Very smooth game, I like the visual style.

hyouko 2014-08-25 02:08

Fascinating - will come back and give it another go during the ratings phase. I did manage to get a green-and-black box to shuttle between planets, I think by clicking almost exactly as one planet transitioned between red and blue. Bug?

markavian 2014-08-25 02:23

Really cool concept, felt the interface was a bit unresponsive at times, but rewarding in the end.

invictusv 2014-08-25 02:24

Nice minimalistic visuals! Big fan of mushroom wars. I found myself stuck in a stalemate for the first two levels. The problem is that you don't have the ability to flank their bases when the enemy is busy capturing another control point.

matthias_zarzecki 2014-08-25 02:31

Ohh, lovely. Love the minimal aesthetic and the music :)

ultravisitor 2014-08-25 02:36

I like how you have to micro each ship. But sometimes I am not sure which base I have selected. I like the slow pace.

disdanes 2014-08-25 02:41

I really love the colors, the visual style and the music! I was still figuring out exactly what was happening when I clicked the circles but it seemed interesting!

remmy 2014-08-25 02:41

this looks really great, i love the art and the minimalistic design!
though it's kinda hard, i had already problems at level 2 ^^'

romko_pidstryhach 2014-08-25 02:48

Cool graphics. I am a fan of galaxian-like mechanics) The game is smooth and great looking. But, I think click-drag-release would perform better than click-click.

xenolupus 2014-08-25 02:51

Beautiful, absolutely beautiful.

komiga 2014-08-25 02:55

Nice visual design. Reminds me of Eufloria. The transitions are super smooth. Good work on the controls, but it took me a while to realize I could drag to direct more ships.

My usual nitpicking:

- Music is repetitive, but the musical sound effects are a nice touch.
- Ships aren't aligned with transit lines exactly.
- As far as I can see, there're no new gameplay elements added. It's pretty dull with so few levels (unless my sleepless brain is playing tricks on me).

makatak 2014-08-25 03:01

Interesting mechanic, the aesthetics are very slick, and the music compliments it well! A bit difficult and occasionally frustrating, though :(

phocker 2014-08-25 03:16

Nice feel to the game. Good use of the theme.

geckoo1337 2014-08-25 04:32

Interesting concept and minimalist environment. Good ++

micahcowan 2014-08-25 04:39

Good fun! Sure got tired of clicking, though. ;)

tayloranderson 2014-08-25 04:52

oh man this is by far my favorite ludum dare game. i dont know how you managed to make that so polished in terms of both gameplay and aesthetic so quickly but i commend you for it.

2014-08-25 04:59

Smooth game. I couldn't win at all.

soyliquid 2014-08-25 06:24

Good minimal RTS game.
Almost easy, but hard to recover from mistake.

nicotuason 2014-08-25 07:01

Great game! I love how the dots rearrange themselves to show you how many ships you have.

tomvert 2014-08-25 07:04

Cool Idea ! Almost like a puzzle game version of Galcon. You could the possibility to restart the level (I think I got stuck in the second level). Also, maybe I didn't understood the controls, but it seems tiresome to click lots of time to send all your fleet, maybe use some drag and drop, I don't know. Anyway, good job !

nbilyk 2014-08-25 07:06

I love it, I haven't played a game like this before. I want more, are there only three levels?

franklins-ghost 2014-08-25 07:30

Beautiful elegant clean design and was interesting seeing the results of what would occur from the clicks. Didn't have a clue what I was doing but still enjoyed the experience.

tinyhat 2014-08-25 07:44

I like this kind of game, however, the symmetrical construction of some levels make them a bit too hard (or long) to beat. I like the clean design :)

drhahn 2014-08-25 07:55

I want this on my mobile. The controls need a slightly better tutorial, but otherwise I really liked it.

lucienpro 2014-08-25 08:01

I really like this game. It had a minimalistic style so it's simple but effective strategy could be examined easily. Good Job. Please, please, make more on this game, it's really fun!

d__adee 2014-08-25 08:34

I love it! :) The simple style of the game and the game mechanic fits really well. :) I hope to see more levels on this xD

makio 2014-08-25 08:58

Easy and smooth, I like the html5, so much easier to test & crossplatform :)
Nice entrie but i will like more level.

strkl 2014-08-25 09:41

Cool smooth visuals ! But I have to say the gameplay reminds me a LOT of galcon :(

nonentheless 2014-08-25 09:59

Great execution, I love the art. And it starts nice with explaining mechanics.

canyon 2014-08-25 10:00

Yes, it is a lot like Galcon. But I prefer the twist of not being able to manufacture units straight away, that there is a no mans land that last longer, where as in Galcon ownership changes the moment you have wiped the enemy and have one unit.

