MööM Mafia by Kultisti 2019-05-03T23:26:40Z ♥ 1

I really liked it. The jump physics were really weird, though, and it could be hard to control. The ending was very spooky. I liked the sense of humor.

Welcome To The Machine by smuhlaci 2019-05-03T22:49:16Z ♥ 2

No sound. I found the game really confusing, and unintuitive. I kinda liked the graphics, but the game just didn't make any sense.

Super Scooter Fraud by soundslikeToby 2019-05-03T22:45:42Z ♥ 0

I wanted to play it, but when I hit "SCOOT," I started hearing sound effects, but was stuck on this screen.

Screenshot.png

I can't really play the game if I can't see anything . . .

UnderBreak by MlleAB 2019-05-03T22:16:13Z ♥ 1

I really liked the humor, but I didn't see how the game had any connection to the theme. It seems you don't actually have to shoot anyone, and can just rush through the levels, ignoring any enemies. I wish I could progress through the game without having my controls messed up by demons, but I guess that's part of the game. I think I liked the dialogue more than anything else.

Lifleline Warriors by Narrenschlag 2019-05-01T08:28:05Z ♥ 2

Did you make the SFX by blowing into the mic? The game felt a bit repetitive, but fun for a bit. I didn't like having to click the scroll wheel in, because on the webpage, it caused it to scroll.

DISREGARD LIFE, ACQUIRE CURRENCY by notb 2019-05-01T06:13:08Z ♥ 1

The art and mood were really nice, but it was hard to find what my goal was supposed to be. I wanted to enjoy it, but it ended up being too confusing.

Koe by velvetlobster 2019-05-01T06:07:16Z ♥ 1

I couldn't really progress in the game. It was really buggy and confusing. The art and atmosphere were great, but the nonsensical gameplay, and constant pop up messages made it really hard to play.

Reaper's Keeper by chelC 2019-05-01T05:47:09Z ♥ 0

This game is hard. The graphics are, obviously, fantastic.

Ollo's Life by Memel06 2019-05-01T05:39:48Z ♥ 1

I didn't give the kid my lives. He didn't deserve them.

Blood Chest by PeachTreeOath 2019-05-01T05:01:47Z ♥ 3

I really like the sound effects, and it was really fun. There was a point where my tongue got stuck, so I died because I couldn't grab anyone anymore. I never got past round 7, but it was really fun.

Life Arcane by George Lancaster 2019-05-01T03:15:54Z ♥ 0

EXUBER& by chainedlupine 2019-05-01T03:11:20Z ♥ 0

I'm really stuck. I don't know how to progress. I got the ramen, and then microwaved it. I went outside, but there was nothing there. After I went inside, and slept, it told me I couldn't leave without a key. The test person said he wanted to die, but I couldn't kill him. I looked at the fridge, and my bed, and everything, but I couldn't go anywhere.

Shinigami's new assignment by Sun-Wukong 2019-05-01T02:54:51Z ♥ 1

I really wanted to like this game, because I love cartoon art styles in games, but I just couldn't. The art for everything in the game, other than they main character, just felt lazy, and most of the difficulty came from bad controls, and the fact that your character's attack has such a bad hitbox. I feel like I would have rather just played a visual novel with this style, because the gameplay just ended up being frustrating.

Meter Maid DX by No Grapes Games 2019-05-01T02:35:15Z ♥ 1

Meter Maid is the best waifu. I never knew jaywalking could be so much fun. The game is kind of limited, and probably would have gotten old if you had more levels, but I really liked it, especially the cute graphics. My favorite Ludum Dare game so far!

Paynplayne by OrbitalBlueprint 2019-05-01T02:19:22Z ♥ 1

I got a bad ending. Was it because I accidentally threw away the letter? It was fun, but I really wish there was a fullscreen option.

Big Tiddy Goth Girlfriend: A Tale of Romance by yojammerjammer 2019-05-01T02:04:32Z ♥ 2

Life Is Not Currency by gamebuilder 2019-04-30T08:32:10Z ♥ 0

It was fun and relaxing. I think the interface could get a bit muddled, and I couldn't see my high score past the illustration. I enjoyed playing it.

Spider Disaster by ytaha 2019-04-29T07:30:26Z ♥ 0

It's hard. I'm not sure what the purpose of having extra eyes is.

