LD31 — Entire Game on One Screen

Admin vs BFU by jarnik 2014-12-07T18:54:00

Now I know how to code! Thanks!

P.Rick Airious by asobi tech 2014-12-21T06:39:00

Pretty damn good. Challenging, too, but not unfairly so. Everything clicked nicely.

Industry Ruins by pirate-rob 2014-12-08T10:41:00

That was amazing. Everything fit together so damn well. Awesome game.

Good Old Times by lekochen 2014-12-08T09:13:00

For a second there I thought I had to do the whole damn thing.

Tower Falling by dalbinblue 2014-12-08T07:03:00

Can't get past first level. After bombing the altar, the second level comes down, and suddenly goes back to level 1.

T.R.A.S.H - Totally.Reliable.Autonomouse(ish).ShipDefence.Hinterface by Von Hunt 2014-12-09T03:55:00

Took a while to figure it out, but otherwise pretty damn cool~

Dodgy Screen by Mixer 2014-12-08T09:41:00

Pretty interesting, and I almost got to the end, too. Until I accidentally saved on a green bar and died repeatedly.

flop by ix 2014-12-08T06:58:00

It's like jumping in molasses. But still, it was interesting.

Blue Cave by NuSan 2014-12-08T08:37:00

I couldn't figure out the flail's controls, though Space seemed to do something. Pretty interesting overall.

The Blind Monk by PoshRaven 2014-12-07T18:48:00

Pushed the counter off the castle. The timer is a solid object, and the text is over the char. Not a problem, just... weird, y'know.

And then when I went to the very top of the map, the stone on my head disappeared when it went out of the screen. EXCEPT IT DIDN'T, when I deposited the invisirock into the castle.

And then in the end I died and slid across the floor uncontrollably until I hit the edge and stopped.

10/10 would wat again

duck.exe by GmacktheGummy 2014-12-07T18:33:00

Wat

Fuckin'Dark ! by Tipyx 2014-12-08T07:49:00

Cool, though a smidge unforgiving when enemies see you through a wall and send you to the start. Otherwise, very nice~

One life hero by komjaur 2014-12-08T18:14:00

Interesting game and concept~ Never ending dungeon... Backtracking would be odd, though

Squareon by okkolobr 2014-12-08T10:02:00

It's not as easy as it looks, that's for sure. My eyes hurt now~

One Screen Many Jumps by Natura-Time 2014-12-08T10:16:00

That was actually very interesting~

Snowball juggling Olympio by Benjamin 2014-12-28T16:13:00

Holy shit, amazing game. Really well thought-out, and equally well executed. Even more impressive is the fact it's done in 48 hours. I never would've guessed.

Block Brigade by CodeNMore 2014-12-21T06:28:00

An interesting idea of having the powerups latch on to the player and take hits for them.

Tell me you! by kato 2014-12-09T04:13:00

Great atmosphere and art, though it's difficult to understand.

Contact Cowboy by jrap 2014-12-08T18:21:00

A bit too easy to figure out who P1 is, which is when he picks up the bomb. That narrows it down a LOT. Instructions for P1 are wrong for raising and lowering knife.

It Has Already Begun by justinooncx 2014-12-08T00:11:00

Sorry, but I don't have the exporters in Clickteam Fusion 2.5 for other platforms. I really wish I did, though.

Dauntless by Luthwyhn 2014-12-08T17:33:00

Not bad~ I have a soft spot for procedurally generated dungeon crawlers like these. Wish I knew how to do something like that.

Mobile Life by tonypai 2014-12-08T08:36:00

Interesting interactive experience... Though the third picture with the guy eating food doesn't reset back to the phone on later tries.

Little Snow World by rsergiu2003 2014-12-08T08:55:00

Accurate driving-in-snow simulator.

Screen Cutter by squirrel 2014-12-09T04:00:00

Very interesting concept! A tad exploitable at certain parts, but otherwise very interesting!

Twisted Fantasie by wandersenus 2014-12-08T09:50:00

Really confusing, still don't know what I just did.

Squadron Commander by Raxsus 2014-12-08T07:58:00

Incredibly hard to manage 3 ships at once. Next to impossible really. If that's part of the design to just grab the shield ship and play with that alone, why not.

Also, I can put the ship at the far left of the screen and become invulnerable and also not be able to shoot.

Escape by Jamjie 2014-12-08T18:28:00

Unable to play due to extreme resolution size.

EGOS by Mopz 2014-12-08T18:36:00

Pretty fun gameplay, nice unified design.

Colored Ninjas by BtheDestroyer 2014-12-08T08:48:00

I can't die. Why does it take me so long to die. Please kill me. XD

Fan OP, pls nerf

Cubelicious by spazzarama 2014-12-08T09:25:00

A little dodgy when slamming my face into walls, but otherwise fun!

SIRTET by stray 2014-12-08T08:58:00

Goddamn, this is revolutionary. Good shit, man

Duck, Jump, Die by Divitos 2014-12-21T06:34:00

This is pretty damn good. Challenging, but fun and fair! Love how it feels.

LD32 — An Unconventional Weapon

The Gameyard by justinooncx 2015-04-20T14:39:00

@stray Sorry, I must've changed the settings when I was figuring out how to embed the game into HTML. It should be fixed now.

The Gameyard by justinooncx 2015-04-21T01:53:00

@pikmin4000 Holy shit, it works that way too? Sweeeeet.

LD33 — You are the Monster

Eat Sheep by ehtd 2015-08-25T08:46:00

Pretty interesting puzzle game, overall! Great job!

Up & Away! by bytegrove 2015-08-27T06:37:00

Pretty goddamn polished game with lovable art and animations. Great job!

WUF by TravisChen 2015-08-26T09:03:00

Interesting experience, though I hesitate to call it a game. Entertained myself by walking off the land and falling forever.

Escape of the Slime Monster by airfrog 2015-08-27T10:05:00

WHAT A TWIST.

Annoying that the movement gets stuck a lot, but otherwise pretty alright!

Earth Was a Bad Choice by zatyka 2015-08-31T02:28:00

Hoooly shit. Amazing game. Great art, nice music, and especially great mechanics that are innovative and fun!

Justified by humpback studios 2015-08-27T10:28:00

Interesting take on the theme. Text based adventures are valid, I suppose, although I question why you want to be judged in audio and graphics...

Milky Helps People by reheated 2015-08-26T09:49:00

Finished the game and got both endings. Bloody hell. I'm a monster for laughing.

The (other) Thing by anjack 2015-08-27T09:36:00

Interesting concept, if lacking in execution. Still, there's always post-jam, and the next Ludum Dare.

We Have No Good Deeds by @SamPotasz 2015-08-26T03:29:00

Interesting analogy. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the score measures your good deeds? And no matter how much wealth, fame or sex you obtain, you aren't doing any good deeds by tapping away at your phone.

Face Puncher by chunkybrewster 2015-08-26T03:37:00

Every time my character finishes punching a line of people he reaches a climax.

9/10 true monster.

Monster Taxi by AtomicVikings 2015-08-25T15:39:00

Crash-landed beside a customer, left with my severed head.

After standing there for 3 seconds, customer entered my head anyway.

10/10

Oranges In Love With My Fly by ViliX64 2015-08-26T05:45:00

A very nice tactical game that's actually challenging! Sadly I don't have enough time to play through the whole thing, only reached the potatoes.

Hero Mate by Lancelot Gao 2015-08-27T12:00:00

Holy shit, great game and concept. Very well polished, too, can't wait for World 2!

Dungeon Feeder by orukinawa 2015-08-25T15:01:00

My dungeon is still hungry!

Mazeotaur by Killbert 2015-08-26T10:54:00

Not a bad game, everything works alright. Nothing spectacular, though.

Monster Production by belowzerogames 2015-08-26T03:12:00

Interesting game, although I teleported back to the start for no reason at all a few times. Not sure what the scare button does, since the sleepers wake up when I go near them anyway. Even through walls.

SludgeLand by MFEP 2015-08-27T09:14:00

Making the player work for the good ending? Nice. The platforming was rather odd, though, and I died a lot unnecessarily. Still, great game!

Amebiasis by theshadowteam 2015-08-25T14:46:00

Pretty cool puzzle game! Difficult, though, I have to admit. And great art, too!

Where My Eggs At!? by Kassimkot 2015-08-26T08:26:00

I predict at least another 5 comments stating how they can't reach the egg, and one more gloating that he's the best and he totally got it on his first try.

The Frog King by dollarone 2015-08-26T10:12:00

Not a bad game, although the real monster is the frog king who was an asshole and turned your friends into frogs to make you kill them. CURSE YOU FROG KING.

The Good Monster by UekiShurei 2015-09-13T13:00:00

Beat the boss, but the game didn't end. It had a nice difficulty, despite the AI of the minions and enemies being a tad funny after you attack them.

Super Snack Time! by adsilcott 2015-08-28T18:49:00

Bloody hell, you weren't kidding when you said this game is hard. Hilarious that the snacks sometimes fail to jump properly and get stuck on the ground!

Youkai by Nibble Bits Studio 2015-08-27T12:10:00

A pretty mechanically satisfying game! It feels great to mow people down like that!

...I AM a monster...

Ludum Crackers by CHRIStopher 2015-08-27T09:30:00

Not sure how to play or what the goal is, but I'm sure you can improve on it.

Monster Garten by omaha 2015-08-27T08:13:00

Pretty fun game, although spawning the enemies on top of me was a dick move. TwT Either way, nice art and feel, too!

AM I? by DruhinM 2015-08-26T04:53:00

I truly am a monster when I make the clear-headed decision to drive on the sidewalk so I die slower.

No Country for Troll Men by aberdeenphoenix 2015-08-25T04:17:00

Pretty fun game overall! However, on Day 11, I finished the level, and was promptly told I died. Is that a bug, or does the game end at Day 11?

Human Hunter by spatanz 2015-08-25T14:08:00

Pretty fun, I liked how you were able to hook them on the way back! The movement is wonky sometimes, though.

You are the Hero by rotpar 2015-08-25T08:37:00

With there was a way to play through without having to murder something and get that wish.

Then I'll wish for all the monsters to die.

Still, jolly good show!

Sweet Mom by Grhyll 2015-08-26T10:42:00

This game made me feel like a monster more than any game I've played so far.

You are a cruel, cruel man to have made this game, and I'm a monster for playing and enjoying it.

FEED YOUR KIDS YOU MONSTER! by Askbackwards 2015-08-31T04:39:00

A very interesting game! I'm not sure whether it was intended or not, but failing a mission really felt like I was a monster for not feeding my children. The controls are rather floaty, though, and more often than not I wouldn't stop in time. Also, I can jump as many times as I want, which means I don't use the Shift+Ctrl function to change the jump charge.

Mighty Golem by FlashMonkey 2015-08-26T03:43:00

I'm not entirely sure how the skills work, since sometimes they don't seem to activate.

Then again, I couldn't really read the instructions. Dat font, man.

The Alchemist by SKT 2015-08-28T18:44:00

Cool game with a nice steady pace. A little wonky on the platforming and punching. Also, it must've been a bitch to do so many different sprites for one character!

Trick and Treat? by killersnoofie 2015-09-04T13:47:00

Not a bad game, pretty interesting mechanic. Nice game made for such a short amount of time!

Pixel Corruption by TerinHD 2015-08-25T08:54:00

Pretty damn interesting idea, although it's hard to see the results when I can't stay alive long enough.

BlobZilla by baldman 2015-08-25T11:22:00

An interesting game, but it doesn't feel very challenging or punishing. Not a bad thing, at least you have the EXP upgrade system to push the player.

Stoned Golem by ArchonMode 2015-08-26T04:00:00

It's actually pretty fun to punch buildings and see them fly intact like a styrofoam prop!

Angsthase by Fantasieleben 2015-08-27T08:21:00

Has a really odd feel to it, mostly with the controls, as well as how the whole thing plays out. Still, an interesting and challenging game!

Monster by ajkolenc 2015-08-27T08:02:00

It was a pretty solid experience, despite being so simple. Really got the point across. Very odd controls, though, took me a while to figure them out.

Zilla vs. MegaTank by anodomani 2015-08-27T11:11:00

Simple game, although could use some polish. Also, I won with no idea how.

Collateral by mklee 2015-08-26T04:14:00

Pretty cool game, although the humans are better than killing themselves than I am...

THEY'RE the true monsters!

How cookies ruined my life. by Suese 2015-08-27T06:15:00

Haha, Family Guy reference! Nice game overall!

The Cauldron of Humanity by Lashiz121 2015-08-26T05:03:00

Could do with a bit of balancing, along with the size of the game. Something with such simple art and gameplay would be better off on a smaller screen.

LD34 — Two Button Controls / Growing

From the Sea, Freedom by SecondDimension 2015-12-16T16:38:00

I'd classify this as a game. Caught myself playing this longer than I thought I would. Any chance this is going to be a screensaver?

Initial Conditions by reheated 2016-01-01T18:36:00

I remember playing your last Ludum Dare game with the growing milk. You're exceptionally gifted with making great puzzle games, as well as injecting them with rather nice story! Well done!

become a game developer in 60 seconds by unprompted 2015-12-14T13:12:00

Holy hell, this is... How do you even make something like this? It's amazing! The thought of creating a game with two buttons is... And it actually functions!

Concrete Jungle by Miltage 2015-12-16T08:49:00

Pretty relaxing game that's actually rather fun to see in action! Especially love the timelapse effects!

Crabby Puzzles by Verrazano 2015-12-15T16:45:00

Actually rather challenging, but the art and sounds are nice!

Harvest by MarekkPie 2015-12-15T16:14:00

Simple, but challenging. Some of the timers are rather odd compared to the words, though.

Tama Battle! by midgard 2015-12-15T01:32:00

Pretty darn great pet-fighting game! Simple, but rather addicting!

Crazy Slinky Snake by oal 2015-12-14T13:37:00

Haha, this was a pretty damn interesting game! Love how it got harder the longer it became.

Bloon by Paul Sinnett 2015-12-15T12:29:00

Could've been so much more!

DESEEDER by Zanzlanz 2015-12-14T07:06:00

Pretty spiffy game! Diagonal pixels look damn awesome (although you probably didn't have to tilt the whole screen for it)! Rather difficult, though, but not unfair!

The Terrible Wizard of Gl?«å½f¡ by Chaoseed 2015-12-15T03:16:00

Heh, pretty interesting! Dragging the buttons is wonky, though, which was what killed me in the end.

Cannonfodder by Dunric 2015-12-20T16:48:00

Pretty normal game, but still pretty fun. Played rather long, it feels nice to earn money for each shot!

Lands of TSR Lore by Christina Antoinette Neofotistou 2015-12-17T01:24:00

Has a lot of potential! Saw one or two graphical issues, but pretty well done for drag 'n drop code!

Frogtale by rzuf 2015-12-14T10:10:00

Haha, holy shit, this game is GOOD! Gameplay is actually decent, writing is funny, and the art and music is so whimsical!

5/5, will preorder the sequel!

Society, Man. by floppya 2015-12-15T00:47:00

That's what I call social commentary! Pretty interesting game.

Jack by PixelMonkey 2015-12-15T02:47:00

Uuuuh... I seem to be stuck on the first level. Every time I escape, it just resets the level...

Coffee, Please! by sweetfish 2015-12-16T13:51:00

Would've been nice if I actually drank coffee and understood those terms. Didn't get a single cent...

Tower to the Stars by ianh 2015-12-15T06:48:00

Pretty well-polished game! Took a while to figure out what I was supposed to do exactly.

Neon Junk Collector by Kimau 2015-12-16T11:51:00

Web version doesn't seem to work, unfortunately.

Squishy the Turtle by cppchriscpp 2015-12-16T16:08:00

Wow, this can really run on a Game Boy? I'm curious as to how difficult making a game for the Game Boy would be...

Arkanika by DrZanuff 2015-12-15T03:13:00

Pretty cool game! Like how the pacing was controlled with the goalposts getting bigger.

Super Sky Golf by savethejets1 2015-12-15T03:04:00

404 error :(

Bring joy to the world... with balloons! by cptalbertwesker 2015-12-16T16:14:00

So the game just loops? Rather interesting, but definitely can do more with it.

Pinball Garden by Yngar 2015-12-16T14:51:00

The paddles feel like they have little power, so the ball didn't fly very far most times.

Stavros the DAVROS by DustyStylus 2015-12-14T16:57:00

Pretty funny game! Actually managed to get the hang of it and escape. Love the whooshing sound effects!

Growing Xmas Tree by Webravenz 2015-12-18T11:15:00

Not a game, but hell, it fills me with holiday cheer. Merry Christmas!

Beardgrow by esayitch 2015-12-16T12:48:00

Rather difficult, but otherwise quite a nice game! Really hard to get all the endings, though.

Ski3D by zimmy87 2015-12-15T03:03:00

Actually kinda difficult to control, but hey, it works!

Rogue-Life by SethR 2015-12-15T01:19:00

Pretty interesting social commentary! I'm sure this would be pretty fun when expanded upon!

Grow Heart by chr15m 2015-12-18T07:02:00

An odd experience. I admit I don't quite get it. Still, it FEELS good.

Pigeon by euske 2015-12-28T13:00:00

A deceptively difficult game, but pretty good! The art is nice, and the gameplay is very interesting!

Mystic Sapling by atrodo 2015-12-15T06:58:00

Kinda hard to play, seeing as some souls get stuck on the ceiling with no way to pull or push them.

Magic Hero by Mixon00 2015-12-15T02:30:00

All that's missing is a little music, and this would be a nice rhythm game!

Giant Frog by pl0xz0rz 2015-12-14T16:25:00

Pretty hard to play, since the platforming is wonky.

How to Build a Lighthouse by Mnemusyne 2015-12-14T16:09:00

Superb game all around! Stunning aesthetics, simple but fun gameplay, the works! Well done!

Pyramid Scheme by LandoSystems 2015-12-30T00:56:00

Surprisingly deep resource management game! Was tough juggling my resources AND trying to appease that bloody pharaoh... And the jokes at the bottom are a nice touch!

Evilator by Dyn 2015-12-16T13:27:00

Pretty interesting game, although I honestly wasn't 100% sure of what was going on~

Tamagotchi Hell by Troyan 2015-12-15T16:22:00

An... odd game that I still am unsure on how to play. Moves by so quickly...

Grow, Thrive, Evolve by Taffaz 2015-12-16T01:43:00

It's the most fun part of Spore! Pretty fun game!

Chaintanks by ProjectX593 2015-12-15T17:27:00

A weapon to surpass Metal Gear... Addictive and satisfying gameplay!

Breathe by Galvesmash 2015-12-19T05:46:00

Pretty interesting game! Not as easy as it looks...

Subject Is Compliant, Subject Is Defiant by Christina Nordlander 2015-12-14T08:49:00

Pretty interesting storyline. Did you imagine one true ending, or is the truth dependent on what you choose?

The Temple of Horyuji by ZYXer 2015-12-23T14:06:00

Pretty sweet graphics, with interesting gameplay. Like a survival tower defense...

Food by oab 2015-12-14T08:30:00

Wish there was a storyline option for healthy eating. Other than that, pretty interesting... game?

SlimeCraft by jacklehamster 2015-12-16T15:59:00

H-holy shit...! A two button RTS?! It's actually pretty damn fun, and it sticks to the theme to boot! Well done, props to you!

