This differently scrolling background makes game so dynamic, I love it ;D.

chadiik 2014-08-25 16:42

@fcpfoof Thank you, I'm glad you did!

@ everybody else, please don't hesitate to comment:
List the stuff you liked and those that annoyed you
(besides having to refresh to restart the game!:S)

konste 2014-08-26 07:23

Loved the game, chadiik! A very engaging concept that kept me playing to try and get a better score. Great music too. Would suggest you add a replay button a maybe keep track of the player's high score. Give mine a rating if you get a chance!

chadiik 2014-08-26 17:07

Hello @Konste, thank you for the nice comment.
The code is a mess which is why I avoided implementing a restart at submission (You can restart it now :D ).
I did the music in FL Studio btw.

Heading to Galaxy hunters now, to be continued on your game page! :)

jangobrick 2014-08-26 17:34

I'm loving this game! Noteworthy audio, beautiful graphical effects. Those red attacking things were really powerful... destroyed me quickly. Would play again!
Have you thought about making a post-compo version? I guess people would like it!

budaniel 2014-08-26 17:35

I like that I have to click multiple times to get the planets, and the music is good, but wow did that get hard fast with all of those red lines attacking me. Fun, but hard.

chadiik 2014-08-26 17:57

@Budaniel Come on, I know you can manoeuvre your way out of there!
BTW you can click and hold (But you don't have to if you like it the other way around)
Thanks for commenting :)

capsizedmoose 2014-08-26 18:16

nice work! i liked the way it made me feel like i was flying so fast and that every planet had it's own name :) i think i picked up some planets with abillities but i couldn't figure out what they did (it's probably obvious, I'm just missing something haha).I really enjoyed playing it and will look forward to seeing this or some other projects developed even more! :D

mramaizng 2014-08-26 18:18

REALLY REALLY like the background and environment. Well done. I'm not really sure how to grab the planets. But it was somewhat hypnotic pressing 'w' and just going balls to the wall.

silvertoad 2014-08-26 18:19

Dynamic gameplay. Nice entry +))

For dynamic and increase game session: Maybe game must say something like: "You awesome!" when you get a 5 or 6 worlds.

peping 2014-08-26 19:19

It took me a while to realize what was going on, but then, it was worth it! The visuals are fantastic, the game is not too difficult... I'm loving it.

j0n 2014-08-28 21:27

Good game! Though not really sure what I was supposed to be doing, it was an enjoyable experience.

skywilly 2014-08-28 21:58

I love this game & Eracloom is a great name of planet ;)

shatterhand 2014-08-28 22:27

It took me a while to understand the game. It was cool to dodge those red comets and stuff, and love the atmosphere of the game.

bw 2014-08-29 03:11

The music is pretty enjoyable.

mintarcade 2014-08-29 19:35

Very nice game. This is so relaxing and cool. Enjoyed a lot. Very interesting use of theme.

zeppelincaptain 2014-08-29 20:40

Very nice audiowise.

Gameplay had potential, but it was way too easy to avoid the red ones by just flying in one direction, I never died without doing it on purpose.

twoscoopgames 2014-08-29 20:48

I didn't really understand what was going on, but once I figured out that I was supposed to click on planets I really liked the music, and played it again just to hear it.

jojocanard 2014-08-29 21:00

Really great entry. I really like how you generate effects and planet names. This and the sound create a great atmosphere. An inspiration : I will definitely try computer generated effects next time. I am going to have a look on your code mouhahaha.

And the gameplay is nice too (but too easy after a few try : I had to kill myself to see my planets and the screen was covered by names). My favourite : Kulicklab. Don't ask me why.

ripter 2014-08-29 21:12

It took me way to long to understand the controls. I didn't realize I needed to click on the planets.

chadiik 2014-08-30 09:36

@ZeppelinCaptain, Good comment thank you :)
@jojocanard, graphics are made by code, music and sound fx in FL Studio
@ripter Controls are WASD and left click ;)

kefir 2014-08-30 12:38

I didn't realize that I should click on the planter until I have read the comments :) I like this feeling of speed. Amazing music by the way!

stasss 2014-08-31 00:14

It always intersting act as a planet) Solid graphics and audio. I think adding some planetary effects (like orbiting) or maybe increase planet mass and it's apperance and it would be super great! Keep going on!!

chadiik 2014-08-31 08:43

@strasss, actualy each time you reduce a planet's size it automatically becomes an orbit around you.. This is the core of the game!
Thank you for your nice comment :)

sunflower 2014-09-02 19:35

Liked the audiovisuals a lot, a swarm of planets orbiting around me was very cute; too bad it seems there's no end to it (except for game over); I'd like to lead all these planets somewhere safe or something. ^^"

jomomomo 2014-09-02 20:40

Not bad... took me a minute to figure out you have to click the planets to get them to join...

jukimv1986 2014-09-04 17:19

Nice graphics and great song. It is quite dynamic on its movement. I like the core mechanics of the game, how you interpreted the connected worlds theme. Great job!

oinkiguana 2014-09-05 22:04

Movement was slow and slipper and made it hard to avoid the things that were attacking. Other than that the game is very fun and very interesting.

oddly-shaped-pixels 2014-09-08 06:45

The ambience and the sounds are just amazing, it's a pleasure to wonder in this universe gathering planets.
Great entry and super original idea!

whalebot 2014-09-09 22:40

Took me a bit to figure out what the heck I was doing. Then I clicked on a planet and BOOM! flying through the stars... Awesome work!
