This is really nice. A very polished piece of work. Takes one mechanic and runs with it.

Clearly by the guy who made papers, please! Another entertaining dystopic game. Right in his wheelhouse.
Funny little game!
This game could very much use an in-game reference for the controls. Also, the timing seemed a little off to me. More indication of the rhythm would help. Even on easy, it was nearly impossible.
I destroyed 79 buildings! WOOO! The televisions showing your destruction of the city were a really nice touch.
I love the don't starve aesthetic of your game. Very nice. By the third play, the birds don't spawn, though. Or they didn't for me.
Holy m*****f****** s***. This is amazing. Color me very impressed. I just wish you had a choice at the end. Still, this is one of the most intense experiences I've had from LD33.
Is the only thing that it's possible to do light the fire? Nice art, though.
What an excellent idea. Was this made in pico-8? Really enjoyed it. Ok, review done, time to play it again.
I'm no monster! I'm just a cat who wants to be alone.
Wow. This is truly an excellent twine take on the theme. I quite enjoyed myself. Played it twice.
Great idea for a game! I like it a lot.
I did finally get the hang of the controls, but man, I gotta tell you, the game would be more fun if the controls were slightly easier! I think it would be slightly easier if the physics were more realistic.
I also would occasionally bump a platform with the cup and be told that I had lost, even though the cup was still firmly on the saucer.
The graphics are great! Everything contributes to a really nice, but simple aesthetic. I'm confused by why I'm collecting the little glowing things, but I love their motion.
Cool little concept. Gotta admit, aiming is kinda difficult. Nice animation and model for the mech, though. At one point, I decided to try to die by just running into the largest crowd of tanks, but then they ran away so I guess I won!
puppy!!!!!
No Audio? Anyway, this is interesting. I like exploring the castle.
The player just moves so slowly, though! It tries my patience.
Would definitely be interested to know what you would have added if you had time. Nice work for 12 hours.
Concept is really nice. Graphics are simple, but effective. However, being seen doesn't reduce loneliness nearly enough to make the game balanced.
funny little game! nice musical take on the theme. I had more fun just playing around with the waving tentacles than anything else lol.
The first levels are too easy, imo. All you have to do is keep mousing over people until two of them say that the werewolf is the same person. Still, fantastic art and a pretty well-executed game mechanic.
Man, this is beautiful and really well thought out. A brilliant short-form gaming experience.
I'm running Windows 7, and your game doesn't run for me. A black box opens up, and then goes away. Maybe it's my system, I'll check back later.
got it to work! Nice! I like being the slime.
Enforcing curses is surprisingly fun...
I really want to like this game... I really do. But it's so hard to see, and even with headphones, it's nearly impossible to tell where the alien is coming from because the minimap/radar thing doesn't rotate with the player. Played for a while and sometimes got hit, but I don't think I ever hit the alien or even saw it.
Still, the sound effects were great and contributed to a great mood!
The camera made things difficult, it would be nice to have some camera control with the mouse or something. Tentacles were nice, though.
My best death toll was 78!
nice level generation! A bit easy, but fun!
Nice work! I would have loved it if at the end, that guard had gotten into a teleporter.
Kinda fun, but tenuous connection to the theme. Sometimes, I would have a star completely inside a circle, but it wouldn't register. Other times, I would have a star just on the border, and it would register.
This is excellent! Love it. I think more instructions would really help with the learning curve. Fairly easy once I figured it out, but at first I didn't realize the connections between different parts of the interface or what I was supposed to be doing.
much artsy so psychology wow
Super fun, guys. The monster truck handles so well!
haha! You are the monster in how you run away from the monster. Love the idea. The "controls" weren't clear to me at first. I only figured them out by accident.
Pretty fun. I wish I could stomp the tanks and bat the planes out of the sky, or at least aim my laser beam. Nice pixel explosions! I like them.
Flailing simulator! I enjoyed it. I particularly enjoyed catching bombs and throwing them.
People kept running into me even though I was roaring. I guess that's what panicked people do...
