Thanks ! You are definitely right about the difficulty, I am afraid nobody will see the ending, maybe not even the middle of the game ! Too late for a change I guess ?

I must be stupid, I am stuck in the second level ! I use the hook but how do I step above the block on the ground ?
Fun and cute but very hard for me !
I probably didn't understand how the site works : I could't get the code in the Greenhouse. I guess it would have opened the door.
Very nice art and music. The idea is pretty good too but the game is incredibly difficult for me. I guess my brain can't handle too characters.
Super mignon et sympa Ă jouer. Bavo
Really great entry. I really like how you generate effects and planet names. This and the sound create a great atmosphere. An inspiration : I will definitely try computer generated effects next time. I am going to have a look on your code mouhahaha.
And the gameplay is nice too (but too easy after a few try : I had to kill myself to see my planets and the screen was covered by names). My favourite : Kulicklab. Don't ask me why.
NIce controls. But I did not really understand how to score points. Or what was different in the other world, or event how I got there. :)
Wow that was a disturbing and interesting experience.
game did not launch for me, it just briefly flashed a command line window before closing. And I have java on my computer
I made it to 2-4, then I just didn't what to do anymore. I'll call it the end of the game I guess.
Thanks
I was stuck two times because of bugs (fell in places where I couldn't do anything). But I really enjoyed it. Awesome weird mood.
Interesting and original but confusing for me.
Nice concept, even if it is mainly luck at first, it is still fun. But I didn't manage to move without a teleporter. It is possible with a r-click isn't it ? If not, why a limitation on the teleportation and this reclaim system ?
I can't launch the game on windows. No error message.
Fun concept but very hard<
Very interesting idea. But the action is quite confusing.
Exe file doesn't launch.
Very nice concept. Even if it lacks a bit of feedback and clarity it is very interesting to play.
Very very hard or maybe I am very bad at it. I don't really see what it has to do with the theme. But still fun to play and listen. Nice for a first try.
Really great mood congratulations.
But sorry I didn't go very far. The mines were too hard to see. I died sometimes for no clear reason (Barbed wire?) and dead again in front of soldiers and I had no idea what to do. After that many restarts it was too frustrating.
Great mechanic. The controls (mainly the way the ship moves) and the identification of the supply icons are not easy to master. But the idea of building your fleet for the boss fight is really fun.
Nice application of the theme.
I managed to finish the game but the beginning is not easy and at the end event with mass money it is a bit hard to find the objective.
The game bugged after I had to click at least 30 times on "end turn", waiting for a guard to finally let me in.
Nice graphics and great controls. I particularly like how the jump "feels" thanks to the sounds and graphics.
Bravo David
Funny, interesting and well executed ! Nice music too.
Missing MSVCR110.dll.
I tried to install the last Redistribuable Visual C++ but it didn't work.
Thanks all for the comments.
I am very happy that some people found the ending. I didn't want it to be obvious even if the game is not varied enough to be interesting for more than a few minutes. Tuning a time management game is way harder than I thought !
Haha pvtroswold, it is true that it looks like a phone but this is a drawing of my own PC as a dominating IA. Mouhahaha
I managed to reach around 60%. I wanted to see the ending but it seems that it would take a long time to reach it and I wonder if there is one.
Fun to play. Congratulations
I completed a few contracts but then none of them could be achieved with my R-1 and research didn't unlock any other rocket. => stuck
Sorry I tried many times but didn't get with what I was supposed to time the 'o' key. With a sound ? With where the o is on the screen ? Anyway I failed.
Nice mood though.
Very hard very hard and not very user friendly.
The lack of feedback made this very hard to understand for me :
- the toughness of the ennemies (how hurt they are)
- when I can use a nuke or not (and the sadness to see that it doesn't really destroy the ennemies)
- how the shield works (I finally understood that I was supposed to use the mouse but this is very very hard to use !)
- the hitpoints of the mine are not obvious either, given that you have to fight quickly the ennemies and can't look around
Sorry to criticize like this. The game is still fun and good looking.!
Awesome sound/music and great gameplay. I wonder how the other managed to get these scores ! I only managed to get 4290 points qfter severql tries but still had lot of fun.
Awesome mood but weird game mechanic. I made it to the end but I am not sure at all that I really understood.
768pts ! Nice concept. Probably very dangerous with a real phone !
