i like the idea, but i kept falling through the floor or floating in air.

I didnt really get it at first as the first few times I started the game I didnt see the square... after I got ahold of the little guy the game was entertaining. You should keep developing

Great concept and very theme appropriate. It took me a bit to understand I had to unpause the game to begin with, but once I got it started it clicked right away what I needed to do. Great job overall.
Lol, the birds a the end got me. Were the animations time based? it seems the sounds slowed down when the fps slowed down.
In any case this goes under another hypnotizing LD game. I couldn't stop playing. Graphics and movement were nice. Well done.

I really enjoyed this game. It would be awesome to see more visuals in the background. Maybe small animations as well as amore backgrounds. All in all this is an awesome game. VERY cool idea!
As a side note it might be nice to get rid of the big wall of text at the beginning and add some teaching moves to the start of the game.

Took me a while to figure out that the weird things were active when I clicked on them; some kind of visual cue there would have helped. Also, was there anything to do with the houses? Everything had a door, but nothing seemed interactive. Other than that, it was pretty cool.

Artwork and game play is real nice. Music was very loud, and I had to turn down my speakers, as there was no in game way to disable. Overall enjoyable.
Couldn't get the shop to work. Is it that I don't have enough money to buy the items? Can't see how much each item cost.

This is a really fun idea. I'm not really sure how well it fits the theme, but it was fun none the less. I played for much longer than I care to admit as it was very entertaining to see all the combinations.

I didn't expect to find a garden simulation here, and would have been more excited if there was some kind of connection (pun) with the theme.
Nice job. At first I thought I had to physically balance the environment, also thought I had to spawn humans only during "the day" so they wouldn't die from the cold. After I got the hang of it I was able to effectively over populate every square inch of both worlds!
Great game over all. Awesome idea and very theme appropriate. Though quite hard to begin with, I can definitely see playing this game a lot to try and master it enough to win.
The sound is REALLY loud. But the graphics are cute and it is FUN. A little wonky to move around but over all awesome job!

@Miziziziz - The levels are each their own file, but it's not that much data. I'm sorry it is taking a while for you. I'll look into making it a bit quicker. Thank you for the heads up!
@LTPATS Thank you so much for the helpful review. I think we would like to expand on it a bit more as well. It was a blast to make. There are some buggy things, loading levels was not done as elegantly as it could have been, so the sluggishness comes from not letting ajax do its thing asynchronously. That can definitely be fixed.
The keys getting stuck has happened to a few people. I'm still trying to work out WHY it does that.
Well there different worlds and originally it wasn't going to be linear but there would be two doors and all the worlds would be connected and similar with different stuff on them. We didn't make it that far. Between content creation, coding, and our lack of experience we did what we could by the deadline.

@JoeEliTommy Thank you for the great feedback. We also felt the randomness was not super useful as the snakes are a bit too agile and they are hard to kill in great numbers mixed with the cactuses. We just didn't have enough time to tweak things the way we wanted before submission date.
The difficulty progression of the game could be tweaked a quite a bit. We are working on a cleaner version but we don't want to confuse that version with the ludum version. In any case we would love to get your feedback on the new version. Thank you for the great feedback!!

The art isn't bad but the controls leave a bit to be desired. The character is cute. Reminds of an older game named "rampage" (I think) where you just destroy a city. That game was very satisfying and i feel this game just barely missed the mark. Though using the child as the "monster" was very creative. Well done for a weekend!
Ha, this is reminiscent of pressing '1' and then '+' and then '=' on the calculators when I was younger. Well done. pretty entertaining to get a bunch of monsters saved per second.
A nice touch would have been to add little animations in the background based on the upgrades that you have unlocked.
This is an awesome puzzle game. I really enjoyed it. Very clean controls and clear goals. (rhyme!) The dialog really pushes everything along. Well done!
The sounds cracked me up. It has been mentioned several times, but there is a bit of a respawn bug. In any case cool idea. Some sort of guidance is needed from the start. But I like it.
Very cool. I enjoyed it. The ai seems to get bugged at some point on the 4th level where they seem to want to go two directions at once. Taking over the dudes was a lot of fun though. Well done!

Very cool idea. The tech is the most interesting part. I suppose the lighting is part of the mood? But the levels could have been a little brighter. All in all a very neat game. VERY well done for a 3 day jam. I cant say I had a blast playing it but I'm book marking this page to come and give it another shot because its late.

Cute game. It was pretty fun once you kinda get the hang of the behavior at different levels of stacks. Well done! There seems to be some cases where the "bottom" seed is taken and a seed is stuck at height 2 or 3 and the AI kinda gets lost when that happens. However I was able to collect the see and get the AI back on track. Really well done!

I hesitate to add more until the judging time is over. It is somewhat relaxing to just place things and see them "bump" but there is not much more beyond that except a Tomato pattern. I really enjoyed the game a lot. genuinely fun to play. Only note -- its not very realistic. Dragons dont get burgled... certainly not by anything but a hobbit.

I tried to play the web version seemed to be a non starter however the downloaded version wasnt much better. I'll keep an eye out and see if there is a perf update or someway to make it better. But it kept getting stuck and the gun sound would play non stop.
