Awesome. Love the gameplay and graphics. Simple bg music and effective sounds really added to the game. I couldn't find a way to get the purple triangle in your screenshot though :\

Amazing style. The music and graphics really work well together.
Incredible. I always love these short collect-all-the-treasure games. The pixel art is amazing, as is the music and transposition depending on location. The controls are tight and lots of little details (puff of dust while walking, bubbles underwater, etc) really added up to great effect.
Haha. What the hell did I just play? Funny stuff.
Solid sidescrolling shooter. It can be relentless, since the flinch time is so small. Got stuck after the hammer part :\
It's a bit hard to control. I keep moving past where I want to turn. The time limit + store idea is pretty good though.
Cool idea. It's a bit annoying though that sometimes the electricity just shoots out without any warning, unless I'm missing the signs here :\
Really fun. A bit unbalanced. Speed/sight/range are preettty overpowered.
Very awesome. Graphics are great. You even have normal mapping in there. Chaotic in a fun way, but the controls are really difficult to get used to. Great music transition effects.
Funny. You should allow window size changes though. The window is too big for my screen.
Nice little competitive 2p. I can easily see this being larger, with more game types, and attacks. Great music too.
Awesome visuals. Creates a cool ambience along with the music.
Pretty neat game. You might want to check your removing of actions. It doesn't restock the correct action.
Pretty cool. When you get the big boat, it's like pac-man.
I like it a lot. It's actually pretty balanced. Chill tracks.
Great game. I'm a little biased to dungeon economy games like this, so I already liked it during the tutorial. I don't know how I feel about the leveling mechanic though. It's different, I'll give it that.
I like it a lot. The "locking" mechanic can add quite a lot of complexity to the puzzles.
Cool game. Would be a good port to phone devices. Not sure how it fits into the theme though :\
Nice little RTS. Only thing though is there are very limited resources.
Pretty cool stuff. I got stuck though after getting the hood and walking into the building with all those cult members.
Difficult game. I keep trying to get as close as possible and end up losing. I like that frustrating kind of fun. Cool music too.
Loved it. Awesome game with an emotional story. There's a bit of a glitch though where you keep enemies on the edge of the screen, and they can't fire at you.
Awesome graphics. You need to make the shop come in faster though.
Pretty cool. You might want to limit the angle to somewhat downward because you can actually just go horizontally. Also maybe an invert option? lol I kept going the opposite direction.
Really liked this one. The atmosphere is well done. Reminds me of the feel of the Trilby series.
Liked this one a lot. The pinging mechanic is a really cool way to map out the gold.
Kinda hard to steer. I like the music and art though. I didn't see the title screen in your screenshot :\
Awesome. The game itself is little bit bland, but the control scheme made it funny to play.
That was actually really hard. I like the idea.
This is just a suggestion, since it will change the gameplay, but since accuracy and timing are pretty key here, maybe you can try to have the fish jump as long as the jump button is held so you don't jump to maximum height all the time.
Tried it on both firefox and chrome. It seems like the right and bottom parts of the game are clipped off. The window size seems smaller than the game size.
Yeah, I had to try to figure out the controls. Challenging as a platformer, but dying pretty much means you have to restart completely. There's a weird glitch where rat traps don't disappear though.
Might just be my old laptop, but the game lags for split second every time a bullet is fired from me or enemies.
Great graphics and sfx, but gameplay is a bit impossible. One hit mines and enemy subs closing in fast make life expectancy incredibly short.
Funny game. Probably just my bad laptop, but the game gets very laggy if there are a lot of dirt blocks.
Interesting idea. Music fit into the game nicely. Couldn't get passed that one level though.
@TobiasW
So far a lot of people have been pointing out the slipperiness of the player. I feel like infinite acceleration would have made the game different in an awkward way. For that reason, I kept the sliding effect in. It's just part of the game mechanic. As is the first point you mentioned.
The third point is something I didn't think about. I probably should have included the down button, but I simply never saw it from that perspective.
Cool concept. Although in higher levels, it kinda gets crowded and I can't see which jellyfish are connected.
Hah, I beat it. Fun and challenging.
Interesting idea. Controls are really awkward. Movement generally should not be dependent on the OS keyboard button hold, which is what keyPressed() relies on. Better is to use flags.
Is the game supposed to be spinning when you first go to the bottom level? It's very disorienting and clips off a lot of the screen.
Other than that, this is a pretty fun little action game.
Very cool. It's a little tough though. Could be a little more lenient with the color matching.
Love it. Did a good job with the Fez style perspective. Some checkpoints would be nice though.
Fun game. Art and music are awesome. The shooting controls are a little uncomfortable though. I thought there was really no need for the mouse.
Funny game. Although I don't know why anyone would choose a planet other than Jupiter for biggest shield.
Fun game, makes you think. I didn't realize there was a number of moves left. I thought I could just easy mode by going "Snake" style.
Actually a lot of fun. Great game.
I like the idea a lot. You need to make more levels for this.