LD43 — Sacrifices must be made (2)

Bomba Ball by bwalter 2019-05-03T23:43:24Z ♥ 1

It's really unique. I like the graphics. It would be cool if the players looked more different than each other, though. If, for example, some had beards or hair, or different gender or skin, it would probably give your more empathy for the players before they die. I think the fact that it stalemates so often is kind of an issue, but I don't know if time-outs are really the best solution. If players were stunned for longer, or knocked away when the ball was stolen from them, it'd be harder to have the constant back and forth. If they couldn't run through each other as much, that might help, because they seem to clump up a lot. I also feel like the goal zone seems a little small. Often one of my players would be right on top of it, but nothing would happen. Over all, though, I really like the game.

Jesus Take the Wheel by PeachTreeOath 2019-05-01T05:05:56Z ♥ 1

Oh well, there probably weren't THAT many kids on the school bus.

LD38 — A Small World (21)

Space Pow Collins by wisstopher 2017-05-19T01:44:44Z ♥ 0

There's not a ton that you can do in this game, and just looking for all the endings isn't the most fun thing. The music and sound is really pretty good, I think. But, it would have been nice if it was easier to understand, as I didn't enjoy typing in random keywords to see what they'd do. With this level of polish, though, I know you can probably improve it a lot, and make a more finished game, if you have the time.

Statera by Kristian David 2017-05-19T01:22:05Z ♥ 1

I wish there were more things I could do to influence the animals, like build fences to change where they go. Overall, a really solid concept, and it would be even better if it had more complexity and interactivity. Maybe you should be able to grow and destroy trees? I wish it didn't have to be in focus to run, because the first 100 seconds can be really dull, before things really start. It'd be cool to see how far you could run with this concept.

what's left by frostByte4k 2017-05-19T01:05:22Z ♥ 2

I won! But only because I discovered that you can double-jump. You should have put something in to explain that. Really pretty fun. You probably already know what you can improve, so I don't feel I need to give you all that. Keep working hard on making games!

Super Plumber Man vs The Evil Elf King by BeamKirby 2017-05-19T00:58:00Z ♥ 0

Really polished for what it was, but it would have been cool to see some more levels, to get a feel for the gameplay.

Planet04 by geck0 2017-05-19T00:53:34Z ♥ 0

It's a bit difficult for what it is. It's really, really hard to steer. It probably would be funner if it was easier to navigate around and complete the orders. Also, there's so little time to finish the orders. I could only finish one order, and that was after a lot of practice, and starting at the spawning area for the ore, and lining myself up with the wood spawning area, and even then, it was a close call.

The Burrow by Stending 2017-05-05T21:53:53Z ♥ 1

This is a very simple game, but it's such a joy to play, with the wonderful graphics and sound!

I only have a few issues with it . . . When making tight turns as the worm, he gets jagged edges. It looks like you made him out of squares. This just doesn't look as nice.

Also, when flying or swimming, you switch the direction the player goes, but since you can easily go offscreen, it seems weird . . .

Anyways, I love this game!

Rise of the Termites by Togis 2017-05-05T21:43:45Z ♥ 1

I was honestly really disappointed with this game. For a team so large, you have pretty weak graphics and sound. It isn't explained very well, but I did figure it out. The bigger problem is how dull it is. Because you can only dig one room at a time, you're forced to wait a lot at the beginning. If you could dig multiple, or started with some already dug, that would help ease the monotony a little.

It seems like you've got some good ideas. You just need to make it actually fun.

Afterbirth by xxDOOMbox 2017-05-05T21:14:30Z ♥ 1

I really love the graphics! After figuring the game out, though, it seems a bit easy, and basic. Would be nice if it progressed a bit more.

Tiny Tony by Firewill 2017-05-05T21:10:04Z ♥ 1

Nice graphics, but it's too dang annoying to play. Sorry, but I couldn't finish it. I'd suggest less sensitive controls, (please not mouse controls) and I'd also suggest that the main character is more noticeable. I spent the first minute just trying to find out what and where I was . . .