Trump Buttons Incorporated by FloatingGhost 2015-12-14T09:14:00

By the nine heavens, is this game INTIMIDATING. Even with the help screen, I was still paralyzed from lack of understanding.

Rolla Grolla Arena by Xanjos 2016-01-01T19:56:00

Simple game, but really difficult to play. The jumping is a bit finicky. Then again, I was playing the slightly unstable HTML5 build.

Cutesadoopsi by PizzaPranks 2015-12-15T05:10:00

Really slow progression, if any. A rather simple game.

bullet hell web game thingy (but really, it's a pretty ok game) by peyj 2015-12-15T02:25:00

An interesting take on the bullet hell genre! The random shots are rather unfair, though.

Hyper Hydra Havoc by chunkybrewster 2015-12-16T16:04:00

Kinda fun, but there's nothing much to do besides slamming their faces on little white dots.

Forest growth by chabuduo 2015-12-18T00:54:00

A relaxing idle game. Pretty fun, actually!

Great Nation by StuffBySpencer 2015-12-15T02:23:00

Haha, social commentary~ It does capture the essence of making tough decisions rather nicely.

Speed Racer by EncryptedCow 2015-12-15T05:59:00

A pretty standard game. Not bad for something done in 4 hours.

Metaforski! by _stice 2015-12-14T16:27:00

By jove, this game is pretty difficult, seeing as how little time you have to react to the blue blocks...

Hearty's Quest by LMT 2015-12-18T08:22:00

Pretty cool puzzle game with well thought out level design.

JUMPR by Supernaught 2015-12-17T16:04:00

Well-polished game with enjoyable gameplay. Well done! Definitely has a mobile vibe to it.

NGHGM by Stals 2015-12-29T01:03:00

A pretty cool game, although difficult as hell! Really nice resource management, although it's sometimes too random.

AFTER GEAR by gene-z 2015-12-14T17:10:00

I... I have.. no idea what I just played.

All I did was run around and shoot into the air, and sometimes floated up into the sky, and then I won...

Mighty Sword by Rnd 2015-12-14T16:19:00

A pretty simple game, but nice to see that it has phone support. The buttons may be a bit too close to use effectively, though.

Hanabi by LittleThor 2015-12-15T17:30:00

Really difficult to draw circles with a mouse...

Space War Z by Reinoso 2015-12-15T17:18:00

Those lasers hurt my ears! Otherwise, it's pretty cool how the platforms spiral outwards like that! Frustrating, but cool!

The King is Dead by Capitals 2015-12-16T12:52:00

Game froze when the enemy had negative values. Otherwise, an interesting game.

WALKER by piper82 2015-12-15T03:59:00

God, Walker definitely lives up to his name. Has some potential, but otherwise quite linear.

Revenge of the Ducks by Ronin748 2015-12-15T16:50:00

Pretty damn fun game, though it took me a while to figure out what I was doing. Love the FPS pixelated style!

EGO by Andreas Brandt 2015-12-16T14:37:00

By the gods, is this guy depressing. NOTHING I say to him seems to work. Now I'M depressed.

Legacy of Flower by qbicfeet 2015-12-14T13:13:00

Pretty difficult, given how random the platforms spawn, but otherwise a pretty damn interesting game!

Toolip! by davekalina 2015-12-24T18:08:00

Pretty interesting game, although I managed to bug it somehow. After criss-crossing the flowers a few times, it went into a growing loop, constantly growing in a pattern around it, making the game unwinnable since it destroyed the nearby flowers. Otherwise, very nice idea!

Growing Ties by drludos 2015-12-28T13:44:00

Very polished game, challenging but fun gameplay, and interesting take on the theme! Well done!

Major Tom by OberynMartell 2015-12-21T16:14:00

Goooooddamnit. Halfway through level 6, and WebGL runs out of memory... Besides the satellite being difficult as hell to control (restarted because I couldn't stop it from boosting), the game is beautiful and challenging.

Give and Take by Move127 2015-12-14T17:29:00

I haven't wrapped my head around how to navigate this properly, but there's something oddly satisfying about fostering human life from a single volcano. Bravo!

Ludum Vitae by Slothmachine 2015-12-14T16:29:00

Uh... There's no link, no game.

Cipolletti by psychonull 2015-12-23T13:28:00

An interesting game, but it takes quite a bit of getting used to. Especially the rules.

Floppy Frog by walaber 2015-12-16T14:29:00

Holy shit this took up more time than I thought. I also somehow managed to finish the last level by jumping OVER the tools instead of using them. So much potential!

Surf a Turf by daandruff 2015-12-16T16:24:00

A rather nice and relaxing game. Screw the flowers, flying is where it's at!

AirC.A.T by TsFreddie 2015-12-15T00:52:00

Pretty cool game! The controls took a bit of getting used to, but otherwise it's actually pretty challenging!

Fortress Hunt by Funske 2015-12-15T01:43:00

Surprisingly easy to control for a cursor-based platformer!

Plantagone by Gins 2015-12-14T09:49:00

Really fun game to play, not to mention quite forgiving! Just glad that missing your aim doesn't launch your flower, that would mean I'd have to play a LOT more...

The amazingly clunky 2-button platformer! by JaytleBee 2015-12-15T16:01:00

Jeez, that was a challenging game. But totally doable! A rather fun experience!

Don't Press Them by CodeNMore 2015-12-14T16:17:00

A pretty decent game, surprisingly! A simple RTS/tower defense of sorts, impressive for something done so fast!

My Best (Magical) Friend! by spotco 2015-12-19T10:37:00

Very nice art! I can't comment on the story, since I haven't finished it yet, but otherwise it looks really polished.

Goblinheart by ninjascript 2015-12-15T08:04:00

Interesting mechanic, pity to see it wasn't fully complete. Next time, yeah?

Hero of the nest by Alexander Shukalo 2015-12-15T16:58:00

Pretty nice game. Thankfully not too many eggs at a time...

Bean Rider by dusho 2015-12-15T12:38:00

Not a bad game. Damn, that beanstalk is hard to control...

Cyber Rider 2023 by Andrew Patton 2015-12-14T13:47:00

Actually rather difficult to get the hang of, but otherwise a pretty interesting game!

Two Buttons by tobia88 2015-12-15T12:04:00

Really nice game! Well-polished and fun to play, with nice sounds, visuals and level design!

Hungry Spider by Darek Greenly 2015-12-14T17:13:00

The randomization is a bit wonky, as I've died from hunger from no food spawning. Also, the gaps in the vines do nothing...?

Edo Arena by PowerSpark 2015-12-19T11:14:00

Not a bad game, although the collisions are a tad wonky, as well as the enemy spawning. Has a lot of promise!

The Super Bros (that are not Brothers!) by Xinelu 2015-12-15T05:36:00

When playing with A+D alone, it was brutally hard. But with A+D AND the arrow keys, it became a walk in the park.

Escape by thefishlive 2015-12-14T16:43:00

Surprisingly frustrating, since you restart at the beginning on death. The platforming is weird, too.

Exttach by VascoF 2015-12-14T03:53:00

Pretty innovative game! Difficult, too, seeing as sometimes the ship fails to shoot. Maybe I'll beat that boss sometime...

What Shall We Do With All This Spacejunk?! by LostTrainDude 2015-12-15T12:19:00

Pretty interesting idea!

Jumping J.A.C.K. by Donar 2015-12-14T13:31:00

Frickin' 'ell, this game is bloody difficult. But an interesting concept, nonetheless!

Need For Seed: Undergrowth by RhythmLynx 2015-12-15T13:55:00

Pretty interesting game! Took me a while to figure out what was happening, though, and the randomness made it pretty hard.

Marimo by comatomatoes 2015-12-19T02:41:00

This is a very mood-y game if I ever saw one. Interesting gameplay, soothing music, pretty nice experience all around!

Ortogonalis by pjimmy 2015-12-16T01:37:00

Pretty cool concept! The timing was very strict, but otherwise an interesting game!

Deerhunt by DoggyDog 2015-12-14T13:09:00

Difficult, but fun. Not much else to say, honestly.

Shine Vine by Mr. 2015-12-16T15:27:00

Pretty standard fare at this point, but a good effort.

Z4KM4STER - Zookeeper DJ by candlesan 2015-12-17T15:56:00

Looks can be deceiving... That was actually a very well-made rhythm game! I'm pretty damn impressed!

Space Elf by Farfin 2015-12-14T03:22:00

Art is crisp and polished, and the mechanics are pretty interesting~

Lifenodes. by Remicy 2015-12-15T00:42:00

There's something a heartwarming about watching a child grow up depending on your choices...

Space Defender by ImYellowFish 2015-12-20T06:50:00

Pretty difficult game, but definitely interesting and fun! The Earth-pushing mechanics are a tad hard to use, though.

Snowballin' by Frenchie 2015-12-29T08:27:00

May not be the most original ideas, but it's definitely one of the more well-polished ones. Fun, and not too challenging!

Sand Storm by pontooncity 2015-12-18T01:00:00

Pretty interesting game, but got laggy after too many particles appeared on screen.

Seedling by Pixcel Studios 2015-12-16T16:20:00

Not much of a difficulty curve, but it's definitely a novel idea. Plus, nice music.

Guardian by TheMeorch 2015-12-21T01:25:00

A very interesting game! Even without sound, the mood can be felt quite clearly. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish it...

The Lost Wanderer by The Vall 2015-12-15T04:03:00

Pretty relaxing game, but a tad monotonous. Also, After I finished a level, everything went black and didn't come back.

Two Button Detective or a Story about Stolen Diamond by Si1ver 2015-12-15T17:45:00

Gah, got stuck on the pottery and couldn't move halfway through the game... Otherwise, pretty interesting game you're trying to pull off!

Dangerous Harvest by nelskj 2015-12-16T14:01:00

The randomization made it impossible to get some food or avoid some mushrooms, but I dig the art.

The Artifact by nunesbarbosa 2015-12-14T16:40:00

The whole feel of the game is pretty great, plus the two buttons that evolve is rather novel! Such a pity it's so short...

Back on Earth by anael 2015-12-15T15:34:00

Pretty interesting experience, with VERY nice art. Can be expanded upon, I'm sure.

Grove Guardians by broknecho 2015-12-16T11:54:00

A rather nice and relaxing game! The combined effect of the cute graphics and the soothing sounds was nice.

Pikki by RockhopperGames 2015-12-14T14:51:00

Could've been an interesting game, I'm sure!

The Flower by Sublustris 2015-12-19T10:25:00

Surprisingly frustrating at the beginning when you find out you can't turn around. Unfortunately, once you find the most optimum path, difficulty doesn't scale further, making it repetitive. Still, a nice game! Perhaps a proper ending?

Panda and Squirrel by merrak 2015-12-14T11:12:00

Impressive soundtrack, although it was a tad difficult to actually get any acorns. I ASSUME they're acorns because you said they were, it was hard to tell. Cardinals looked like fallen leaves. All I did was run and jump.

1 Button Wizard X2 by BoxedMeatRevolution 2015-12-15T05:54:00

Surprisingly deep game! Very impressive!

Eat and Run by Rudenko 2015-12-15T12:17:00

Nice art and gameplay idea, but I seem to bug out whenever an ant jumps on top of me.

From the Deep by scorched 2015-12-14T04:26:00

VERY nicely done! Props on the level design, it was pretty good, ESPECIALLY the THE END part.

Grow with the Flow by jww608 2015-12-16T16:47:00

The music is kinda pointless, seeing as the bars don't really follow the beat nor the tune. And the controls are a bit buggy at times. Still, good effort.

Evadanoid by Rex Peppers 2015-12-15T17:12:00

A pretty decent game, can definitely be improved on!

Sushi Roll by adsilcott 2015-12-19T02:28:00

Pretty well-polished game, although the random spawns sometimes makes it impossible. Still, well done!

Can't Jump by x92rwzb 2015-12-15T16:05:00

Interesting mechanic, although I'm sure it can be expanded upon further!

Terror Plant from outer Space by Tetha 2015-12-14T10:30:00

Very well-balanced game! Simple rules, yet surprisingly strategic and challenging! Well done!

AboveBelow by PaulJs 2015-12-14T17:19:00

Pretty interesting idea, although actually controlling the balls proves to be rather difficult.

A rather simple yet challenging game. Definitely suited for mobile.

Cornzilla by Saymon 2015-12-14T14:46:00

A little unpolished with odd controls, but otherwise an interesting game.

QATERPILLAR by Pilly 2015-12-14T09:36:00

Pretty fun game, not to mention difficult to get used to! It's pretty easy to cheese the last ladybug once you know how, though!

Grow The Hole by Elit3dGaming 2015-12-22T01:04:00

Pretty calming game, if rather simple.

Mt Etubo by thebrickanator 2015-12-28T13:40:00

Jeez Louise, this is a bloody difficult game. All my efforts end up chucking them into the volcano. Otherwise, pretty great game!

An Exponential Problem by LastResortGames 2015-12-15T16:30:00

A surprisingly relaxing and tense game at the same time. The graphics are too small to make out details, though, and clicking on such tiny targets that move so fast is annoying.

FLOW by Romixal 2015-12-14T17:35:00

Got one puzzle piece. Interesting game with nice atmosphere, but not very captivating.

SWOOP/POOP by Foofanoo42 2015-12-14T11:16:00

I came, I swooped, I pooped. A rather simple game, but simple isn't bad~

Attack of the Vikings by terryg 2015-12-26T07:20:00

Kind of frustrating, since the flinging isn't responsive and the player gets in the way. Otherwise, an interesting idea.

Spindulum by yuigoto 2015-12-30T05:00:00

Definitely feels like a nice mobile game. Controls would probably be improved if it simply followed the mouse instead, as the arrow key movements were incredibly hard to control. Otherwise, it's an interesting idea, executed well with polish!

Dungeon Wheel by BeardyBard 2015-12-16T14:47:00

Stellar art and interesting gameplay! Far too random, though, but I appreciate the ability to choose when to stay and roll.

Wargraph by kirilllosev 2015-12-15T15:55:00

Is this how Luftrausers is supposed to be played? Whatever it is, it was pretty damn awesome! The background made you feel like you were going WAY faster than you really were!

No Birds In This Game by Grahhhhh 2015-12-19T02:21:00

God, that ant is TINY. Otherwise, a pretty interesting game with no birds in it. Great job!

Snow Grow by johanw123 2015-12-15T15:20:00

Pretty fun game, although the instructions are BLOODY hard to read.

Yggshroom by Ghen 2015-12-14T13:42:00

Pretty damn fun game, forcing the player to juggle three different resources. Well done! (The walking sound effect got super annoying super fast, though)

Germicide by scottthoo 2015-12-14T17:56:00

Incredibly well-polished game! Quite frustrating on some levels, though, but this can be a legit game!

Flower Power by RikkyPikki 2015-12-19T11:16:00

A pretty damn interesting game! Difficult, but fairly so! I like how you have to juggle how high each flower can grow. Well done!

Sir Carrot by Adolf Jong Un 2015-12-19T12:48:00

Managed to get to the end. What a bittersweet ending... I can't believed I spent so much time on that game! The user interface could definitely use some work, though, it was difficult to tell what does what.

L00k by sutopat 2015-12-14T13:08:00

Pretty interesting concept, although the experience itself seems lacking. Perhaps I'm missing something?

Below the belt by kill0u 2015-12-16T14:06:00

Pretty cool game, although there wasn't a lot of control... And it got really difficult near the end.

Little Big Dash by Evannex 2015-12-14T17:10:00

Neat concept, but the game moves too fast to actually learn how to use the mechanics properly.

Power Disney Princess Simulator 5000 by socapex 2015-12-16T14:59:00

Rather buggy, but the game has potential.

SpaceBall by piluve 2015-12-14T13:35:00

The soundtrack, the graphics, the whole aesthetic was very nice~ The gameplay was pretty linear and easy, though.

2 button metroidvania by JaJ 2015-12-15T07:45:00

Holy shit, this is amazing. Wonderful graphics, nice music and sfx, interesting puzzles, all with two buttons! Also got the secret ending!

Grow Up! by sergear 2015-12-14T17:00:00

Wonderful aesthetics, but the randomization of enemies is frustratingly difficult. So many impossible spots...

Snowy Smasher by Reversal Mirror 2015-12-16T15:04:00

Rather hard to control, but otherwise an okay game.

Grow Beat by MCRewind 2015-12-14T09:03:00

Jeez, this game is finicky. Sometimes I jump high, sometimes I don't. Maybe I'm missing something.

Two Buttons Left by jerry111zhang 2015-12-14T08:08:00

Huh. That was a lot more interesting than I expected... Interesting storyline, a lot more depth than it seems.

Holiday Rejects by local306 2015-12-16T01:33:00

Pretty challenging game! With the positioning of the pistons, it was hard to coordinate which should be pushed!

Toy Garden by Team>Nice 2015-12-16T16:56:00

A very nice experience. I'd complain about the slow progress, but it looks like it's meant to be slow and relaxing.

Tank Planet by MrNyarlathotep 2015-12-15T14:16:00

Controls really well, but it's rather difficult. Good job, either way!

Combo Farm by Silverfyre 2015-12-15T01:24:00

Pretty cool puzzle game! Should have mobile support! Unsure of how combos work, though.

Downfall in Polarity by danielsann7 2015-12-14T16:47:00

The hitbox is a bit odd, leading to quite a few deaths on the first level. And Level 2 is just straight up bonkers. And you have to restart on death...

Trick Shot by RadMcCool 2015-12-16T16:11:00

Not a bad game, but once I started missing balls on the bouncing level, the sounds overwhelmed me.

Hello Darkness by jcmonkey 2015-12-15T01:12:00

Rather tedious game, since it's mostly trial and error with little challenge.

Don't Stop Drilling by VideoDog 2015-12-16T12:56:00

A pretty fun game! Took a bit of getting used to, though, but I'm impressed you managed to include a shop!

Feed The Baby by treslapin 2015-12-15T15:39:00

Never before has flinging food at a baby been so fun. I mean, more than usual.

Button Betting by torcado 2015-12-19T02:09:00

This was incredibly fun, and had quite a bit of depth to it! Well done!

SLUG STORM by Niels.Tiercelin 2015-12-19T07:51:00

Nice and polished looking game, but the way the ship handles was really wonky. Still, it was fun!

Star Reach by alexfoo 2015-12-17T16:20:00

A bit too easy, it seems, not to mention it starts to lag when there's too many branches. Otherwise, a soothing, relaxing game.

Pyromaniac 3 -- 2 by _benhumphries 2015-12-15T01:38:00

A surprisingly relaxing game! A bit easy, though.

Sam and Mas Two Button Attack Game - MULTIPLAYER ONLY, two people required to play by richardboegli 2015-12-17T15:58:00

Kinda bare-bones, but it works.

Zombie Hammer-Smash Acrobatics by Khamekaze 2015-12-16T15:45:00

Pretty interesting mechanic, but it's really hard to consistently land the jumps and stomps.

2DCube Simulator by olety 2015-12-16T13:26:00

Not much of a game, but it's something.

Mariana e Juliana by marianask 2015-12-16T16:40:00

Space made it EASIER! A little wonky on the controls...

Snowman's Christmas by beetracks 2016-01-01T16:57:00

Pretty cool game, although I'm not sure why the player couldn't just use left and right for the jumping. Otherwise, it looks very well-polished.

