LD34 — Two Button Controls / Growing

THOSE GOD DAMN SHEEP!!! by jellycubestudio 2015-12-14T15:59:00

Really like the artistic style, and those sound effects are hilarious. Needs background music though. Also, like others have said, the white sheep move WAY too fast. Also, losing puts me in an infinite loop of dialog boxes coming up in Chrome.

Invasion by AxeTheory 2015-12-15T17:29:00

Really cool concept. Some issues for me:

1. The audio gets more glitchy over time, ending in a mess of clicks and stuff

2. You may want to make it less likely for each consecutive vertical piece built that the next one will also be vertical.

Ludum Party! by FuzzyWuzzie 2015-12-14T03:41:00

Very nice music. There should really be a "next game" button though.

V BALL by longloaf 2015-12-16T20:55:00

That was very fun. Controls and physics were really great, although I wish it also had wasd support so I could give my right hand a rest. Very addictive.

Plantagone by Gins 2015-12-16T20:37:00

I really liked this. The only thing I could think of is that it may make it a bit more bearable to play over time if the hop "stride" were increased a bit. That, and some fun music :)

They Call It Lucy by kiv 2015-12-15T17:39:00

I... didn't like it. I get that you're trying to go for some kind of aesthetic, but you need to remember that it's a game, and games need to have at least some level of intuition.

Oh, and clicking the base planet several times in a row makes the game lag to the point of not being playable.

Chain letter by saebyn 2015-12-14T03:48:00

Seemed kinda boring. Some nice gentle music would have helped.

Germinate by djdudes100 2015-12-16T21:08:00

Fun concept. I especially like the idea of growing bigger being your difficulty curve. Needs something telling you that you click on the germs to kill them, though.

Don't Burst The Blob by seurimas 2015-12-14T03:45:00

Took me a bit to realize that I was actually controlling the blob in the start menu and I didn't have to CLICK the "start" text. Other than that, fantastic game!

Stock Pop by shellbot 2015-12-16T20:30:00

I like the concept. Seems a bit hard though; I would recommend lowering the quotas by a LOT. Maybe even make the first level's quota "Don't make a net loss."

Easy Job? by TajamSoft 2015-12-16T21:04:00

Not exactly sure how this is supposed to work. It seems that the chopper isn't working for me (i.e. I press K when the bubble fills with some food) and nothing happens. Also, the sound gets a bit grating and shouldn't go on past the game over screen. Cool concept though.

Little Big Dash by Evannex 2015-12-14T03:52:00

Interesting idea, but I don't think it works very well with two-button controls. Also, the volume slider doesn't work with Chrome.

Beatz! by PC Ferreira 2015-12-14T16:07:00

Fantastic game, tons of fun. The timing seems a tad bit off, but I love the concept, and the tracks are fantastic.

Conservation of Ninjutsu by kuhnerdm 2015-12-14T23:46:00

Thank you all very much for the compliments, ESPECIALLY for the music. If you guys don't know (which you probably don't), I make a lot of music in my free time, and you can check it out here :) https://soundcloud.com/derekmk

Conservation of Ninjutsu by kuhnerdm 2016-01-03T22:02:00

Thank you very much for the kind comments, everyone! I'll take to mind the notes about how the controls are explained.

Pig Game by knason 2015-12-16T20:40:00

Graphics are pretty nice, but it needs an indicator for where the shot is going to go.

FloppySnake by zguerrero 2015-12-14T23:52:00

I like it! Pretty simple game, with very pretty graphics, especially with the mini-explosions when you pick up a white cell.

LD35 — Shapeshift

Geometry Ninja by anissen 2016-04-21T18:47:00

I like the concept, and I think it's done pretty well from a programming level. It's a tad annoying that the little white cursor ball doesn't exactly follow your mouse cursor on the dot, and the sfx are a bit grating. Good job on the gameplay, though! The controls feel satisfying.

Sharpshifter by jonnopon3000 2016-04-21T19:21:00

Good concept, but borderline-ruined by the fact that, on the web player on Firefox, it doesn't hide the mouse cursor, and the actual X cursor is displaced from the mouse cursor by a set amount. Very difficult to play because of that. Also, the fire rate seems a bit too high; it's probably possible to get by just by going in small circles and holding down the fire button.

The Big Fist by matt beckett 2016-04-21T19:06:00

Love the concept, love the spritework and the overall style. Really enjoyed this one.

Side Effects by The Mad Strauss 2016-04-21T19:16:00

Very much enjoyed this one. The spritework is nice, and the dialogue is hysterical. One thing that's a little annoying for me is that the blade-kinda-guy seems to be a little OP because of how fast he moves. Also, I'm getting some slowdown issues on the web player on Firefox. Not sure if that's intentional, but either way it's a little annoying.

Squares and Circles by jmintb 2016-04-21T18:51:00

Really like the concept and the gameplay. I feel like it would be a bit more fair if it automatically generated a random shape if you go to a ring that doesn't have any shapes. That way you never get into an unwinnable state.

Red Vs Blue by kuhnerdm 2016-04-21T22:56:00

To all those saying they killed all the enemies on the last level, and nothing happened: There are hidden enemies above the second row of platforms :)

ChickenMan by meisterfuu 2016-04-21T19:00:00

Pretty funny concept. Execution was a little poor on the physics side. It's fairly easy to cheat almost every level just by wall-jumping up one wall, like in Metroid or Mega Man X. Also, I found myself frequently falling through floors and such.