This is my spot by k8n 2017-05-05T20:58:23Z ♥ 3

Hey, this is pretty funny. Truth is, though, there's not much reason for offensive play. You can sit back, and wait till everyone else kills eachother, then just fight the last one standing. There's no game progression, and it's not deep enough to warrant hours of training, or a spot at evo, so I don't feel like this game warrants a lot of replay.

Star Traveller by SecondDimension 2017-05-05T20:53:03Z ♥ 4

Wow! The graphics were obviously very good. This is probably the best looking games I've seen for Ludum Dare. Unfortunately, I feel like the game itself is weak in a couple of areas. The explanations feel a little redundant, and the gameplay is far too basic to be engaging. It feels more like a paint-by-numbers than a game. I know the focus was on visuals and sound, which you definitely succeeded at, but the lack of good game play kind of detracts from it . . . :(

Space Hummus by voxel 2017-05-01T21:20:52Z ♥ 1

Hey! This is a lot of fun! I just wish you had more levels, and the game added new challenges more. Most levels can be beaten with one or two jumps, so they kind of feel the same.

Naziverse by furazin 2017-05-01T21:19:19Z ♥ 0

Shockingly hard. You've got a good sense of humor, though. The game and storytelling are very confusing, though.

Go Man's Sky by rawktron 2017-05-01T21:14:01Z ♥ 0

Honestly, I'm not finding this game very fun. There's no explanation of controls, and no noticeable game progression. I understand this is a parody, but it doesn't feel like much of a game . . .

Mall World by dydx 2017-05-01T21:06:34Z ♥ 0

Found the mouse man! Obviously, this game is pretty short. Is this your first game? Second game? Third game? It would be good if you added a little bit of a description. Like the graphics, but they're a little inconsistent.

Globey's Revenge by gamesplusjames 2017-05-01T20:52:01Z ♥ 0

Honestly, I found this game pretty disappointing. You've got a funny idea, but it's just not a very fun game. The hit detection is off, and the world doesn't even scroll evenly, leaving gaps between areas. Overall, it needs a lot more polish. Truth be told, though, it doesn't feel original enough.

Brainstorm 38 by epicSpeedTurtle 2017-05-01T19:33:56Z ♥ 0

After playing for a while, I didn't see any reason to continue playing . . . Didn't really see much appeal in this game . . . :(

The Mother of All Games by sorceress 2017-04-26T22:35:46Z ♥ 0

I like the graphics, but it's just too dang hard, and I'm not really a puzzle person, so I never finished.

The puzzles seem pretty well thought out, though.

AS Mall World by Sean S. LeBlanc 2017-04-25T04:13:25Z ♥ 1

It looks fun, but I didn't see any PC download, and the mall was empty. It didn't seem to work for me online.

P L A N E T O R U S by cottontshirtz 2017-04-25T03:43:59Z ♥ 1

I downloaded both the normal and nightmare mode for Windows. In Nightmare mode, the torus was not visible, making play very hard. The normal windows contained a program called "AGG_VIZ" which simply viewed 3D structures.

I would like to play the game shown in the screenshots, but can't. Can you fix this?

Feather Fighter by Ellian 2017-04-25T03:26:11Z ♥ 2

Huh. The graphics are really good, but I find it kinda hard to play. The blocks in the background are really confusing. They look just like solid blocks. You should've probably made them lower saturation, and lighter, so it's obvious they'r not solid. Also, the shotgun is way worse than the normal gun. I don't know if this was intentional, like a poison mushroom or something. The last note is that it's pretty hard to get back up if you fall onto a lower platform. I got pretty stuck.

The game ran rather slow for me, and I played the online version, so maybe I should check out the download version . . .

Corruption-5 by hexagore 2015-09-02T22:19:00

The automatic barfing killed me in the spikes section. :(

The Curse of Koomba by Eldan_Knight 2015-09-02T20:39:00

I'm surprised you made this game in Unreal Engine. That seems like overkill. It needs sound. Good graphics. The shake effect felt a bit too powerful to me. Your game is pretty difficult. Sometimes I would die even when I landed on an enemy. In conclusion, I must say that I absolutely HATE it when games mess with or hide my mouse pointer. It makes me feel very hostile when I lose control of my own computer. \[><]/

Kawaii Rainbow Happy Time!!!!!!!! by Clayblob 2015-09-01T21:30:00

Good title. Your game is not good, though. It lacks sound, there are no special effects when enemies die, it's not very thematic, there's very little difficulty, and very simple level design. Your story is good, but you didn't seem to spend time on much else, other than the background. :(

Llama Attack by corupta 2015-09-01T21:20:00

This is not an fps. It's in third person.