Boxage 263 by swellbastion 2015-12-14T07:31:00

Managed to beat the game. Man, this game is unforgiving and unintuitive... Definitely a challenge.

Grow by mitya1234 2015-12-21T11:58:00

Interesting game, but I found a gamebreaking bug. If you plant directly beside a white triangle, clicking on the triangle nets you points WITHOUT consuming it and without growing anything. In other words, infinite move farming. Needless to say, getting to the end was super easy after that.

Dashmageddon by Mikaza 2015-12-17T01:01:00

Rather difficult game, since the red seeds linger and stop you from moving around. Still, a neat idea!

Beatz! by PC Ferreira 2015-12-15T02:40:00

Funky soundtrack, and with an interesting blend of twin-stick shooting and rhythm games! Well done!

V.I.R.U.S by Erwann Depaeuw 2015-12-16T13:26:00

If there's any game that gets 5 stars in Mood, it's this one.

Tile Breaker Revolution by lXxGarrisonxXl 2015-12-14T07:55:00

Really nice soundtrack, like you said! Unfortunately, I broke the game by embedding the ball in the wall too deep for a boost to help. Oh well.

FarmFactor by theviraldragon 2015-12-16T13:33:00

It was an interesting game. Wonder what engine you used...

Sentient Sewage by blakeohare 2015-12-15T06:44:00

Fun, innovative game, and nice graphics to boot! Well done!

City Strike by PeachTreeOath 2015-12-17T15:49:00

Weird mechanics, and took a bit of getting used to, but otherwise an interesting game!

iScroll by BigBrother 2015-12-16T13:58:00

Kinda odd game, with two of the obstacles being really easy because there's no need to jump. Still, not bad for such a limited engine.

Tubutten Beetle by YinYin 2015-12-15T00:57:00

A simple, yet fun game! I like how you made the game fair in terms of reacting to obstacles!

Conservation of Ninjutsu by kuhnerdm 2015-12-14T11:02:00

Pretty good game! Took me a few tries to figure out that you had to HOLD DOWN the buttons instead of tap them. Once I understood that, it was pretty enjoyable.

A rather standard game, though done a bit differently.

Holy shit, this game is damn well-polished! Love the sound effects, the gameplay, the art, everything!

Tequila Cactus by JeffCODEblum 2015-12-14T07:10:00

Simple, yet brutally difficult game. An indicator of which direction you're facing would make the game MUCH easier!

Dance You Fools! by Beefsports 2015-12-20T08:36:00

A rather simple game. Is it just me, or is the timer too long? Fingers were burning after one round...

Defend the Earth by PsyonBurst 2015-12-15T10:47:00

A rather simple game, although the startup is a tad slow.

Third level was genuinely challenging without being unfair. Nice game with funny art!

Trash Mountain by teamross 2015-12-14T18:01:00

Pretty difficult game, seeing as it's hard to dodge items falling on your head. Otherwise, kinda fun.

Face Off: Retrieve Your Face by epicTCK 2015-12-15T17:50:00

A tad wonky and buggy, but there's definitely potential.

Bloody hard to control, but otherwise fun!

Beetle Thomas by NuggetTeam 2015-12-16T16:43:00

Rather difficult game, seeing as there's no clear indicator on what's what... Otherwise, it looks nice.

The Climbers by NirabazGAMES 2015-12-19T09:54:00

A little wonky and buggy (it crashed on me once), but otherwise has a lot of potential!

Fight Boý by ssodelta 2015-12-19T13:44:00

Pretty cool game! The moves are a bit hard to pull off, though, and dashes are the easiest to do, so that's all I did. And I like how the belt changes color the more people you kill, nice touch!

GURU by TomenLuca 2015-12-19T10:11:00

That was a fantastic game! My kind of shit right there! Funny, witty, tactical, all the good stuff! Didn't get to reach the last boss, though...

Jeez, this game is bloody hard! Barely any time to react to the obstacles... Otherwise, it's rather well-polished.

a choice of weapon by munchor 2015-12-27T15:50:00

Rather difficult, since some of the boxes flew in an arc that made it impossible to hit. The hitbox is a tad wonky, and the machine gun is rather uneconomical. Other than that, an interesting game.

Feed Me by snowshovelboy 2015-12-16T13:54:00

Silly music, and interesting gameplay. Not bad!

SHOOT'N GROW by guru-guru 2015-12-16T12:39:00

Pretty damn fun game! The timed shop was interesting and controls pacing well, but ultimately you'll become obscenely strong at the end!

Epic ooze escape by speciesUnknown 2015-12-19T16:11:00

Ooooh, an old school dungeon crawler! The growing ooze adds a whole new dimension to the gameplay, which is nice! Also, curse that minotaur...

ReachTheTop by coldman 2015-12-16T15:25:00

Too few enemies plus huge prices makes me sad.

Sphaera by J08nY 2015-12-15T16:18:00

My score is... 6.9770999742897....? Rather difficult game, though!

Magnetoids by dj_pale 2015-12-16T11:57:00

Pretty difficult, but also pretty fun! Nice idea!

LD35 — Shapeshift

Go Shape Yourself by Elemental Zeal Games Studios 2016-04-19T00:36:00

Good use of shapeshifter mechanics to make a bullet-hell game! The bullets are slow enough to build up and trap the player, at the same time giving them time to switch to the appropriate shape. Good job!

Beyond Human by Martin Enderleit 2016-04-18T12:57:00

A promising puzzle game. A bit too short and easy, but I'm sure the finished product will be better.

Shape/Shift by GodsBoss 2016-04-18T12:17:00

That was surprisingly clever! You made sure the players understood all of the mechanics before getting really tricky~ There were one or two puzzles where I could solve without using everything given to me, but all in all, a nice brain-bender~

Werepenguin's Escape by SmilingCat 2016-04-18T15:18:00

Interesting game, although it was a bit hard to navigate without being able to see a whole lot of the map at once. Still, a novel idea!

QWER by orukinawa 2016-04-18T12:41:00

Hell, that wasn't as easy as I thought. Especially when those goddamn shapes flew away. Brain farted surprisingly often during the playthrough, well done!

The monster and the mouse by albinobat 2016-04-19T15:21:00

Haha! This exceeded my expectations! Very well designed in terms of the mechanics, as killing a weaker enemy made you just as weak... And you surrounded the final boss with all the small enemies, too! Jolly good show!

OFFLOAD by Anupam Coleman 2016-04-19T11:10:00

A little too simple, but I suppose it works. A bit odd that it extends downwards only.

Blob Shaped Bob by ftvs 2016-04-19T15:25:00

Surprisingly nice mechanics! Really cool that simply moving allows you to change shape, and the level forces you to constantly move!

SUPER DEEP GAME BRO by Membrane 2016-04-18T14:30:00

I have no idea what I just played, but it's rather nice to make a tower of brain-dead people to get money.

Plato and the 'Caves by qu2 2016-04-19T00:30:00

Pretty interesting roguelike! Rather difficult to get a hang of, though, with some things being unclear. For instance, the message that pops up when I pick up the bomb disappears too quickly.

Will it Shapeshift? by plantprogrammer 2016-04-18T15:00:00

Well. That was an experience. Too many chicks came out and I got stuck. Still, surprisingly fun.

Ghost Arena! by thiagowaw 2016-04-18T12:38:00

Not bad~ Definitely has nice art and promising gameplay, although the lack of content made it really repetitive really fast.

Tales of Atom by desmondyeong 2016-04-19T06:43:00

Man, this game is difficult... The movements and physics are also incredibly weird at times. Like, why does the lightning form make you move BACKWARDS in lava? Still, it has potential to be an interesting puzzle game.

LD36 — Ancient Technology

The Cursed Farmer by KLegacy 2016-08-29T19:11:00

An interesting simulation game. Took a while to get what was going on. Also, surprisingly difficult to make a profit!

Cronus' Tomb by Mr_Field 2016-08-30T06:04:00

By far one of the most impressive games I've seen in this jam! Great art and sound, fun gameplay, and very well-polished! I couldn't progress after the boss because I killed her outside the screen and she dropped her gem outside, though. Other than that, excellent work!

Trireme by MarekkPie 2016-08-29T20:00:00

Took me a moment to figure out what to do and what was going on, but I caught on after a while. A pretty interesting and fast-paced game when going against the clock. Well done!

THE BOX by ReboundGames 2016-08-30T20:55:00

Gah, couldn't get the ninth one. Still, a pretty interesting puzzle game, and very nice riddles. Well done!

Pen and paper by RasmusErik 2016-08-29T05:10:00

Lovely 'art', challenging game. Computer plays more or less perfectly... Still, well done!

Flying Flip Phone by appleskin 2016-09-01T17:11:00

Gah. Crazy hard game. Sounds get a little repetitive after a bit... Otherwise, an interesting entry.

TOS Legends by Strike 2016-08-31T20:43:00

Hooooly shit, this blew my mind. It definitely had the retro feel, but it was clearly a modern 3D game... Finished it on the first try, though, so not as hard as the games of yore! Music was solid, art was nice. Boss was too easy after I got the gun that shot 5 bullets at once. All in all, a very well-polished tribute. Love it.

Way of the Gear [Unfinished] by HacksawUnit 2016-09-01T11:22:00

A pity this wasn't finished, the mechanics seem very promising! Graphics and sound were pretty good. The platforming is a little off, though, especially when jumping up against walls.

Classic Connect by ToadieTechnika 2016-08-29T20:19:00

Very well polished entry! I do adore typing games, and this one was pretty good! Lots of variety and little tricks to make things difficult... I noticed it was designed for people who learnt how to type, seeing as you used things like the ASDFJKL strings that are taught in classes. Interesting niche!

The Museum by RhythmLynx 2016-08-29T19:16:00

Pretty humorous game! As short and simple as it was, I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Guidance by Avalanche Games 2016-08-30T04:51:00

A pretty simple game, but the art and atmosphere is nice. Has a lot of promise!

The Awakening of the Golem by DragonZBW (SparkLight Games) 2016-08-30T06:21:00

This was a pretty cool game! Despite the controls being a bit slippery, it definitely felt like I was piloting a golem. Slow and unresponsive. Loved the soundtrack, and the art was surprisingly nice for something so simple. Rather polished experience overall. Well done!

Agent 3310 by TomBuston 2016-09-02T17:06:00

A pretty short but interesting puzzle game. I finished it in the end, but a lot of times, sending messages seemed to be broken. I'd send the same message a few times, knowing it's the right answer, but it doesn't proc the next stage. After a bit of resetting, got it in the end.

Ancient Wind by c4m 2016-08-29T15:26:00

Pretty atmospheric, but also pretty broken at places. And if there was a puzzle, I have no clue how to solve it. I'll keep trying though, this has promise!

Old N' Fashioned? by tomer_cool 2016-08-29T15:41:00

Okay, that got a good laugh out of me. Well done on making this game, a little polish and it'd be great! Glad to see someone so young finish making a game, that's more than many adults can say!

Phone Inventor by Xlip 2016-08-29T03:49:00

Interesting game with an interesting mechanic. Surprisingly difficult!

There is no instructions!? by nitroix 2016-08-29T23:27:00

Got pretty far into the game, only failed to open the last 2 doors, deer and man with pig. I tried to force the final doors open, but dial no. 8 made a duplicate of itself and bugged out. Interesting game, would play for 3 hours again.

Atlatl Hunter by Zaretsu 2016-08-29T04:02:00

Pretty bare-bones, and the mammoth was surprisingly tough... Couldn't tell when it was killed until you touched it, which was odd. Still, a good effort!

S**ON by jakatpemadi 2016-08-29T15:52:00

What.

What.

WHAT.

I love it.

Stoneheart by raspofabs 2016-08-30T21:16:00

Took me a while to figure out what was going on in the game, but after a while, I got the hang of it. The puzzles are VERY well designed, and a few of them had me scratching my head at times. Or maybe I'm just sleepy. Nice art and music + good puzzles = a great game!

Sumer Game by Rico The Jammer 2016-08-29T05:50:00

Very interesting gameplay... but hell if I can sit through and finish one whole tablet! Has a lot of promise, though, and I can cross off writing in Akkadian off my bucket list.

Another Day With Grandpa by hawkinslance 2016-08-29T23:43:00

That was.... interesting, to say the least. It's a pretty simple game, but using the narrative as a means of keeping the player interested? Not a bad idea at all. Pretty hard to survive for 5 minutes, though!

A little tower. by UnknownEvil 2016-08-29T19:44:00

Game seems to be broken for me.

Artefact-O 36 by SamuelSousa 2016-08-29T16:06:00

Preeeeetty trippy. Definitely had my attention. Besides the mindscrewing, it's a pretty neat game, simple and fun with lots of twists!

Archimagic by onyon 2016-08-29T15:47:00

You were NOT kidding when you said this was difficult. The moment I saw that Twitch link proving that it could be beat, I had a feeling it'd kick my ass. And it did. Other than that, the art and sound is pretty good!

Pyramid AI by Deive_Ex 2016-09-05T11:07:00

An interesting game! The controls were a bit funny, since the mouse and arrow keys are used by the right hand. Sure, they thankfully aren't used at the same time, but it's still very awkward for my hand to switch between the two over and over. Other than that, it was a reasonably difficult yet fun game.

The Ancient Shaman by ulanda 2016-08-29T19:25:00

Took me a LONG while to figure out what was going on. Very interesting.

Ancient Quandary by Ultrachessmaster 2016-08-29T03:56:00

Finally beat the game. Took me a while to figure out what to do... But it's still an interesting mechanic.

Pocket Worlds by systencegames 2016-08-30T20:39:00

Pretty short and simple, but it has promise. With a bit more time, I'm sure you can turn this into something more fun!

Ninurta: Granary Defense by kraiom 2016-08-31T13:44:00

Surprisingly hard game. The season abilities are a nice touch, although very limited in actual use. You're forced to use one season for quite some time, and it may not necessarily be the one you need at the moment. With the rate of how monsters spawn and you shoot arrows, it's almost impossible to hold them back. Either way, it's a nice game.

Project CAT by Des 2016-08-29T09:50:00

Pretty responsive gameplay, although it sucks when you're spawned in and immediately killed by a nearby mummy.

Orgog's Prison by Fib 2016-09-01T11:18:00

Pretty damn difficult game, with a few hiccups here and there with terrain collision. And the sound of orcs constantly roaring gets to you after a while. Still, a pretty fun entry!

Village Store by euske 2016-08-29T20:26:00

This was a pretty fun game! The math was thankfully easy, since all you needed to do was find the last digit and choose the right one out of a list. The arranging part was kinda wonky at times, though, but otherwise, it was a fun challenge! Well done!

Past Live by Ysty 2016-08-29T20:14:00

Definitely an interesting idea! I like the different takes on the future when things were changed for better or worse.

The Shattered Beacon by Starspell 2016-09-01T17:02:00

Seems like you spent a lot of time on the animation of the artifact and the character instead of the whole game. It has promise, if you continue to make more content for it and iron out the kinks.

Baba Yaga by Azlen 2016-08-29T05:04:00

Surprisingly difficult to control. Angling forward doesn't seem to work at all.

Ancient Snake by jimmynoshoes 2016-09-01T17:05:00

Hah, I was wondering if someone would make something like this. Nothing much to say about it, although choosing when to start would be nice. The constant dying sounds are rather loud.

Stone Age Clicker by ZYXer 2016-09-18T19:41:00

A really nice clicker game! I loved the balancing at the start, where I actually had to decide when to put people in and when to take them out, due to how few resources I had. Near the end-game, though, by the time I had enough resources to craft the clicking bonuses, it just wasn't worth it. Not to mention, with the final product being made out of solid gold, I took everybody out of their stations and solely dedicated them to farming wood and stone, before making tons of gold mines. Really trivialized all the end-game content I had to unlock to reach then.

Still, overall, a very fun experience. Nice art, nice sounds and soundtrack. Well done!

Pix Eliz Great tiny adventure by mat1er 2016-08-29T19:33:00

Interesting little game, but hella difficult. Wish I could finish it, but the jumping puzzles are killer, not to mention the odd camera movement that makes you lose track of your character. But still, it has promise!

ARCHAEA TERATA by invi 2016-08-29T19:06:00

Very well polished as usual! Collisions are pretty buggy, though, as 2/3 times I played it, I managed to clip through the wall and out of reach of the monsters. (First time, I died in 2 seconds since I couldn't figure out what to do.) Otherwise, damn fun to play, everything's very visceral with nice feedback.

Temple of the Sky People by MiniBobbo 2016-08-31T20:50:00

A short little game, but it proves your concept. The platforming is pretty good, but Metroidvania-wise it could use less linearity. I have a feeling you'll fix that if you continue working on it, though! Solid art and gameplay. Also, screw you for the bait and switch for the club! XD

Catapult by g_o 2016-08-29T10:05:00

A little tricky to play, surprisingly, and you weren't kidding about it being unstable. But good effort, nonetheless.

Gear Kitty by Raiyumi 2016-09-01T10:28:00

A very well polished game! Great soundtrack, pretty art, and tight platforming! The gear and jumping puzzles were simple but well done. A game oozing with charm, well done! Has potential if you continue working on it.

Sky Road by crazyrems 2016-08-29T04:21:00

Pity it's not complete, it has a lot of promise! Flying mechanics are spot on!

City of Words by ethankennerly 2016-08-29T19:55:00

I thought my English was good. Then I played this game. Couldn't make it too far, and I was too proud to look up the answers or use hints. Still, a nice game!

Place of Power by flazm 2016-09-01T12:51:00

Jeez. I didn't expect to play this game for more than an hour! At first, I almost stopped playing, but then the experimental stage came into play, and before you know it, I had made a spreadsheet on the most efficient uses for each resource. It was surprisingly fun, and the art and music were pretty good too! Well done!

The Huckster by MrBrenan 2016-08-30T00:09:00

Pretty interesting game! Unfortunately, I got stuck on one of the puzzles and couldn't proceed, but the atmosphere was nice and the puzzles were reasonable.

Bullet Reality by Frump 2016-09-02T15:58:00

Oooh, a bullet hell game. Interesting~ I like how you have 2 flying modes for different playstyles; definitely helped me through the game. The inability to move forward and backward, though, definitely made it pretty damn hard to avoid the bullets or enemies at times when you're cornered. Other than that, it has nice art and a cool soundtrack, even though it's lacking in SFX. Good game!

Retro Player by justinooncx 2016-08-31T13:23:00

@ocarson Currently, if you want to see the boss, you'll have to go to the post-jam link. The game that's embedded right now is version 1.0, so that people will see what I came up with in 48 hours without the improvements afterwards. Just to make things fair. Thanks for playing, though!

Retro Player by justinooncx 2016-09-01T16:07:00

@Strike Thanks for the feedback! There were a few limitations that I had to adhere to when making this game:

a) Mouse controls were a must. As much as I wanted to have a proper Game Boy control layout, it would be rather unplayable on mobile. And having onscreen buttons and joysticks are tacky as hell.

b) Low resolution. To keep to the retro feel, I had to sacrifice space, which made fitting in the UI pretty hard. I decided to leave the score at the end after all it's done. As for a leaderboard thing, well, that was kinda tricky as well.

Again, thanks for playing!

