Got to the end woo! Very thought provoking, you need a good memory to effectively reach the end.

Very interesting to play, good work!
Had some fun with the enemies, but the controls are awkward and the Golem is way too easy compared to the Minotaur in my opinion, but I guess it was because there are only two enemies.
Great aiming mechanics! People need to make more games like this!
Nice job, easy to see other creations.
Great game! It makes the players focus.
Fun but a little hard to hit some things.
Great job on it.
Really interesting approach nice!
Spoiler Alert!
I was just getting started, then I am surprised by a house appearing next to my colony. I was like UHHHH WHAT
Doesn't work for me.
Do you win when it crashes?
Just kidding it was fun.
Wow, this is really fun to play and tuned so well. The sounds are great as well.
Not to shabby, nice intro though.
Pretty cool game, tune it down though, it's very difficult.
Way too short, but 4/5 for graphics. Nice work
Nice level design man! Thanks for checking out my game, too.
Played about three levels nice job! Not sure how the mechanic works though, I just move around and the platform appears. Must be more obvious with two people.
Very clever use of shadows, would make a pretty sick game if it were more polished (moving up through shadows)
I love how in the ending the conversation just randomly ends awkwardly.
Really fun to play and defend, but a bit too difficult.
8/10 Great gameplay, really neat
5/5 for innovation, very unique game you have here. With improved graphics and controls (audio too), this could be a very cool game. Also, it took a bit to get the mechanic down but that was the point.
I'm bad at this because I can't keep track of the small ball. Good game though.
Nice concept, reminds me of my entry.
I can't think of a reason not to like this.
Like War Thunder and Asteroids.
Nice choice with the font, real fun to play.
Cool, needs more obvious instructions, looks a lot like my entry too:
http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-30/?action=preview&uid=38755
Thanks everyone and sorry for the difficulty, I made it hard because there are few levels.
If you are stuck, think outside the box and remember that everything that is present is there for a reason.
Probably a great game, but I stopped playing because I was constantly frustrated by the spikes all over the start.
The rotating mechanic works well, great effort.
YES I finished. Great game, fun puzzles.
Nice, just I can't tell when I hit something.
This may not seem like a good game, but MAN you did a lot of work considering you made it with BGE. Nice transitions, "Brick world" or whatever was very laggy, needs ending and more levels.
The game is black for me. Quite disappointing.
Very innovative, you should continue working on this.
This game deserves it's own category: Mind-Blown
Quite fun for it's simplicity, I got second place (Germany won).
Cool, feels really crowded though, maybe more tiles/less random ones?
Great game overall! Not much of a difference between waves from what I saw.
Nice job on this one, thanks for your tutorials! Wouldn't be in this if it weren't for your tutorials.
Pretty nice, you should expand it.
Really good mood, feels like you're in space.
This was nice, wishing that the graphics were more complete.
So, the dialog was nice but it was easy to miss it because you had to stand on a certain point.
Also, players spawning right on top of doors without an indicator was frustrating. Otherwise it's okay!
This was very cool but I found the jumping awkward when you're close to a wall.
I like the look of this so great job. I will say that the pinball got stuck in the road.
Not too bad, but I have to point out that the spikes got the hero stuck. He constantly died to the zombies there.
Very unique. There has to be some way to clear corpses though. People like me flood the whole level with corpses xD
This was pretty entertaining for being so simple. Nice!
So unique. Make an awesome post compo version, update the graphics and such!
This is fun! It's really hard to stay alive for me.
The graphics are very neat! The movement (jumping in particular) is strange though.
This is awesome! It's a must play. Great job on scanning ALL of that.
The graphics and audio are great!
Great mechanic! It's loads of fun as a puzzle, I suggest expanding on this.
Wow, I think this is well made. You know where to put the juice!
"Best soundtrack of all 2015"
Really solid game! It's really difficult and slightly frustrating though.
Man, those sound effects are actually fun to listen to.
Great game man! This is so well made!
Some amazing dialogue in here!
Are the bullets supposed to turn into bee swarms? xD
I think this was nicely put together.
I think this is a very immersive game! The choice options flow great. The story breaks and loops sometimes, though.
Interesting!
The gameplay had good difficulty. Very fun!
This was unique
I like it.
I think the idea is great, some sound would be nice though.
You have the same idea as me. :3
However, it's really a shame that the controls were awkward and the walls were the same color of the floor in one level. Having no way between levels other than space bar felt stale as well.
Great job! It was a little tough for me though.
Great job, I think this is nicely presented.
Fun! I love the audio xD
Cool art and concept! It's really similar to what my game is like, so of course I'll love it.
I had to put my game out in a rush but you're advice made me realize I had to update the thumbnail. Thanks!
Thanks guys! :)
@snake5 I understand how awkward possessing is in this game. Once judging finishes I'll have a Post-Jam version to make some levels a bit less ridiculous/overwhelming to beat :)
I made a patch that fixed a few small things that were mentioned above. Read about it... http://gamejolt.com/games/hymn-of-the-sages/88559/news/new-patch-1-1-1/92477
Thanks for all the incredible feedback, you guys rock! :3
@Tanton-H2X I'm so glad you enjoyed my game! I will without a doubt do my best to to improve as much as I can using the feedback I receive. Thank you for taking the time to comment!
@crucknuk Thanks for the comments! The problem you're taking about will be fixed with the post-jam version.
@uchiro I'm glad you enjoyed the game! Thank you so much for the bug report, I wouldn't have caught that problem on my own.
I will begin uploading the post jam version very soon, expect it around 30 min from now.
Post jam version is uploaded! Make sure you play WebGL, the standalone's aren't compiled just yet. Sorry for the wait.
Please take a look, I've changed a few levels, fixed bugs, created a whole ending cut scene, and more! Enjoy, and thanks for making this LD awesome!
@uchiro Thanks for the photos! I'll try and get a patch out soon to better fix these things.
@uchiro You can follow future updates here: https://www.facebook.com/powersparkgames
If anyone can follow it that would help my small page out. ;3
1.2.2 patch released! Check out the changes here: http://gamejolt.com/games/hymn-of-the-sages/88559/news/1-2-2-patch-changes/95962
Gamepads are supported! Read about the changes here:
http://gamejolt.com/games/hymn-of-the-sages/88559/news/1-2-3-patch-changes/96071
Good concept but I think it starts off with too much difficulty. Maybe begin by drawing a line, then circle, etc.
Good game! This would have been nice if it were longer. I didn't play the first one though.
Not too bad, I thought the movement was frustrating with the mouse.
Not too bad, I think the head movement was a bit faulty.
This is a pretty cool idea. I liked having to figure out how to get kills myself.
This was cool! I died by sneaking up on someone with a bat though. I think that should be changed.
Your game looks and feels like it has potential, continue it.
So monstrous! Imagine if the NPC would get sad... xD
Also, the ground is a meter below my feet.
