Had to do 3 tries before getting the hang of it. Very nice idea. I found that level to be really hard, maybe I need more practice XD. Overall nice game, hope you implement more levels into it.

Great game, lots of fun! The game was extremely hard until I figured out that (a) I could throw items from a distance (b) I didn't need 4 ingots to make a sword, I just had to hit the one ingot 4 times.
Hi, nice game and congratulations ! Simple mechanics that still offered a decent amount of challenge. We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #36. We made the same thing at the previous jam.
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description.
The art is nice and it's an interesting concept, but I found the controls to be kind of bloated. I feel like you could probably have dropped the throwing mechanic and just had the player auto-pickup and auto-drop ore/bars when you walk over them. It seems like this game has a lot of potential though!
btw, there are 2 different fullscreen buttons (one on the itch.io page, and one in the Unity webgl export). You should probably try to set it up so that you only need one.
This was actually a pretty interesting one! It took a while to get the hang of crafting stuff, but it was quite fun once I got the gist of it. Pretty damn hard, though. Good job.
The controls were a little awkward. The first time I played I couldn't get anything to work. The second time I played, I played more slowly and go the hang of it. I like how the player has to balance doing different tasks. You don't get to focus as much on how the cool things you're making are affecting the "battle" up top though. Great job overall!
The controls are pretty difficult to understand, but the game is fun once you get the hang of it. Really enjoyed the music.
Hmmm... looked interesting but I couldn't really understand the controls. There didn't seem to be any relationship between what I was pressing and what happened on the screen!?
I enjoyed this game. It's a really cool concept once you figure it out. It'd be kinda fun to see a further-expanded version. :D
Great game and concept! The only flaw the difficulty was to high (For me), anyways well done!
It seems the only challenge in the game is how quickly you can repeat the mine-smelt-craft cycle, but it was painful to play because of the confusing controls.
Really neat game! I included it in my compilation video series of Ludum Dare 36, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/rUX8vUSl-y0
This was an okay game, but it was so close to being an awesome game. The graphics were fun and well used. The sounds were also fun as was the music. The basic game mechanics were well executed.
The problem was the awkward and confusing controls. To get a weapon to an ally you have to 1) mine with left mouse, 2) pick up ore with right mouse, 3) walk ore to the smelter or throw ore with right mouse, 4)pick up metal with right mouse, 5) set the correct number with left mouse, 6) forge with space, 7) pick up the item with right mouse, and 8) bring the item to an ally.
The number of steps is fine! The problem is having to switch back and forth between the mouse buttons. I don't think it added anything and really only got in the way. Making everything use the same mouse button, or make certain actions happen automatically would have gone a long way to making the game a ton of fun.
Cute graphics and interesting mechanic.
However, the game is too easy, right now. I only crafted swords, but that was enough to hold the enemies back.
Also, I got quite confused with the controls. Sometimes, I would mistakenly press spacebar instead of Z (to increase the number on the anvil).