Zombieval by Terrabalt 2016-08-29T19:16:00

A nice and simple game! The game didn't run too well on my com, though, and the huge number of zombies didn't help either. Still, it was fun while it lasted!

Cavemind by shimage 2016-08-31T04:06:00

Heh, that was a pretty interesting game! At first, I thought it was a match-3, but then I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was a combining game. Pretty neat idea, well done!

Babel by johnbjuice 2016-08-30T17:53:00

A really nice game! A combination of hectic platforming and typing... The speed was a LITTLE too fast, but not unmanagable; it allowed me to zoom over one block gaps. It made jumping THROUGH the one block gaps from the bottom a nightmare, though. K and X look really similar, and I keep mixing them up, although I guess it's simply the fault of the font.

Also, thank you for the detailed feedback on Retro Player, there will be a post-jam version that should fix some of your concerns.

Good luck on your future games!

The Last Blacksmith by Cliff Lee CL 2016-08-31T20:29:00

This was actually a pretty interesting one! It took a while to get the hang of crafting stuff, but it was quite fun once I got the gist of it. Pretty damn hard, though. Good job.

Disgolem by ocarson 2016-08-31T13:31:00

This was a lot harder than I thought it would be! For one, the notes were usually off-beat from the main music, so it was really hard to get the right rhythm down. And at times, when I press it on what SEEMS to be on beat, it doesn't work.

Still, I love the mechanic of actually CONTROLLING where the golems move using the beat. That's pretty novel.

Good job, guys!

Ancient Techno Low-G by Kassimkot 2016-08-29T04:50:00

Interesting game, but unfortunately, I can't seem to play properly without a controller.

It Started Out With A Brick by peterthehe 2016-08-29T15:57:00

Not a game, per se, but it WAS rather therapeutic to watch things fall on the ragdolls and send them flying.

Avastory by Devark 2016-08-31T11:05:00

It looks like it wants to be a Metroidvania, with an interesting backstory. Nice art and music, for sure. The boss was reasonably challenging, although I was bummed it ended right there. Or at least, I couldn't get out of the room. Still, it has quite a lot of promise if you plan on finishing it.

Mr. BigCash by scorched 2016-09-02T15:33:00

Pretty interesting puzzle game! The art is really nice, and the mechanics are easy to grasp and understand! I didn't get very far due to a few deaths, but I'm assuming most of the gameplay has got to do with the burly dude rather than the chick. She seems like a tacked on character, but you may have had some puzzles for her to solve in the later levels. Hopefully. Either way, good game!

Caveman Invasion by fixedgerald 2016-08-29T15:13:00

A really fun game! Sweet tunes and simple graphics, although the angling of the cannon becomes obsolete when you realize you can just aim STRAIGHT at them and fire. But the color changing part definitely makes it harder. Nice job!

New Ancient Adventures by pyokoanarogue 2016-09-02T06:35:00

That was somewhat disorienting, with the water flowing in the background and the background blocks making it hard to tell what's a wall and what isn't. There also seems to be a lack of proper platforming challenge, and it's simply a puzzle switch game.

Still, the art is solid, and the so is the platforming. Not a bad experience at all, could be a pretty cool Metroidvania. Also, is that Neptune??

Clockwork Dragon by wilsk 2016-08-31T13:20:00

Oooooh my goodness gracious me. I loved this game. The narration was very nice, helped me empathize with the mechanical dragon and set a surprisingly emotional tone to the whole thing... And the gameplay was rather fun too, flying around and roaring at villages. And then I got the egg, and then it hatched... The tiny little roar my baby dragon makes after I roar just melted my heart.

One issue with the gameplay was that I found it much easier to just camp outside the closest village north and spam my strongest attack until I had no inventory space, then return. I had 0 need to fly out further.

Other than that, a stellar game. First game in the jam to make me feel. And the voxel art is great!

ShroomMan by monstersauce 2016-09-01T10:26:00

Interesting game with cute graphics. First time, I didn't know how to stay alive, since the pickups were blending in with the background rather well and looked like part of the scenery. Once I got the hang of it, though, it became rather hard to lose... Still, a nice effort with good polish!

Sentinel by Ilseroth 2016-08-30T20:29:00

This game is dripping with atmosphere, and despite the somewhat low graphics, it still comes together quite nicely. The lock on was a little wonky, with the robot being so tall that the camera would be at an odd angle. Makes it really hard to avoid the bullets. Otherwise, very well done, a pretty cool game!

Super Cute DNA Sucker! by larkkkattack 2016-09-01T14:46:00

Pretty fun experience. The gameplay's simple and cathartic, but the hitboxes of the enemy seem a bit too unforgiving. And it feels kinda pointless when the game doesn't keep track of how many enemies you killed... Still, good job.

Heroes Tavern by korvyashka 2016-09-01T17:40:00

Interesting game with nice art. Unfortunately, the inability to pick which item goes to whom makes it difficult to play effectively, forcing you to wait until the person that is in the way leaves. With a bit of balancing, this could be pretty fun.

Complexity Beam by minnouu 2016-08-29T04:27:00

Interesting mechanic! Surprisingly challenging as well, and like it's namesake, gets complex at times. Nice job.

The Switch - Worker by Ghen 2016-08-29T19:43:00

Pretty good game! I thought it would be really complex, but it turned out to be easy to understand and hard to master. And the difficulty ramped up just nice as well. Good job!

Caveman Battle by spatanz 2016-08-29T04:17:00

Interesting game! Had no second player to test with, but knocking back and forth the stones seems like a cool idea.

Sacrifice by tayl1r 2016-08-29T05:14:00

How macabre! Deciding who would be sacrificed next was interesting, but did their stats play a role, or were they merely to give us a bias on who to sacrifice? Either way, a short but interesting experience!

Tomb Robbers by facelesstheone 2016-08-29T15:34:00

Pretty cool idea! I like how you force the player to focus on so many different places at once... It's quite challenging, and the difficulty scales nicely. Well done!

Project Agriculture - Metro-style by jaydonteh 2016-08-29T20:05:00

Pretty interesting concept! Very abstract way of visualizing agriculture, but soon I got the hang of it.

Aliens' Curse by Piotrek 2016-09-02T20:19:00

Hm, let's see... The game seems pretty alright as a whole, but there are quite a few things to nitpick. Platforming is a little wonky, with slightly slippery movement and delayed jumps. The exposition was also very annoying with no way to skip it, totally breaking the flow of the game. Shooting the enemies ended in wildly varying results; using the last rifle in the game, I killed the first zombie in one hit, then the next in 5. No idea why.

Other than that, nice music and solid art. The game has promise, for sure.

Siege of Scarborough Castle by masterkrepta 2016-08-29T04:09:00

That was surprisingly difficult. It was hard to gauge where exactly you were shooting, and the targeting felt pretty slow. But still, a nice job!

Restonerant by wrexialmt 2016-08-29T23:58:00

Wow, a really well polished game! The clicking is a bit tight, though, which makes it hard to drag and drop stuff sometimes. But otherwise, a great game with a lot of depth and challenge!

Double puzzle dungeon by Decentsauce 2016-09-01T07:26:00

Well. Actually found the end after a brief search. This game has promise, but it's incredibly short and bare-bones at the moment. To be done in 10 hours, though, that's a pretty good effort!

The Seven Wonders of Technology by loveapplegames 2016-08-31T14:31:00

7 games??? That's pretty impressive. But hell, almost all of them were BLOODY DIFFICULT. That's not necessarily a bad thing, though. Also, I collected all the honey in the 1st level and didn't win. If you expect me to kill all the bees too, you have another thing coming!

Still, pretty impressive.

Super Cave Man by antglynn 2016-09-01T16:20:00

Gah. That platforming... So slippery and short! But I guess that's the nature of the game you were trying to make: bloody difficult. A little short, but the difficulty does extend the playtime.

<GAME NAME> by Patacorow 2016-09-01T16:50:00

The game has nice art and music going for it, now just to finish up the gameplay and story and whathaveyou. Attacking wasn't functioning for me, and I got stuck on some terrain here and there, but I assume those would be fixed. Feels like a high-def Hyper Light Drifter.

Raiders of the cursed Temple by McMutton 2016-08-29T05:21:00

Maaaan, that art-style is DOPE. That's as retro as you can get! Gameplay wise, it was a bit confusing to navigate, and difficult to fight, but I enjoyed it quite a bit. Well done!

Lost Temple by Dietrich Epp 2016-08-30T20:33:00

A short, yet very well-polished game! Love the art and the atmosphere, and the puzzles were pretty interesting. Has a lot of promise if you continue with it!

Tech Support, 3162 by KingEthaniel 2016-08-29T04:47:00

Got 11 endings! Some numbers seem to overlap with one another for some reason. Besides the sharp music, an enjoyable experience!

Primal Survival by jemooi 2016-08-31T09:33:00

A pretty simple game, not much to say here. I like the style you chose, like cave paintings, as well as the 'technology' that the player will decide to use.

Ogg and the Obelisk by SimonHutchinson 2016-08-29T23:37:00

Interesting piece of work. There doesn't seem to be a win/lose condition, just keeps bouncing back and forth from two people... Am I missing something? Otherwise, the game has a really nice feel to it!

God'sPlagueFighter2000BC by MaTeX-7seven 2016-08-29T04:55:00

A pretty darn complicated game. Lots of things to do with pretty odd controls... The idea is pretty cool, though!

LD37 — One room

KillThatHipster! by Tauka 2016-12-12T08:05:00

Interesting game, but a little broken. Standing at one corner and holding down the fire button is more than enough to get to level 5. And then suddenly a TON of hipsters and Bills lag up the screen and kill you without you being able to do anything. Wat.

keturi by mitkus 2016-12-12T17:18:00

Despite the simplistic art, the gameplay had quite a bit of depth to it! The mechanics were quite engaging, and it had a strategy-puzzle feel to it. Very good entry, well done!

Polygon by jakebooyah 2016-12-12T05:52:00

I, uh, finished it... but I'm more confused than ever. Either it's really simple, or I got really lucky in guessing things right. Either way, an interesting interactive experience.

hoplitelite by Attrition 2016-12-12T06:52:00

A really fun puzzle game! I wish I could say more about it, but I can't really see any glaring flaws at all. Well done!

Chamber Talk by invi 2016-12-12T15:16:00

Well. That was a wild ride. Died 12 times on the first ending, 3 on the second. The humor is not bad~

Detective Noword and the case of the floor tiles by dunin 2016-12-12T17:46:00

That was actually pretty cool! The art and music were very well done. The mystery itself was a bit of a stretch, but eh, it still gets the message across. Well done!

2D Cat Wants Out by Tuism 2016-12-12T14:40:00

A very nice puzzle game! Simple to understand, difficult to master. The jumping is a little broken, though, allowing me to super jump every now and then... Also, when you finish the game and go back to the menu screen, the BGM overlaps on itself. Other than that, very nice!

use your IMAGINATION, quick!!!! by sepharoth213 2016-12-12T17:23:00

Interesting entry. The fact that the graphics took a while to load up meant my first few tries were incredibly confusing. Not that it got any less confusing when stuff started flying around the screen! Still, it wasn't a bad game at all!

Kak Yah Nasi Lemak by UekiShurei 2016-12-12T06:02:00

An interesting game. It gets a bit buggy though, when I can't fulfill someone's order even though I made it perfectly... The order gets stuck there and never leaves. Other than that, a nice management and matching game.

Sleep Well by vini60 2016-12-12T05:42:00

Pretty solid entry! The bullet count is a bit bugged, since it only shows the first number when you start getting bullets in the double digits. Otherwise, the aesthetics are consistent and fitting, and the gameplay is cathartic. Well done.

LD38 — A Small World

Edge of the Abyss by piscythe 2017-05-09T16:53:47Z

A bit hard to get used to in the beginning, and surprisingly challenging! It's a pretty complete experience, although plays out more like a tower defense game rather than an RTS, seeing as there was no offensive goal. Not a lot of info was given on the units and buildings, but I suppose it lends some form of experimentation for replay value. A pretty solid entry!

Escape to the Stars by justinooncx 2017-04-30T08:40:31Z

@jushiip Thank you for taking the time to play~ The second objective is the final objective, so you were quite close to completing it. The average time of beating the game is about 10-15 minutes long. Once I get some time, I'll try out your game as well!

Leucos by Harry Alissavakis 2017-05-10T07:26:35Z

A really simple and cute game! The controls felt good, although the angle of the camera made it hard to see when enemies were coming from the bottom. The aiming felt a bit off, but it wasn't bad enough to stop me from playing. The powerups being in hard to reach places was a good design choice, forcing players to take risks. Overall, a cathartic and enjoyable experience~

Escape From A Moon by ValerioSevilla 2017-05-03T12:55:30Z

Simple, and somewhat challenging game! The graphics were nice and consistent, although perhaps some sound wouldn't hurt. Or maybe because it's in space... Still, it was a short and sweet ride with reasonable challenges. Also wondering why health is necessary when hitting the spikes kills you instantly...

Quantum Catburetor by jushiip 2017-05-03T12:46:47Z

Very polished game, if not rather simple~ Sound and graphics are pretty awesome, although the odd camera effects do make it rather nauseating to play after some time. Still, it's pretty cathartic fun, well done!

LD39 — Running out of Power

Achluophobia by Ajayajayaj 2017-08-03T16:56:44Z

This was certainly an interesting entry~ The game has this.. rather strange difficulty curve! Killing enemies with flashlights and conserving energy is super easy, but the moment you need to turn the crank, you're dead without the flashlight in your hand. There seemed to be a problem with the resizing, so perhaps it might have been easier if I could see the enemies from further away, but who knows. The horror mood kinda suffered from the cartoony art style and semi-spooky soundtrack, but otherwise, it's an interesting concept~

Power Draw by LukeZaz 2017-08-16T07:37:49Z

Well, I know it's an incomplete game and all, but eh, no harm in doing a proper review for the hell of it, aye?

Pretty basic shooter, it seems, with enemies that follow you and obstacles to move around. Enemies are simple, but nothing wrong with that. Shooting was a tad weird; not sure why you opted to use Space as your shoot button instead of LMB when the mouse already aims. Also, it seems that the further away the mouse is from the player, the faster the bullets travel... Inversely, I can make bullets that barely move and act as mines~ It's a shame you didn't have time to incorporate the theme in properly into the game, but otherwise, it's a functioning prototype. Wonder what you'll do with this in the future...

Precious Cargo by CMLSC 2017-08-04T13:41:22Z

That was an interesting game! Loving the pixel art, for sure~ The game's pretty fun, especially when you destroy a ship underneath a pirate and watch him fall! The spawning is a little off, though; most times the platforms are too far away to hop on, or there aren't enough pirate ships to fuel your own. Plus, the tiny size of your character makes clashes with pirates really disorienting, and I've found myself dashing off into the abyss more than once! Still, it's a pretty enjoyable game, well done!

Last Job by ALeal_Dev 2017-08-03T12:27:30Z

Really nice game~ The gameplay was simple enough to understand after a minute or two, but it certainly isn't easy~ I like the fact that you can run from the ogre to get that few precious seconds of time for your final score! Despite being almost overly simple, it still gets the job done, and it's an enjoyable experience that's just right in length. Good job!

[Web] Apocalyptic Gamer by Linver 2017-08-23T13:24:43Z

Haha! Indeed, great minds think alike, @linver! Congratulations on taking the #1 spot; the polish and gameplay is really great!

CREEP by AkirAssasin 2017-07-31T14:52:56Z

Huh... It took me quite some time to figure out what the heck I was doing, but eventually I got the hang of it! I think. Maybe. Once I got used to it, though, I found it to be pretty goshdarned interesting! Ended up having two rows hogging a sword each with 0 discovery, and the third row having full discovery so I could see all threats in the future. Learnt that was a bad thing though when they were sitting in my 'inventory' and debuffing me... If there's a way to properly explain the mechanics to a new player, I'm not sure what it is, but I hope you find it~

INVISIBRO by FisherGoodwin 2017-07-31T17:08:10Z

A fun little platformer~ Seems like you decided to tie the player's health to opacity, which makes for a rather nice effect. The art is superb, but the character feels a bit too fast, vertically and horizontally. Especially hard to control him when jumping onto small ledges or through tight gaps! Still, I suppose you need to be fast to get to the next potion / purple thing, and it does give it another layer of challenge, along with your strategically placed gems! Good job~

Low Battery by MaggardJosh 2017-08-03T16:49:17Z

A very polished title! Given the time constraints I have, I couldn't finish all 20 levels, but I'd like to go back and explore it to its fullest once I have time~ The puzzles were very well designed, and with quite a variety of different threats that were introduced properly! Art and sounds were simple, but they definitely complement each other quite well! Overall, a fun puzzle game, well done!

Cellephant by hippy-dave 2017-08-21T18:09:06Z

Had a lot of fun with this title~ It's a pretty clever mechanic, where you must walk the exact amount of batteries you have and pick up all the batteries... I noticed after a while that your maps must've been randomly generated, due to how much wasted space there was on all sides. Still, it gets the job done, and I found myself playing for quite some time. Good job!

Hamster Wheel Simulator by Laaph 2017-08-04T00:54:21Z

An interesting little game~ I thought it'd just be another one of those left-right-to-run games, but it seems you've thrown in the need for timing as well! Certainly makes it a lot harder than usual! The way the music slowed and sped up according to the charging speed was pretty cool, but it certainly did a good job of throwing off my rhythm! Good work!

UFO Abduction by dreadloaf 2017-08-01T01:00:55Z

A simple, cathartic game to play~ It's rather relaxing just to shoot turrets and abduct people, but I wish there was more to it. It's pretty easy to stay alive, so after a while I get tired of playing, as there isn't anything much to work towards. Still, it's a neat little game, well done!

Fast Refuel by harusame 2017-08-04T00:36:44Z

A really cool entry! Nice art, sounds and music that fits well, not to mention a pretty interesting twist to the shoot-em-up genre! As many have pointed out, the AI is a bit dumb, but I suppose that's one way to force players to play using the other ships instead of relying solely on the charging ship! A pretty polished game, well done!

Drifter by feips 2017-08-22T12:10:33Z

Surprisingly difficult game! Took a while to get used to what everything did, and by the time I had explored each of the 4 stations, I was almost out of fuel. Took me a bit of playing to realize I was supposed to destroy the asteroids, THEN sell it at the shop... There was no clear feedback that destroying the asteroids did anything! Still, after a bit of trial and error, I got the gist of the core gameplay loop. Interesting game with a lot of promise.

Tu.ah Fights Robots by kassimkot 2017-08-01T01:32:16Z

Pretty simple game, more of a rhythm game than anything! It's surprisingly tricky to swing your weapon at the right time so it hits the enemy before it touches you... Could use a bit more variation or progression, but otherwise, it's pretty solid~

Out Of Rage by scottthoo 2017-08-03T12:37:26Z

Damn, a pretty polished looking game! Also a tad buggy though, with enemies getting knocked back and drifting away with no way to catch them... Animations and gameplay is rather cathartic, but a tad shallow... Plus I'm not sure what the rage bar is for! Either way, it's a really sweet tech demo, looking forward to see if you make something bigger out of this~

Battery Life by justinooncx 2017-07-31T14:05:24Z

Hey, thanks for playing, @akirassasin! I wondered if I should've let the player know about the shield, and was hoping they'd experiment with all WASD buttons to figure it out. If enough people missed the shield, then I'll have to put an in-game sign or something! Seemed to have the problem of people not knowing they should go back the way they came as well.