It changes the strategy, where attacking one world is strategically more sound than do a massive sprawl attack.

If this was expanded on, I would buy it for iPad. I love the visual design too. When I was using the, it was quite frustrating - but at some point I started touching the screen and it made the game flow so much more.

I don't mind that it is Galcon's mechanic, because if that stopped us making games we'd only have Wolfenstein and Jumpman to play.

The delivery makes it worth while.

simplesmiler 2014-08-25 11:40

Looks solid.

dustystylus 2014-08-25 11:49

Excellent concept, nice simple visuals. Interface a wee bit problematic (sometimes sent stuff backwards when a click wasn't registered), but it's a small issue for what is a smart game. Well done.

huacati 2014-08-25 11:53

Amazing game, well done

td5 2014-08-25 11:53

I wish there were more levels, the game is really fun. Please release a new version in the future with more levels and players.

2014-08-25 12:09

Really liked the way the gameplay was introduced - showing folks how to play without any instructions was a neat idea! The artwork was very well done, and the music suited the gameplay. I could play this game for hours. :)

simileinchen 2014-08-25 12:18

Love the graphics, really challenging level 2. Couldn't complete it.

cruion 2014-08-25 12:30

Good game. The mechanics are good although I found the last level quite easy. The AI did not seem to focus on controlling nodes as much so I found it easy to deny them nodes and pull dots(?) from the back up to the front.

Other than that it was an excellent game.

druid 2014-08-25 12:31

Nice :D This can be great on android!

Mezzenstein 2014-08-25 12:40

I couldn't beat that level from the screenshot. Everytime I was sending 2 units to the spot in the middle, the enemy did the same :D

drcicero 2014-08-25 12:46

Simple, but very polished design! Quit fun. Hard but not unmanageable.

egdob 2014-08-25 13:15

Really nice - certainly not a cakewalk though! I'm not an RTS newbie but by level 2 it felt like I'd landed myself in a stalemate. Balance aside, it'd make a cool tap-happy tablet game that I'd happily spend hours on.

hyoga-3d 2014-08-25 13:18

Art style is superb, also very difficult game, It could be very good on mobile.

vallar 2014-08-25 13:30

Well this is a really fun game. I loved the graphics, they are really cool if even taking a minimalist.

I liked how fluid it is to play the game and how it required strategy not just clicking around.
The sounds were OK, didn't resonate with me, but it is a matter of taste.

The gameplay was really innovative in the way of how the worlds connect and the theme was really easy to get out of it.

Very good game all in all.
Well done! :D

cptnwaffles 2014-08-25 14:26

Nice style and I love how you can't move beyond the first connected world. Clean style, but I do find myself wishing I could immediately send all new units to a different world.

fallingbear 2014-08-25 14:38

I love the clean minimalistic style and the deep beat.

sputnik 2014-08-25 16:32

Lot of potential for a mobile game

split82 2014-08-25 16:43

Nice feel and well executed little twists to classical galcon experience. Good job!

jmgloyens 2014-08-25 16:44

Lovely game, it's simplicity works well and it's very fun. It's quite hard though and doesn't seem to add anything new when the player gets better at the game

thedeadlybutter 2014-08-25 17:32

Fun, had a little trouble moving ships very quickly

the-lag-pack 2014-08-25 17:41

Very cute minimalist style game. Really loved them music and colours. I did find myself getting stuck in a bit of a stalemate a lot, but I may just be bad at it :P

clavus 2014-08-25 18:30

Pretty relaxing. Music was a bit dull but fine. Concept itself wasn't earth shattering, but nice to play nonetheless :)

slooowpoke 2014-08-25 19:04

We have the same last name... 0.0 and we both made similar games ahaha. Visual style is great. Music is very bassy but good still. More levels would be great, although the idea isn't super original the execution is great.

psychomonster 2014-08-25 19:05

Cool game, very tricky, nice strategic game mechanics. GFX is simple but stylish, soundtrack is a little to slow. Like it very much.

techblogogy 2014-08-25 19:25

Great game. Art style is awesome

philo 2014-08-25 19:55

Cool Visuals and Sound.