Cool concept. It's a little bit hard to know where the "crossover" tiles are. The colors seem too similar. Hard but fun.
I like the gameplay a lot. Simple one button game, but fun. Maybe you could make the green bouncy thing's collision box a little smaller.
Fun game. I like the candy music. I don't know if you meant to do this or not, but when transitioning between worlds, you can still move. So I can reach areas that you may not have intended.
Very awesome. The graphics and music work well together.
Cool game. More levels and more mechanics would make it better though. Awesome graphical style
Haha very fun and challenging. Yes level 2 was a pretty huge jump in difficulty from level 1. Those files to be scanned take a while.
Liked it a ton. Would definitely like to play some more levels.
Interesting idea. You need to keep the recipes somewhere though. I can't remember all that stoof.
Pretty fun. You should make it more clear though where the exit is. Sometimes I'd go off the screen and it would reset.
Not sure what I was supposed to do at the boss.
I can't do it man. Lol this is too hard for me.
Thanks guys.
@Mali -- It could be a hardware issue. I know different keyboards allow only certain key press combinations. But (I think) all keyboards should be able to handle just two keys. Just right arrow and z shouldn't cause a problem. Not sure.
@Mali -- I don't really finish too many games. I've started working on a lot, just to quit halfway through. That's the main reason I joined this competition, just to kick my ass in gear and make something, anything, and finish it.
You can find the everything I've worked on here:

@joseadrian -- I consider this game done. I won't be adding more to it.
Pretty cool. Swapping towers made for some different gameplay.
Interesting idea, but sometimes I fail automatically right after getting a power up, not sure what's causing that.
Eggcellent game. I love puzzle games, and this one is great.
Amazing. The presentation is excellent. Music and gameplay fit nicely to create a great atmosphere. The ghosts did scare me a little. I thought back to when I was kid playing Sonic 3.
Didn't rate it. I think there's something wrong with the game speed. The first wall comes at me in a split second. I always die at around 0.25 seconds.
I like the idea. A little too slick and fast for me though.
Very hard, but I powered through all the levels.
Loved it. Awesome graphics. And the gameplay is easy to understand, yet complex. Made for some really hard puzzles.
Interesting take on a tower defense game. I'm not getting transparent graphics though. All of your sprites had a magenta background :\
Very impressed with the graphics and smooth gameplay. There's not really too much to do though.
I like it. A little easy though. Maybe you could make a sell/destroy building function.
You should put Java 8 required. A lot of people still have 6 or 7. Or you could compile for lower versions.
Haha I kept falling through the hole. But uhh, if the controls were more suited to two players, it would be better. My keyboard can't handle some key press combinations, so a lot of the time, either me or the other guy couldn't move.
Could get very complex at times if you have to hold down two at the same time to get reverse effects. But fun.
It was really hard to see the little dot.
I lost it at the you lost screen. Pretty hard though. It looks like the maze generation you used didn't have cycles. Makes avoiding the bad guys kinda difficult if they're in the way.
I tried to sing I knew you were touble. It didn't work.
Also, one of the most awesome ideas I've seen.
Love the graphics. Could use some musica though.
Also, it crashed on me. I was on about 5 damage with 2 delay upgrades and firing offscreen to pre-empt the baddies incoming when it crashed.
@jmborden
It was a graphical restraint. I wasn't up to making detailed sprites. So I thought, worms man, they're like rounded rectangles. Not so bad.
So I kinda took two steps and fell through the floor and under the screen.
Well that escalated quickly. But I stuck through it.
That was amazing. I definitely would like to see more levels in there. Possibly a third charge to make things more complex.
My only complaint is that I'm not a fan of slower direction change while in the air. Made it pretty hard to maneuver around the creatures.
Cool aesthetics. Graphics and music are great. I also like the gameplay. What I don't really like the jumping mechanic though. It's more difficult to change direction while in the air.
Also, if the heart bounces too many times quickly, the game hangs. The game hung when I tried to do the part with the narrow shaft.
I love it. Damn you make some awesome music.
haha I couldn't pause to write a review for this game.
I can't say enough good things about this game. I played a lot of Don't Starve, and this is a pretty damn good competitor. There is a final goal though, which I did manage to beat. 5 stars.
Now for the small details:
- I'd really like it if you can swap a tool with what's on the ground. (eg, holding axe in left hand, standing over scythe, press left, swap axe for scythe). I guess that might change a lot of things since you can put multiple items on the same tile.
- too much wood. wood everywhere.
You need at least Java 7 and just run the jar file. I really should get into the habit of compiling down to Java 6 though. You never know if some people might still have that.
Seems like a lot of the times, the actions don't work. Interesting concept though.
Cool idea. I didn't like the mines just appearing without any warning though. Seems like one would spawn just where I land.
Interesting game. Cool graphics. Always a fan of platformers. I think most people have trouble with inertia while in the air. Not a lot of platformers do that.
Cool idea. Very, very difficult though. Some of those structures are hard to get through.
Hahaha I liked that one. Well done style. Difficult puzzles.