Thanks for the feedback, @aterlamia! You can click on the left button on the GameBoy to toggle the backlight, which allows you to see clearly, but the game CAN be played without it! Turning it on makes your energy drain faster, that's all!

Battery Life by justinooncx 2017-07-31T16:56:51Z

@shawn-beck Whoops, seems that I'll have to be a bit more clearer... Once you reach the end, you must make your way back to the start and put the battery in the machine, then the game officially ends! You're not the first one who didn't know they had to backtrack. Anyway, thanks for playing!

Manual Overload by Shawn Beck 2017-07-31T15:05:20Z

Another crazy-polished game as usual! The button presses were... kinda hard to align at first, constantly unable to hit the buttons or turn the cranks or flip the switches when I'm supposed to. And then I discovered I could just.... hold down LMB and RMB and wiggle the mouse everywhere. No penalty for hitting the wrong thing, it seems! Managed to win the game that way!

JouleThief: Charge Your Phone by kroltan 2017-08-03T01:49:51Z

A fun little game! The graphics are really nice, although the controls seem to be a bit... off... Doesn't feel very responsive on starting up and turning due to the slow pickup speed, which has gotten me arrested more than once! The jump mechanic was an interesting solution to not getting players stuck, but once I ended up leaping against the wall and was unable to fall or move. Still, the gameplay is fun enough, good job!

Also, on a side note, problems in Chrome. Really slow. Used Mozilla to play it properly.

Wires and Robots by MiltonNH25 2017-08-02T15:03:31Z

Very, very nice puzzle game! The premise is simple, yet the puzzles you've made are pretty clever! Music and art's pretty decent as well, but I certainly had a blast, and was surprised at the huge amounts of unique levels you made. Maybe once I'm done playing the other games, I'll come back and try to finish it fully! Good job!

Recharged by EX3D0 2017-08-01T01:18:09Z

A rather simple game... TOO simple, perhaps! It feels a bit weird because it plays like Snake with not as much challenge, and it took me a moment to get used to its rigid 4-directional movement. The upgrades only seem to appear once, and honestly has very little bearing on the game. ESPECIALLY the capacity upgrade, because you won't be able to get more than 10 energy by then. Still, I can see this game has some promise; just need to find a way to scale the game up and make it more challenging and interesting!

Quoala by Goloso Games 2017-08-04T01:00:44Z

That was certainly an experience~ Given the amount of time I had, I could only go for one ending, but it seems I got the 'good' one! Text skipping would be nice after you've played through the first time, though. Still, I'm definitely curious on the other endings, perhaps when I have more time I'll revisit this game and see what it has to offer. Well done~

Power or die by Aterlamia 2017-07-31T15:13:04Z

I'm aware this is an unfinished and buggy build, but I'll still point out the things I saw regardless, to be fair. The game itself has some promise; it's a shame more couldn't be done within the time scope, but that's how game jams roll, unfortunately. Good job getting a playable build out with a proper win condition, though! As others have said, ran into the problem of dying when the colonists were introduced, but once that hurdle was overcome, it was pretty smooth sailing. Didn't know you could click on the science station until I built 5 of the damn things, so that was dumb of me! Also the lack of a restart button was somewhat painful at the beginning, and the science station window wouldn't go away if you clicked on it but already started research... Still, I can see where this game could've gone! Keep it up!

Power Defense! by Rushar 2017-08-01T01:35:35Z

My fingers, they burn! On a side note, this was a pretty fun game! It's a shame the upgrades weren't fully fleshed out; I certainly needed a LOT more lasers after that giant zombie bum rush! I love the running mechanic, equally simple and challenging at the same time! Not sure if you meant to leave upgrades that improve your power per step, but I think that's fine for a small game like this. Keeps the game getting harder even when you buy more upgrades! Good job!

Power Hungry Robot by Edmanbosch 2017-08-01T16:19:37Z

A simple, yet reasonably tricky game! The platforming's pretty tight, although there were many instances where I found myself slipping off the edge. Hilarious that you can actually farm for batteries by picking them up and dying to respawn them! I suppose this was intentional, as the last level would be unfair without it. A short experience that works~

Into The Darkness by ProgrammingDimension 2017-08-02T15:48:34Z

Hm, there could have been a lot more to this game. It started out creepy, but once I figured out that there were no enemies about, and my only goal was to find batteries in the map, it got frustrating and boring pretty fast. Lack of threats, plus the random nature of the battery spawns and the huge size of the map made it really hard to find more power. With a little work, this could be a genuinely spooky survival game; you set up the mood pretty well~

Stellar Blackout by azsteak 2017-08-21T16:02:35Z

This took a while to wrap my head around, as it wasn't clear what does what immediately. Solar winds... lower my solar panels? What do I do when something short circuits? Still, the mood was definitely top notch, despite the simple graphics.

Guncharger by Lun8 2017-08-02T14:44:58Z

A really solid entry! Nice puzzle platformer with interesting puzzles; too bad you didn't have more time to explore the mechanics! The music and art is pretty great, although my only gripe is that the shooting can feel a bit off sometimes. Other than that, great job!

Battery Low by Freedom Is Slavery 2017-07-31T16:36:10Z

A simple, yet deceptively difficult game! It took me quite some time to memorize which charger when to which phone, but even after I got it, it was difficult to juggle so many phones at once! A slower start to get players used to the mechanics would be a good idea... I can see lots of promise for adding new gameplay elements too!

Running Outer-PWR by Amatwiedle 2017-08-03T16:42:52Z

A pretty interesting game~ Admittedly, the 'help' screen was quite the mess, but I got the hang of it eventually. The platforming was... kinda weird, but it did have a space-walk kind of feel to it, so I guess it worked a little in favour of fitting the mood! Quite a difficult game with the odd platforming, but otherwise not bad at all~

TRIAL OF THE 3 SUNS by Godot35 2017-08-02T15:59:35Z

That was a pretty interesting game! The shooting mechanic was pretty novel and made the boss fights harder than they should be! I wish you would've explored that shooting mechanic more, as most of your puzzles were just platforming ones, and the platforming was a little shoddy at times. This has quite a bit of promise if you focus on one thing (hopefully the unique shooting mechanic) and design the threats and goals around them. Looking forward to see if you make any improvements!

Hoverboard Electrician by Odd1In 2017-08-02T15:34:24Z

Huh... A little lackluster, but the game works~ From what I understand, you're just supposed to collect the energy and not let the power lost reach 100% and survive the timer... It gets kinda unfair at times when the energy appears in a place you have no way of reaching in time, but otherwise, there wasn't much else to it. Could use some extra things to spice it up, I'd imagine, but for now, you have a functional game~

They Attack At Night by randomphantom 2017-08-02T16:20:55Z

Pretty interesting game you have there~ Took me a while to figure out what was going on, and I fell down a trench trying to get to a generator in the distance. Got lost in the dark hallways and ended up resetting. It's a bit annoying how the progress numbers for buildings are so high up; I didn't realize I was interacting with them until I stepped really far back! Otherwise, the gameplay seems to be solid, forcing you to defend your location while risking heading far out to grab generators and leaving your base vulnerable. Very pretty graphics, too, despite its simplicity! Well done~

The Overseer by jmholland96 2017-08-01T02:02:53Z

This is a pretty goddamn interesting game! At first, I was just blindly matching gems, but then I slowly learnt that you don't want to do that all the time~ The choices you had to make for each color was pretty novel, although the ability to reshuffle the board anytime you want and get a new set of gems sort of made the choice trivial. Still, it's a very neat game with a unique idea, I love it!

Bad Guns by DrDolan 2017-08-02T15:28:53Z

An interesting entry~ It's been a while since I saw a raycasting FPS a la Wolfenstien... Interesting that you chose not to be able to recharge your attacks by picking weapons up like most games tend to do. Forces you to make each shot count. Enemies are rather trivial, as they can be shot from long distances without aggroing them. Plus, you can simply run past the enemies, although I'd say that's a good thing, as a player can find himself weaponless and is forced to run for the exit. All in all, not a bad game, but it could be a little more adventurous~

< Mr. Plug > by Drachmor 2017-08-22T11:00:32Z

This was surprisingly entertaining~ The cute little narrative (with a rather sad twist) was certainly a very nice touch. Platforming was simple, but worked like a charm. I loved the level design, where you added new mechanics to spice up each level and keep things fresh. Overall, well done, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Especially how the ending was handled, mechanically rather than story-wise.

A Mr Mom Quest by JoshBurleson 2017-08-21T17:56:27Z

Really nice game! Movement was a little weird, and the overlapping prompts when two tasks were next to each other could get more than a bit confusing. Still, found the start to be pretty darn easy... until suddenly all the bars started falling at insane speeds out of nowhere. I enjoyed the game quite a lot, otherwise; good job!

Light It Up by yawoada 2017-08-04T01:06:48Z

Interesting little game! I like the idea that you have to kill as many enemies as possible to get a higher score than you can spend! Good choice on making the player respawn on a timer instead of an outright game over. The platforming's a little wonky, though; with how floaty the character is, it's pretty friggin' difficult to land on their heads. Not sure if that's a design choice, but it made every level a close shave! Good entry!

Burning Low by Jegus9 2017-08-01T15:54:37Z

A really pretty game! The art and music really bring the game to life~ The map is quite the maze, and the combat's a little iffy... Ended up running past enemies more often than not just to save energy. Still, I managed to make it to the end, and enjoyed it~ Could use a few more interesting things, but otherwise, good job!

Fleeting powers by Stracker 2017-08-02T15:09:38Z

Surprisingly enjoyable game~ I didn't expect too much, but the effects were on point, and it was rather cathartic to attack huge hordes of enemies and trying out all my different powers! Some powers were a little less useful than others, which made it a smidge unbalanced... You'd always want an offensive power to be able to restore more powers. Guess it's smart that you can't really pick and choose what you want! Overall, a pretty fun experience!

There's No Place Like Home by Remzo 2017-08-02T15:43:27Z

It took me a while to figure out what the heck I was supposed to do (at least two minutes to figure out I can pick up the power socket, and another minute to figure out I can't plug in the TV), but once I got the hang of it it was rather simple. Pump energy into rocket, hear lots of beeps, pump energy into shields. A little too simple, although the lack of clarity on what the player must do and how to do them certainly makes it a tad difficult. Glad I read the instructions! The art style is pretty pleasant, though; I'm a sucker for abstract simplicity. All in all, a short experience, but not a bad one~

Also, I won't ask how CO2 emissions and damaged ozone layers cause meteor showers.

VAER by daninfiction 2017-08-01T01:50:48Z

That was a pretty relaxing experience~ Nice and slow, moving around and collecting stars and asteroids and what-have-you... Almost therapeutic! It's hard to see the progress you're making, though, as there's no other object of equal mass to the sun to compare its progress, so sometimes it feels like it never ends. Still, a beautiful game!

Kick Start by BumiBomber 2017-08-01T16:10:18Z

Hard doesn't even begin to describe this game~ It takes some time to get used to what each kick does, and it doesn't fully explain that you can hold a direction and kick to change how it flies! In fact, I don't think I've used the down kick yet, if there is one.... Still managed to finish the game, though! It has a lot of promise as a puzzle or action game, and the unique way you handle ball and player collisions is pretty innovative! Great entry!

Cell Out! by Rulrite 2017-08-04T00:46:27Z

Short but sweet is the definition of this game~ None of the levels were wasted in terms of their usefulness as a puzzle or a tutorial! The mechanics are simple enough, but I see there's a lot of potential for really interesting puzzles! The aesthetics are also pretty neat for something done in so little time... All in all, a hidden gem that will shine with enough time and polish~

LD40 — The more you have, the worse it is

Save the Hats by Gruhh 2017-12-26T13:15:46Z

Hah, a really solid entry! Hilarious premise, and an interesting central mechanic! Didn't have TOO much trouble balancing hats, really; just a matter of NOT walking to stabilize yourself. Not a lot of monsters needed horizontal movement to deal with, anyway. Perhaps something to force the player to move back and forth rather than wait for the monsters to come to them... The hat-shooting part is pretty solid, though, seeing as you have to snag them back or risk bonking your hats off. Seems that the best strategy is to get up to their face and spam throw and pickup.

Other than that, graphics were stellar, music and sound was alright, polish was great. Ran into a bug on death that allowed me to keep playing, though. Still, amazing entry, good job!

Snakey Snake by FrozenCow 2017-12-25T07:04:23Z

Ooooh, I was just expecting regular Snake, but this was a nice, puzzling twist! I always have respect for puzzle designers, so kudos to you! The tutorial was taught rather well, though the puzzles weren't too difficult... Given time, I'm sure you can think of better puzzles, maybe new mechanics as well! All in all, a good job!

The Swordest Sword by basmanovdaniil 2017-12-25T07:12:11Z

Excellent idea for a game! Hack and slash with a side of puzzles... I love it! Game's a bit tough, of course, and I only caught a glimpse of the last boss before dying... And running through without killing seems to be quite difficult as well, but at the same time, with a blade too long, it gets even worse! Good job!

Cliff Hanger by TeamMonumental 2017-12-25T06:15:35Z

That's a really polished game you guys have there! Great graphics, and the game ran nice and smooth~ Still, it was rather difficult to see the theme in this; it doesn't seem that score affects the difficulty, just killing the planes spawns bigger, stronger ones in their place. Also, the enemies don't seem to target the silo at all. Other than that, a really neat game, well done!

Blalb by superjai 2017-12-25T05:58:42Z

Pretty cool game! So this is like Katamari Damacy, but online asynchronous PvP? Pretty interesting! Nice, sprawling world to explore... Still, it seems pretty hard to die, even with all the bots invading my world. I had a lot of fun, though, just rolling around and picking stuff up. Well done~

Coins and Bullets by Genpaku 2017-12-25T06:19:25Z

Interesting game, even though it's very simple. Hard to tell whether the bullets are getting faster, but it certainly was getting harder as the game progressed. Good luck expanding on this game further!

Miiiaaawww by miaw 2017-12-06T05:40:53Z

A cute little game! Some of the puzzles seem to be impossible, though, or at least, very, VERY difficult to pull off! It feels more like a puzzle game than an Angry Birds game, seeing as you must find the single solution to solve the level. Still, it was reasonably fun, if more than a little difficult. Good job!

Freedom For Ball by rasblo 2017-12-25T06:32:50Z

Whoops. Placed this comment in the wrong place. Proper feedback to come.

Freedom For Ball by rasblo 2017-12-25T06:41:51Z

Man, that was.... difficult. Not a bad game, and hits the theme on the head, but man is it punishing. There's no real way to control your balls, and it's quite difficult to study the enemies' paths with the risk of them turning back around and spotting you. Almost made it to the end, I think, but I wasn't quite sure where to go... Still, this game has promise.

Story of a Schizophrenic by CptFinn 2017-12-25T06:33:57Z

A pretty standard idea, but the execution was pretty good~ Your initial movement speed and the penalty incurred for picking up goodies is certainly a very effective deterrent for picking them up! Faced a bug on the second level where going through the exit didn't do anything... and the guards couldn't seem to see me, either. Either way, good job!

EYAM by donvermo 2017-12-25T04:56:17Z

Yyyyeah, I tried, but I didn't quite get this game. There was very little to go on, and I found myself lost and confused as I built houses and graveyards. All I had to go on was the stuff that was written outside the game, so I just built the graveyard at the far end, and the houses on the other. Then I... watched the numbers go up and down, seemingly at random. I'll poke it a little more, perhaps, but for the time being, the game is lost on me.

Vroom Vroom Kaboom by profan 2017-12-22T18:48:00Z

That was preeeetty interesting! A simple idea, but it makes for a surprisingly complex puzzle game where you have to map out where the cars would go and if they'd run into each other! The front and back of a taxi COULD be clearer, but I suppose you can learn by trial and error.... I see a couple of people complaining about having to type out the directions in a weird way, but personally I wasn't too bothered by it. I always have respect for puzzle designers, so well done!

The Exploding Factory by doomshmuck 2017-12-25T11:55:25Z

Pretty interesting game! And almost unfairly difficult! It gets to a point where you cannot chuck away chocolates and doughnuts fast enough to keep Pacman slim and beautiful, and positive buffs are few and far in between... Not necessarily a bad thing, though! Die fast, play fast! But yeah, you might want to fix the issues on scaling, I couldn't play it on my other computer with a square-ish monitor. All in all, good job!

Maze Crawler by Hilvon 2017-12-22T18:29:33Z

Interesting game! Or, well, tech demo. I like the concept; picking up a key makes the maze a bit more difficult to traverse with walls being cut off... In practice, though, it's surprisingly easy. The flames that block off your path will simply guide you to the next key, and it gets less complicated as time goes on. Hilariously, a minimap would actually make things a lot more challenging, as long as you don't show where the flames are! Also, it's pretty funny to be able to see through a wall by tilting the camera just so, although it's usefulness isn't that much. Still, it's a nice, promising game that must've been tricky to do!

Food Fight by PonchoGuy 2017-12-05T08:54:20Z

Kind of a broken game, but fun nonetheless~ Starting a new game doesn't seem to reset my damage, so killing and surviving becomes easier later on. And I can still run around and shoot even though I'm dead and rack up a higher score! Still, despite the bugs, I found myself having fun while running around, the shop UI open as I span the buy health option.

Santa's Factory by SaraMartins 2017-12-25T04:54:16Z

Simple, yet surprisingly cathartic game! It's fun to just... pick up boxes and toss them about. While there seemed to be some sort of time limit regarding the number of boxes, I found myself not being stressed about it and taking my time throwing presents. Maybe it's the cheerful music and bright colors. Either way, it's very polished and fun, though I'm sure there are ways you can expand on this idea. Good job!

Infection by Daniel Conway 2017-12-25T06:58:12Z

Not bad at all! A bit too simple, though. The map is large, but featureless, and the brains could be anywhere.... Kiting the zombies is easy enough, though. I'm sure you can expand on this game further, but for now, it's a simple time-waster. Good job, though!

Chuckles, the Word Juggler by SecretPocketCat 2017-12-28T11:14:53Z

A pretty nice game! I'm a pretty fast typer, so it wasn't very difficult at all. Difficulty ramps up a bit too slow to see the theme in it's full glory, in my opinion. The typing system is a TAD odd, where you have to get the whole string correct, and you're allowed to backspace out of it... but it wasn't bad at all. Words seem to be rather random in terms of length, too. Still, it was a solid entry, good job!

I wonder if I had a younger sister by fangzhangmnm 2017-12-05T07:24:10Z

This was a really cool game! At first, the patterns were pretty easy, but then you started to throw them together... Became really challenging and hard! Story was pretty funny as well, something straight out a gag manga... I love it! And your pixel art is pretty damn awesome, great work!

Wonder Land by neowhoru 2017-12-28T20:30:23Z

A shame you couldn't implement all the ideas you wanted to, it looked to be a very, very promising game! Based on the two teaser levels, the gameplay is straightforward enough... just a matter of collecting as few of those items as possible before reaching the end, then backtracking to pick up the rest after memorizing the path. Looking forward to the post-jam version!

