Worlds Collide: a tale of many by uprightpath 2014-08-25T07:57:00
Move way too fast for my liking, platforming is barely possible. With some graphics and music, this would be great!

Move way too fast for my liking, platforming is barely possible. With some graphics and music, this would be great!
Jump sound gets very repetitive and controls aren't fluent.
Interesting game with simplistic graphics, I like it.
Simplistic the way I like it! Slow pace isn't for me though.
Game ends far too fast, did you mean to pause while in menus?
World didn't scroll... Love the derpy leg movement.
Chrome says this file is malicious so I will not be playing your game. I'm sure more people would play if you fix that.
Simplistic, the way I like it, good job.
Chrome says malicious, will not be downloading.
Landed on the side of the turtle sphere, had a dance party, 9.5/10
Great idea, not executed as well as it could have been, got a bug where two sharks spawned at the same position and they spazzed. Great art though!
The exploding of coins made this.
Looks like a game with lots of content! Not fun enough to play through though.
Ran slow like unplayable slow.
Spend some time looking at the hard control repeat things, would have made this game 3x better.
Interesting game, portal looks, well, weird.
*Jawdrops* I... I... I don't know what to say... it's... it's... beautiful.
Graphics are pretty good for 48 hours. Level design is great, keep up the work.
Not going to lie, favourite game of LD30! I really love it, better player model maybe might make it better, keep working on it, might be a good mobile game.
Graphics did not load thus did not play, thank you for TL;DR.
You need to fix your game ASAP.
Learn how to art, it will make this a lot better! :D
I feel like you shouldn't die on the edges, only spikes other than that, it was awesome.
Great game, great execution.
Short and hard to control with one person, slightly unoriginal but you only had 48hrs so good job. :D
Very, very nice game, one of the better ones actually. Hard to play with small screen resolutions though.
Would pay $5 for a full game! Like seriously, I love puzzle games.
"Your success can only be described as number." Thank you for adding humor. This is one of the better LD games, good job!
10/10 would pay 99c for iPhone app.
I am about to cry.
Great game but more of connected players than connected worlds.
You put a lot of effort into the art and I love it, the game idea is sort of unoriginal but you pulled it off very well.
So you avoid a square the whole game? If thats it there needs to be some improvement. Or if there is more, I'm sorry but I didn't see it.
Game needs source, also consider having a Web link so you get more views. Died and game crashed. Some of the foreground graphics look to good to be done in 48hrs. Music was good but repetitive. Combat was pretty poor, no health, nothing. Lots of improvement to be done.
A lot to fix...
Insta death
No random gen
Stars do nothing
Flipping not necessary
Having to press enter each time
And the enemies had derpy behaviour.
Had potential but you didn't achieve it.
No, you need to re-add the restart button, you can't expect the player to refresh then click play every time.
With more content this game could have potential, but that would be very hard to achieve.
Very diverse game, I like it, buttons have an awkward hitbox though.
The sheer amount of effort put into the water fountain was impressive, make the game smaller, too hard to play on smaller resolutions.
First 2 levels too hard, but great game otherwise.
Slo mo death, nifty feature added in 2mins are what make a game good.
Love the art, you haven't submitted source, please do.
Hard, could have been better with some better level design.
One of the better games, for shore. Checkpoints appropriately spaced, something that is hard to achieve, good job.
Good game considering it was done in HTML5.
The little details are what made this, bread in the oven, moving scissors at the leather workers, lava sparks at the steel mill...
Music resets every time the window focus/unfocuses...
Overall one of the better games Quill!
Cool game, shooting wasn't working. Try to avoid using the word "boob" in this compo.
Game with a lot of potential! Would have played more if I could of held the WASD instead of tapping each time.
Firstly, you need source.
Secondly, the theme is used well in this game.
Thirdly, this is one of my fav's will finish it later!
Art: Great!
I loved the small animations and features (bridge moving when you walk on it, push rocks to fill in holes to progress, reminds me of Zelda and Pokemon!)
I love everything about this, in my top 3.