The art is so great! Neat idea too.
I liked it, I actually got 2 buildings. :)
This was put together nicely! Good work.
Great job, I laughed too much at the beach ending! xD
I fell out of the world a lot, I don't know why but I got a glimpse of all the content. Nice!
This has great aesthetics and mood! Continue making things like this.
I think you're going in the right direction, but dying is inevitable because it seems you have to walk in the street to move on. If it were possible to dodge that'd be cool too.
There's not much wrong with this, but next time make sure you add some extra layer of depth with the gameplay. The explosions are satisfying :)
Great game, it's interesting to see what outcomes come out of different demands.
I like this. The greatest feat was controlling the character, but if it were easy to control the game would be way too simple.
Fun! The hugs were surprisingly satisfying.
I rarely see things like this. Good work.
Great game, the audio was great.
Broken for me. Same case as UncleChris.
I beat it! It's possible. Just took some random determination.
Nice game, it reminded me of an FPS Reverse Pac-Man.
Nice art! The game plays along really nicely.
I like the graphics and the mini map. However, your Theseus AI should use path-finding, but if you can't program that then make sure he doesn't teleport outside the labyrinth.
Nice job on those levels! I think that some jumping sounds is all that is needed.
Cool game, I think this would be awesome in multiplayer.
This is pretty nice and if you add in music and improved controls this game would work out well.
No too bad, fun and challenging.
Nicely done, not even close to lame!
The web version didn't work at all for me but playing the windows version I liked the camera movement.
This was great once I figured out how to play.
I only played till day 4, I don't if it's infinite or not.
Wow. I did not expect this neatness. But this is probably one of the coolest plat-former mechanics I've seen in the jam. Great work!!
This was fun. I used to use Stencyl a long time ago, keep making games.
I played alone and enjoyed this! 5/5 for humor, love those instructions too.
The graphics and audio are great and fit together amazingly! I had to play by myself but I think the concept is awesome. I could imagine playing it with a friend and having a blast figuring out what to do, running around everywhere. The intro was cut off a few seconds too early, I don't know if I pressed a button to continue but that's a feature that you can add in there. Great two player game, I'll see if I can play it through with a friend.
This was cool and very well done. Nice polishing too!
I thought whatever left click did was like random.
This is fun! The movement is like ice though. Imagine if the unicycle were a creature...
Unique! I enjoyed it (that intro caught me).
Not bad, but I think it's pretty difficult.
One of the most polished entries I've seen! It needs more attention.
I managed to score 5200, not an easy task. :)
I liked the mood and characters very much. I couldn't get it to play with my friend though.
This was okay, but all the messages disappeared within 2 seconds. :S
I guess it's non-existent.
Nice work for your first game jam! I hope you expect to make more games in the future.
It was pretty tough but I finished.
I couldn't understand the ending because once it did the "thing", the credits queued.
Really nice once you get the hang of it. Pretty solid.
That was fun! I wish there was more art though.
Pretty nice but I found it strange how beefy enemies were.
Funny! It's really easy to get stuck in the ground though.
So satisfying.
Best. Music. In. LD.
Cool! Smooth camera would make this awesome.
I actually liked how the flying worked, almost like a 3d asteroids. Finish this if you can.
Solid arcade game, I like how there's warning signs if you're too big or small for the obstacle! The game says A and D but you probably meant to say W and S, which are correct controls.
"His queen elizabeth sanked the recipe."
Genius concept, 5/5 humor XD
Really great concept! Challenging puzzles are rare in Ludum Dare. Two thumbs up.
Really great take on the theme! The car physics are very well done. I would say that the area could be more linear, the world was very open. You had awesome music too, fits it well!
I love this! I'm surprised I haven't seen this tried before in a pinball game.
Polished game, but the web player was awful to play in. Clicking never worked for me. I suggest making a forest out of meshed trees, not trees with hundreds of particle leaves.
Amazing style. I do suggest making the purple more clear around the mushroom. I wish it was longer!
I love the look of it but it would be cool to see the tree after failing.
I didn't know what to do with the camera changing... the ball seemed to die out within 10 sec after starting.
I like the idea very much. Games like this are not common, 5/5 innovation! The weakest point would be the time it takes to get a room to move around another... if it hits something it loses all of it's force. Overall great game though.
I liked the idea. It seems that one player is controlled by Q, D, and Z which is strange on my keyboard.
Nice game but the serum is very forgiving like said above. I like how the tree is indestructible compared to the building :)
Holy difficult. I like that you're challenging the player but the first task should be simply landing, just to give everyone accomplishment :)
Cool game for two buttons! I enjoyed, but there should be something randomly added to each room, health especially. Keep it up.
It needs some sound effects, but other than that good job.
Really amazing art! I must say I'm bad at staying alive, you have to control some patience :)
Really neat hacking idea! I know how hard it is to make a networked game so congrats on getting it working in such little time.
Interesting experiment, it needs more entries.
Great art! The pot smashing shouldn't take multiple hits... having to stop at every pot for 3 sec adds up
You have a very successful look for your game here. The controls were difficult but I liked the vast detail in each scene.
Not bad! Congrats on successfully making this solid game.
Very challenging puzzles! Great job.
Great visual style. The game should rely less on patience, though. Amazing graphics too!
Not bad at all, I like the graphical look very much.
Really fun game the upgrade shop feels like a VR game ☺
It kept me hooked! Really strategic in how you can choose both actions! It took me forever but I destroyed their army.
Nice little game! I find the gameplay fun :D
Good idea, I like the high score feature!
Very great game the music was quite amazing! But it seems like the worms are having more fun.
Ah great but rage inducing XD
Frustrating but fun concept. It seems like it could be fun with walking.
Amazing graphics and nice twist at the end.
Great game! Impressive use of Unity particles, too.
Not bad, impressive that you made multiple stages.
Amazing game! I'm surprised the game is so well polished!
A very awesome polished finish! Better version of my fighting game ;)
Very solid, I liked it! Extending this would be a great idea.
Don't get me wrong, amazing music!
This seems like a fun concept I really wish I could play it 2 player with someone :D
I enjoyed this idea. I think the card based idea is unique and strategic, but there needs to be more energy increasing cards, perhaps.
Perfectly fits the theme. Takes a little long but other than that very entertaining game.
VERY well made, congratulations! Amazingly fun gameplay, music, and mood! The thing you should change is make the non food items distinct. Great job!
Very good game! Great music too.
Not bad at all, add more levels!
Thanks for the replies everyone!
@manabreak If you've already completed the swing you will take damage so the trick is getting close enough.
Thanks for the feedback everyone I appreciate it!
@YinYin @Tanton-H2X I don't seem to get the same problem with the item shop, I may find an alternative to the GUI.
Also I plan to give the game a nice Post-Compo update a day or so after the results are in.