Blue Helmet Beatdown by madjackmcmad 2015-09-01T21:06:00

965790 was my final score. Your game is hilarious. My main problem is that, like in so many shooters, there's no reason not to hold down the fire button forever.

Chainsaw Island by KBF123 2015-09-01T20:50:00

Extremely basic. There isn't really much to the game.

Devil's Avocado by DeadFragment 2015-09-01T20:47:00

Pretty much impossible to play. No records of prayers. Impossible to gain faith of outer settlements. Gameplay is very basic, and there seems to be no strategy.

Play by ChaosCult 2015-09-01T20:17:00

The sound is a bit creepy. A bit too "adorable" for me.

TAHC by n9Mtq4 2015-09-01T20:09:00

I really like this game. It appears that it is possible for someone to make a fun, functional game that actually follows the theme. Good music, and the voices were actually pretty funny. A simple and fun game.

Snake in the Sky by rogberth 2015-09-01T19:42:00

It'd be better with sound. Maneuvering around and avoiding the bullets was fun, but it was a bit hard to actually hit things.

Angry face by Pat AfterMoon 2015-09-01T19:38:00

Kind of lame. It needs sound.

Release Day by Atridas 2015-09-01T19:33:00

This game is actually really fun, but not much like an MMO. It definitely makes me think of pac-man.

I Am the Baby <3 by euske 2015-09-01T19:27:00

Audio got annoying after a while. The difference between walls and floors could have been a bit more pronounced. It was fun to bump into things as a baby.

Monsters...BRAWL! by A-Flat Miner Studios 2015-09-01T19:12:00

Good, but a bit imbalanced, it seems, with some costumes being too powerful. Also, you shouldn't be able to ride on the other player's head. There doesn't actually seem to be much strategy.

Get out of my house! by Vladirien 2015-09-01T19:01:00

Actually very fun. I liked the way different objects had different throwing arcs, but often it seemed that I had way too many rocks and it was hard to have the right weapon at the right time.

Morko by solkar 2015-09-01T18:53:00

Your sprites were well drawn, but everything else was kind of bland by comparison. It was hard to play because of the collision detection, and how hard it is to fit into the corridors.

Face Puncher by chunkybrewster 2015-09-01T18:50:00

Sound was odd. It was quite repetitive. But oddly cathartic.

Gamedev Nightmare by Digitaldude555 2015-08-30T03:39:00

I beat all the enemies I could see, but then I got killed by an invisible guy. I didn't really get where I was supposed to go. It didn't seem very thematic. I'll rate again once I'm on a computer where I can hear the sound.

Autobahn Monster by Indyo 2015-08-30T03:28:00

It didn't feel very thematic, but it was very funny. I liked all the humor.

Holy Fenrir by NIGIC 2015-08-26T23:57:00

The greatest enemy in the game is the collision detection, and it's very easy to get stuck so that you can't move anywhere. This prevented me from beating the game. It's sort of funny that you used RPG maker to make something that wasn't really an RPG. But I think that's kind of cool. I felt like I was just wandering around in a maze, and there wasn't much of a point. Also, enemies should go through some sort of animation when they get hit.

Feed The Cracken by DarthThomas 2015-08-26T23:43:00

Audio was TERRIBLE. The game was a bit repetitive, honestly, and taking out the unmoving ships while avoiding the shooting one was a bit boring. Perhaps if the ships you were trying to get were actually moving targets it would be interesting.

Justice Five by randoman 2015-08-26T23:39:00

I kept playing it mainly for the story, for some reason. I really like the superhero boss fights. My gripe is that I wish there was a health bar for the bosses, so I could know how close I actually am to beating them. Does their health reset every time I die? I'm honestly really interested in this game, but I only got to level 2. It'd be cool to see what this game could look like with a little more polish.

Yukko by Meta-link 2015-08-26T23:25:00

It's a bit short, and confusing. Good art, 'tho. All the guys look the same. The first scene makes sense, and makes it seem like a realistic game, but the second scene messes up that realistic feel.