The main problem for me is that sometimes you have to lose if you have blocks to land on the 2 opposite sides and that they are in the wrong order.
Missing libstdc++-6.dll in order to run
Nicely done. Too bad that there are not many real tactical choices.

Funny to make the robot snowmen hit each other.
score 114
Nice mood and fun but even if I made it to the end I didn't really enjoy how I had to do it : I had to shoot constantly to shoot the ennemies before they even appear. Because the collision boxes are so big that dodging is very hard if you let them the time to shoot.
I also barely saw the ending because I was clicking so much that I passed it unintentionnaly.
Fun game but hard!
I like the way they are also fighting each other and how you can use this to last longer. Too bad there is no score, I was wondering how many cavemen I eliminated :). A final headcount with all the kind an enemies eliminated would be fun.
Error message at launch : a java exception has occured
Great mood and swarm effect. Glad to see that maratis is still alive. Enjmin forever etc
Interesting mechanic but really need more feedback. I found it very hard to understand what was happening, even when was simply "leaning"
Got Error (404) from clicking the link.
Funny idea and great sprites. ++for playing Schopenhauer even if I would have chosen different quotes ;)
I can't believe Nietzsche has as much sanity as me. This is not what I read about him ! He was the toughest but I defeated them all !
Very fun
Great job. Everything is fun and pretty well done : music, sound, graphics, gameplay.
The gameplay is not very clear and made it hard to attack without taking some damage. Finally I won by avoiding the ennemies and running to the doors.
Really great and satisfying mechanic. Everything else is pretty well done too !
Yeah I won. The first time I opened a chest I got the green gas. What a nice surprise
5 tries and not even one spectator killed damn ! Very funny
Thanks all for the feedback !
@nassi : my code was becoming such a mess and I was so tired that I was afraid to add a restart button that may add a bug ! You are definitely right about this and the enter key.
@arrenyu : definitely an evil Totoro. I was wondering what should be the ultimate faerie of the tree of life and it came to my mind. I hope I didn't break a rule by doing this.
@ all : yes the game is pretty simple once you understand the way to isolate and scare the ennemies. It is more about mood and discovery. A kind of family friendly game for Ipad I guess...
Very hard. I failed many times and I am not even sure that I was trying the right way.
But cute monster and really nice animation !
Very cute and funny.
But the controls are quite bad : it is not easy to jump at first and often the policeman is stuck halfway.
Really hard because of the way all the carrots are used in one shot and not easy to target. If you take too much carrots to kill an ennemy you have nothing to fight the others.
It got easier when I realised the hole at the bottom doesn't kill and help go back to the top. But still hard.
Cute game and funny mechanic though, congratulations.
I have no idea what I just did, but it was fun

Great mood
Black screen after around 2s. I use windows 7
Very funny, well written. Congratulations
Looks fun but quickly bugs on maxthon and chrome : when I fire a barrel and it explodes all the level turn black and I can only see the fire and my character.
Really nice mechanic and sound.
Score 10485 !
Great mechanic, nice interpretation of the theme both literally and as a mechanic. And funny ending ! Make the line of sight visible and it will be awesome.
Great concept, great mood !
I don't understand how to move the barriers. I got stuck in the 1st level because I had pushed it to the left instead of the right and the same thing happened to me in the 2nd level
But great work. Awesome mood and interesting mechanic.
Very cute and fun
Haha awesome. I laughed a lot even if it is depressing in the same time. Way too hard for me : death and the illness seems to be indestructible and get me.
Very cute and well animated congratulations.
Spamming toasts is too easy (and hurt my fingers)
I lost during the 4th level. I found it hard to target the ennemies. Hard also to understand the way the totems work (I had to read your guide about the special attack against them, surprising idea). And I only understood the way the blue works (and maybe the red but not sure).
Haha I took the "tree" weapon and couldn't defend myself !
Funny and well playable but very repetitive (gameplay and music).
It is very hard tu understand what is going on within the crafting system. I tried many combinations and finally created something but I had no idea what and how.
Je ne vois pas trop ce que je fais ni surtout l'intégralité du texte de l4intro que ce soit en plein écran ou fenêtré (sous windows). Il faudrait faire un zoom arrière.
Great contol system. I got stuck at the checkpoint after I fell down.