Thanks for all your comments! The post compo version is released now.
Super solid and polished. The cards should be expanded just a little. Also, stating the relationship between flow and hype is a must.
It seems like it would be fun but there were many errors with the Web version that almost made the game unplayable.
Wow, great work. Incredible XD I like the motivation!
Interesting and unique game! I will say that there was a lot of waiting, I guess I'm inpatient
Impressive in all categories! Very solid and fun and the voice is great too. Good job!
I greatly enjoyed this, one of the strangely moody games you don't get to see much of. I like the photos, good call!
Wasn't sure what to do.
Very polished! It gets challenging very fast.
Very hard but I liked the game.
Nice little game, it actually isn't bad exploration. The sounds were quite amusing :)
Good mechanic but there can be more alternating puzzles, the rolling ball was a good step.
I like it! The potato idea and Christmas mode are nice touches. The level generation has some problems, as stated before, it seems impossible to get to some blocks.
It fit the theme but I wasn't sure what to do at first.
Very great! Good work with polishing, it looks great :)
Amazing, I spent so much time on it. Didn't beat the dragon :/
Good idea, but the roof slopes give you only a few spots to jump from. Difficult.
Awesome graphics! Please add sound to this.
Nice little game, but the inside of the tree was a little tedious to climb.
Very interesting but it lacks a good puzzle using the growing mechanics. I didn't know what the levers were doing when I activated them too.
Solid concept, but the players need to have better movement.
Your game is really cool, the idea fits together and the weapon spinning is a really innovative element. Great game!
It is very interesting, I was expecting some ending based on the choices though.
Not bad, an auto magnet would be nice :)
You have the exact insperation as my entry, http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-34/?action=preview&uid=38755
--that surprised me! but the gameplay is different. I liked it, it's a shame it wasn't finished
Not too bad! The lighting twist was a great addition, it kept me playing until the end.
I had no clue I was descending, try to make that more obvious. A trail would be great!
The controls were too floaty and the crazy fast seeds should be less fatal. Otherwise a well made game.
Really well put together game!
Cool idea very fitting for the theme!
It's playable with others? Cool!
I liked the idea but I couldn't play with anyone co-op. Good work!
Really solid game! The art is quite amazing.
The music work is amazing. Great level design, theme and mood too!
Great game, it just needs some polishing to be a good mobile game. Music needs some work though.
Good game but I think the one-life was unforgiving. Keep it up!
Awesome concept, but it gets tedious after a bit.
The UI should be simpler, but it's in the right direction.
The air resistance was a nice touch. Man I love flying my whale in the sky.
Really good and fun entry!
Great idea of switching lights. It is difficult, though.
Neat! Great game but it slowly gets repetitive.
Well made, I think you can expand on the concept.
Very well polished and fast paced. Good job!
Needs more field of view... but other than that a cool little game.
Simplistic! I think it needs something more special, like sound or something to race. Good work.
A nice little adventure. Good work!
Great growing game, polishing was well done.
The game's in the right direction but the combat needs some work.
Great game! So cool, just movement is a little slow.
Pretty fun, it could use sounds and hit feedback
Amazing indeed :D
Very good music and polish, I like how you made your effects sync with the music.
Amazing work... great graphics and music! The boss was much more challenging from the fights before, however.
Very fun boss battle! Good game.
Complete and polished!
Awesome game concept, great idea with the camera layering effects. I hope you take this game further!
Amazingly fun!
Good game! I couldn't beat it, add some healing?
Great graphics :D smooth controls and everything it needs, but level 4 was broken for me.
Neat little game, just a heads up, sometimes the combinations would spell out words XD
Just needs sound and maybe effects. Hope you had fun making it!
Great game, love the polish it has!
Very fun and unique little game :D The art is great as well
Nice twist on chess!
I am happy to see an idea so similar to mine :D The animations are great, but it looks like it was a little ambitious, as there wasn't much to do yet.
Expand on it though, good luck!
Art is nice, but the bats seemed pretty hard to hit... if they were supposed to be hit. I would enjoy juicier sounds and gameplay!
What a great entry! Congrats!
Oops, I closed the web version on accident while using the Ctrl vision
I think this has some good puzzles, and it's a solid game.
Interesting idea, it's something I have wanted to try before and this is executed well
Thanks everyone for your feedback this LD!
It has cool graphics and animations as well
Cool music :D
Fun puzzles! I was surprised by the early difficulty..
Amazing graphics! Only thing I really played was the race and it was fun :)
Great game overall, I like how detailed the levels are.
Great idea! I was shocked to see that mechanic, awesome puzzles in this.
Great humor :D There's good strategies to use with each shape too.
Amazing..!
Great graphics! Good luck with completing it.
Pretty funny game :) shapeshifting is hard to do, I have to find the right spot next to the person sometimes, but it's not a big deal. I also suggest maybe a timer showing when the groups/people will disappear? Good job!
Looks cool! The colors are a little bit hard to tell apart at first (orange and red) but it's a small problem. I wish that you wouldn't take damage when not switching perfectly at the color edges.
Cool music and concept, good luck with improving further.
It would be cool with some choices involved in the game.
Pretty fun, I played it until I got the win. It did take a long time though, you should add sounds and art.
Looks good, but even after knowing what to do it is pretty easy. Gets repetitive, so if there's something to make it more interesting, go for it.
It looks great :D
What a unique game! The mood and backstory was very well done. I only suggest that sounds should go with actions.
Challenging, but still great gameplay! Continue improving :)
Not bad, I enjoyed figuring out good strategies!
This game looks very impressive! It is difficult to move around though... Still very interesting to play :D
Great potential, I was confused how to play at first.
I got 70 before getting trapped by a horde XD Nice game, it needs juice!
Nice game concept. However, I think the physics were buggy, I fell through a hole even though I was too big.
Cool game, good story and mood.
What an awesome, challenging game! I love the effects
Great design in this, reminds me of cave story !
Difficult, but it's a perfect mobile game with some polishing. Good luck!
I couldn't finish, but good job with what I heard of the story :)
Great depth in this game, good job. I got 282 houses.
One of the better entries! It's got good level design which is nice to see. Love the music too
Fun! Very good job with the visuals and sound. My high score is only 21
Great fun to be had in this... Smooth dragging controls :D
Started off too difficult-- but I got to the second level.
Neat mechanics.
It's unique :D has good potential too. Neat shape shift effect.
Nice game :D It's not too grindy or difficult to finish, which is good.
Cute game! But the pizza was a mouse?
Nice game, reminds me of Seven Nation Army music video-- but I suggest putting controls somewhere because I forgot at first.
Neat game, I suggest the making flight smoother.
Would be better if the mushrooms were pointed at.
Awesome audio, fun and solid gameplay. My complaint is that the black hearts are hard to see being around many black particles.
Pretty fun, but I think some of your links are broken.
