very cool! great mood. also very nice that you can play any way you want.
my only complaint is that on a mac (single mouse button track pad), zooming out doesn't work. perhaps you can add a quick "+"/"-" zoom alternative?

I liked the soothing music and the look of the water, the island and the child. I also found the growing mechanic interesting, and I liked that you can choose how to play.

Unfortunately, it got laggy and downright unplayable once I neared the star. I'm not sure if something was supposed to happen when I reached it, but I never saw a win screen. It got to the point where there were yellow and green branches on-screen despite my having clicked Ok to the growing. Might be because I clicked too quickly while it was lagging.

Maybe you can fix that, if so I'd be willing to try it again. Good luck :)

Haha yeah, the game will lag if there are too many objects in the scene, I wasn't able to remove overlapping objects and optimization for the game (combining all created objects in the scene into one hence reducing draw calls).

Also there were plans to add in more block types, players get to choose which block to use when in the select grow path state. This will allow players to create structures that should look pretty great.

A bit too easy, it seems, not to mention it starts to lag when there's too many branches. Otherwise, a soothing, relaxing game.

I like the music and the water reflections. I think if the totem were more artistic, the game would be awesome. And it could have a defeat condition, like some sort of energy spent on each grow, limiting it, that way the player would need to optimize its use. But this is just my opinion, the game is well done and the idea is nice.

First time I started the game, I couldn't click 'ok' after choosing grow. Second time I could only grow once, then 'ok' once again did not work. :(

All great and helpful feedback guys. @justin, yes I would also like to add in puzzle elements such as obstacles that the players need to avoid when growing. @beetracks, I would also like to add in more artistic elements to the totems, which matches the game mood.

Sorry to hear that @steve, I will check the game codes.