goodpaul6 2014-08-25 20:16

Very nice. I would most certainly pay for this game if it had more levels and maybe some form of multiplayer. Great Job!

bernte 2014-08-25 20:18

Man that is a smooth game. Took some time to understand what to do ^^ Actually I really like the breathing of the "worlds".

andrewjamesadams 2014-08-25 20:41

Nice... already cloning this. HAHA j/k

2014-08-25 21:22

I loved this game, wished it has way way way more levels!!! that's how indicting it is

mactinite 2014-08-25 22:33

I really like the strategy involved in this. The clicking got tiresome, and I wasn't too sure if I had won or not, but the presentation was nice and the idea was there.

tacospice 2014-08-25 22:47

Seems like no matter how fast I click on level 2 (I think?), I couldn't keep control(?) of the middle sphere. Needs more balancing maybe?

Music is alright. Graphics are great though.

foobraco 2014-08-25 23:57

Really like the visual style and the music, very relaxing.

mattperrin 2014-08-26 02:40

Stylish, reminds me of Risk. :)

andrewjamesadams 2014-08-26 04:27

I played this on my iPad and it's great.

tannernetwork 2014-08-26 06:04

Nice concept.

naksrifati 2014-08-26 06:13

I like this kind of gameplay. Had some problems with the controls, always forget to deselect planets, and send ships to the wrong one. But the idea is super)

teejay5 2014-08-26 06:44

Nice minimal design, the sounds are great. I did run into a few balance issues where the cpu and I were in stalemate. Nonetheless a great take on this concept.

badgerpriest 2014-08-26 16:14

Great little strategy game! I really enjoyed the minimalist style. The rules were a little confusing to figure out at first - namely, the fact that each spaceship represents half the ships at the planet it comes from.

jakecoxon 2014-08-26 20:07

Thank you all so much for your feedback. I know some things are a bit confusing and there are a few little bugs so I'm working on improving it, adding more levels and I will releasing it for mobile

moist 2014-08-26 23:31

Brilliant! Sylish, elegant and absolutely addicting. I had troubles grasping the machanics at first but when I did I had lots of fun. Well done.

siat 2014-08-27 00:04

Great game, I love the idea. Really beautifully done! It would be nice to have a couple of levels you could jump to if you got stuck on one.

eduardo 2014-08-27 01:55

Nice!

korigame 2014-08-27 02:08

Really well done! I couldn't finish the second level sadly. It would be really great on the iPad with some iteration :D

hazzahazzam 2014-08-27 11:05

Simplistic the way I like it! Slow pace isn't for me though.

hexagore 2014-08-27 14:31

Yeah this is great. Simple concept, difficulty is spot on, visual style is perfect.

pythong 2014-08-27 16:36

nice galcon clone

sekaru 2014-08-28 01:35

Loved the game - the mechanic was well executed and the minimalistic style worked great. I had one situation on the second level where me and the AI were fighting for that middle point and it seemed like there was no way for either of us to win. Might just be me being inept though.

torvik88 2014-08-28 07:17

Loved the game very much. Besides the graphics and sounds, the gameplay is very very sound. I love games that make you think and i liked the learning curve on this one. Again, very well done :)

simonchauvin 2014-08-29 14:32

Very awesome, great visuals and mood but it feels like sometimes you just have to click frenetically to get past a certain point. I guess it lacks certain automatics to ease the work :). Anyway, great job!

jupiter_hadley 2014-09-01 00:33

Smooth looking, the clicking gets a bit odd, but well done I included it in part 13 of my Ludum Dare 30 Compilation video series, if you’d like to check it out :) http://youtu.be/RYkx3DRuabw

mrexcessive 2014-09-01 11:27

Hi there. Nice presentation of the concept with clean controls. Balance seems a bit too perfect sometimes - I think level 3 just becomes a 'who can click fastest after ship dot appears' competition sustained over about 3 minutes. Nice sounds too. Good job!

vividhelix 2014-09-06 05:11

Sweet game, beautiful and well made!

recursor 2014-09-09 21:39

Hey this is quite a fun game. I like the minimalist, yet aesthetically pleasing graphics. The music goes along pretty good with it all too.

lightsoda 2014-09-12 17:41

The first couple of levels makes it pretty evident how it works. Overall pretty well done.

larzan 2014-09-15 13:14

Good idea, well executed, love the colors and the clean design, wish there were more levels :)