Ship movement needs fixing, and the 'kamikaze' should be either less frequent or easier to hit.
Awesome game! It's very difficult at some points but it's still great.
Interesting idea
The web version gets laggy after a while.
Seems like it's too difficult, but I did enjoy finding the bomb arrows. Those were very fun to spam!
Good graphics, they are like mine :D
but there was a strange bug that made the girl on the second level begin to slide to some door after she fell unconscious.
I liked where the game was going, but I got stuck on the part where the narrator says something like "Diana is going nowhere"
Still pretty fun concept :)
It has a good style, wish you could finish!
Not bad, I found the same bug h2n0 found with level 4.
I didn't get very far, I kept pressing space thinking it was jump XD
I like this! The effects, audio, and puns are very outstanding to other entries! Good job
This is a normal cat.
Pretty outstanding idea and flow, I guess the worst thing is that sometimes after switching to a window with the correct shape a bit late will still break the glass. Very fun, though!
Love the message this delivers, good job
Wonderful intro, with that music and art :D I think the gameplay's great, everything's pretty fleshed out and polished. One of the top entries for sure!
Not bad, I like the unique mood and story going on, good work!
Pretty fun :D Give the game more juice, and this can be really satisfying to play. Good work on the different enemy types as well, it keeps it interesting.
Interesting theme-use! Music is pretty good too. Keep it up.
Very polished visuals and audio, and on top of that, a good puzzle mechanic! Good work!
Really smart game-- I was nice and the story made sense... It froze on the level with the big bros though, if that helps.
Interesting, sort of breaks the fourth wall :D
The dad just falling over kinda got me ha. Good concept, it seemed kinda buggy though.
Interesting :) the intended tediousness is an uncommon humor.
Couldn't figure out what to do after the "rabbit hole", sorry D:
Please just maybe start off with a few easier puzzles because I was almost just going to give up on the grandma's phone number, which most people will do. Keep building this game though, it's interesting.
Cool entry but really hard to reach all the content... I couldn't last very long. Art is great, music is good too! Just a few fixes will make it balanced :D
Cool art and music, and neat cutscenes... I'd suggest making the battle gameplay a bit more interesting or unique. Great entry!
Pretty interesting ending :D I like the brief little experience here, lovely effects and pixel art.
The graphics are really nice! The game's pretty fun once you get the hang of it, sound effects would have been nice but it all works.
It's well made, though more enemy variety is needed earlier on... Keep working on it :D
Great execution! It seems that balancing has been done to make it easier, but in my opinion the difficulty is the biggest problem. The game's great, but enemies are so slow and nonthreatening that there's no tension. Awesome game nevertheless, lots of fun.
Good job. There definitely needs to be some air control, but the movement is okay otherwise. I couldn't figure out how to get past the "E to attack" part. Keep it up!
Neat storytelling... Good job on trying out the narrative idea.
Cool puzzle, it was really short but I like the idea and graphics :D
It was pretty good, lots of reading needed kinda slows it down in my opinion. Doge makes it much wow
Gahh it's hard but so fun haha. Great game the choices are actually really tough after a while. I was low on money mostly.
The music is amazing but it's brought up even more by a solid game! Great feel :)
This is pretty fun, no doubt about it! Well done on the movement, sound effects are obviously needed but it's great fun as it is.
Solid puzzle, it gave all the clues needed so good job there... it seems that other entries with puzzles assume that the players know something, causing confusion.
Great puzzle, sound, and mood!
Cool look and concept... the camera angles were neat! I found it funny that you strafe faster than you run forward. The game was hard to follow/keep up with, but I guess that made it kinda interesting.
The scrolls were unreadable for me as well. The game locked up after the arrow part.
It was interesting, few people make a video along with their game. I had the same feeling as KappaIX... I was a bit lost, but it was still a new concept, good work.
The graphics are very clean! Gameplay is nice though I didn't realize you can find friends very quickly... maybe make that the first choice by default :D
Interesting multiplayer experiment... I played myself, however. I bet it would find some bots useful :D
Very polished sound and art! Not sure what the win condition is but it's fun to mess with.
Super creative puzzles, awesome entry :D
Creative room details. It's difficult and I found myself jumping over the spiders more than actually rolling into them... however add more to this and it'll be better.
Love the look and audio especially XD but the fencing mechanic needs more depth... Keep adding to it!
Fun game idea, I would love to have the ability to shoot multiple balls. It seems more fun to me.
Solid game :D I had a feeling the mechanic would be well executed. Movement is nice (played the original, the wall jumping wasn't awful but I'm glad it's been fixed), audio was cool but I'd like sound effects... but wow you have a nice concept going, I hope you develop it further!
Cute art :D I liked the addition of infinite mode too, great work.
Lovely artwork and music. Nice short little game, the atmosphere is well done! :D
Great models, I really wish the shotgun made a noise... would be much more juicy :D
I died and ran out of food, but I enjoyed walking around the cold area, such a nice atmosphere.
Oh boy was it laggy at the end! XD
Not complaining, this concept is great, I love how my first run ended in one teal color because I let the first folk die off! Wonderful :D
Artistic, with funny comments XD I think it's very well polished, great job.
Two tables to one chair: "nice"
Overall great execution, wonderful idea!
Wonderful game :D so much fun, liked the challenge!
Fun game haha I think it was pretty difficult with keyboard for me. Keep working on it.
Graphics and music are some of the best, love the Doom idea. I must say the gameplay needs more, in my opinion. Great work though!
Cool short game, not bad! I think a sensitivity setting is needed. However, I was quite surprised with how well the gun and shots felt. An enemy model would be a good idea too. Keep it up!
There's a lot there for a compo entry, good job. Speeding up is kinda slow but I really liked all the tracks... and how you could find the main menu on the desk XD
Super interesting to watch :D
D'aww
I liked the art and dialogue, very very unique... Some music is what I felt was missing. Well done :D
Wow, amazing idea! Innovation winner here for sure :)
I played myself, it's a good concept. Program some bots for those of us who just want to mess around with multiple opponents :D it'll help a lot.
It's got neat effects. I agree with what was pointed out by Saiodin.
@xesenix I intended for the game too look more like this: http://i.imgur.com/tfF2LOE.gif
and I was upset I couldn't get it to work. Thanks for playing, I don't mind the criticism!
Thanks for all the comments guys! I'm going to have a tiny post-compo patch released ASAP because I found a way to use the correct, intended GameBoy resolution (160x144).
Also I added GameJolt API, but other than that it's an identical version. Check back here in a couple days!
So hard but so well made, great job! The art, sound and controls are quite remarkable :D
Good graphics and idea but movement kinda ruined it for me. Getting stuck in walls was common from the start, and I guess movement in general feels a little choppy... like I don't have control. The left click charge up seemed inconsistent too... Great work though.