Can't make it work. I tried maxthon, firefox and chrome
The zombies are even cuter than the puppies
I got killed when I was reaching the door of the 4th level arg ! The music kept playing after I closed the game I had to kill the process.
The main character is funny but I would have put the baguette somewhere else. Here it looks like his belt.
Rams too much on my computer because of the gfx. I can't play it.
Simple but nice sounds, what did you opt out ?
Great game. The mechanic is smart and fits the theme very very well (I like the way the unconventional weapon is the claw.. but also your ennemies). The gameplay is hard to master and well done.
The maniability was not perfect but it was probably because I played it on my computer.
Interesting gameplay and nice feedback on the player's actions.
I like the honesty of the intro ;)
Too bad, it looked promising.
See you next time !
I can't get past the purple front screen (I tried to click, press space, escape...).
Awesome idea and design !
I scored only 406 but had great fun.
funny AND smart !
The way the controls are a bit awkward perfectly fit the theme in my opinion.
Cute, funny, interesting to play !
I had to start over the game to see the ending because I didn't kill the minions immediately : I came to see Dr Destructo before and it ended the game.
Très original comme interprétation du thème et rigolo. Et merci pour la version française : je ne serais pas allé jusqu'au bout en anglais.
Nice concept and very cute art.
Small bugs : (?)
- Sometimes the monster just stops moving and I have to release and press the arrows again in order to move again.
- is it normal that you can safely shoot the people from a greater distance than their range ?
That game would probably be great with a gamepad and an interface as beautiful as your monster.
Wow that was... interesting !
I had to pick a 16/9 resolution in order to play. Otherwise the text was cut on the sides.
I wished I knew why I lost (3 times!) before finally winning.
Nice try and funny execution, congratulations
Very elegant
I can't click on anything at the choose level screen.
Sometimes by clicking everywhere I can see a yellow stuff who disapears quickly.
The text hurts my eyes !
But nice game, interesting and funny concept.
Score 199 ! Great mood and funny game.
Surprising, funny(humor 5/5), and simple but great intro.
Great job !
Excellent all around, very cute monsters
Saddest ending ever :(
Very fun and tactical congratulations. I died many times but finally reached the end.
One of my iteration got very long (abot 3000 years) and not much was happening anymore so I chose to abandon it and during my next tries I found some fun endings quickly.
The idea and all the art is nice. The important thing would be to prevent looping the same events again and again during the same game.
Keep up the good work
Great mood and art style. The best I have seen so far on a compo game. I like the cycle system and the way we can try to plan the time passing. And nice try on the theme with a surprising idea.
Took me a long time to understand how to act and the limitations of reaffectations (not the day corresponding to this action, not the same workplace ?). I reached the 4th mission but failed, even though I really think they crossed each other during the same day. Do they need to be all three in the same place at the same time ?
Very well done. Great mood all around with various ennemies. Classic but effective gameplay.
++ nice to have a leaderboard.
Did you really create all those ennemies on your own ? If yes this is really impressive.
Well polished game with nice graphics.
It reminds me a lot one of my old ludum dare entry : http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-29/?action=preview&uid=24933
I reached distance 605.
It seems to me that the best tactic is to drill all the time toward the bottom then towards sugar because drilling doesn't consume any sugar (right?). Therefore there is no real reason to be tactical and target a particular color ?
@Ithildin Actually back then I was trying to do a reverse doodle jump and I didn't know Mr driller. Just a coincidence. Good luck for the tuning of your new ideas !
Awesome and funny gameplay. Simple in appearence and very effective. Most fun I had in this ludum. Would be a very good mobile game for sure.
Wow I tried, I moved around, pressed space a lot, was intrigued, but I didn't manage to find what to do. I only got matches and something else from bananaman and didn't find what to do with it. Sorry.
By the way sometimes when the character is moving with his head touching something his animation stops and the game seems to ram. Maybe it would be better to have its collision box only on his feet.
Smart, original, nice mood. It gets repetitive quite clickly but for a ludum dare game this is not a big deal. It just needs one or two extra mechanics to add variety and tactics (a psychology characteristic for the guests instead of random (or is it pure random conversations ?))
The 3D is great for a compo game and even if the car controls are quite floaty like someone else said they work well and the camera is fine too even when the car turn around so really great job.
