A great addicting game! Wish to play it with no turns limit :D Has some bugs with programming, however, I absolutely enjoyed it :) Would also suggest posting several screenshots on the main page!

Interesting take on the theme! Is the nodes randomly generated? Don't really have good feedback, it was a solid entry. Well done!
Dude, nice work! I got a little too excited about buying coins that I ended up not being able to bid on anything very well! I definitely appreciate the legend in the lower right that explains building colors and controls. It's super helpful. Well done!
Thank you all! To answer your question @appoxgames -- yes they are randomly generated, as you reveal tiles!
Turns out I'm not cut out for the cutthroat world of coin trading - ran out of money and got stuck with coins I couldn't sell really fast. Was curious to see how the storage lockers would have worked but never managed to buy one. Cool concept, might be too technical for most though. Good work!
Super cool. Found out I'm a real savage in the coin buying business. Might do it full time. Well done!
@mramaizng I used all real coins and approximate actual coin values so legit if you like this and are good at this game you will probably be good at coin collecting IRL!
This has a lot of depth for such a short jam! I went negative my first run, but I made a modest profit of $50 in my second run.
I wonder if the tile generation could use some massaging to encourage the core loop of flea market -> coin shop at the start. Because in my first run through I hit like 5 auctions in a row first, lost them all horribly, and was a bit confused.
I am really impressed by the variety of coins and their stats. It feels nerdy in the best way possible. Unfortunately I know nothing about coins so I'm not sure I can fully appreciate that bit, but the passion definitely shines through!
Nice job! Has a lot of depth for a jam. Managed to get a tiny bit of profit, didn't realize the turn timer and I wasted a ton of turns just walking around the map.
Is there any logic to spawning and the rarity of coins further out from the center?
Pretty cool concept, I enjoyed collecting the different coins, although I didn't get to win any bids (not enough money) I made some profit.
@jabzey that is a great idea, on additional tweaks of this game I would have a flea market and a coin shop spawn at the start since it is pivotal to the main game loop and it's confusing if you get like, 15 auction houses in a row what's going on -- and @kassanu that is also a great freaking idea, making the rarity of coins tied to how far you explore out to the edges of the map! Holy cow, I love that. That is definitely going in as an upgrade in a V2 version of this :-)
I highly recommend turning this into a full game. Very good. I wanted to keep going.
Top-notch graphics!.
Literally the first game I see, actual collecting coins... Good work.
Weirdly charming but I guess the high scores don't work because nobody else was on there? Definitely would love an endless mode.
@ruruie Yeah, unfortunately for now anyways the high scores are only your own high scores. But it does keep track in between rounds of that in your local storage on the web version so if you want to best your OWN high scores you can. Having a group high score would be better! Thanks for the feedback!
Great game! It took a bit to understand and the icons in the tutorial page are very small, but also having the colours and the little text helps a lot. It seems the coin shops offer the same value for my coins and it might be interesting if their offers have some variation. After I visisited a flea market I visited all the coin shops I discovered, hoping that the guys at the next shop would give me a better offer. The coin lockers, keys and auctions were heavily underused in my playthroughs, as I never had enough money to participate in those.
Really loved the concept! UI was difficult to read, found it hard to figure out how the mechanics worked. Also not sure if it was just me , but took me almost 15 mins to figure out I had to press space to interact with shops. (That could just be me). Overall the idea has great potential. I did find myself replaying multiple times. Game loop is great, just the UI and graphics make it difficult to understand at times. Really well polished for the timeframe and is a great start point for a fun small scoped game! Looking forward to seeing a full version on this! Well done.
Like the idea, the perfect implementation of the collecor theme, but the gameplay is vey random, cant really use or develop any skillset to play and win.
@Floryan thanks for the feedback, right now the skill is learning the actual value of coins in real life such that you can recognize when you see them at a flea market in the game at a price that is a good one, and then you go sell them at stores for a profit! You're right that the prices at flea markets are totally random which means they can be a very good or very bad deal. I was thinking it would be cool to add more "in game" skill rather than that though, welcome any thoughts on what a more skill based game would look like in that iteration, thanks!
I like the idea! felt satisfying when you could make a big profit on a coin, few points of feedback:
- The introduction text felt a bit too much with Mr Coinface - Maybe some way to teach us how to find a coin that is valuable, then we learn something while playing :D - The auctions felt a bit weird, beccause at the start you kinda had no chance to win.