Fun and challenging... there's something so satisfying about zooming around a paper airplane. Good work, I would recommend continued development on this :D
Not bad, impressed with the terrain mechanic but I did get stuck a bit. Movement is clunky, but overall it's fun.
It would be nice for smoother controls, but I guess it makes sense with the bomb robot premise. Keep it up!
Cool drawings and sound :) Pretty fun game right now and you can still improve it. I'd like a more predictable fire rate and some way to counter being trapped in bullets.
Really really different, I love having the graphs! It's so cool, and if I were to play again I'd probably get 30 points. Kinda interesting how the graphs give you an advantage.
You have a neat graphic style, I think some sound effects and a little more polish will make this quite a solid little hack and slash game :) Nice job
Great polished entry! I believe I got some customers that requested room types I didn't have at all, that's the only flaw. Keep working on it, it's great.
Awesome all-round entry! The graphics are great, and the sound works. Great polish :)
Needs more completeness. I think your graphics are amazing but you sacrificed much of the actual game. Keep working on it :)
Really, really fun :D love the music, awesome idea haha it had some great animations too.
Really smart, I only lasted three days! The controls and sounds felt like those of a much polished game, making it very enjoyable.
Not bad! Simple, challenging and pretty fun. Only needs some more visual eye candy and a bit more speed... I don't think sprint worked for me. Keep it up!
The first squad is impassable for me, I even air-striked them :( So I'll go off what I could do and see by moving the camera.
I suggest adding raycasting so soldiers aren't trying to stop and shoot through walls (you might even choose to use raycasting altogether for bullets), inaccuracy so bullets aren't moving in an oddly perfect line, and just something to improve AI :)
Neat idea! I didn't finish but I found it fun.
Awesome idea and art :D it was fun... I wish enemies had less health starting off.
Calming game, I liked the text to speech dialogue ha. More polish will make this something quite unlike anything else.
Nice game, got both endings. I like the pixel art and music/atmosphere, good job!
Nice idea, I think it's a bit to easy to die. The sounds were pretty good. Consider power ups and maybe reworking controls.
Nice game, I like Papers Please so this was fun :D
Awesome job, I like the story and art... I suggest that the dialog can be sped up.
Great gameplay idea! It's skill ceiling is very high, and it's also very addicting. Awesome graphics too.
Real fun! I like these types of games. The choices are great haha awesome entry, one of the most polished and original.
It's pretty nice, I like the detail in the machine.
Really awesome art :D I wish I saw that I could jump when I started haha
Great art but I think it was really slow paced...
The gameplay wasn't all there for me because there weren't many choices available for how I wanted to place turrets... just two turret types and a small grid. Watching the zombies would be more interesting with faster speed and with sfx.
Good job otherwise, looks really nice!
Nice idea! It was nice to have time to think, I'm glad it was difficult but not ridiculously hard.
I'm shocked at how much is completed for this game. The minigames were all challenging to a good point, but I thought there should have been a restart option for each level... especially the top down key puzzle because I kept opening the wrong doors by walking next to them. Having to start all over again was a little frustrating. All these games packed into one entry is very impressive though! Nicely done.
Wow really tough  The asteroids style shooting is not my strong suit... I didn't get much of a good score but hey I might practice some more, high skill ceiling! Amazing game (man those pixels are satisfying), I look forward to more!
Pretty fun and really outstanding, best polish I've probably ever seen in this Ludum Dare. Like this looks like it was created by a team in months, awesome work. I found the lasso trail pretty satisfying. The gameplay felt a little lacking in depth (probably just me), I realized you don't have to worry about catching up with the cow, only staying within range for a certain amount of time matters. I personally found it a bit too easy after a couple of cow(met)s for this reason, but it seems most actually found it too hard haha. There should probably be a mouse sensitivity option in a future update also. Other than that the game is so fun and polished; knocked it out of the park! :D
Great humor haha great game. I didn't find any bugs... *wink wink*
The concept was unique and the writing/ending was nice :D Good progression, love the inventory feature *cough*
Nicely done!
This was a neat entry, great 3D animations and models. I played a few times but couldn't ever pass my first score... I thought having to constantly look around for enemies was a little annoying for me. I saw a maze suggestion which I would agree with to fix the all directions problem. The enemy types were nice but I feel like they were put to waste because the spawn rate ramps up so quickly that I just had to frantically run around and hope not to run into something I can't see... there might as well have been a bunch of skulls I had to sift through. This would probably be fixed by making the gun damage (especially the shotgun) viable, because it was hard enough to deal with one enemy. Nice entry.
Super great execution! I was a bit confused of what was going on at first but everything made sense in time. The slow pacing makes it quite relaxing (and then super stressful when the infection guitar kicks in). Art looks great and the biology included is pretty neat :D
Quite a well made entry, good job.
Not bad, I was satisfied to see the physics effects working smoothly. Good work!
Thanks @codechomper!
@paulstraw Good suggestion, I added `T` and `Right Shift` as alternate keys for WebGL.
Everyone else, thank you and great feedback! Helps a lot :grinning:
Hilarious entry :D I played at first with the intention of destroying everything... which was fun as it was! Then trying to not hit people added a lot of good challenge. I think some reliable tip toeing would help the awkwardness a bit because the very edge of the heel would always break something-- also restart button of course. Otherwise, awesome game for compo, it looks like a game that took months! Great job!
Solid game! Great idea. It didn't take too long to figure out the rules, but it was really interesting to try and play. Towards the end I lost because well, I didn't think a province could completely flood to a deadly level. With some more work it could be a great little board game!
Awesome game! Really impressive how much was packed into this :D The bosses were super impressive, searching for weapons is always fun. Damage indicators would be cool to see how effective a weapon is. Also, I think the teleporting action should have moved in the direction you were moving, not towards the cursor, as it usually just boosted into the enemy's shots. Great fast paced shooter though!
Hey, really fun! I didn't lose any natives but even if it wasn't very challenging in that regard, it was engaging and kept me till the end.
Great idea! These types of community games are really interesting. Unfortunately in the time I played I didn't notice any changes in real-time. I also wish that the score impact of each building would be shown... and maybe something to show what aspects of the city (industry, food, housing) need improvement? Either way, you can really take this somewhere, looking good so far :)
I finished but it was a bit repetitive; I took about 1000 days for the promotion win. I liked the resource management but I could only buy three colonists maximum because they would never show up... some things should probably be mostly available. I thought it might be a good idea to have a checkbox or something to choose the prompts you would prefer to see... for example I might only check the colonist ship if I am in need of them, and I won't get bothered by hundreds of merchants. Of course the pirates are exempt from this skipping idea. Overall, great turn based resource game!