My main complaint is the fact that whenever you touch the border even at a very low speed the car does a 180° and basically destroy your chance to make a good score (so I won't share my terrible score). But I guess this is the difficuty of this game.
It took me a while to realize that the number in the middle is the speed.
Really great solar system, beautiful planets with well chosen colors. Funny take on the tower def style with nice visual and sound. I like the idea of moving the planet around and the sun as an objective for the ennemies. Great job all around. But is it really possible to beat the 3rd wave :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
Great graphics, especially animation, very good sound, nice rain ! I didn't manage to grasp the gameplay though. The roll looks great but I don't get what to do with it (the ennemy just turn around quickly anyway). I only attack the ennemy until they kill me.
edit after a last try : ! Actually there is a winning strategy : you hit the shadows 2 ou 3 times, back of, hit again, until you are stuck in a border, then you roll to the other side. I managed to score 48 like that. Great fun.
I can't start it. On the front page I bring my mouse on "Start Game" and its color changes but I can't click it. Enter or space key don't do anything either.
Nice and fun game but very hard for me. It took me a while to understand how to target a direction at the beginning. And it is not easy to know what the objects do.
Great work with a really nice art style and mood. The gameplay is quite frustrating. It is so easy to loose without realising why that you have to be dedicated or lucky to reach the end. Especially given that the restart day button don't work on my machine (windows version). But I will try again !
Nice mood, good idea and good execution. The view and its small worlds is lovely. I really like the color scheme. Goes very well with the melancholic music.
Hard to find the ball and therefore to understand why those gasp and cling sounds are happening. Hard also the autorespawn which leads to serial deaths in the bridge part even before the realization that I respawned.
I didn't manage to beat the bridge part even after many tries. Too hard for me. Did I miss a nice ending ?
I made it to the end !
Very good game. Sound, graphics and gameplay are all fine. I like the idea.
A death animation would have been a great addition. Maybe the "jump" effect when we turn a bit strongly the word is a bit too strong, but maybe I say this because this is the main cause of my deaths. Like someone says, the ball/world would simply be/feel heavier. The hitboxes are maybe a bit too big as well. I like it when it is possible to pass really close to the danger... and even a very little bit inside it.
Really nice little sandbox game. Nice work on the 3d all on your own ! and of course perfect use of the theme. I really appreciate how easy to use it is. The separation of sculpt and play is very elegant.
I won't go into details about the features that I wish were there because they are not original and you probably didn't do them because of the lack of time. The only really annoying thing is the way the globe sometimes rotates suddenly 180° when I am pressing an arrow for some time. And the sad thing is that once you built the world there is not much thing to do. You can't even drown the little people, they just turn into boats ! ;)
If it is a simply contemplative game a good thing would be to materialize the exploration more clearly. Here it just look like they turn into boats and run randomly, looking for trees. Still nice to look, especially with the nice relaxing music.
Funny game. The hero is hilarious (at first...). Everything is beautiful too.
Very often it didn't answer to my keyboard. I don't know why but it was very annoying and almost made me give up... but I wanted to see the end !
The evolution of the mood throughout the game is amazing in many ways. I especially like how it appears slowly in the first days. So we don't realize it immediately but just think "hey I think he didn't have the same naive happy expression last time I saw his face". Awesome.
Very cute, easy to understand and interesting idea. But extremely hard very quickly (for me anyway) and I didn't undestand how to score. I only scored 60 but it stayed on the screen for a long while. Also, there were so many peeps that the game was ramming at the end.
The style and idea are fun but I found it very hard to play.
It looks like clicking on a planet makes them smaller but it is not obvious because there is not much feedback. We must click a lot and fill the planet gauge to succeed ? We have two hands. Is it possible to use both in the same time ? Because if it is not, and if I understood everything, the game is very hard. I didn't manage to last more than a few seconds.
Anyway with a bit more of explanations or feedback and some tuning it will be very fun, congratulations.
Ho and I just realised thanks to your screenshot that there is a score ! Would be great to have it on a game over screen. The game is so demanding that I didn't look at that part of the screen. Did 265 points (I think) on my last try.
If clicking kills the monsters, of what use are the keyboard move controls ? And what is the use of the warrior itself on the screen ? I guess once we get the superpower it is useful to move around ? But I didn't manage to get there, it is too hard to defend the tree against monster attacking in all directions in the same time ! Maybe a bigger arena would make it easier to manage the monsters. Anyway I think clicking would remain easier than moving.
