Come on. I was all "ok, this looks primising" and then "what? one level?" ):

Really nice job! I think this has a lot of potential. The difficulty curve is good. My only complain would be that timing plays a huge factor in the game and that's not good for a puzzle, where brain should beat reactions.
But yeah, great job!
Nice concept. Now I know why I'm making games instead of working in a lab: I had all the cells filled with life forms and then I managed to kill everything in a couple of seconds. >_>
Nice concept, although I found it a bit hard. It takes a lot to create a new one and sometimes the enemies will appear on the opposite side and make it impossible to kill them before they destroy at least one of them.
On the other hand, that makes sense, given the concept. Ideas are hard to grow and very fragile when they start.
Good job!
Nice game, although the controls are a bit annoying. Especially having to release and press the keys again to make the new things move.
(:
Nice job! I enjoyed it, although my lack of avoiding skills didn't allow me to get far.
Really nice game.
My only suggestion is to limit the ammount of pieces that a black one can destroy, because that single thing makes all the levels ridiculously easy, as instead of following the expected pattern (I noticed how you set up the pieces so you can blend some, then combine teh ones of the same color and eventually reach the black ones), you can simply move one of the black pieces around and destroy everything with it.
Great job!
The website is loading super slow for me, it tries for a couple of minutes and then timeouts. I'll try again later.
I liked the concept, although the slow movement was annoying. Other than that, I think it's a really nice game.
Good job!
I didn't understand what to do. You say that you evolve by suffering, but instead I always died at the same spot, like a minute after teh start, just move to the right side and you eventually die.
That said, I fucking loved the graphics and the general atmosphere of the game. Great job there!
I'll give it another try tomorrow. Maybe I'm too tired after playing so many games and I missed something obvious.
Really nice job!
I love TDs, and one thing that I always have in mind while playing one is "Why can't those damned towers upgrade themselves?" Well, these surely can!
Good job! (:
Thank you. :$
iirc, the game you talk about is called Pandemic.
Heh. I didn't know how to end the game, but after a few minutes, something like this happened in my head:
you collect blood + you want to kill everyone in the town = let's puke their own blood back at them and drown them in it. >_>
I'm glad you guys are enjoying it. ♥
Yeah, the first upgrade takes a while, but the remaining of the game runs faster.
Thanks for playing it! (:
Heh, thanks guys. You're making me believe it's not total garbage. :$
<3
Thanks for the feedback. (:
I got a bit nervous because of the deadline (it's my first LD) and started coding without a solid idea of what I wanted to accomplish, just to save time. Now I know that's a bad idea. >_>
I wanted to make a short game, but never expected it to lack so much. Now that I can think clearly, I think I could've implemented some sort of tentacles that you could control with your mouse or something like that.
But well, too late for that. d:
If you have enough blood, you can click on an upgrade to evolve your minions.
The tutorial at the beginning of the game explains that.
Please include WASD controls.
Really nice work!
Yeah, that sign is counterproductive:
- "You will get stuck"
- "Nah, I'll find a way out."
...
>_>... *stuck*
The starting song was a nice addition. It made me smile. (:
I liked the concept, although I wasn't able to finish it; I had a good number of ants (more than twice the ones red had), yet they were just moving around instead of attacking the enemy.
I tried cloning the few ones who dared to go to the enemy base, but that didn't seem to change the behaviour.
Interesting concept nontheless. Nice job!
A bit slow, but that's fine; who has time to optimise when you have 48 hours to make a game?
I liked the concept, although the size of the tree pictures at the top was annoying while trying to figuro out which one to use. Thumbnails which expand on mouse over would be great.
I think it's a really nice implementation of the theme, and a really nice job, being your first HTML5 game.
Well done! (:
Nice concept. (:
I enjoeyed it, although eventually got frustrated because it seems I'd be a terrible species designer, as I just kept failing over and over. >_>
Th only bad thing is that sometimes, after evolving, the thing will be launched at one of the edges and it will evolve again (in a way that you don't want it to) or die.
Also, don't forget to include WASD controls whenever there's arrow keys movement.
Nice game. It's true that you have to grind, but that's only annoying during the first few generations. Once you start rocking, you can't even consider it grinding, since everytime you reach new places.
I escaped in 15 generations. That's acceptable grinding, and given that there's a single level, I feel it was the right choice.
Nice game!
Really nice concept. This surely deserves some 5 stars in various categories.
I really enjoyed it and I think it has tons of potential.
btw, what's the third stat? I had most at high levels and that one remained at 0 and I was never able to figure out how to increase it.
Good job!
Nice approach to the theme.
A bit hard to understand at first, but once you figure it out, it gets really interesting.
Ok, that was weird.
Translation: Five innovation stars. >_>
Dude, this is amazing!
Click, right-click, space... non-stop action.
At first I thought you needed some sort of South Korean micro management abilities, until I saw that you could clone the guys, then I just secured an area and started amazing huge groups of pink guys (who eventually turned yellow after a bunch of generations).
At the end I controled the whole map and had a bunch of guys camping outside of the central spawn point.
Really fun game. The first one I'm giving 5 stars. (:
At first I though "So.. I'll press SPACE until I get a huge tree and that's it?" then I laughed when it grew legs.
Funny game. (:
Yep. Not working.
Some drinks + 6 AM + this = mindfuck.
It's a nice concept, although having to start over from level one after losing kinda sucks, especially since there's no enough information about what each shape or color does, and sometimes you're simply trying a random one to see if it works.
Other than that, the concept is nice and it's fun to play with the ships and look for a solid combination. (:
Too bad you don't have the time. It had potential.
