could strive right and left.
Good job, especially for your first game.
Amazing work, I think this game as well @secretpocketcat 's entry will get me into typing games.
Thank you!
Great game, I really like the eery atmosphere (it reminded me of portal). I played through the complete thing and was never bored (only slightly frustrated at the final boss). The mechanics create a cool crossover between puzzle game and 2D-shooter (or whatever this genre is called).
My only downside is that the keyboard layout is really akward on a german keyboard, as the Z and Y keys are switched.
Great job!
I don't think the game works correctly on my machine, because the particles are just grey spheres, nice idea though.
Great Entry, it reminds me of FTL(I am pretty sure you got inspired by it). The graphics and sounds are great and it's polished very well. There just aren't enough encounters and the items don't seem to do much. Great Job though, I love it.
Great game and concept, the switch between building and driving feels nice, but the driving itself doesn't really feel tight enough.