Bug : When I lost a game and click around I still get points that increase the high score.
Sorry for the harsh feedback, just trying to help ! Congratulations for creating a whole playable game
@Firewill thanks a lot for your complete and honest feedback. Serviceable is a great word to define sound and graphics in this game indeeed.
The game is pretty easy and random because that is how I make games for the ludum dare. A bit of level design and more interactivity would be required for a real game.
@bob-the-seagull-king The optimisation of the code is horrible indeed, and I know why but I didn't dare to correct it during the competition. Maybe someday.
Great ideas @slimabob @fenwick I take note.
thank you for your remark @Ithildin . I didn't think about it at all but you are probably right.
Great audio, fun mood and "narration" (?). Fine graphics and nice gameplay. The saving spider idea is smart.
I am looking for something bad to say but not finding it
I reached 276 points. No I am not ashamed at all, I proudly defended the spider people.
Fun game with a good suspense.
The cart is a bit hard to control. Ok it looks like a real cart but much worse sometimes. I got stuck I still don't how, in the last mission near the apples.
The graphism are cute ad the physic is funny and adds a little challenge, especially when a lot of things have to be put into the cart.
I had some trouble between the 2 camera modes. I wonder if this is necessary to have two modes. Maybe merging the two would work (where we could look around but only forward?)
Very fun and smart gameplay but very hard ! I like how tense and tactic it is. Especially when I try to save molemen that are just about to fall into a hole (and fall myself with them). Very hard to save the molemen already heading to a hole at the beginning of a game. The wall of fire is not dangerous at all compared to this.
Super funny thank you. There is not much gameplay but hey who cares ? I was still happy to survive this giant struggle !
Retry button crashed (or quit?) the game in windows. It is really great that for your first submission you had the time to have very nice graphisms, fun gameplay, and even pretty good sounds. The way Zeus jumps and attacks is really satisfying. Congratulations keep up the good work.
Very laggy and unplayable on my computer (firefox). Or maybe I just didn't understand what to do at all. Too bad, the music and cat are cute.
Great game where the best pleasure is the discovery and surprise. I reached the end because I really wanted to know what happens the next day even though some puzzles took me some time. You should insit on the fact that the magnifying glass is useful for the gameplay. I had to read your comment to understand this, otherwise I was stuck.
At the end, is this an alien who took over the box or what ?
Very hard to control. Probably because I don't use a qwerty keyboard but also because I am never really sure that I can dock or not, and that I have succeeded or not. So a bit more feedback would have been great. And an easier beginning.
The idea is interesting, and the mood works really well (interface style, colors, music, sounds...). Mixing management and precision with the keyboard and with a quick loose condition is tough on the player. On a player like me anyway ! I guess the game become much easier once you get the keyboard timings.
Nice game with a good system and mood. I reached level 2 but did not really understand how. Because I had a lot of coin and was jumping at the top ?
Really great mechanic. It took me a while to understand what was happening (because not using a qwerty keyboard) but once I did it became surprisingly addictive. Of course there are some things missing but what is done is really well done like @AlexHoratio and @Turncoda said.
There is only one ting that really disturbed me : when you finish a level there is simply a teleport without transition and this is terrible : I killed myself during my best try because I was trying to jumb on a drill in the previous level and fell to my death in the next one.
Then I reached level 7 and was pretty satisfied. :relaxed:
But I think the game is much easier if we don't move much.
Very nice concept, especially for a first try ! The game is quite hard which is not surprising for a first try but the mechanic is simple and quite intuitive so this is not really frustating.
By the way I succeeded at the second level at my first try. I was amazingly proud. Ok maybe I was lucky  But then I made it to the end so I guess I am awesome. This is a very good sign because I usually am not very tenacious.
For the control I think it would have been better to force the player to maintain its click and to realease the beam when the player realease its mouse button. More intuitive for me. But maybe this is just my taste.
Beautiful and funny but I didn't manage to survive more than a few seconds. So many ennemies so quickly. Most of my humans don't even touch the ground and are already dead and many times it is impossible (=too difficult for me) to dodge a rat because there are birds all around (at least 5 ennemies in the same time). I find it too punishing to be fun.
