I really like the shape editor idea, thought it was a nice addition to this style of game.
Ah kept falling through the floors, reminds me a bit of a boy and his blob. I must say the music was spot on.
I love the fact that this was made for the gba!
Can't seem to find the game.
Chrome has issues with the https web link, try changing it to http. Music and art really set the mood with this one.
Fun game. Camera controls felt a bit loose, but the fighting was still good.
Chrome has security issues with the https link , try changing it to http. Otherwise , I like the animation...too bad you couldn't get in more stuff
Interesting idea, but I just couldn't get into it after the audio was so distorted.
Nice game I thought the progression of the mechanics were great and your instruction page was clear and concise :)
Tools->Punch Tools->Punch >:)
Funny... I just kept dieing though
Wonderful Graphics, pretty good gameplay, as well. You really established the theme of evolution. The only real gripe I have is the penalty of death is rather harsh.
I laughed so hard when I first heard the "Huh" sound effect
Trippy, great mood here
Fun....but loud when I maxed out meh laser
Definitely pulled off the retro graphics :)
Ahh I could not beat that AI
One of the most interesting games I've played here so far..its like minesweeper but with forests
Fun game...even though I lost each time
Nice game, makes me want to play battletoads for some reason
Oh thanks! Its fixed now.
For sure, Unity 4.0 with linux support and a GUI system that doesn't suck :)
@Jeremias Thanks for the feedback if only I had another hour for polish. As for the screen not being fullscreen, its because I force the resolution to be 1024x768 windowed..not really sure how the text wouldn't be aligned right if its fixed for everyone
@Waynetron cursor should be locked in the web version, unless you pressed escape. Thanks for giving the other link a go!
@dick_claus Use WASD to move and walk over a potion to pick it up :P
@Quentin I know what you mean, if I could have written it in Fortran 95 it would have been totally "cool" :P ...There is an option to invert the mouse in the post compo build as listed in the edit notes.
@teknik haha thanks. There is an Hp bar in the bottom right corner.. its just not high contrast enough to notice well :/
Loved the art style!
Chrome has security issues with the web player link, try changing it from https to http. Fun Game, wish the ball would move slightly fast as it got bigger.
That was short, somehow got killed by the wolf...
So much poop
You should probably put the link onto dropbox or somewhere that I don't have to make an account to download it.
Took a while to start in Chrome, about 40 seconds.
You still get charged for upgrades even if you can't afford them.
I laughed so hard at the ending...probably too much
Nice audio, I liked how the gameplay mechanics because surprisingly more complex
Fun game, audio was great!
No link?
Such a nice art style, add some deeper game mechanics and it'd be perfect.
Interesting idea, some of the levels felt a bit too long. Wish it had a few sound effects.
I liked the clean art style. Accidently hit Q few times a quit the game.
Pretty fun, coulnd't keep up at around 4 screens lol
no link?
Great mood and graphics!
Nice game. The movement felt smooth, but I think the knock back from getting shot is a bit too strong.
Interestingly odd game.
This is the weirdest image editing software I have ever used.
I like the concept, would be nice if it displayed the number of collisions in a corner or had a scoring system.
I loved the cat jumping animation
Its a shame this has no audio , otherwise cool idea.
Couldn't get installed for some reason
This is not the sims...
Couldn't get the ants to target anything :/
Started off slow but really picked up towards the end
Nice to see a puzzle game here
Not really sure if its responding to my controls..
Moved a little too slow until I got a few upgrades..thats when the mauling began.
Good concept and very difficult at times
good game. The score keeps showing up as zero at the end though.
Didn't care too much for the intentionally bad movement at the start :P I got to the bunnies and decided not to kill them though.
I found the controls to be pretty neat, but I wasn't too fond of the instant death.
Music was great, couldn't get enough blue kittens though :/
That was hilarious
Love the neon graphics.
Fun and had some nice graphics. Took about 14 minutes to download though :/
Concept is good, but I had the hardest time seeing my character
Interesting, but wish I could do a little more than just vote on who wins
Wonderful Aesthetics, and great controls up in here. Unfortunately, I don't think that the theme of evolution was well executed.
Loved it. The graphics were great. Reminded me of my ld entry's art,but wonderfully done!
The aesthetics and UI are very polished. I wasn't 100% sure I knew what was going on but it was quite enjoyable.
Nail the graphics and mood!
Love the graphics and animations!
Chrome has issues with the https link, try changing it to http.
Nice game, but the first level takes to long.
I enjoyed this, simple but had a great mood to it.
I love the clone ability..can just make an army anywhere they're needed
Can't seem to escape the arena
Graphics were good, but you should probably put in the controls next time...
Nice, I liked the progression with the generations.
The attack animation feels perfect
It's visually appealing, but overall a common type of jam game. It controls fine, looks good, but I don't really see where the theme comes in.
Fantastic Ambiance! The movement controls are fluid, although the backpack controls could be improved. Also, had almost unplayable fps at the start of the level, but past that everything was smooth.
The art style and the audio really bring the mood together. However, the gameplay seemed a little too much like going grocery shopping in a ship.
A fantastic little game. I really like the target points mechanic, and the music and visuals really add to the mood of the piece. I have a real hard time landing on the boats. Madison Indies represent!
We fixed some things due to feedback and comments, just barely in the knick of time. The golem now makes noise when you hit his weak spot, and a tip appears to make it more clear to aim for it.
It's an interesting concept, just not very fleshed out. It would really benefit from some sound effects.
Its like RTS cookie clicker.
It seems as though the game will not start when I click on either option on the title screen.
I found this game to be incredibly clever, what a great entry!
The graphics are nice. I think the enemies could move around a bit more so you can't stay in one spot as easily
Its like asteroids except the planets are getting revenge on the solar system. Not really a fan of having to watch an ad to play your game though.
That was pretty great. Pokemon-Sherlock romantic comedy crossover was the best.
Nice graphics! I would like to see a bullet sprite though, so you can gauge the shots more easily.
I like the proximity mechanic, it's a neat little twist on the "swp between worlds" platformer.
What a pleasantly whimsical game :)
Confused on how to play. It feels like I'm selecting the right things in the right way, but it only chooses to go through sometimes.
The graphics are nice and the music is quite fitting. Also, Drawing the different characters faces is a pretty clever idea!
This is absolutely bizarre. I like the idea of the "Lost Vikings" style of switching between characters. I got lost at some point without any landmarks, though.
Well, that's certainly taking the theme literally. It could really use some sound effects. It would also benefit from standard FPS controls instead of partial keyboard.
I really like the painterly art style. I accidentally skipped some of the text on multiple occasions though.
Nice game, the overall presentation was really nostalgic. I also think that a minimap would have been pretty useful, but it wasn't impossible to do well without one.
A charming game. Everything feels sluggish, like things are standing still for far too long. I like the theming, though!
I like it! It's super simple to pick up and play. I wish that the planets were more well-defined, though. I ended up confusing some of the types.
Web link goes straight to Github's main page
Fun game with nice graphics.
I really like the art and music, combat would have been nice too see though :(
I like the theme and the switching lanes mechanic, but having to start over without checkpoints made it frustrating.
I like the rave candy, although I think it should make you temporary invincible.
Nice game! I really like how you built upon the base mechanics as the levels progressed.
Chrome marks the download as malicious and won't let me download the file.
Neat idea, was a bit too difficult though.
Love the sketched drawing aesthetic, reminds me of dropbox somehow.
Nice! Wasn't expecting a unit management game but got a nice surprise.
Its like bomberman mixed with binding of Isaac :)