Very solid entry, I liked the use of the theme! Nothing felt out of place and I was glad the tasks were simple enough to figure out by looking around a bit. I noticed that hanging out around the house when you start kinda made me think I had to get in the house to stay alive, because I went back inside to avoid the enemies but then I was stuck there until morning (prompting me to reopen). I wasn't completely forced to go get the shovel, and I had to do so in the second try. Just a little observation, I think it's the best suggestion I can make (maybe make it so the house isn't a safe spot because there's no point in waiting there stagnant for a long night). Overall felt nice and has a great charm! Good audio too!
Funny game :D I liked your humor in this one. Graphics were clean, consistent, and fit with the humor. The only con which has already been stated is the ability to flat out skip most levels! I understand it probably isn't an option to change your gravity mechanic; I just feel like the easiest path to victory will be exploited, so a good idea might be to add shiny coins along the intended path to reward those who take the long way. Great game, can't wait to see what comes next.
Great game with outstanding graphics. I was able to use keyboard pretty fine after getting used to it. The run key seemed odd to me and wall jumping was hard to learn initially. I really wish the slide mechanic was used more as it's really the good *unique mechanic*... unfortunately it seemed like the game was too focused on platforming on leaves rather than sliding into enemies. Also, enemies themselves could have incorporated the sliding more. I think introducing the spiders over a deadly pit was kinda unfair too, maybe give a safe environment for that kind of learning. I thought the boss should have shot some sort of projectile or been more challenging. Overall your art is incredible and I like the feel/mood :D
Great for unfinished! The controls are usually tough on these types of ship games, but it's not too hard in this :D
I think it would be cool to have a list of tasks/deliveries that are needed (maybe like three), and maybe let the player carry multiple packages. This would give some choice on where to go and in what order.
Good game concept, I think the graphics were nice. I thought it was pretty unfair when trying to land because you usually can't see what is on the ground, and more often than not you'll get damaged. I didn't get very far but it was neat to play.
Fun game! Music fit well and the atmosphere was really nice. Loved the names, gave some chuckles :D I liked the dandelion speed boosts, they helped make the race a bit more reliant on moving around rather than just spamming jump. Wasn't too hard either. Great entry to race in!
Great puzzles! The first real level was actually already great, the puzzles were very thought out. The problem I had was how getting things done was kinda too slow and the game was very unforgiving for that reason... it's really easy to push the blocks into the wrong place (at least for me) and then you have to do the whole sequence again. Otherwise fun game overall, and you have some of the best puzzles.
Fun game, the physics make sense with movement and all. Glad that the progression was just right! The star's voice was pretty funny, nice addition :D
Great entry! Lovely art and music :D Like already stated, it's really hard to start out it as there's nothing showing what each bar means. I figured out that the red health was being affected by temperature... but I'm not sure what the yellow bar is. Once I figured out a method to go about keeping the right temperature, I survived until spring year 2 (which is good?)... really good idea with the lava+water and such. Well done.
Awesome job! This seems really simple at first, but the real levels begin around lvl 6, and it's crazy how long term it is. I only couldn't beat level 8, which is fine. It's got a unique feeling of uncertainty and anxiety as the economy/population will quickly die if you build too fast. Great work!
Tons of fun, congrats! DEFINITELY continue working on it! I appreciate the different modes. The basics did take a bit to get down but heck its just really satisfying to make a well earned goal. You can for sure create special and new asteroids or even maps... I also wondered starting out if having movement control would be a good idea (maybe, I don't know if it breaks the momentum). There's a bunch you can try. Lots of potential, great entry! :D
Really great story and design :D
The little books and messages added in added to the experience nicely. I was refreshed to find the block room a great example of a solid puzzle. I thought talking on the side was strange but it wasn't a big deal. The atmosphere was just great, I'm glad to have played it! Awesome job.
Super cute and simple! The voice acting (or would you call it Foley voice sfx) was pretty suburb in my opinion, it's rare that you can tell what such simple whoosh's and awh's mean. I love that there's nothing telling you what to do and how, haven't seen enough entries that let you figure out the purpose. Unique artwork as well! I normally wouldn't like a photograph as a background, but you sold it well with the style. Great job :D
Kinda funny with the results of some cards but I could only get the destroy achievement... I wish there was a reset function.
Most of the cards showed up multiple times but didn't seem to have obvious purpose or effects. Once the entire world becomes water it's quite boring to mess with, as the cards have even less effect on it. Pretty nice graphics though, nice entry.
Love it, there's a lot to it... gosh it's asking for a lot of thought! When I first started the game I was worried I missed a control or direction as it's not clear what's going on... so I had to unnecessarily relaunch the game a few times until I knew the goal. I'll try to beat it later. One of the best :D
Wow really clean game! Controlling movement and aiming shots was hard to adjust to but it's probably the right difficulty. I was impressed with the smooth gravity system. Local multiplayer would be awesome too! Great game overall :D
Really great :D I love the music and simple design. The game gets pretty chaotic after a while and then it really becomes a dodging game. I was glad to find out WASD could be switched to movement. I don't think there's anything wrong with it, other than it being short on content and enemies (like with most jam games). Lots of fun, good job!
Great idea, it could work well with two player modes. The concept of choosing the planet combinations (along with actually unique planet traits) really helped the game, good job there! I just thought it was so fast at some points that trying to block the ball was pointless haha. Pluto was quite funny as well :D
I'm disappointed I couldn't beat it... the elevator was too restricting in movement. The laser things were interesting and looked good. The crescent enemies felt odd because it seemed like it didn't matter where they were facing. The projectiles looked similar to the enemies themselves. I thought the dialogue was alright but it just didn't seem like the characters were authentic; all the jokes felt slightly out of place. The mechanics were really nice but a bit buggy, I got caught on the walls a few times. Cool game anyways, good work!
Good entry. I like the attention given to AI as well as local multiplayer. The graphics fit the game as well. As stated before, the game allows spamming to be effective, perhaps it would make a more interesting game if shooting had much more cooldown, and maybe if there was a melee attack? There's lots to improve with it, but overall there's still fun in it!
Great game, great pseudo-3D concept. The colors were well organized to make everything visible while keeping the aesthetic :D I can only say that I got to the boss twice but died pretty easily, I just didn't get the timing down. I hope you consider checkpoints! Nice entry!
Nice entry! The sounds might have been surprising but they were pretty funny and not too loud. Great job making a solid Tower Defense, only a few features are missing like showing tower ranges, damage output, and gold output. Honestly I couldn't tell exactly how the gold mines impacted my income, so I didn't understand why they were so expensive. That made it hard to manage the balance between gold and arrow towers. Still just a minor problem.
I like the idea and heart put into it :grinning:
I couldn't finish it, not because of the the hunger/thirst/health timers, I just didn't know how to get iron or gold... first I thought you had to find each somewhere on the planet (getting stuck numerous times along the way)... soon I picked up everything and found nothing.