Monster(モンスター) by ArthG 2015-08-26T23:17:00

There's pretty much no repercussions for killing them, and no way to get them back, even when you die. They don't really get chased well.

Dudes in Space by TheOlinone 2015-08-26T23:13:00

Can't see what this has to do at all with the theme. Also, none of the abilities seem very helpful, and it's not very playable, much less beatable. If I understood what the terminals were that I could shoot or hack, and what the drones were, it might help. But nothing makes sense.

I, Villain. by P.T.A 2015-08-26T22:54:00

I really like the concept of using the dog to attack in the first part. The game didn't make much sense, though, and collision detection was really bad. In general, it was very hard to know what you collided with and what you didn't. Also, fighting enemies was pretty glitchy, and hard to get good hits in, and pretty much impossible to avoid the projectiles.

Harvey, Dean, and Pete's Terrible Adventure by GenericTeamName 2015-08-26T22:45:00

You should be able to move constantly by holding a direction, and not be forced to repeatedly tap directions. It made it very frustrating to play. Movement should be seamless and easy, but in this game it was way too hard.

Monster Fight by Romario Ramirez 2015-08-26T22:39:00

It doesn't have enough variety, and the gameplay is more luck than skill, because of how difficult it is to maneuver and avoid getting killed, except for constantly shooting to the right and moving up and down to constantly keep bullets onscreen to kill enemies and protect you from enemy bullets.

Monster Pizza by dalbinblue 2015-08-26T00:12:00

Great game! What a great idea for a game! I always felt nervous around those cars. It was hard to not run everyone over.

The Case of the Mystery Mauler by lucentbeam 2015-08-25T04:23:00

A very interesting concept and game. It'd be cool to see how much further you could run with the idea if you had more time. It's pretty choppy, and I wish I could click to advance dialogue.

Predator Hood by Lucho9 2015-08-25T04:11:00

Very good graphics.
I couldn't get past the first area.
It was hard to tell what was solid and what was not.
Too bad you didn't have any music.

Hymn of the Sages by PowerSpark 2015-08-25T03:53:00

You're graphics were pretty good, but your screenshots don't reflect that. Your first screenshot seems to have some issues with the monster's outline. I was misled about the quality of the graphics. I thought they were worse than they actually were.

WEAKER BOWSER BROS by JHM 2015-08-25T03:52:00

Very good graphics and sound. Fun, but only one level isn't that much. Interesting concept.

Slime Hunter by Ardy 2015-08-25T03:45:00

Sound effects were a bit annoying and inconsistent, and it was a bit dull. Just collecting stuff wasn't terribly fun.

Groop by Demetz 2015-08-25T03:34:00

Very repetitive, but oddly addicting. Would have been more interesting if you had more kinds of enemies and upgrades. I survived till level 10.

Ghost Fortress by Mathstr0 2015-08-25T03:25:00

It makes me feel kind of warm and fuzzy inside to see someone using Scratch for Ludum Dare. It's a bit too glitchy though, and hard to play. If you learn how to use game maker or something, it'll be easier to make a more solid game. Best of luck when it comes to making games.

Super Monster World by Croze 2015-08-25T03:21:00

Most of the time when I click an enemy, nothing happens.

Oni Yu Can Scare Them by ChosenCharacter 2015-08-25T03:15:00

Very very good. However, I find it strange how people are scared of moving pots and chickens, but don't seem to react when they see a demon. You can walk right past the samurai.

The Baby Eater by sararyCow 2015-08-25T03:08:00

Sales of a Deathman by superfluous 2015-08-25T02:56:00

Very simple. It feels natural.

Galaxy Hop by AntonyBaasan 2015-08-25T02:37:00

Pretty good. The monsters' attack is hard to control though. Even the lowest power sends my guys over the edge.

Eternal Rest by Matzigon 2015-08-25T02:30:00

Your game is a bit repetitive, though.
When I turned invisible, I never became visible again.

Dominions'n'dominoes by Benjamin 2014-09-04T23:40:00

Or Else They Will Disconnect You (for Oculus Rift) by Dark Arts and Sciences 2014-09-04T22:35:00

Why make a game for Occulus Rift for Ludum Dare? (Do most people own one?)

