Haha heavy metal - the game! i love the thought put into the intro and loading screen alot! but i found the game to be a little buggy
didnt think it was going to be that fun lol
port to windows after you catch up on sleep lol
There were some really good sprites such as the robots and explosions and i like the idea of the character moving back when shooting but i feel it was a little plain, great job though!

man i cant believe you can make a giraffe and lions out of 5x5 area... talent:P
Reminds me of a "down to basics" version of a game i had played on ps3 for hours, i would love to see you continue this. I know im keeping this version to play endlessly lol

Thanks for the comments guys both positive and negative. Next ludum dare i will apply everything i have learned from these comments. Btw Tanser it was a little bit of laziness and trial and error, i had put all my text at the bottom of the 32 x 32 sprite then realized after that it should be centered to avoid p's and q's and such.

Great game, i found that having more then one guy in a slot is usless though, clicking bring up stuff 1000x faster
is anyone else etting a problem when trying to jump while holding down 2 other keys??? lol
The music is very catchy, and the graphics are good for 16 bit.
I had alot of fun playing this ... I was a little upset you made the seeds not able to fall under the player lol.
Running through the bamboo really feels intense though!
I could only play it alone but it could be quite fun with a challenger! the graphics are really well done as well!

It is your fuel guys, i should have made it a little more clear on the game screen. The golden feathers will refill it. The game has alot of problems but i am still a beginner with unity, i have been switching from language to language and i think i finally found a good engine!
The lighting was decent,but the lack of enemies, sound and that final boss brought down the rating for me. Although i did like the idea, like bugs and a bug zapper :P

First boss was easy stuff... after learning to jump with him not away :P Fun though! the blinks should be faster and not as long though... there were a couple time i had no clue where my guy was lol

For everyone that cant get it playing, instead of clicking the exe on dropbox, click download at the top right and select "as .zip" then extract and play that ... Next time you upload compress it first then upload, assume people are not smart :) lol

I would use a bool for movement and turn it to false when he is in the "eating" animation though :) No bugs!
Nice rougelike, would have enjoyed holding a key to move.

Loves the concept but im on the newest chrome browser and i was getting bad bugs.
If all crates were open in the first level he would hop in the right middle crate and i was unable to open it.
Second level he hoped in a locker and when opening it he would flash on the screen leaving a red "!"
fun though :)
