Cosmic Conqueror by MunkeeBacon 2014-08-27T20:15:00
I really liked this, conquering planets was fun though it would be even more so if I could do more than shoot, finding planets was fun and the audio and graphics are great.

This would have been interesting if I knew what I was doing a bit more, its an interesting idea that you're managing the resources on different planets and you have the ability to move cargo and ships!
Though I'm not too sure how this is supposed to be connected worlds I really liked it! It's like an rts without the single unit management, very enjoyable, the music fit, the gameplay is great the only thing I can say is maybe a few animations would make it look better other than that great job!
Having control as jump is very strange it makes the player have to contort their hand. You can stuck when you change worlds and it seems almost like there's no point to staying alive anyways since the "Died world" always has a path to get to the bread.
Interesting concept, making it so that I can't knock whatever I'm moving from planet to planet (when its on the hoovers line) would probably make it better. The audio was very fitting and the art was good too.
A very interesting idea to have user generated worlds, just wish I could do something in them besides just seeing them.
Really fun idea!
I like the music and the game play is interesting (though I did have troubles being colour blind).
I really liked the art. It's a fun concept but aliens sometimes spawned off screen (as well I could move off screen. Not really a fan of not having background music until theres enough aliens.
A very interesting concept, I really enjoyed messing around and trying to make a multilevel house, if you could rotate the camera it might be a bit better though as I did and up putting a lot of squares in a line trying to make a platform. Other than that though the music fits nicely its a fun and interesting idea and it would be cool to see it improved upon!

I really like the idea of racing on two tracks like this! Being able to brake might improve a bit but other than that great entry!
@RegularSlinky there's just no audio yet, not our phone!
@AndrewAdams because I don't own a mac
@fakeHair the way I saw it is that the planets have oxygen so if you're on them it regens, there will be planets that don't or that still use air though!
@kibertoad nope the ship never moves in a random direction it moves in the direction of the arrow the second you tap/click
I intend to shorten the count at the end of each level and appreciate all the feedback!
The art and audio is really good. The gameplay was simple and addicting though I'm not entirely sure how killing things connects planets. Putting in a jump or dodge would be really useful too so that players can attempt to get out of the way of bullets.
A fun bullet hell, but shooting seemed almost pointless because most enemies only fired once and they fired before they were in a position to be hit.
I died instantly and then got stuck in the roof with a crash error
I really liked this! there were a few issues like the audio repeating like that (when you lose and then go back) got annoying and there were some weird connections when I'd drag to one and then another ball would be connected but overall really fun!
404 not found, couldn't event try it
The controls for the platforming half felt very floaty like I couldn't control him well enough to play the game. Its an interesting idea having to maintain both sides of the game though.
The player movement feels very floaty, a lot of the tiles seemed to not be touching the ground. The level layouts were okay though.
Some sort of a pause would make this a lot better. Not having a player health display is really bad. Not being able to move diagonally makes the game much harder (in a bad way). The speed at which everything moves at the end is too fast, impossible to dodge anything.
The gravity is ridiculous, you should not fall that fast. The controls are really too close together. The windows.exe doesn't open. Not a fan of the one hit deaths like that, not without some sort of checkpoint or some way to get more than one hit.
I like the idea of the worlds colliding to change them (although it seems to spawn too many worlds at once) good job!
Didn't work on windows seems to just open and then crash with no error. (also not sure if its a joke but the theme was connected worlds not corrected words)
Game maker can do single runtime executables instead of installers which should always be used for jams, your collisions are too big and the wall collision is very strange.
Audio sounds like the flappy bird audio, single run time executables are what you should be using for jams installs aren't something a lot of people like doing.
Crashed on start for windows 7, no error
Interesting idea but it seemed like when I went into the blue world the firing things didn't reset timers or keep firing so they just waited and if I had went there to try and escape then went back I'd lose immediately.
Really interesting concept though when you flip it would be better if the player wasn't suddenly facing the other direction, also the flipping animation was making me feel ill.
Plays a lot like home but you might want to make it a bit more linear.
Couldn't boot the windows file, it says that the main class main.game is not found
Interesting idea I just wish it wasn't so easy to screw up the doors, good job!
It felt a lot like old ascii rpgs, the art is much better than an ascii game though.
Interesting idea (not sure what it has to do with the theme though) could be really fun if you put limiters and different enemies in.
I like the idea but I think you ramped the difficulty to quickly, it quickly became a bullet hell where I couldn't dodge.
I enjoy the art and concept is actually really interesting were you to go for a full release/ dev cycle but your physics make it very hard to jump on things precisely, it essentially made the game feel like everything was an ice level, over all good though!