Fairy Bash by trekapp 2014-09-04T22:33:00

It was unsure what exactly made me lose, I hadn't run out of apples. Also, this appears to have ZERO to do with the theme.

robots and goblins by revilossor 2014-08-28T22:37:00

Good innovative idea, but often the charged attack won't activate. Also note that the Ludum Dare theme is "Connected Worlds" not "Parallel Worlds."

nanoTransit by intersectiongames 2014-08-28T22:12:00

The fact that you have to rotate the ship makes it difficult. This has nothing to do with the theme.

No Name by Mr-Hide 2014-08-28T22:03:00

Nothing to do with the theme. Nice graphics, though.

The Catapult by OinkIguana 2014-08-28T21:59:00

Very well made story-based game. The story followed the theme and was pretty interesting. Well done.

The Story of a Fabulous UniRaptor and Fifty Seven Aliens by pi_pi3 2014-08-28T21:38:00

Really bad controls. Why not just use W for jump and have one attack button?

Jack Primus: Peacekeeper by TeamQuadratic 2014-08-28T21:29:00

Why does he look different in each illustration?

Gargantuan by TheGreenTie 2014-08-28T21:24:00

Good graphics, mood, and audio. However, it didn't have much to do with the theme. I like how the boss fight progressed.

The Druidly Heroic Quantum Player Who Fails To Save The Day Yet Aagain!1 by john_conder9 2014-08-28T21:07:00

This takes too long.

HEAL by Stepwise 2014-08-27T04:09:00

This is a bad influence on children . . . it teaches them that falling on spikes will turn you into a mermaid. If you're not careful, you could be sued.

Connected Worlds by ajayajayaj 2014-08-27T04:04:00

Couldn't beat the second level.

Maximum Moxy by swinestudios 2014-08-27T04:00:00

Did very well with the theme, unlike a lot of games.

DON'T. BREAK. MIRRORS. by IamAcoconut 2014-08-27T03:55:00

It's really funny, but not much of a game.

Tinker Maze by belowzerogames 2014-08-27T03:27:00

Why does it say "Web" if you download it?

Flicker by PapaCheech 2014-08-27T03:26:00

Great game! It's interesting that your past selves are against you instead of for you, like in so many other similar games.

A Galaxy United by MarekkPie 2014-08-27T03:17:00

How do you beat a level? Hitting the end switch doesn't seem to do anything.

Monster+Connect! by saguaro 2014-08-27T03:02:00

Very good. I like how you have a time limit. It adds desperation to the game.

The Never Ending Cycle by AlucardX60 2014-08-27T02:49:00

There were multiple instances where the game crashed because it couldn't load graphics.

Just an Otter Game by Logan 2014-08-27T02:30:00

Why should I play this when I have so many other otter games?

Affix It by SaxonRah 2014-08-27T01:56:00

I flew away on a block and fell outside of the room. I saw the sunset, and I died.

e|merge by MoonlightBomber 2014-08-27T01:22:00

That was not a game.

Parallel Worlds by jprogman 2014-08-27T00:46:00

That was confusing, but I did win!

Think Fast by shico 2014-08-27T00:13:00

How do you win?

Dungeon Blaster (Unfinished Demo) by BrainSlugs83 2014-08-26T17:36:00

I don't like that you have to install it. The graphics are good and so are the controls, but the game is repetitive and there is no consequence to dying. If these were fixed, the game would be much better.

Galaxy Hunters by Konste 2014-08-26T17:30:00

The graphics were good, but the controls were difficult, and the stages were badly designed and hard to navigate. Were they randomly generated?

Hexahedron by Jon Fischer 2014-08-26T03:43:00

You can't rotate the camera, so often the perspective is difficult, and objects are obscured.

Invertigo by H1S2 2014-08-26T03:20:00

The visuals remind me very much of limbo. The music is good.

World of Joy by Lancelot Gao 2014-08-25T03:06:00

The screen's too big to fit in the browser.

Awesome Smasher Extreme / Beautiful Princess Hopping Adventure by BlennosoftGames 2014-08-25T02:42:00

Way too short.

Little Jimmy and the Great Imagination Machine by laremere 2014-08-25T01:48:00

This is the first decent game I've played at LD30. Good work. It would have been better if it was longer. The switching mechanic was very well done, and it was pretty thematic.