Very nice. I love that you have to kill some people to keep the pressure plates pressed to get out. I'd like it if the timer was how long you were able to keep control of yourself, and once the timer was up, you had to watch the monster slaughter everyone without being able to control it.
Funny, but I wonder how it scores. Is it random?
I don't think this relates to the theme... Also, the game mechanic seems to have nothing to do with the story, which seems to abruptly end. Nice music though.
interesting concept! Had some good fun playing it. However, I couldn't shoot fireballs to the left. Being able to jump would also really help.
This is a great idea! Cool twist on the platforming mechanic. However, the amount of sliding that the character does, particularly in werewolf state, makes everything feel kinda floaty and makes it difficult to position yourself in the one-block moonbeams.
Wow. That was really, really impressively creepy. Fantastic work.
I wish the monster could run! Hilarious game, though.
haha! That's really fun and cool. The graphics are perfect for the game, I think. Short, sweet, and perfectly self-contained.
web link doesn't work! just ads and then a blank page
It moves a bit too fast, I think. Maybe I just like easier games!
it's not working for me on my windows 8 system! gets stuck on a screen with a bunch of 40s that I assume is a loading screen.
Movement is pretty finicky. I like the game's concept, though.
Thanks for the feedback, everyone! I'm going to go play all of your games.
Justin - darn! I was hoping no one would be able to beat level 11. Yeah, the game ends there because I didn't have time to make more levels.
Warxen - you're absolutely right about that. Didn't occur to me until after I had submitted, though.
Thanks, Jupiter_Hadley! I appreciate it!
Anglerteam, you can cross the rivers at the dark parts!
Cute game.
I ate many carbon based lifeforms. I used bombs, and it was not sporting, but it was effective. Tasty, crunchy, carbon-based lifeforms. I sold their organs. Then I fell victim to existential ennui, and quit the game.
Fun!
Great graphics!
Frank seems to need momentum to jump forward? that would be an interesting concept in a game in which the player has more time to react to oncoming obstacles.
That's really impressive. Freezes occasionally for me, though.
Nice little game! I enjoyed consuming souls. And blowing buildings up.
that web link is not a link to a web version of the game... YouTube is not what the web link is for...
really cool idea! the movement is really choppy, though, to the point that it is difficult to play.
The jump doesn't work for me.
Controls are non-obvious, you should put them up here.
Won't load for me.
Interesting idea.
hahahaha this is very funny and surprisingly difficult. I like that the common cold is worse than the zombie apocalypse
Nice work! a fun entry. I had a few problems where cops would literally come out of walls and practically teleport over to where I was.
Things I learned from this game:
-Satan is slow af.
-Satan is a baby face.
-Satan cannot turn around.
-The easiest way to be safe from Satan is to run up a wall because he can't turn around and his smash attack only reaches in front of him.
I'm using firefox, but the unity webplayer won't load.
I played this last night, and man, there's a steep learning curve! I like it, though. It's a great idea and I hope you develop it further! For some reason, I can't play it from my work computer or I would be wasting some time right now :(
Hmm. I like the idea, but there's absolutely no sense that my decisions matter. I guess that's the point, but it would be a lot more fun if there was at least flavor text illustrating specific reactions instead of generic ones.
Funny!
I am the cookie monster! Rargh! I eat you! I eat you and stomp on you!
I had a blast playing this. I do wish that the green cookies that I'm trying to protect did a better job protecting themselves.
I love the look of this game! It is fun to just walk around. The aesthetic is quite nice, though the camera is occasionally frustrating. If there's a win state, a lose state, or a way to actually scare the guards, I couldn't find it.
Wow, this is fun. and really intense at the end. Great job!
Wow, this is a pretty interesting experience with a thoughtful political message embedded in the mechanics. I like it a lot!
The helicopter was occasionally a little unpredictable to maneuver, and I wish I could gain altitude to fly over the larger buildings.
Also, I wonder about how the grade was calculated. I decided to try to make this a recon mission to observe every insurgent, and I just didn't get a grade. Might be more interesting if I got some kind of feedback (negative or positive) for not killing anyone but observing a lot of people.
