Not sure what was happening, but I managed to flood the world and make what I can only assume are red worm cities. Took a while to afford a condo but I got there. I also got stuck somehow? Nice graphics.

I too was confused but there is something to be said for a game that can get the idea across without needing a lot of explanation. That said, I sort of wish there was a little more depth to the strategy. Once I had a manor or two I basically alternated between "Charm" and the weird spell that lures people to you, to keep them from destroying my buildings until I had enough... number to build a monster condo.
thanks for playing, all :) I agree that the strategy portion of the game is rather thin - I easily spent 80% of my time on the interface without thinking about the actual ... design :P. the 'weird spell' actually harvests all the cc that the base level building collects, as well as royally ticking off humans. just noticed that there was a bug in the ticker at the bottom that doesnt load the other texts :C no gameplay hints there though, just flavor.
I played this last night, and man, there's a steep learning curve! I like it, though. It's a great idea and I hope you develop it further! For some reason, I can't play it from my work computer or I would be wasting some time right now :(
kinda of weird, not reall sure how to get it going
I was a little too confused to really engage with what was going on, but I did manage to raise a manor at least! Looks like maybe something cool was happening but I was kind of missing it because I wasn't sure what everything is.
I definitely respect that you tried not to burden the game with a ton of instruction/tutorial, though! Usually I do like to try to figure them out myself.
Also, the old-school cartridge-era aesthetic was well done.
I had a little bit of trouble figuring out what to do. The graphics are killer though! I would dearly love a tutorial it seems like it's super fun!
Surely confusing at first, but it was fun discovering the gameplay without instructions.
The only real problem I had was the input becoming more and more laggy as the game advanced, (strangely it didn't seem to really affect the display framewate, weird).
I had trouble at the beginning understanding what was going on... but In the end I found out and it's a nice game! Music would have been nice, and a tutorial would help too! :)
Didn't really understand what I was doing? Charm seemed to kill everyone (even me?). Nice pixel art, though.
Graphics looks nice, not sure about what I was doing tho.
I guess there is an idea behind it, but as all the others said it is a bit confusing, i really try to manage to grow things but I easily ended up by being blocked at some point. I wanted to see more of it 'cause the idea is interesting, but yeah hard to see where things point at.
I'm not entirely sure what I played through, but it was weird in a good sort of way. I didn't get much out of the resource grind (although I did manage to build a condo for the worm prince) - my strategy basically consisted of sitting on a manor spamming charm and waiting to heal until I was rich. I didn't manage to figure out what the third spell did, apart from make my flying worm change shape I think? It made people run towards me so I could consume though, which worked in my favour. The UI is very well made, I can see you've put a lot of work into getting it just right and it shows off the flavour text well - it doesn't handle resource scores above 999 all that gracefully though. Interesting, if unorthodox entry - good job!
Nicely mysterious scenario. I enjoyed deciphering the gameplay.
I filled up about half of the map with little towers. But by the time I was ready to build a condo the input lag had become too great to navigate the menu.
