For pretty much a one man job, this game is very impressive. Kudos to you for following through after the rest of your team bailed. Also I'm a gamer, not a reader so I appreciated that you incorporated a lot of humor into the directions. It made that part much more bearable. Good work :)

Worked for me on Windows 7. It was fun but very hard to aim. I ended up getting a lot of points by sitting on a green planet and mashing the A, E, and Space keys. Love the music, and the pixelized graphics are quite good too!
I played the web version and was not able to alter anything when landing on Sunnydale, I just kept crashing...

Wow. This is amazingly well-designed and polished. Finished the whole game. Ideas and criticism: a more rewarding end screen would be nice, but that's not a huge complaint. I feel like the right-click mechanic is not necessary since creating a new link will automatically delete existing links. Nice job!
Love the graphics and music. It's a bit tedious to have to go through the entire level again before winning the game, but otherwise it was very enjoyable.
I think you had a good concept going, but it would have been much more fun with more levels...but I read time got a way from you. it happens :)
There was a lot of spelling errors and the theme was far-fetched. On a positive note, I feel that this game was well thought out, the directions were easy to understand, and it was fun to play :)

Pressing R to reload the game, did not work for me, so every time I had to restart (which sadly, was many times lol)I had to just refresh the screen, but that's no biggie :) The music kinda reminded me of an old black and white western movie. Very unique and challenging game! GJ!

I played the Web version and after it said let's explore this old temple, the game froze and no matter what I clicked on, nothing happened...I'll check back later tho :)
I've played a couple games this LD that are similar in concept , where the worlds are connected literally. Yours has been the most challenging so far, and for me that's a good thing! Good luck! Btw the graphics were cool. The planets kind of reminded me of Epcot in Disney World :)

This game was very detailed for a 48 hr Compo, so give yourself a pat on the back. I liked that you offered 4 stages of difficulty. I thought this game sounded like Minecraft, but it wasn't like Minecraft at all XD. The only thing I would change is the music, but the music wasn't terrible either. Just something slightly faster pace would have been nice. Good entry and Good luck!

VERY,VERY COOL GAME! I felt like I was flying a centipede through the most amazing sky of all time. The spaceship was very easy to control and you obviously put in some effort to make sure that your music correlated with the boosts your craft hit. Awesome choice in music too btw! 2 thumbs up!

This game was fun, but I wish it had been a little more difficult. After I memorized the sequence of the moving wall, it got pretty easy. It reminds me of a game I've played before, or maybe I'm imagining things again..

The only effect it has is what you see. Our original design was to have an alien using drugs, so we just kept it in there to distract the player(trippy drug).
Never thought I'd hear someone saying they enjoyed the reverse upgrade, hehe :).
We all appreciate the comments! The game was designed to have a Mario Bros type feel, but be more difficult. Our target player is a true gamer with victory on his/her mind! We plan to add even more levels after this LD is over. I'm curious to know how many of our players made it to the end :)

Eruiz, How far did you get in the game? There's a mountain world, a winter world, a metropolis world, and a sea world. Each level is connected to the last world :) I hope you actually played it!
You are able to change direction when you are jumping unless you ran and jumped at full speed.
Just double checked, you can change direction when jumping at any speeds.

Great game! I had put it together after the Jumanji level, Patch Adams level, and Hook level, that it was a tribute to Robin Williams! Very sweet tribute, just wish the game was longer! :)

This is a very cool idea! I'd love to see this expanded into a full game. It took me a while to figure out how to get water in the first place, since you have to click very close to the planet in order to draw roots. Also 13 planets seemed a bit tedious, would be nice to have faster stem-drawing tools.
This game reminded me a lot of YOOO Ninja, but this was better. Very good color scheme and it was very challenging! Hardcore gamers will really appreciate this game. I know I did!

Lots of fun! Music, graphics, and gameplay all fit together nicely. Games are not too long or too short. My only complaint is that the incoming missile warnings overwrite the text that explains what buildings do. Also, it seemed like the AI was able to build on top of exploded tiles; is there a way for the player to do that?