But then I figured out there was a crafting and inventory menu in the corner! It was too late after I picked up all the rocks and ice... it seems like there's no way to craft from your inventory? Then what's the point of the inventory? I highly recommend sorting that out first. Additionally, the problem of getting stuck/stopped can probably be fixed by keeping the player from colliding with the moving animals and such. I was still pretty engaged with exploring the planet! All in all good job making a game!
Great entry! It was super polished which is great, art looked very satisfying too. My only wish *was* that the gravitational bullets mechanic was used in a way that would force you to use the jetpack... this was until I realized you fixed it in the updated version, nice! Now you can create additional enemy types; maybe something that hovers in space. Keep working on it! :D
I think it's kinda bugged for me since the screen didn't really scroll. Not sure of all the controls either. What I did learn to do was really funny though, jumping to dodge that darn bear was interesting with the hail of bird poo.
You have done a great job in the art area... it's actually quite a lot done for the time period. Don't be discouraged about not finishing, there's always next time :D I hope you might try and finish the game in the future (the direction you were going seems very promising).
Good concept, I had fun playing it... at first I thought it was going to be really easy as long as the slimes survived but then the rabbits suddenly all died (probably rhinos). The shooting sound was a bit too loud but I still liked the game and it's objective. Great job!
Wow great first jam! The art and style is pretty satisfying, and I like the simplicity. The difficulty of the last level was surprising, but it was reasonably possible after a couple of tries. Overall the game plays and looks good :D
Great job! Probably the has some some of the best music so far in this Jam. I really dig the feel. The simplicity made it pretty easy to pick up too (though it was hard not to mess up). A song timer would be helpful, and although the screen shake was good, it hard to recover from mistakes due to the intensity of it. Well done, rhythm games are always neat!
I got through the first level but then got stuck... most of the time I lost from bumping into people when I wasn't near them. Maybe check the collisions. Otherwise good idea and nice art!
Great old school feel. The music fits well and I like the exploration... though it was pretty hard for me. I wished there were some hit sounds and maybe a bigger text feed. Pretty cool game though :D
Solid game :D I was glad dialogue could be sped up. The humor was pretty finely tuned (not trying too hard), which is awesome! I thought it was clever. Huge fan of the music, it fits well and set the moods of each scene. Great job!
Good job! It works really well, I seemed to go through the coins a few times while jumping, not sure why. I gave up with trying to get all the coins fast enough... but hey it kept me playing a bit longer.
I must admit I wasn't expecting this game to be so good! It has one of the best old school vibes from perhaps any LD game I can remember, great aesthetics and colors. Really great simplicity and fun levels... although I kept thinking I was going somewhere secret when going downwards. I think the sprite kinda makes the player seem like he's moonwalking (in the air) or facing the other way when not walking. It just looked a little strange to me at first... but hey this was quite a unique game here :D Good luck on expanding it!
Very great entry! I didn't realize the little pellets were there at first, since they blend in a little too well haha. Graphics were super polished and I like how the music would change. The AI was kinda easy once I got the hang of it... is green supposed to be the best AI? Great job making this I wish I had someone to play multiplayer with!
It wasn't too bad, I just wish there was more purpose to everything. Key movement would have been nice, I wish I could heal, and it would have been more engaging if there were other ways to get around enemies rather than just wildly strafing. I liked the music and focus, though, keep it up!
The game has a lot of potential with it's simplicity... it's pretty fun already! WASD controls would do lots for movement, and well it sure did get hard to click so much but there's not much of a way around that. I was disappointed that power ups were kinda rare for me, and I wish there were more special/useful power ups... autofire, different gun types, slow down time? More enemy types are of course another feature to consider. With WASD controls and more frequent power ups, the player would be more encouraged to move around and shoot in a more engaging way... right now since power ups aren't frequent (and also are hard to notice), the best thing to do is sit still and click away
Great work and best of luck on improving it!
Pretty great and interesting art (awesome colors). The sounds were pretty nice and I liked where the game was going but it was unfortunately cut super short... I hope it's addressed in a post mortem. Great concept and idea, lots of potential!
Pretty good and funny entry :D
I love the voices and the little end screen thing. Achievements were a good surprise as well, at first I must say I didn't know why I was being called an introvert out of nowhere haha. If I were to suggest something it would be to make the achievement boxes less obstructing... otherwise the game is well executed.
Awesome work, I kept playing to see what each tribe tended to do... it was fun to experiment! Reading upside-down text was kinda odd but wasn't distracting. I hope you expand on it... super original and fun!
Awesome! I adore the pixel art and music choice, really nice job. The idea to change the bullet path is quite unique and cool, but at first it's a little hard to control the flare while worrying about enemies. I think letting the game go in slow-mo for the path-setting would be an interesting dynamic... maybe put the flare on cooldown so it can't be abused for the slow-motion. Really cool otherwise, good luck on taking it to the next level!
Not bad, I think the graphics and feel were good except for a few distractions; next time you should make use of animations, better turning (I would have preferred mouse look), and more polish. Nice little fetching game otherwise. Keep it up!
Looks great and isn't slow in browser for me, nice work there! The game was too difficult, but I acknowledge it's pretty hard to set the amount of turning control and such *just right*... checkpoints would help a lot (unless I just didn't reach any ) Nice game!
Kept me playing for quite a while. Sadly I had to give up as all my time only yielded about 100 gold... I didn't get how quality was affecting anything and how to improve quality for anything after wheat. It was kinda hard to see at night, and I didn't realize I could press space next to the house until later. Good job though, very relaxing!
Nice job! Creative mix of turn-based strategy and RPG. The cursor was pretty nice, it keeps the focus on the stat building. I think the game over screen must have a list of your stats though (enemies slain, level reached, total exp, etc.)! It was pretty hard when ants started spawning, I wonder how many enemies I didn't see. @automatonvx is onto something with mobile; I would totally play it you span out the game (more long-term). Well done!
Nice experiment here, great retro feel and music. I had the exact problem as @undefinist, and the game was pretty limited in gameplay, but the art was still impressive. Well done.
It has pretty good art and music for compo, though I would prefer WASD movement over the left click... nice idea and game anyways!
Funny idea! Smart game and the art was very nice... it's hard to keep up with  Gotta love puppers
So much adrenaline! Awesome. The juiciness is superb and it got really intense right around the third night (in a fun way) :D
It did take me a bit to figure out that the rocks were needed (I think some particle effect would help show that you're mining it) and the first set of felt very strong with 3 hp. Also I noticed that once one enemy gets down in the heart area it forces you to go down and spam everything with shots down there until the night ends. Those were the only complaints, overall it felt very awesome! Good job!
I only seemed to be able to interact with the grid when my mouse was near certain edges of the screen, maybe something's blocking a raycast? I couldn't figure out how to place blocks either.