Snail: Diamond Hunter 2000 by ruba 2017-12-24T13:07:23Z

A pretty neat feat with the snail being able to cling to surfaces! On the other hand, the physics of jumping were a tad wonky, which was evident when I tried to jump over the first spike, and later on, the dreaded wall jump. Still, the sound and graphics were nice, so props on that. Good job~

Good As Gold by ProdigalSon 2017-12-24T11:07:11Z

A short and sweet game~ A little odd that you put the instructions on how to play AFTER you die... And the flavor text of you winning and dying is incomplete / wraps out of bounds. Still, the effect of becoming a golden statue is neat, plus the existence of other golden statues of the poor saps before you was a nice touch. Might be interesting if you expanded on the idea a little more!

The Golem Hunter by NexusBreaker 2017-12-25T06:49:36Z

A pretty standard game~ Pretty sure it's a bug, but my golem won't stop moving down-right, so movement was more than a little tricky. Also.... why does the shop have items that have values with half a coin? Other than that, not much to say about the game. I'm sure you can improve on it, though!

Between Stations by Sand-Gardeners 2017-12-25T04:45:00Z

Wow. That was... an experience, for sure. Perhaps the way it tied in with the theme was a bit loose, but... it was still pretty interesting, to say the least. The art, the mood, the sounds... they were all fantastic. Writing was nice, too! Found myself swishing the dial back and forth after it was all over, hoping for more... Doesn't seem to have a big payoff, though, but the journey itself was cool. Good job, guys!

Fireball Dungeon by Andrew White 2017-12-22T19:11:57Z

Nice, simple and enjoyable game. The effect of more fireballs getting faster is hard to notice, though, so it doesn't feel like it's getting any harder... And while it's cool that you get damaged from your own fireballs as well, spamming shots in one direction was still one of the most effective ways to play with almost no risk, since each fireball dealt very little health damage. Finished the whole game in less than two minutes. It's still a neat little game, though!

APOLLO v-1.0 by grey 2017-12-05T07:08:31Z

The game might look simple, but it's pretty damn polished for what it is! The music is pretty great, and the sound effects are cool, although the hissing of the rocket engines can get a tad annoying at times. Rather challenging game, too... Can't tell when I'm moving TOO fast! All in all, great work!

Zombie Game by Grant Sommer 2017-12-25T06:23:54Z

Uh, HTML5 link is broken, just a head's up.

The Hunger Maims by SubZtep 2017-12-28T20:24:04Z

Interesting game! Simple enough to understand, although a little lacking in terms of challenge. Even at max seeds, flying and avoiding foxes is pretty easy... Only problem is the tall trees that I can't fly over. Also, interesting that you FORCE the player to poop if they go over 25 seeds. The one thing I DID love is the sound effects. Hilarious! All in all, not bad at all~

Goblin Ascension ! by Chubby Stick 2017-12-05T08:23:02Z

An interestingly difficult game! The premise is simple, yet quite effective, and the tutorial got the message across nicely. A tad buggy sometimes; spikes would launch me upwards into walls and get me stuck, and the game just flat out crashed at one point. A bit hard to see the platforms and spikes, since they blend in with the grey background so easily... Other than that, a fun little game~

Keep It Simple Stupid Bang Bang by mshopf 2017-12-24T11:21:52Z

Iiiiinteresting game... You made a few design decisions that I really liked~ The addition of cheats was certainly almost necessary to see to the end of the game. Don't think anybody could go that far without them. Also, interesting choice to make your score drain downwards if you don't do anything... Forces the player to shoot, and in turn, make things worse for themselves. Gameplay was nice and varied, but without godmode, this would be next to impossible to play. Still, good job, certainly follows the theme well!

ESCAPE KEY by Empyrean 2017-12-28T20:06:24Z

Whoa. This is an AMAZING idea for a maze game! The pacing was spot on as well, introducing mechanics very organically, and everything flowed nicely! The graphics are great, and the sound is preeetty sweet, too! The only problem I see is that the connection to the theme is kinda shaky... but heck, that doesn't matter much, since you've made a stellar game regardless. Great job!

Rescue by Rahul Rajput 2017-12-06T05:44:26Z

Uh, you might want to change the title of your game page to Rescue instead of I Am Done Here... Other than that, a pretty simple game, although the lose sound effect frightened me. Good job for your first time, it's a complete game with no bugs!

LD40 - SirPumpy by SirPumpy 2017-12-27T06:15:03Z

That's a reaaaally polished game you have there! The gameplay itself is simple, yet fun! Bullets don't feel like they do a lot of damage, though, and the hardest thing about the game is moving your ship around... It's unfortunate you couldn't properly implement the theme in time, but this would still be a great game once you've added in the other details (which you already have). Good job!

Corrupture by Chyme 2017-12-05T11:48:05Z

Pretty interesting idea! A bit TOO easy, though, since shedding corruption is done very easily, and at the same time, you'd be destroying any enemies that might corrupt you. Still, the gameplay was enjoyable, and there was that interesting temptation to risk corruption to kill monsters faster, especially the last boss. Either way, a neat entry, good job!

Temple Hunt by Toccs 2017-12-23T05:41:08Z

Not bad for a first time! Still, gonna comment on the game as it is, so don't feel too bad about it.

Interesting that you chose the gold obtained to be random... Why is that? With that system, whenever I obtain gold, I can't quite tell if I'm really moving slower or not. Ramps function oddly in the game, where going up them is a chore, and it's better to just jump over. All fine and dandy, until I jumped and hit my head on the giant boulder that I DIDN'T trigger, and still died anyway.

Still, it looks great for the first game you made. Well done!

Jump Squad by Taiku 2017-12-25T07:30:37Z

Ooof. That's a brutal game you got there. I love the characters, but other than that... 3D platforming? With no proper shadows for guidance? Maaaaan. Still, the platforming feels responsive, though I can't even get past getting 3 people. A nice game, in the end, though you might want to adjust the difficulty curve a bit!

Infernus: The Descent by Team Infernus 2017-12-06T06:02:59Z

Well, the game is a bit lackluster at its current state. I see you've implemented some features like a proper inventory system for the future builds, but currently, there's little to see and do. Other than that, the art is pretty solid, which is a good thing for a lewd game. Good luck in the future updates, I'm sure a lot of people would be interested once there's more content! A lot of promise!

Drone Invasion by Niki90000 2017-12-25T10:31:17Z

That was a pretty cool game! Really interesting mechanic, scraping enemies off your ship by slamming them into oncoming meteorites. Very clever! Instructions were a taaad cryptic, but I figured it out pretty fast, thankfully. The game itself is pretty fun, so kudos to you!

the tale of Mr. Diggins by mally1mk 2017-12-28T19:55:43Z

Whoa. For a first timer, AND being 12, this is a pretty solid entry! I found myself playing through the whole game til the end... Surprisingly fun, despite being so simple! If you plan on improving this game, here are a few suggestions. First, a sell-all button would be nice to have, so you can get rid of a bunch of unwanted ore quickly. Secondly, a scoring system, perhaps based off the amount of things you mined up, the money you've earned, or how fast you got to the end. You have a fun game on your hands; I'm glad to have played it before voting time was over! Great job!

Greedy Guy! by farofa0 2017-12-25T06:22:49Z

A very simple game, but it doesn't have any glaring problems with it~ Good job with the horde system, the enemies were moving in a group rather smoothly. Great for your first try, and in 7 hours to boot! Well done!

LD45 — Start with nothing

ASHES TO ASHES by AkirAssasin 2019-10-07T06:15:03Z

An interesting puzzle game! I started out not reading the instructions, ironically as you instructed, and set the whole place ablaze trying to figure out what was going on. Gotta say, without the help of your instructions, it's hard to connect the dots...

Once I got in the groove of things, though, I started to experiment and figure out how the game works... and I managed to complete the game after about 20 mins. IT's a reasonably challenging puzzle, BUT there are exploits that make it way too easy...

1) Fire spreading only moves the fire, not make a copy. While this was probably a conscious design decision, it didn't take me long to figure out that I could GUIDE the flames away by sacrificing some houses or whatnot. I figured out which flames would move where, too, with enough testing, and could reliably move them without setting the rest of the town on fire.

2) There is no penalty for burning houses. Again, probably by design, since accidents are bound to happen, and you can always rebuild once everything is razed to the ground, but this meant I could freely burn houses until I got the structure I wanted.

Basically, I set up a stone/monument farm. I set one flame aside to trash buildings I don't want, moving it up and down by placing burnable buildings above or below it, then when I got a monument or stone, I used that to expand my town or reach pyramids. Theoretically, I can play through the whole game this way and have nothing but monuments and stones with a single castle connecting them all!

Bugs aside, the idea is certainly very interesting! I can see what you're trying to go for, and there were many moments where I found myself pondering over what the next best placement would be... Good job!

Ping Pong by Iak 2019-10-09T01:20:14Z

0/10, ball is buggy and went out of bounds, never got to finish my Pong game

In all seriousness, this was a pretty interesting game~ The story and challenges were pretty serviceable, but probably the moment that stuck with me was the part in the rain where our hero began to doubt himself. I paused, and I swore I felt, like, genuine sorrow or pity. For a Pong ball. Well done~

L.D. Noire by karlipoppins 2019-10-07T05:03:22Z

Yay, managed to beat it without using the walkthrough! If someone can figure out the puzzle by themselves, you know you're set! The main challenge in this game, really, is figuring out what's what... I'm a fan of the 8-bit aesthetic, but in a game like this where details matter, it might be best to go with another style. All in all, a nice point and click adventure with interesting solutions that aren't TOO far-fetched! Well done~

Armistice by frenchie 2019-10-08T09:45:16Z

Good gravy, that was a little more challenging than I thought it'd be! The whole game was pretty fun, and I got to the end eventually (die, rebel scum!), but man, that one level with the thrusters where I need to boost myself into the damn box... That taught me an important lesson on how thrusters work, though, and the placement was important in determining how fast you turn! A pretty fun entry, well done!

Grow quickly by congusbongus 2019-10-07T14:13:23Z

>You found a machine-gun!

Less shooing, more shooting!

Surprisingly fun and challenging game, if a little simple... The game certainly knows how to keep you on your toes, for better or worse. Controls are a smidge iffy at times, but I never lost a level... if it's even possible to lose. Also love the little texts at the bottom. Good job!

Pocketon Peak by bwalter 2019-10-08T05:12:27Z

What an experience that was. The moment I saw that post and that art, I knew I had to play this game. And by God, when I opened that menu and the sweet music started playing... I literally sat there for a minute, just taking in the 8-bit Game Boy aesthetic. 5/5 for mood on that one, seriously!

While the game looks gorgeous and sounds divine, the gameplay is... a little annoying at times. The player seems to move rather slow, and the trial-and-error feel was exacerbated by the unfortunate ability to consume items anywhere regardless of if it were right or just wasted. Some things made sense, others didn't (I still have no idea what hot sauce is used for, or what that grey powder that the hat-bomber drops does), but I eventually managed to make it to the end, somehow. Also quite annoying that the player can't turn to look in the direction they want and is forced to walk; the sign near the metal box is unreadable because of that.

Otherwise, this game is chock-full of content, and I only finished 58% of it. I might return to 100% it later, figure out what goes where, yadda yadda... but I hope you guys can work out the programming issues and make it a smoother thing to play. All in all, great job, you lot!

Amnesiac Adventurer by justinooncx 2019-10-07T03:01:39Z

@bagenzo Thanks for playing! I was worried that people wouldn't understand the backwards mechanic and get all confused... Good job getting the good ending!

@karlipoppins Ah, man, great minds think alike! I totally wanted to play some music backwards as the BGM, maybe add blood particles flying back into the zombie when it's un-killed, stuff like that... Maybe after the jam is over!

Amnesiac Adventurer by justinooncx 2019-10-07T15:38:20Z

@jajakeim Oh, crap, it crashes on your browser? Chrome seems to be the go-to browser for playing Unity Web games. I guess I can put up the PC build I made, but man, that thing is ugly as sin.

Amnesiac Adventurer by justinooncx 2019-10-07T17:36:33Z

@xcvzxc @jajakeim I've added a Windows build if you still want to give the game a try, though I recommend playing in a smaller resolution, because I still hadn't figured out how to use the Unity UI properly in Playmaker.

Amnesiac Adventurer by justinooncx 2019-10-08T01:47:12Z

@theseusinabottle Ah, jeez, I was trying to match the background of the game with the page, but with my naturally low brightness level on my screen, I didn't think it was that bad... I'll swap to a darker theme later. Thanks!

Amnesiac Adventurer by justinooncx 2019-10-08T01:57:32Z

@adroitconceptions Thanks for the feedback! You're absolutely right on both suggestions; however, due to my limited technical ability, some things couldn't be done during the timeframe. It would help to see the whole map at once, or at least, have an undo command so that trial and error isn't too annoying... I might recreate it in 2d and improve upon it, or get an actual programmer to help! Thanks for the feedback!

Amnesiac Adventurer by justinooncx 2019-10-08T05:17:38Z

@corrade Thanks for the suggestions! Initially, the movement was meant to be grid-based, but I couldn't get it to work... If I do fix it, though, the second thing to add is the 'rewind' feature, for sure! I lack the technical ability to do that right now, but it's a good thing to have, especially with some of the puzzles being unsolvable after one wrong move. And yeah, the doors were meant to have keys initially, but I had no time to change the assets, so I just reused what I had.

@jordanvang Thank you for the feedback! Following on what I just replied to Corrade, I super duper want a reverse-play at the end of the level, and utilizing the rewind feature to do so sounds like the best way to do it! For now, though, any forward-replays have to be done manually by the player... Perhaps when I get better in Playmaker, I'll come back and add it as a feature!

Amnesiac Adventurer by justinooncx 2019-10-08T09:48:38Z

@frenchie :O Thanks for the video! I'm looking it over now and playing it backwards, it looks hilarious~ I'll probably reverse it and post it up, maybe troll some people and figuratively see the confusion on their faces~ Also, thanks for the feedback! Much appreciated!

Ultra Quest by 100th_Coin 2019-10-08T01:09:46Z

Goddamnit, I hoped it was friendship. I'm so lonely.

Not much to say here. Pretty polished game, and hilarious to boot. Has the most intense boss fights, too! Very well done on this entry, the art and polish is superb!

There were 8 hours left and I decided I wanted to participate after all by Corny 2019-10-08T16:55:55Z

Damn, this in 8 hours? This level of polish? That's pretty frickin' impressive. The art may be simple, but they're expressive and clean as all heck! The screen shakes, the particles, the bassy hits... Perfectissimo. This is the sort of thing I'd like to learn to do quickly and effectively one of these days. Only bug I found was that when you die, your character still exists and can swing their sword. Overall, a very impressive display. Well done!

Shamanus and the Cursed Spirit by Robinerd 2019-10-07T15:34:19Z

Oof, this was surprisingly hard... Problem with this game is that once you build your first tower, it seems to be better to stay close to it rather than run towards the enemies and take damage, and as the game progresses, reaching new areas to build more towers becomes harder due to the sheer number of enemies spawning. The small jump doesn't help, and having more or less one path to the upper levels really restricts movement. Still, the graphics are really nice! Lots of particle effects too, which sometimes confuse me as to what's going on...

Also, when you start a new game, the price doesn't reset back to the base 300, but stays the same price from the previous round. Might want to fix that. Otherwise, not a bad game, well done~

Welcome to Nowhere by AdroitConceptions 2019-10-08T02:53:47Z

I choose to believe that there is no background music, but the character is humming to himself as he goes around killing tentacle monsters. A pretty simple game, but everything works as intended, so good job!

Euro Farm by Enver Arco 2019-10-08T01:15:44Z

Rather simple and unfortunately straightforward game... I can probably just win by doing nothing and waiting the time out XD For something done in a short time, though, it looks good, at least!

There was something here by Adrien Dittrick 2019-10-07T13:58:51Z

That was certainly an interesting experience... Took me a while to figure out what was going on and what to do, but (un)luckily I found the doomsday clock early and started things off for the end game. It was kinda cool to build the whole 'world' up with my friends, too! I don't quite get what happened in the end since I apparently died; seems it's some struggle between a creator and destroyer? All in all, cool game, would sacrifice friends for more friends again!

Nightbirds by Jiri Hysek 2019-10-08T01:02:36Z

Interesting bird simulator! While the gameplay was pretty straightforward, there were a few things that made it a strange thing to play... For one, the food spawns weirdly, with worms crawling in the air at times. The beak attack was also rather tricky to use, seeing as you had to be above your opponent and divebomb them, which was hard to aim properly... Not a bad thing, per se; made combat quite interesting. Also, the image showing what prey was in my talons doesn't render at times, making me confused as to whether I had already hunted or not.

Still, it was a new experience, for sure, swooping down on birds and stealing their nests. Good job.

Better than nothing by Fictions 2019-10-07T14:27:36Z

What do you mean I have to unlock my friggin' health bar?!

Quite an interesting game which follows the theme quite well! It took me a few rounds of purchases and running around to figure out what was going on, but after that, the game became quite challenging! Have to admit, though, nearing the end, I was starting to think having nothing would be preferable over all the rocks and slimes and eyes thrown my way! Nice job!

Vengeful Spirit by Jajakeim 2019-10-07T13:37:06Z

A nice, simple shoot-em-up, at the same time being deceptively hard... I'm ashamed to admit it took me, like, 10-15 minutes to finish the game XD Seems the strategy is to go for Power against the small mobs to kill them off faster, then go for speed when fighting the boss to properly avoid the crazy AoE balls... Then I lost my soul TwT All in all, nice entry. Love the pixel art, too!

Scrap Attack by TheseusInABottle 2019-10-08T01:27:11Z

Surprisingly challenging for its simplicity. Doesn't take a genius to figure out what needs to be done, but man, one wrong step can really screw you over. I found the best strategy was to camp at the sheets machine as most of the things that fell seem to be that particular kind of scrap, but then I accidentally picked up a gear, and forgot where the gear deposit was, and I couldn't drop it or exchange it with some other scrap. So I died. Whee~

Anyway, pretty nice game. Good job~

My Stuff is in There! by Madbarron 2019-10-09T02:33:28Z

Heh, that was a nice little story~ I was like "Man, I'm such a friggin asshole." Story moves a bit fast near the end, but what the heck, you got your message across! I really dig the simple yet profound mechanic of actually LISTENING, and I skipped through a lot of that guy's "Are you listening?" due to me being a... 'fast' reader. I like that the game MAKES me listen for a change! Well done~

Egg Farm by kuviman 2019-10-07T07:46:06Z

That was surprisingly simple, and yet addictive! My favourite sort of game! I found myself settling down on a strategy, segregating my crops by color and destroying crops if it got more that 9 or so fruits at a time. Even so, trying to get one of each color, and with the weeds only able to kill their own kind, meant that there was at least one bugger shooting at me and making things hellish. Every time I think I'm doing well, I corner myself in bullets and die. I'm most impressed that you designed the jump button to do so many things... Really streamlines the game and makes it less confusing! All in all, well done!

Road to Something by GoldenEvolution 2019-10-07T15:24:36Z

Hm, a pretty standard platformer~ Not bad at all, seeing as this was your first game! Nice atmosphere, and the platforming can be a bit tricky at times... Also, at the last part, when I finally meet someone else, the text seems to have bugged out and I couldn't see what was being said. I assume it was something along the lines of "Oh, I'm not alone after all" or something? Either way, good job on your first entry! Hope there will be more from you in the future!

