This is actually a very fun game! Ludum Dare submissions are expected to be a little rough;)
The art style is great, though I'd clean up the aliasing on the font a little bit. The explosions are satisfying as hell and the game itself is more addicting than it should be.
Also, I'm not sure if you're aware but if the drills land on you, you gain about 3 kills in one go. Just thought you'd like to know!:p
Either way, this is a very good submission. If you won't say it's a good game, I certainly will!

This is the most fun I've had this jam. The controls are tight, levels are fair, and I got better every time I died. I've played a few games this jam where I just had no idea whether I was "doing it right," and in this game I had no confusions - I can't stress enough how nice that is! I love that you have to jump on drills to destroy them, you can't just walk into them. I agree with @alexhoratio that destroying the drills are satisfying as hell.
Wow! Can't believe it's getting positive views, thanks!
@alexhoratio good to know I did right on the colour pallet (it's all about the contrast really!) and yea the font is pretty smudgy I'll work on getting that done. Nice to know that my love of Vlambeer has paid off with the explosions, the idea was taken straight from their design philosophies! Yea, I found out about the kills bug a few minutes before the submission hour ended so I had to leave it in their, but I'll just say I'm rewarding the player with extra points for hitting the enemies before they even land (haha).
@turncoda really? That's amazing! Nice to know the time I spent tweaking the controls paid off and made them tight and it's nice to know that the couple sentances I put down on level making worked out in the end!. It's also nice to know that the time put into forcing the player to jump on them paid off as well as the explosions!
Thanks a ton! That's really motivating you guys!
Really great mechanic. It took me a while to understand what was happening (because not using a qwerty keyboard) but once I did it became surprisingly addictive. Of course there are some things missing but what is done is really well done like @AlexHoratio and @Turncoda said.
There is only one ting that really disturbed me : when you finish a level there is simply a teleport without transition and this is terrible : I killed myself during my best try because I was trying to jumb on a drill in the previous level and fell to my death in the next one.
Then I reached level 7 and was pretty satisfied. :relaxed:
But I think the game is much easier if we don't move much.
@jojocanard
Thanks! Yea the level transition does seem to be a problem, I've noticed it happening with people who play it irl as well. When I get the final score and such for it I'll most likely work on an updated version, just to fix these problems.

Nice! I love the idea of destruction of the platforms you need to survive. I got only to the level 5, it gets really challenging.
One thing that could be improved is the selection of positions where the drills fall from - it happened a few times to me that the drill fell directly on me (giving me instant points) or on another drill... Also having to play the first levels every time I die was not so fun after some time (personal feeling). I would also appreciate knowing the controls before the game starts and being able to control the game with arrow keys.
Congratulations on making making such simple yet complex game!

Fun little arcade game! I included it in my Ludum Dare 38 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3lV-lDD06U