Pretty fun, even alone I took the time to push the other ship more than 30 times for the joy to hear them shout :) ... and fell to my death at least 5 times as well. Not easy to see where the front of your ship is when you just spawned. One might say it is funny to see a ship going directly to the abyss because of that mistake I don't know :) Ho and nice use of the theme. The water pushing the ships toward the border and the water falling are the best part. With controls simulating winds and sailing a little bit more it would be even more fun.
Sorry but after about 10 game over I gave up. Too bad because the gameplay was being challenging in the good way but I just didn't know what to do anymore. After trying to cannonball on the whole (beautiful) ship I came to the conclusion that I can only destroy the baloons and remove a kind of forcefield on what is (probably) the power core but not destroy it. Maybe things need to be destroyed in a particular order ? In this case a bit more feedback would really help.
Anyway even if the sound is missing the mood and artstyle are really cool and the gameplay has a good potential once the rules are understood (and I don't think I really understood them  ) Nice job !
Awesome interface system and use of the theme. I particularly like the elegant way you generate the next small world. Congratulations. The gameplay in itself is too easy and repetitive once you realize that you can attack the monsters on the side then turn around them and do it again for ever. I stopped at world 12, I had been at full hp the whole time with no challenge at all.
I played around for a while but didn't understand much. I have no idea what you mean by "ennemy" in this game, "aggro" and many other terms. After a while almost all the amoebros disappeared out of the screen. I have no idea how. And it seems like they were fighting out of the screen.
Even while playing randomly it was fun to watch though so the system is well done and entertaining. After a while I had the surprise to discover amoebros with very différent shapes and color. That was surprisiong and fun. I guess those were mine but I don't really know.
Even if I didn't know what I was doing the amoebros escaped anyway so I guess I won  :innocent:
Great mood all around (sound, pixel art, fx, music, gameplay, everthing fits well together), nice work on the details. I was annoyed by the beast getting stuck sometimes but in a sense it fits the gameplay ad the atmosphere.
Bravo !
Nice idea well executed, very surprising. Fun to play but very hard on the nerves ! Sadlu I didn't manage to go very far.
Nice game, beautiful pictures and nice music. But if you didn't make them you should opt out of the votes of those categories. There is not much gameplay. The kingdoms have to be attacked in the same order and everything is pure luck. There is still tension so it is fine. I didn't find any bugs so good job.
Wow that was surprising ! Funny and nice interpretation of the theme, I like the title. Is it autobiographical  ?
I won on my second try. If I move to the left or right, the character just disappear. It looks like we can only move to the up direction ?
Amazing art on all levels. Its obvious concerning the graphism and the mood. But I really appreciate the work done about the grass generation and the transition between the planets. The ship is very elegant as well.
It is hard to call this a game, but the way you push to fly towards the red hoops to add some objective and create some interactivity is smart and subtle.
Great combination of various gameplay.

Not mush gameplay but good atmosphere and narration. Congratulations.
I like the system of inventory management. But each time I quickly lost. And any time I clicked "push forward" I automatically ran out of ressources!
Funniest ludum dare game I ever played and lots of good sound and art. Congratulations !
Thank you very much for your feedback! I am particularly happy that you enjoyed exploring the effects of the mushrooms.
You got me @artificer: I used to make games from flash. And now that flash is dead, I didn’t learn a new web engine so I used reactJS and somehow tried to work like before. But the technical limitations were very frustrating when it came to creating mushroom effects.
@tiwe-me-ruu you are right. Initially I wanted to have 10 mushrooms and some of them appearing only near the end of the forest. Time got me... The correct use of the lynx shape is probably the only important tactical choice.
@Baluj this is indeed a copy of a boar from Astérix, the funniest looking boar there is : R.jpeg I didn't change it much, so I don't know if I am breaking the rules here.
The music is from Sibelius, one of my favourite composer. This is why I opted out of the sound rating. I added it in the description.
Very fun to play. I like the way I have a little time between each wave to desperately bring some coins back in the middle! Capture d’écran du 2025-10-09 16-56-31.png
This is very impressive. Original and funny gameplay. Sense of urgency and suspense because of the fact that one must inevitably guess a little bit. Just enough graphics to make it cute, enjoyable and clear. And maths ! This should be used in school ! Taxulator.png
I couldn't play it. I tried to enter the code TI2H5TTT from @torte478 but couldn't enter the key '5' for whatever reason.