Ludum Dare Simulator by Marcin J 2019-10-07T15:49:36Z

What a meta game this is! It was quite interesting to re-simulate what I might've gone through in Ludum Dare, and I found myself making decisions not based on what was best to win the game, but what I'd normally do. THat was pretty fun~ Also, the last card can be swapped to a different sixth card, which I assume is a bug. Hopefully you'll add more cards in the future; there's still so many facets of game jamming that haven't been touched on!

Oh, and somehow, I got first place in Mood. Interesting. That's normally my lowest score, I think XD Screen.PNG

itemless by NachtWitch 2019-10-07T14:55:25Z

Hm. Not quite sure what I was doing while playing the game... I understood after a bit that I needed to gather materials to upgrade my weapon so I can get more materials, but I ultimately felt there was no need to build anything. I could kill the monsters quite easily, even with my starter weapon. Also, the pickaxe felt like a huge downgrade because of how slow it swings, making it harder to nail enemies when they come close. Exploring the place didn't seem to yield anything interesting other than resources, and the building system seems to be bugged. I can only place down the Tier 1 blocks, but not Tier 2 or 3 blocks, even after I bought them.

Still, a nice attempt; this might be a fun game with a bit of work. Just needs more enemies and more reasons to use the other mechanics.

Garden Guru by Abacus 2019-10-08T01:22:41Z

Well, uh, I see what you're trying to do, at least! WIth a bit of bug-fixing and design changes, one would probably be able to grow quite a nice garden~ For now, though, it's a tad wonky to play through, to say the least. Still, good job!

PrintScript by walaber 2019-10-07T16:51:42Z

As someone who isn't the best at coding, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

But seriously though, this is a pretty cool game! Probably great for teaching people the bare fundamentals of coding and how to handle problems in a smart way. I mean, I could have probably won the game drawing the objects manually, but the shapes you decided on did make me consider what the best way to tackle them was! I like the whole aesthetic of the game in general; well done with the messaging system and the printing machine! Really cool to see my 'creation' in action! And yes, I finished the game, if Carlos is the last one to give you a quest.

Be thankful that other game developers are the ones who are playing this game, otherwise this would be an unreasonable barrier of entry for some XD Well done!

Zombug Slayer by jordanvang 2019-10-08T06:50:15Z

Well. Couldn't finish the game, unfortunately. Still, I think I get the idea, unless I'm missing some hilarious ending or final boss fight...

Premise and art is pretty good, despite how simple it is, so props to you for that! The shooting is hella satisfying, and there's blood everywhere with every shot. Doesn't seem to be well-balanced, though... The enemies hitboxes are smaller than their sprites, meaning half my shots miss unless I'm aiming directly down their center... which is difficult when it comes to the white runners. A circular hitbox for the player might help with the problem of getting stuck on edges, which happened quite a bit and killed me once or twice. The super-horde room is where I keep getting stuck at, where neither the shotgun nor the machinegun were adequate weapons to kill multiple runners at a time in such a small area.

Also, at the start of the map, the game lags like HELL on my laptop! I have to wait for thirty seconds or so before the game starts running like normal, and I have to sit through the lag each time I respawned. Also, I noticed that during glitchy moments, the whole floor shifts a bit, which reveals that you may have set every floor tile individually instead of just using one big plane... That might explain why I'm lagging so hard.

Technical issues aside, the gameplay is really fun, and I like the design choice of making zombies invisible until they have direct line of sight to you. Can't predict where they'll pop up from, which makes it all the more exciting! All in all, a strong first entry. Good job!

SpaceDrifter 4500 by SharkWithLasers 2019-10-10T14:58:14Z

That was.... actually really fun! It's a tense race to the next node of oxygen or fuel, and while having the minimap up is helpful, it's distracted me enough to crash me into an asteroid once or twice! Once I got the hang of things, though, it felt really good to zip around space, doing small boosts to keep my fuel reserves up, while staying fast enough to not suffocate. I actually really like the design decision to make the boosts stop on a dime; while that's not really realistic, it certainly makes a harrowing game like this more forgiving and fun. So many close brushes with asteroids, avoiding death at the last second by boosting the other way... Very fun entry, well done!

Minno by --0 2019-10-10T01:29:37Z

Oh my, that was an interesting puzzle game! Literal inventory management! The puzzles were laid out quite nicely, with a steady difficulty of progression that didn't feel steep. Some things could be clearer, though; perhaps using circles instead of rounded squares to differentiate inventory-related things and things like doors or switches? Still, didn't take me long at all to figure out what was what. All in all, great job, a very innovative entry!

Flourish by Corrade 2019-10-08T05:53:43Z

Who knew a game about gardening and sunlight and flowers could be so nerve-racking? A challenging game, to be sure, having to juggle multiple resources at a time! Took a while to get used to how winds work, after being swarmed by a thousand aphids... Lightning cooldown seems to be super long, too, as I never seen in recharge the few times I used it. Then again, the flower never survived for too long... Great job on this entry!

Wizard Fishing by Daxic 2019-10-07T16:06:53Z

What the fish did I just play?

First off, LOVE the graphics. Beautiful pixel art, props to you on that! The gameplay is pretty simple, but it does the job well... when it works, at least. Not sure whether it's my mouse or the game, but directly after successfully casting a spell, it won't read follow-up mouse inputs for a second or so. If you put that in to prevent players from spamming the same spell before the cursor can move, maybe set it so the cooldown refreshes the moment the pointer leaves the initial spell zone? Other than that one gripe that may just be a hardware issue, this was a fun game! Well done!

Also, I wondered why the game was muted by default. I understood why after I unmuted.

The Mystery Box by W0lfEnstein 2019-10-07T18:16:16Z

Gah! It's 2 am, and I REALLY need to get some sleep, but this puzzle is keeping me up! ASDFLKGKALKSH!

I got the first cipher paper, but now I can't seem to figure out what to do... I'll need to play this tomorrow before I grade it fully. Seems I suck at these sort of games...

The Mystery Box by W0lfEnstein 2019-10-08T03:23:06Z

FINALLY, I solved it, and I can finally give a review and grade it accordingly. I needed to check if it was stupidity on my end or bad design, but the fact that I cleared it eventually proves it was the former. A game like this has to be very careful about feedback, though.... I spent a good chunk of my time tapping on that panel because it made a sound, and it took me some testing to figure out I didn't need to hit the individual boxes inside. Because this is the sort of game that forces you to reach for solutions, distractions should be kept to a minimum.

Still, it achieved what it set out to do! Well done! I just hope that that message at the end is really the last puzzle there is, and that there isn't more hiding somewhere.... I'm paranoid as hell now!

Island Game by aleks 2019-10-08T17:53:06Z

Not bad at all for a first timer! As simple as it is, it's not buggy at all, runs pretty smooth, and the procedurally generated content certainly is interesting! This is your first step to make greater things. Keep at it!

Nun in the Chamber by BrokenMirrorMedia 2019-10-09T05:09:53Z

Oof, beat level one before learning I could throw my gun. Guess I should've read the instructions on the game page, huh? Still, even with that, the game proves to be pretty challenging, forcing you to juke around enemies without a weapon after tossing it. I actually never used the dodge roll at all, either. Probably the most fast-paced action game I've played so far. Good job!

Empty Soul by Danielcmcg 2019-10-08T11:24:02Z

A nice little experience! Died the first time because snakes spawned on top of me and I didn't know what the hell happened, almost thought the game ended there. But yeah, apparently you're supposed to avoid taking all those items with you. Who would've thought? /s Jumping can be a bit weird at times, but otherwise, a perfectly serviceable platformer.

Sokobaiogenesis by Bagenzo 2019-10-07T04:38:14Z

I spent way too long on your game, damnit! It's certainly a very interesting take on Sokoban, I'll give you that, and it fits the theme rather well! it's like being asked to fix a jigsaw puzzle, but you gotta make the damn pieces yourself first... How the 'molecules' interact with each other is rather interesting, if a bit confusing and frustrating at times, trying to remember what combination does what... Other than that, a really cool and challenging puzzle game! Well done!

And yes, I finished the whole thing. God, that was tough.

Nothing by Georg Wacker 2019-10-07T15:57:47Z

Took me two words to figure out what the heck I was supposed to do. I did notice at the very start that "Huh, the sky changes color when I walk. Why is that a mechanic?" It clicked eventually, and I managed to see it through the end. Oh, shucks~ In any case, it's certainly a very interesting take on the theme, where you do start with the word "Nothing", so that's pretty cool! Well done, a short and definitely sweet experience!

Also, COME ON, THAT'S TOTALLY THE RIGHT COLOR! XD Screen0.PNG

birb. by dygar 2019-10-07T15:05:46Z

I'm... not quite sure what I just played, but it was, uh, short and sweet! Interesting that the first level was the most challenging. Also, the key bindings are a little weird; Tab doesn't peck, Ctrl and X does, and Alt and Z act as jump keys. Peck doesn't seem to do anything, which is a shame... I suppose the most impressive thing here is that you managed to port this onto a Game Boy! Great job on that end, seriously!

Cell Defense by WanSou 2019-10-09T04:59:58Z

Well, since you have a post-fix version, I probably don't have to bring up the bugs.... This game was pretty fun; quite satisfying to zoop around the map eating viruses and the like! Had to look up what the purchases are; might be a good idea to put down instructions in the starting free-roam area instead of a separate screen on the main menu. All in all, it was a really fun fight, and it was kinda satisfying to be able to buy the cannon and see it shred everything in sight without having to do anything! Also, the ending's hilarious. Good job!

Blob of nothing by Zanthous 2019-10-10T15:10:24Z

I assume there's no real end state? If I get 6/6, I win, right? Anyway, the game was pretty easy to understand and actually fun to play! There's something rather satisfying about exploiting an enemy's clear weakspot, and changing your configuration to best abuse them. I like the part where you're forced to shed most of your upgrades to make it through the spikes, too. Never needed to use the 'shoot spike' function, but I was caught off guard when one of the enemies used it on ME! All in all, good job!

OM The Word by Kisann 2019-10-07T17:02:33Z

For a game about zen, this was an exceptionally harrowing game! It's hilariously frustrating to move the balls and adjust their sizes; they grow and shrink way too fast, and they move left to right way too slow. Still, I suppose that's where the challenge comes from. There was also little indicator that you had to be BIG to smash through the thin walls, but other than that, managed to finish the game in 72.1 seconds. Interesting game!

Soulful by aconfusedragon 2019-10-08T02:38:02Z

The perfect game for Spooktober! Well, other than the really cheery music that is almost Christmas-like. The game is really well-polished, and the art and sounds are pretty spot-on! Goddamn mimics keep killing me, but that's not really a problem; just a bit hard to spot in the hecticness, is all. The one minor thing that irks me is that I can't fly all the way to the top of the screen... I tried to avoid one of those long spooky bois and I suddenly got stopped right in front of his face. Not sure why that limitation was implemented, but other than that, it was a really fun experience! Well done!

LD41 — Combine 2 Incompatible Genres

Speed Phoning by TimBeaudet 2018-04-27T02:03:52Z

Haha, this is my kind of game! Playing two games at once! Not to mention, you decided to do a sliding puzzle, just like my entry!

It took me a while to figure out what the heck was going on... I actually beat the game without moving the car at all. Then I decided to try moving around, and soon figured out how both systems work in tandem with each other. Pretty cool! Still, after struggling with driving and solving at the same time, I opted to park the car and finish it that way. Just had to wait for the right shuffle RNG, and slot the pieces in quickly. So yeah, kind of abusable~

Overall, this was a really neat idea! Just needs a little more polish, but the idea is solid. Well done!

Puzz Snake by Igor KinGamer 2018-05-01T02:12:57Z

Ooooh, how interesting! Very reminiscent of Snakebird (which a lot of people have already mentioned), and yet, I think it's not TOO similar! For one, you actually incorporate the Snake part a lot more, where you're moving nonstop and bumping into a wall kills you, so I'll consider this an original idea~ Puzzles were pretty interesting, if not a tad straightforward at times, but the music / sfx is really entertaining. "Whee!"

I've always had a respect for people who attempt to make puzzle games. In any case, well done!

Build The Road Jack by badpaul34 2018-04-26T10:16:11Z

Holy smokes, this was the most fast-paced and well-polished game I've seen so far! It's REALLY clever that you had to make the track as you go, all while you try and choose the ones that will give you the right fuel... I mean, making your own track in games has been done before, but nothing like this, that's for sure! Controls are pretty smooth, too! Great game all around!

Also, you've put Ray Charles' song into my head on loop now. Thanks.

Fowlcard by asyzruffz 2018-04-24T05:14:49Z

Interesting game.... Gotta admit, it took me along while of poking and prodding to figure out what does what. In the end, I just keep using cards s they come without any real strategy, though I imagine you would improve on the card part in the future. Looking forward to seeing the updated version, if you decide to continue!

Click to Not Die by ueki_shurei2006 2018-04-24T11:50:05Z

A rather simple game, and somewhat lacking in content... Still, this sort of thing is expected for games made in such short periods of time. Keep it up!

Clidger by Mathiouza 2018-04-24T15:06:53Z

Qqqqquite the interesting blend of genres you decided on! Ultimately, it feels a lot more like a regular shooter with many upgrade options... but I get the direction you were going for. The extra clickers seem rather... what exactly do they do? They sit outside of the play area, not doing anything... Best way to play seemed to be to simply spam money bonus and pickup range, then you'll earn tons even if you end up killing just one enemy.

All in all, a rather tough game, but not bad overall in execution. Well done~

Remote Bot by Yngvarr 2018-04-26T00:18:46Z

This was rather enjoyable! I certainly enjoy the choice of aesthetics, for one, and it looks really polished for such simple art and sound. The one thing I was the most impressed about was your level design and balancing. At no point did I feel too frustrated, and the checkpoints were spaced out nicely, allowing you to try again quickly after a particularly tricky section, and reward you for clearing it. It's rare to see a properly crafted experience like this in a game jam; you must've done a reasonable amount of playtesting. All in all, great job!

Story Collabs by Maakep 2018-04-26T14:14:15Z

Booted it up, took a moment to catch up with the story, then proceeded to close my laptop and walk away. I suppose that's the problem with collaborative things on the internet: it's only a matter of time before it's soiled, no pun intended. The idea is a novel one, at least, though... I wouldn't really call it a game? While the program itself doesn't seem to follow the theme, the content that's being generated is CERTAINLY making up for it! Fantasy scat comedy. Good Lord, bless Carlos' soul.

NIGHT CLICKER by smaganik 2018-04-25T11:28:30Z

Y'know what? That was a really cool game, given the circumstances! You guys somehow merged a clicker and a horror game, and used it to your advantage. Very well designed! Atmosphere was top-notch, thanks to the choice of sound and good graphics... not to mention the heartbeat thing. With a bit of polish, this could be a really spoopy game, for sure. Bravo, and well done~

7575 by Shivur 2018-05-06T07:30:28Z

Heh, such a silly game... I have a feeling swearing doesn't actually do anything, does it. Found myself using it QUITE often, though. Getting the first cow over was alright, but then suddenly the game started acting weird... Am I meant to have collision with the cows or not? Keep clipping inside them and getting stuck in odd places.... After trying to stuff the brown cows over to the gravel for a while, I gave up and hit reset... only to find out I now had DOUBLE the cows to push. That's when I said fuuuuuuuq that.

But yeah, it's a strange blend of relaxing and... not relaxing. There's no rush to put the cows where they belong, but man, when you try to.... Ugh. Maybe I feel your pain now. Either way, not a bad game!

Bait and Switch: LD41 entry by gafblizzard 2018-04-29T08:36:28Z

Not a bad game at all! Dove in head first without reading the instructions for some reason, but even then, I managed to figure out the rules eventually. Gotta say, was surprised when the tiny orange fish ate my giant blue fish... Unfortunately, I couldn't QUITE wrap my head around the puzzle at level 10 onwards... Don't exactly know why. Also, fish sometimes get stuck on the seaweed (especially the yellow ones), which forces me to release them in order to continue. Still, it's very clever, plus the art style is GORGEOUS. Well done, overall!

GHOST JOB by paulhocker 2018-05-10T10:49:39Z

Gotta say, took a while to figure out what the heck was happening. After reading the instructions properly (sorta), I found out I can just spam 2 and 3, moving back and forth and stunlocking groups of people at a time. Game became super easy, and got to the end without any challenge.

Nnnnot quite sure if this game fits the theme very well. Well, execution wise, that is. Doesn't feel like a horror game at all, it's just a not-scary horror-themed puzzle game. Perhaps with a bit of polish, you can get across what you were going for, but at this moment, it's hard to say.

Retro Cards! by boblova 2018-04-25T00:05:21Z

Hm. An interesting idea, I suppose, though understandably, with the 100 event limit, the execution falls flat at places. Main bug I got was where I got stuck in the restarting loop in Space Invaders... And once, in Pong, I got a very sharp angle that bounced the ball up and down while making very slow progress forwards... before it started to bounce back towards me halfway through! A good effort, given the circumstances and the scope.

A Tale of Comedy and Tragedy by jelch 2018-04-24T15:47:03Z

That was... an interesting experience~ I see you tried to combine theater genres in your narrative, so that was a twist. The puzzles were simple enough; even found a way to play the last level without needing to use the box at the top of the stage. It's a shame there wasn't any real tragedy in the game, though you tried to put in a few puns here and there... You've urned a few points in humor for that, at least. Art and sound were rather delightful, very well done on that end. All in all, a pretty solid entry! Good job!

Match Strike by chainedlupine 2018-04-27T06:30:26Z

Good Lord, this is hella polished! A pretty convincing flight sim on its own, which is impressive given the timeframe... I had no issue with the controls, even though I don't play this sort of thing often... though my landing technique could definitely use some work. Voice acting was spot-on, too, really adds to the atmosphere! As I played through the harder levels, though, it became less of deciding which blocks to hit accurately, and more of spraying the reactor with random machinegun fire in hopes of destroying as much of it as possible in a single run. All in all, it's a really, REALLY impressive entry. Great job!

Tetris Escape 2D by scottthoo 2018-04-24T14:44:18Z

Uh. Well. Uhm. Interesting game, to say the least! It took me a while to figure out what the heck was going on, and I actually tried to make a tetris line until I accidentally escaped. Found the credits at the top, too.

From then on, it was... an exploration sorta thing, fumbled around, trying to figure out wtf was going on... It's really cool to see the tetrominoes being flung about haphazardly like that! Also took me a moment to figure out I had a triple jump... tried making a bridge of discarded tetrominoes before I figured that out.

Hilarious part was the ending, though. Camera pans through the obstacle course, promising to be the final challenge... I jump on one of the discarded tetrominoes, and suddenly, it flings me up skyward, and I land on the final platform to save my girl. Last level turned out to be the easiest level, lol.

Still, I really liked what you were going for there. Good job~

Dungeon Slider by justinooncx 2018-04-25T13:04:23Z

@kyyninen Hah! You weren't the first one to say they hated sliding puzzles, even when I was pitching the idea to others. As for the mana thing, that's a very valid complaint. The original idea was to have no limit to peeks, but enough people suggested it as a mechanic that I decided to give it a shot. Adds a layer of challenge to the puzzle, for sure, but I'm still debating whether its a worthwhile addition or just asinine padding that the player can do without. Either way, thanks for the feedback!

