Wow. What a beautiful game! The narration is excellent :)
Good graphics, but fantastic puzzles. I loved when you introduced the role of the 'X' button!
I wish there were more levels, the game is really fun. Please release a new version in the future with more levels and players.
A totally different way of navigating, and tidy audio and graphics creating an appropriate mood. I am surprised by how much I like it. Good job! :D
A basic but challenging game. The graphics are actually quite nice at fix together well, I just wish I didn't lose all the time! :P
An interesting approach to making a game that was about thinking rather than fighting. I like it :)
Really enjoyed the game, but I don't have a mouse wheel so I couldn't zoom :(
I really enjoyed this game. The beanstalks are really cool and I loved how gravity worked around them. The graphics were also nicely done. Overall, you have created an excellent experience in 48 hours. Thank you!
The linking of dimensions was confusing at first, but I enjoyed thinking about it and exploring the maze. In my opinion, it could do with a more complex maze with more clues as to where to go or other obstacles, but it is a good concept that I would like to see explored further :)
A nice little game thats fun to play. Graphics are simple but it's a nice style. I liked the music :)
Really good graphics and interesting idea. The sounds had a high latency on the JS version for me but the .jar worked fine.
Good job! :)
Really fun, but it's all over too quickly because I can't remove or upgrade the defences. Please add more levels or something to increase the life of the game.
Runs fine using ./start.sh on OSX for me. I agree with the other comments that the character sliding around made the game a bit frustrating, but I enjoyed jumping on the green things :P I love the pixel art graphics :D
The camera made some things a bit difficult, but overall the game is very good. I like the style and the music and sounds were well done. Thanks for making it :)
I love the WarioWare style gameplay! Did not expect to see something like that from LD48 but I really enjoyed it.
Very good art and music! Found it hard to keep up with the camera, but I guess that's the point. Well done :)
Cool that I can play with so many other people, but I couldn't tell what a lot of the power ups did.
I couldn't hear any music on OS X Mavericks with Safari :( But don't be so hard on yourself, the game actually quite fun and addictive! :)
This is the game I've most enjoyed playing so far. I loved the level where everything seemed hopeless. With more levels I would play this for hours :D
Very nicely done. Consistent art and music styles, interesting gameplay, good mood and I love the "close your eyes" concept. Spot on!
I get an exception Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: main/LD : Unsupported major.minor version 52.0 on OS X Mavericks :(
I was surprised to be playing an FPS, but that's not a bad thing. I enjoyed your models of the cats and the guns. A solid game with multiple levels and no obvious bugs. Well done! :)
Struggled to find the souls at some points, but this is a good idea that builds on the common theme of two similar levels that are closely related, but adds a more interesting relationship between them. Good stuff :)
Beautiful graphics, and I love the HUFNAF thing :)
I have the same problem with a flickering black/white screen :(
Space should also work. Not sure why clicking isn't though. What web browser and operating system are you using?
Thank you all for your feedback. I have taken it onboard and will incorporate into my next game.
@dustyroom I love the talk you suggested! There's some really good stuff there that I want to use to make my games look awesome :D
Fun and quite challenging. What did you use to make this game?
I have the same issue as Miziziziz, the web link offers me a .exe instead of a web game. I have OSX so I can't play :(
I love the graphics and the gameplay, but the flashing screen gave me a headache =/ The difficulty was spot on for me :)
A bit mind-bending at first, but an awesome idea! I would love to see this idea expanded upon, perhaps adding other objectives or enemies etc.
The game froze after the 4th level for me (OSX/Safari), but the simple art style was very nice indeed.
Very short and an abrupt ending, but actually quite enjoyable. The graphics were nice, and the sudden car chase part made me burt out laughing. Nice work :)
Doesn't seem to work in Safari, but Chrome is fine. I love the look of this game - plenty of juiciness :)
I love the Noodly Appendage as a weapon! The game is super simple to pick up and it feels very rewarding to whip and enemy.
This is what interactive text games should be like! You managed to create a fantastic mood and a compelling story without all the fancy 3D graphics and things that some people use. I got a bit stuck on occasion, but playing your game was a beautiful experience. Well done :)
I like the tutorial at the beginning, and the vein on the assistant's head was a nice touch. The gameplay was a bit bland, but overall the graphics and mood were good. Good job :)
Fits the theme well and is quite different to most of what I have seen. I love the graphics and the music is good. It's weird how the bullying theme made me uncomfortable when I'll happily blow people up in other games... Excellent entry!
I've not got much to say except that this game is really fun! There's just something really satisfying about landing a bit jump between pools of water. Keep making games :)
@dylanigan Yeah, I'm disappointed that I ran out of time and couldn't have added more commands with better explanations. Perhaps introducing new commands one at a time.
@cgriff I considered reprogramming on the fly, but was worried that the game would become too much about typing quickly, but after playing deadarius's game, I'm starting to come around to that idea.
@elpaulo Yeah, I am sorry about that. I was trying to fix that part towards the end, but I was just too damn tired to think. Thanks for your patience and kind words :)
Having XP and being able to upgrade is cool and kept me playing for a while, but it just takes too much time to get an upgrade which sapped a bit of the fun out of it for me. The graphics are fantastic!
The game looks and sounds good, and the use of viruses as a weapon is interesting. As bnhw says, you can just spam the fire button, but destroying a bacterium with the viruses that popped out of your last victim is really cool. Bonus points for an educational game! :D
Simple graphics and mechanics, but they come together very well to make a fun little game.
Looks really good and was pretty fun, but I didn't really understand how the flying fit in with everything else and what it was for. The arcade style P1 was a nice touch though. Good job :)
It's pretty difficult and the helicopter can get infuriating after a while, but the game looks absolutely fantastic and has a great mood. Good game :)
A genuinely beautiful game - nice graphics, good music, quirky concept of turning people with poetry. Very good job! :)
Nice graphics, good music, solid mechanic. Awesome job! :)
I think there's a bug where sometimes the frying pans just don't shoot broccoli anymore :(
Overall, the game is surprisingly addictive. The island counter and the lack of a reverse on the toaster means there's actually a fair bit of tactics needed to get a high score.
Also, jam toast is the least conventional weapon I've seen yet.
I appreciate having the HTML5 mode, even if it is a bit buggy. The mashup of tetris and space invaders idea is really cool!
Nice music and graphics, plus odd but fun gameplay. Everything worked fine for me, I didn't have to do anything special to make the game work, but the lack of a loading screen had me worried that something was broken, but I waited it out and all was well. Fun game :)