Hey great entry! Surprisingly funny to play, on the rock tower I even clipped through the ground about an inch  which would have been bad if this wasn't a physics game. I liked what you did do with the sound, though obviously it felt kinda quiet. And wow there were a lot of varied levels, good job! The arrangement of the levels and plants/rocks and such seemed like it would have taken lots of attention. Truly eleg-*ant* (I'm sorry I had to)
Nice game, surprisingly normal was easy and extreme killed me in seconds. I used v1.1 I believe.
I have a few suggestions for you... The drones flying just over the player quickly was quite annoying, maybe make sure the drones hover a distance away so it's possible to see them and shoot them. Also, many things control-wise were a little buggy feeling in my opinion; zooming felt odd as it sort of flickered the FOV, footsteps sounded inconsistent... In fact zooming was pointless as projectiles flew too slowly. The map was way too big for the projectiles used in game, raycasts would have been better for picking off distant enemies.
All in all the island looks good and the art and sound design is pretty great for jam! Good work.
Very fun idea! Kept me engaged for a long time. I wasn't sure why but the "premium lock" said I had incorrect width or height even though I tried most sizes. It was a great game nevertheless, well done.
Thanks @cppchriscpp ! You're right about that bug, I found it this morning but didn't have time to fix it up until now.
The physics ragdolls are very impressive... ragdolls are tough to get working as it is! More tools and weapons to mess around with would be something to add in the future. This is probably one of the most technically advanced entries, congrats!
This is really awesome looking, congrats on the look. The platforming physics, as stated, need work, and the game was a bit unforgiving for me after getting the carpet and trying to get around the spikes without falling off (but was that a challenge route? I couldn't tell). Really cool entry other than that, outstanding work.
Those sounds are so satisfying oh man
Awesome idea and execution, lots of fun. Well done!
It's super cool that this is a NES game, I wish I had the hardware! The puzzles were pretty fun too, it's rare to see levels with as much thought put into them as these. Great job.
Good work, feels polished and clean without anything unnecessary. I wish I had someone to play with. Putting announcer sounds in there is pretty cool too, keep it up!
Great work on polishing this, it looks incredible. I can't recall a more clean entry.
Now I should mention that at first, I didn't realize the scarf was shrinking, so it surprised me when it disappeared. I also noticed at one of the last few precise platform jumps, the camera would shift back towards the right, almost in mid-air, making the jump a bit easy to miss and fall. I suggest to re-arrange that moment... but other than those minor troubles, it was super high quality, good job!
Good work on putting something out there for your first time! It's always rough, especially with scope; I still overestimate how much I can complete in a weekend. Anyways, I thought the platforming was fine when not on slopes. The music sounded cool too. I will follow you and look forward to your next games!
Good entry! I found that the line fired from the gun sometimes went in a different direction than towards the mouse... wasn't sure why.
Some suggestions to make this special: enemy (fast/slow/projectile/weak) types, more polish on the movement, perhaps some ammo resource to worry about. Congrats on completing the jam nevertheless!
I enjoyed playing... the visuals are quite impressive. The next thing to add is most likely some upgrade system to use that currency on! Anyways, good work.
Cool game, I like the hopping idea. The environment was especially polished. I wish there were some gun effects, like muzzle flashes or lines.
Other than that, good job on getting this much done in the time frame. The death animations were hilarious too.
Very pleasing game to play, I got better with little practice! The scoreboard kept me from giving up. Your take on the theme is pretty cool too. Great job on making a fantastically optimized game.
@woofdog99 Sorry about the performance issue, I added a fix to the HTML build with a quality selection button in the top right of the screen. I hope that fixes the issue!
@c0d3d Thanks for your feedback! I completely agree with you that the game is on the confusing side, I didn't have a lot of time to reduce the complexity before the deadline unfortunately. It ended up being like a tough puzzle game for me, even when I knew all the rules and mechanics. I will add notes to the description for future players. Thanks for giving it a try!
Solid use of the theme, and the use of the palette in the art looks incredible. Good work!
Great *art*! (un-ironically)
But really, I had fun playing. The movement is very responsive and the rounds are just the right length.
Very cool game, the skeleton models and animations are great! I would have to say that it was too easy to lead a skeleton train and endlessly shoot the group until they all died. There's a lot of ways to fix that but otherwise it was a neat entry! Finger guns are a huge plus.
Really neat mood, I liked the music and punchy sound effects. The autopilot mode was a great extra touch. Nice work overall!
Nice job on the feel, I'm impressed by the mix ups in the coin timing. Super satisfying to play, and solid style too.
Only thing I can say is that it seemed hard to judge the speed of the coin as time progressed due to the dark space parallax. But perhaps that's not a bad way to increase the difficulty curve. Great entry.
Man, this is hilarious. I became very invested in the story, great job!
Some of the best art and music I've seen, great job! Combat and UI probably needed more feedback sounds and effects, but other than that it's amazing!
Great enemy variation, it really makes it special. All I have to say is that money soon became scarce, even with making few mistakes. It's better than it being too easy though. I like the variation in the shop as well, most people would neglect that.
Nice job overall.
Pretty fun! I liked the ring effect and sound, that was a great touch. Great job!
Very original board game concept. I was also lost at the start, I got the hang of it soon enough. A few simple mechanics go a long way!
Pretty cool looking entry! I think one piece of feedback I can give is that the audio might have peaked a little bit, sounding a bit too loud when boosting especially. And the camera was a little difficult to orient for me, maybe a field of view setting would help?
Not sure how to play with keyboard? Is there keyboard support?
Thanks for the controls! Played it and survived 40 seconds. Thought it was pretty fun and well balanced. The screen shake made it a tiny bit hard to see things well. Other than that awesome work
We forgot to mark the itch page as public, thank you for commenting! Should be fixed now
wait you can rotate blocks?!? (great game btw)
That was super fun, I played two long-ish runs and was pretty engaged! Best time was 302 seconds. Loop Hero inspiration is clear but still feels like its own thing with the unique pace of the walking/stopping/running. Awesome entry
Really cool entry, have to say I did break the game my first try. Expected an exploration game, so I just kept building out two ice cubes and then was able to just walk around out of bounds. The sounds after that were pretty intense but I could not see anything lol
Great polish and challenge. I found that the way you implemented rhythm was unique in itself, which was pleasing. I think I accidentally restarted back at the first room after a shop room somehow, not sure if that's intended. All in all, quality game!
Quite a funny game, great execution of mixing anxiety and relaxation. My 3 minutes felt like 10 because of how hostile everything was. I must say that the leaf blocks apples would fire from seemed a bit random. Good job on crafting a solid entry.
Pretty cool idea, with more work this could easily stand alone as an original game. The recruit-able crusaders are a great incentive. I wasn't sure if the difficulty was supposed to ramp up with levels; each screen was pretty short regardless. One suggestion would be to somehow give a moment for the player to see each new screen before the team falls since they would often immediately descend in the wrong direction for me. Otherwise, very unique and clean!