182478! I had a "blast" playing your game! The movement just feels so good, and the missiles and explosions are hilarious. One bug: you can teleport back to the center by pressing space at any time if you only use the dashes.
Excellent work.
I'm a terribly ineffective space firefighter... But I think this only really connects to the theme because of the drug part?
The levels are too large to be possible to contain fires. It would also help if there was some indication of where the fires were.
Hmmm. You are the monster that the newspaper reports about, and dehumanizes in order to allow the rest of us the luxury of not dealing with the social problems that cause mass shootings, etc. And the game dehumanizes you in the same way that mass media does.
Am I reading way too much into this?
Great mood, the slowly floating cargo is fun to watch, music was cool.
interesting take on the genre, and nice core mechanic.
Well, the graphics are great. Looks quite polished. The controls are finicky, particularly regarding the jumping mechanic. It was particularly frustrating when bats would fly underneath the reach of the sword swing. Also, please don't have the player start over at the first level every time...
Nice work, though!
I had fun! the pacing should be a little more gradual - a few tweaks there and I could lose lots of time enjoying this game. So satisfying when you can spin around sending shots every direction!
Very cool, short, fun. Innovative!
yeah...............it got to me. it would take less time to get to me if (a) the bloody music didn't start over every time you died (b) there was any sort of margin for error (IF precision required for puzzle > precision of controls THEN frustration) and (c) there was more of an indicator of when the orb is about to switch back. Maybe have it flash?
Nice work. Cool dimension shifting concept. definitely some brain twisting puzzles!
Fantastic, once you get the hang of the controls. The level design is fantastic, but the last level is frustrating!
hmmm. This is interesting, but I could never really tell a difference between the forms other than speed and firepower. Still, nice entry.
Well, I think that there's something here that's worthwhile, but I can't get the hang of it enough to really figure out what
audio got a little obnoxious after a while, but this is a nice, polished puzzle game with some good progression of skills. a little balancing, and it would be great!
controls are definitely challenging. also, in fullscreen mode at least, became impossible to actually turn all the way around.
yes, have a web version! I think the controls are a nice part of the challenge, but I do really wish that you had put an option to invert the Y axis. anyway, great, really fun, wonderful entry. I'm going to keep this one around on my computer - you should add in a free-flight mode, because I enjoy just flying around without any time limit :)
this is pretty neat. sometimes the stones collected scroll gets in the way of seeing the ground. fun mechanic, nice graphics, good sound
This is great! hope I can get my fiance to play it with me...
high score is 90. fun stuff, man.
The mouse controls are way over-sensitive, and it was hard to gauge where I was in relation to the rings. nevertheless, good work!
After the purple block glitch killed me for the 7th time (because spikes), I gave up. Didn't get to experience the bat, but this is a fun, retro game with lots of cool possibilities. I particularly like the re-use of the levels.
took me a while to realize that i was taking damage when I ran into cacti lol. nice work, congrats on finishing!
This is exactly the kind of game that I hoped to see come out of this jam! a druid game! wish there was better lighting and that the fox was faster, but great work!
nice concept! One bit of feedback: you really need an indication of what colors are on or off; it's a headache to try to remember/figure it out.
Nice work! wonderful graphics, great length, fantastic mood.
I can't seem to play the game on kongregate, so I won't rate it.
great graphics and audio, very nice concept. Two bits of feedback: it's very difficult to tell if there is a heart directly in front of your shape; perhaps don't spawn hearts directly in front of the player. Also, when your health gets low and the screen starts flashing, that makes it particularly difficult (especially for people with visual impairments) to see what's going on at all.
Haha! We had similar ideas. Try out my game! Nice execution of this concept.
More variety could have made this really interesting. Physics was a little wonky. Overall, fun, relaxing little experience.
WebGL ran out of memory! Anywho, great concept, love it! Had a lot of fun.
framerate gets really choppy really quickly! cool concept though