Dungeon Slider by justinooncx 2018-04-26T09:51:35Z

@Rocktavious This was definitely designed with mobile in mind! Still trying to figure out how to export it as an apk, though... not to mention, Google Play integration and all that jazz... I'll need some external help for that!

@Synedraacus I'm still trying to find a clean way to show both the top and bottom layer at the same time, while keeping things like traps and blessed ground hidden. And without making it hard to distinguish the floor from the unit. I'll keep working on it, though. ALSO, the chest thing wasn't a glitch; I'm 99% certain that was a mimic! Use the ? on chests starting from floor 3~4 onwards!

@microwerx Do you remember which game? I'd like to give it a try!

@Librorumque64 That's a fault on my end, was rushing to do UI and decided to recycle a few instead of redrawing. I'll work on it!

@Lukuluk Oh, yes, I did a lot of playtesting with 4x4 first, since 3x3 was too small. I started to realize that with 4x4, there were a lot of situations where the player could get 'stuck' due to random generation, since there was less space for traps and blessed tiles to be spread out. Not to mention, trying to maneuver AROUND a tile you don't want to move is easier on 5x5.

Dungeon Slider by justinooncx 2018-04-27T00:33:51Z

@Hilvon Huh, treasure chests getting destroyed without any interactions....? That's hella strange. No pop-up or anything? I'll have to look into that... But yes, the game is all about positioning those chests in the correct places. That's what a sliding puzzle's strength is, after all! The game kinda gets boring if you simply try to make a mad dash to the exit.

Dungeon Slider by justinooncx 2018-04-29T11:37:27Z

@gafblizzard Oh? When you use the Magnifying Glass, you should be able to see the floor below and its details... Or perhaps you had run out of mana. Hopefully it's not a bug, but I'll check on my end.

Also, I did design it so that you can still get clues on where blessed ground might be based on enemy and chest reactions! Now to do one for traps...

Scrolls by 100th_Coin 2018-04-25T11:17:38Z

This was a pretty fun game to play! Fast-paced an more than a little tricky, especially when you're trying to sift through your inventory to find what you need. There were times where I was held back due to RNG... Couldn't afford the axe (which was just a few acorns), and the quest was to chop down trees... Didn't get an axe in the next town, either. Won't penalize you for it, though, since it's a jam, and imbalances are bound to happen. A solid experience, good job~

Battleship CRUSHER by Hilvon 2018-04-27T01:52:21Z

Hah, this was pretty interesting~ I'm no stranger to playing two games at once, but it took me a bit to get into the groove. Movement's a little odd, since there's no background to be a point of reference, so you're not sure where you're going or how fast. I like how the match-3 play area gets destroyed the more damage you take, that's a pretty neat feature! Aggravating, but neat!

Also, I decided to see if I could abuse the reshuffle system; since it costs nothing and reshuffles the pieces, logically I could get matches automatically by just spamming it! Well, instead, I got this:

Untitled.png

You may notice that I've matched a few colors, but they're not disappearing... I broke something, and it wouldn't register any matches. Game over at that point~

Other than that, this was a pretty neat idea. Good job!

Gradioid by BeamKirby 2018-05-06T08:22:14Z

Man, this game certainly needs more views! I really dig the retro aesthetic, plus the gameplay is pretty solid! I managed to get all the way to the final boss (I think), but MAN is this game tough as nails. Quite like the old days! Took me a while to get used to where things were on the map, but otherwise, both genres were mashed up rather well!

One bug got me stuck for a while: when you transition to the next screen, and you're moving into the ceiling or floor, you die after the transition. Not so bad, but I died after getting the shield, which meant I had to replay that section WITHOUT the worms being frozen. So that was hell.

While I understand you made a design decision with the charge shots, it meant that I had to constantly spam the shoot button, and now my fingers are dead tired. It was especially tricky at the boss fight, when you had to use the shield wisely AND shoot at the same time.... Also, if my bullets go through walls, what's the point of the door that protects the boss???

This thing could be a complete game on its own... Scary amount of content for a compo! Great sound, great art, fun gameplay... One of the best entries I've seen yet! Great job!

Dungeon of High School romance by Toulou 2018-04-28T16:42:07Z

Hah, that was interesting~ It's... not QUITE a well-blended mix, but then again, these two genres ARE quite incompatible, so. The dialogue was cute, and though the combat was shallow, it certainly FELT like an old roguelike dungeon. Overall, as short as it was, I had fun! Well done~

End of the day by Hagge 2018-04-24T14:27:17Z

Iiiiinteresting choice of music.... That aside, it took me a second to figure out what to do, but it was smooth sailing from then on. Not entirely difficult, but not too engaging or challenging either. Also, while holding an object, if you look at a different object, the text changes. Minor bug, really unimportant. Good job in making a complete game.

Marco Polo by microwerx 2018-04-26T08:37:08Z

Simple as the game was, I found myself enjoying the journey quite a bit! I got lucky and picked up a whole lotta missiles, so defense wasn't so bad... though I'd like a way to buy them instead, like a permanent upgrade! Make you think twice about buying those camels and medicine... Speaking of which, how do I actually use medicine? Or is it not for healing, and for diseases and stuff? Even then, I still get hit pretty bad... Other than that, I liked it. Good job!

FPS - Fugly Puzzle Shooter by Fedor 2018-05-02T04:24:04Z

Hmmm... Interesting idea you were going for, but the execution could be better... Your choice of controls for movement and shooting are REALLY weird, for one. Either stick to the tank-style movement and shoot with Space or something, or use the mouse to shoot in that direction and make the player move north-south-east-west with WASD. The puzzles themselves were kinda... flat, I suppose? Not challenging, just tedious, with no surprises or twists. I won't fault you too much on that, though, since this is a jam and all, but you might want to look into that if you continuing developing this game!

All in all, this game could use some work, but it wasn't too bad a game. Good luck if you choose to continue development!

Point'n'Kill by Narudgi 2018-04-24T14:15:09Z

Interesting game! Took a LONG while for me to get the hang of it, though, but once I figured out how the game worked, I managed to get 2k+ in one round. Instructions could be a lot clearer... Also, the 'No' button doesn't work... :(

Other than that, art's pretty nice, and so are the particle effects. Music's pretty catchy, too. Well done!

Remember or Die by GameDevMumin 2018-04-26T13:45:34Z

Frickin' hell, that was difficult as balls. Every wrong answer piles the odds against you, and the shapes are so abstract you don't quite remember what they are... If you plan on making it easier for the player without sacrificing the bullet hell part, use actual pictures that people can associate with! Other than that, it becomes more of a waiting game... Activate one turret, then wait patiently until a blue shot spawns, then do one or two matches, rinse and repeat. Quite easy to break the game... even easier with the print screen function!

Not to say that this game is bad at all, no sir! This was a very innovative idea, and certainly fits the theme well! Not to mention, the music is pretty spiffy~ Overall, a nice game!

Obaké by mrspeaker 2018-04-26T10:32:54Z

Hah! Playing two games at once... That's my jam right there! While the initial part was tricky, I quickly got used to it when I discovered the 2D section was really easy and had no threats to speak of, so it was a matter of strafe-shooting the ghosts. Surprised the jump key didn't make the 2D side jump as well... could've put a few traps or enemies for the player to work around. Even the ledges didn't pose any sort of challenge, since I couldn't walk off. Still, the idea's pretty good and has a lot of promise! Good job!

🌸 Vernal 🌼 by kyyninen 2018-04-25T11:48:34Z

I... think I achieved the end state? Or Nirvana, I'm not sure which. I noticed the beeping and chirping noises before realizing the rain wasn't letting up. Guessing that's the end. I sorta got what the game was about after a bit (I think), though I'm not even sure what genre this is supposed to be, let alone what combination! Still, for a game made on a train, that's pretty impressive~

Cardcade by Simon Rahnasto 2018-04-26T15:12:09Z

Holy shit, I wouldn't have guessed this was done in a game jam! The amount of polish and art in this game is... well, it's production quality, really. Like a true indie title. So much content to go through, too! I find the card-throwing system a little iffy, though, since you need to reach down to grab a card, then pull it up to throw it... Miiiight be easier if I used the scroll wheel to select which card, so I can toss them quickly and efficiently! Good job, overall, you guys are great!

Pinboy-an RPG+ Pinball game by Colleen9416 2018-04-29T07:35:32Z

Gotta say, had a LOT of fun with this one! First off, the artstyle is FANTASTIC. Fell in love with it instantly! Gameplay, while simple, was otherwise functional and a hoot to play! It's a shame that the exposition sections skip over so fast, would've liked to read through the 'lore' for shits and giggles! Oh, and the music... magnifique! Certainly had a blast, despite its short length. Save for a few tiny, insignificant gripes, this is one of the best ones I've played so far. Good job!

Blob Dungeon by Mikeliosus 2018-04-29T10:35:13Z

Before I begin, gonna say that this review is based off the LD submission, and not the updated ones, so certain things may or may not still be applicable!

For the most part, the game is pretty enjoyable, though... a little uninspired, perhaps? Not really your fault; puzzle metroidvanias are done to death. I expected a bit more... bubble-puzzles, instead of a gun that just destroys similar colored objects. But that's just me.

Art's pretty nice, for sure, and the music is rather calming~ Odd when it plays during that one boss fight out of nowhere, but eh, that wasn't a dealbreaker or anything.

My strong suit is in design (at least, compared to everything else), so I'll start prodding the level design a bit... Puzzles weren't all that puzzly, but that's not really a bad thing, I guess? And once I figured out how secret walls looked like, finding all the stars was relatively easy (which I did). A little sad that only the blue color had a secondary use, unless there was something I missed about the other two colors... Level design was alright, I suppose. Really big, with things to do in them, which is very impressive for a LD entry!

Only 1 puzzle annoyed me a little, which was the 'guess the hole' puzzle. Those aren't really fun, it's just... trial and error. Oh, and I softlocked myself by toying around with the blue shots! If you manage to shoot a blue shot against the wall while standing really close to it, the crystal pushes you INTO it, making you clip into the wall. You've probably fixed this by now, but just in case....

Either way, it's certainly a very ambitious project. Interested to see where it goes, and how you guys are gonna play with what you're given. Good job, guys, and good luck!

Bomberess by Baski 2018-04-26T10:01:38Z

That's a pretty good game! Works surprisingly well to make a very tense situation, since you need to wait for the bomb to explode, while the back wall slowly catches up on you... not to mention, big explosions are actually rather detrimental, since you have to run further back for cover sometimes! Could use a bit of polish, though. I remember spawning in a blocked off 1x1 square... but blowing myself up didn't kill me. Which was a little confusing. Still, great job!

Cauliflower Power by Librorumque64 2018-04-26T11:31:36Z

The HTML5 version didn't seem to work... but I'm happy I decided to download the TIC80 program and play it! The puzzles were not too challenging, for the most part, and I like the humor you put in the game. Only bug I saw was with the chase sequence, where the guy finishes his patrol by zooming off-screen through the bushes in a straight line... No idea if that was intentional. Art's also pretty spiffy! Well done, overall!

Miss Priss by jfraser314 2018-04-25T15:42:31Z

Hm. Game seems to be... a SMIDGE unstable. Can't seem to shoot during the non-boss sections, so I ended up running to the Bulk... Seems that it's caused by me shooting the Bulk early during the opening or something. What's considered a background and a wall is also rather hard to see, so I end up getting stuck and killed. When restarting the game after death, the music keeps playing, and begins to overlap... As for the last boss, on the third attempt, he jumped on top of me, and the whole game just froze. So that was the end of the session.

Still, it wasn't all bad! Humor was nice, and the music was pretty catchy! Good luck on polishing and bug-fixing!

Miss Priss by jfraser314 2018-04-26T00:47:29Z

From what I recall, I wasn't flying when I tried to shoot. Especially at the last boss, where I just sat there and tried to shoot him before anything happened. I could always shoot just fine at the intro sequence, though, but after that...

Oh, also, thanks for supplying me with a gif of my own game!

Harvest: The Farming - Red Owl Games by Rocktavious 2018-04-26T03:32:30Z

A pretty good game! Took a bit of getting used to, but eventually settled into a nice rhythm. Plant a seed, count how much it cost to upkeep, and just make sure you harvest at a net profit. Having irrigation counter drought was pretty cool, but I couldn't figure out how to counter drowning, or that... other affliction. I don't know what that is, looks like a little green sperm or something. None of my cards at that time could remove that debuff.

Either way, not a bad entry at all! Well done!

Late Night Shopping by Kciwsolb 2018-05-01T02:04:25Z

Hm, not a bad entry~ Very polished art, for one, and the atmosphere is pretty good! Gameplay is simple enough; though there were times that the obstacles spawned in such a way that it was almost impossible to NOT get hit... As for the horror part... While the game certainly has the mood of one, there were no jumpscares or anything, from the looks of it. So it's just an infinite runner with a horror theme, not really combined with a horror genre... The death animation is hilarious, though, and really cool to look at! Oh, for some reason, I couldn't hear any music on my end... Sound effects were there, though.

All in all, a nice entry. Well done!

Beat Street by solluxx 2018-05-01T02:28:01Z

Huh, pretty interesting game~ Unfortunately, I'm not entirely sure what the goal of this game is, which affects how I play and enjoy it. Is there a time/day limit where you tally the final score? Perhaps a monetary amount or population target to reach which ends the game once you do? If it's just a game that lasts forever until you screw up, then this game is a tad too easy... Nothing's forcing me to make bigger, riskier cities, and so I sit there, content with the slow income rise and low risk, booping the few notes that come by... and inevitably, I get bored. Still, the concept is rather solid, though I'd love to have actual music or something to go with the rhythm game. Otherwise, it's... well, a set of quicktime events.

With a bit of polish, I think this could be a real gem! Good job, and keep at it, guys!

I bet that your CATS look good in the dance floor by agar3s 2018-04-28T16:22:14Z

Iiiiinteresting little game! Unfortunately, I didn't have a friend to play with, but I explored the game by myself for a bit. Easy to understand, though seemingly tricky to master... I have a feeling I'll find the best way to win eventually, like tic-tac-toe, but you've rather wisely designed the patterns in such a way that having gaps in your defense is almost guaranteed. Nice art, and a funky beat to groove to! A simple design, executed well. Good job!

Minion's Mobile Market by EthanTheBrave 2018-04-24T14:56:22Z

Interesting little game~ A little bit of stealth, little bit of dungeon crawler, little bit of vendor sim... Music's a little wonky, but I adored the voxel art! Their animations are quite expressive for being made out of voxels, well done! Monster/Master and hero paths seem to be well thought out... couldn't really find an exploit or easy way to earn that sweet gold coin without getting bitchslapped.

Could use some polish, but overall, pretty good!

Jump & Cards by Beh 2018-04-24T12:02:13Z

Frickin- Man, this was a rather difficult game to do. Couldn't jump up the ledge after the long spike pit, since I needed to collect 2 speed and jump to make it with a short runway. To be fair, you've combined two incredibly incompatible genres, so I won't penalize you for it... but some genres should not mix. What have you done.

In all seriousness, it was pretty fun! Good job!

The Lake Of Horrors by WongKongPhooey 2018-04-24T14:04:06Z

Started off trying to ram my line into the hopping piranhas, until I re-read the instructions and aimed for the ripples. Still, the rod controls are... sorta wonky, getting stuck every so often. Makes the fishing more of a chore... Art's preeeetty sweet, though. Can't really see what the 2nd theme is; if it's horror/survival, it's not too clear. Otherwise, not a bad game at all~

Birdy by HagamosVideojuegos 2018-04-26T12:23:49Z

Phew. That took a lot longer than I thought it would... A shame the save button doesn't save your current level, just what level you're on! Managed to beat the game and collected all oranges. Not bad at all, seems you thought these levels out rather well! Not too much to comment here, unfortunately, it was a pretty solid experience. Good job!

Education to survive by loonydrope 2018-04-26T08:51:24Z

A rather simple game in concept, but it gets the job done, for sure! My experience was a TAD buggy, though.... Not sure if that's because of my potato laptop, though. At one point, I couldn't type the answer, even after clicking on different targets and on the typing spot with my mouse. On the start of one of the levels, a zombie spawned with 0+0, and the answer was already filled in for me (0), but I couldn't hit enter.

Either way, I wouldn't want to study in that school. I'd rather take my chances with the zombies. Well done~

Sadie's Stabby Sword Story by Elowan 2018-05-01T02:46:17Z

Hm, a pretty interesting game... Art, music and sound were pretty good, so I'll get that out of the way first~ It took me a while to get used to the flinging mechanic, as simple as it was, and it took me 3 levels to figure out why... When you click and hold the mouse button, there's a brief moment that the sword takes to lift off the ground... which actually affects my trajectory when I've been pulling my mouse away by that time. Ends up having half the power, since it only starts calculating when the sword is ready, instead of when my button is pressed down. It made the game frustrating at the beginning when it wasn't responding as it should, and I tried to remedy it by increasing the window view... but after every level, the window just reverted back! Why??? Still, once I got the hang of clicking, waiting half a second, THEN pulling the sword, it became a lot easier.

Oh, at the end screen, it seems I still have control over the sword... and I proceeded to kill the princess, restarting the level. Miiiight wanna fix that.

Other than that, game was pretty solid all around. Good job, guys!

Indirectris by Synedraacus 2018-04-26T12:39:08Z

A really interesting game, for sure... but MAN is it difficult! It's a constant struggle against the game's physics, which normally don't work the way you want it to. Also, it's a TAD strange we don't get the option to rotate the tetrominoes... Could make it a smidge easier. Overall, though, the idea is pretty interesting, especially how you spawn tetrominoes and detect when it gets too high! Not bad at all.

Indirectris by Synedraacus 2018-04-26T15:53:25Z

It would make it easier, for sure. Whether or not that's how you want the game's direction to be is something else entirely! Either way, the pieces are hard enough to control as they are, so...

- Arc Boss - Sternum vs The DDDmension Faries by ElusiveMilestone 2018-04-25T00:24:25Z

When played intentionally, this game is actually rather fun, and difficult! Shield bashing is an interesting mechanic, encouraging you to risk your hiney and get up close and personal with multiple fairies... I tried to gather as many greens on the ground as possible before leaping in and bashing them, but it ended up as well as you'd expect.

Until I ended up in the corner, which ironically felt nothing like being cornered.

piscythe has already mentioned the bugs he encountered when exploiting the game that way, so I won't go into detail. I like that you chose art genres instead of mechanics, though I feel the marriage could have been a little more interesting... Other than that, art's pretty alright, and the music choice is pretty frickin' great. Good job, overall!

Waifu Gear Solid by North Chu 2018-04-24T11:41:10Z

Humorous little game! Managed to do a minor bug when I grapple-hooked at the last second, showing a copy of my character hiding behind Yuuki. Can't seem to figure out how to get past her (if it's even possible), but it's extra funny that the only way you can escape is with Alt+F4! At least, I couldn't find any other way. Good job!

Witch's Escape by cristiano.m.garcia 2018-05-07T14:09:27Z

Interesting game, though it started of kinda slow... When the difficulty ramps up, though, it REALLY ramps up. Nice art all around, and the effects are neat! Could do with some sound, or perhaps the web version I played on GameJolt was bugged. Couldn't hear a thing.