Too bad, the concept is very interesting.
I have to admit I never completely got what was happening. Still relaxing and pleasant to play all the same thanks to the really great mood, especially audio and animations.
Is it me or do I have to refresh the whole page in order to retry ?
I can't jump anymore even if I tried to Offload everything snif ! Nice mood and controls.
Sorry but this is way too hard for me, I didn't even manage to reach a curse !
Black screen with music for me too. Firefox on windows.
Great athmosphere. It reminded me The Void : https://www.gog.com/en/game/void_the Maybe because of the sound of the cristals ?
I was really wondering what would happen next but I quickly got stuck there : clue_collector.png Clicking on the boxes didn't help.
60 candies and 4 little brothers here ! But it is not enough to get through the door. Nice dark mood. The mouse view spins and hurts my head though.
Great idea and mood. Perfect for the theme.
A bit hard to control. I got confused especially when they were more than 1 ennemy master. Maybe it would be easier to control and more "tactical" with collisions and slower move, I don't know.
But he spits everything out! (well except the mustache!)
Very impressive for a compo game.
Voice acting is funny and well done. Runner gameplay is fine.
The mix with the dating is ok but not very interesting gameplaywise. It is funny to listen to the dialogue lines but there is not much choice to be made (or I didn't understand the lines effect ?).
After my second date (or 3rd) the boulder was going so fast that I couldn't start a new date anymore (or I would have to run for a lot of time I guess). A bit frustrating.
Great setting and even greater writing. The control was a bit annoying mostly because the mouse didn't work with my dual monitors (pointer getting out of the window...) but not a big deal. I really wanted to hear the stories of each monster and to find the right murderer (which I did).
I am using windows and met about all the same issues than @gonutz met
I fell of the game border and got stuck. Had to alt F4 to start again. Very hard to play with a non qwerty keyboard but still manageable and fun. A bit annoying the fact that I had to reselect all the cards each time I started a new game (which I did because I am very bad and liked the game).
@justin I am using an azerty keyboard (french) Therefore the a and w are in a very different position and yes it is really hard to play :p I should have changed my keyboard mode to simulate qwerty but I was in the mood for a challenge I guess ! ^^
Awesome, my favourite game so far when it comes to dialogue and humour. The art/fx are geat as well especially in the last part. And the game itself, even if it is simple, works very well.
Nice fx and mood and the gameplay is pretty fun as well.
Thank you for the feedback @xmatos, that was indeed the point of the shark destroying the obstacles and ennemies. But what do you mean when you say that the audio should not be in the competition ? @darkmatther took some sounds on the internet but he did a lot of composing and I really like his undersea musics.
Thanks for the feedback @BytingGames @szabe . The controls are indeed floaty. I added too many effects on them during the last day and kind of messed too much with them.
Congratulations @conk @abhimonk for reaching the end ! And thanks for the detailed feedback.
I looked for a long time for a little story that would satisfy me. In the end I just had the time to add the opening dialogue and the mermaid, thinking "now that he can dominate his hypersensitivity he can now fall in love without turning into a terrible shark" Happy ending etc ;) It's the easy path but well inspiration is not always here ;)
You are right there are 3 main tracks underwater. Plus the "island / above water" music contrasting with them. It was my first ludum with a musician (@darkmatther ) and he really took the time to work on the mood. Plus when he wants to relax he plays guitar => awesome
Great concept, nice use of the theme and the balancing is quite impressive for 15 hours of work ! Only real problem : sometimes you have absolutely no chance to win with the cards that you have. At one time I only had 3 shields and a jump !
Very good game with fun and intuitive little games and a good difficulty progression.
I wouldn't say that it takes much from top down Adventure/RPG but the fact that you move from minigame to minigame adds to the mood and to the suspense of each "fight". So the mix brings something in the end.
Too hard for me but mainly because I have two monitors and I keep having my mouse leaving the game and making me die very quickly. Funny and very nice take on the theme.
I haven't exactly understood the behavior of the bat (why does it remain stuck on the ground sometimes or go up, what do those green ray do exactly etc...) and it made it impossible for me to finish the game (out of god mode) but awesome mood and aesthetic congratulations.