The base should have some health and not instantly die.
Polished graphics, not so much polished gameplay. You have some serious talent with graphics art!
Please please PLEASE make a full game with this concept, not the maze part, the window part, I LOVE IT.
Nifty little game utilising the new Unity UI, I love it, learnt a little.
Don't see how this fits the theme however it is such a great game. I usually don't finish LD games, this one I did.
Try make a name even if it is bad. Also nice idea, the zoom effect helped as I'm sure it be hard to play without it.
Doesn't need to be 3D, learn 2D, it'll make your life easier. Also nice mechanic, make a full game out of it please!
Wasn't clear on how to gain XP. Also can click the Start button many times starting the audio many times.
Reminds me of my bathroom! No checkpoints made this frustrating.
I love any game where you can smash stuff! I love the menu screen and animations, I really like where this game went, good job!
The gliding tools when you drop them make this. I love managment games.
Items need to dispense faster, other than that make it 5mins, the average time someone is willing to play.
I love the little jump animation! Great game!
No end to the game, alright. Interesting concept and I love your art style. I hope you do greater and better things my friend!
Nice game, the transitions are seamless. The controls are VERY frustrating though.
For this to be a valid entry, you'll need to post source. Nice nifty little game, with the time you had, you did pretty well.
Kinda like watchdogs looking through different cameras! The animations when changing rooms is really cool!
Multiplayer in 48hrs is no easy task, yet you managed to do it and that alone is what made me love this game.
You included a level editor? That in 48hrs is amazing in it's own right. Also game needs to be smaller for us smaller screens.
Lots of previous games on one screen put into one. Coding a pong API in 48hrs is pretty great! Good job!
I could see this being used in schools for typing lessons. Maybe remove "[" since I thought it was a c and got confused.
iPhone app ASAP. :D
Menu screen is what made this for me.
I love it, simple yet elegant.
Well balanced. Just a AI in 48hrs is AMAZING, keep it up!
Nifty little game with nifty sound effects. Work on making sure the ball can't go straight horizontal.
Controls need to be more precise. Player WAY too small, also even the "you are here" couldn't help me see where I was.
Never seen an upgradeable pong before, nice twist on pong!
Love the concept, polished animations, an overall great effort!
Great 3D animations. This game doesn't fit the theme the best though.
Little simplistic and overdone, but to be done in 48hrs is a feat.
If you could have moved a little faster it would be nice, cool game!
Glad I plugged in my controller. I love games where you just smash stuff, next time make it a zip and not a rar, just easier that way. Also everyone needs to have a 360 controller, there so cool!
Little slidey, and had no-one to play with. Love the animations at the start of the game. Good effort!
Nifty little AI running. I could use this as a screensaver!
I love car games, this was a little hard to control, but still fun nonetheless.
Such a cool idea, this being made into a full game I can see happening.
Canon level took some time, love this simple puzzle platformer, one of my favorite kinds of games!
Web isn't loading.
The jumping animation made this, love how you made fun of customer support. It all adds up nicely.
Fun little game, needs a little more, a little featureless.
Quill, I love the effort you put into little details such as the screen shaking every wave, it's what makes the game a whole lot better.
The wilhelm scream was not made in the 48hrs. I'll remind you all assets must be made in the 48hrs.
Just for the animations alone, to make this in 48hrs is amazing! I loved playing with the broken pieces.
Haha the rabbits <3. I didn't really know C++ could create games in 48 Hours.
My favourite Unity youtuber submitted a game to LD! Go see the timelapse if you haven't.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8KblgF8v_c
The game flows extremely well.
And the ink shader is fantastic although it could have been disabled on the menu and death screen.
Great work!
The jump animation and the polish on the graphics, what a fantastic game. Might want to shorten the story in the description so people are more likely to read it.
It's the polish that makes a game and the neon spot lights really proves it.
Nice take on the theme and I always love puns for titles! The UI needs some cleaning.
Next time export it as WEBGL because browsers are starting to discontinue support for Unity Web Player.
Well balanced! And I love the icons! The whole game needs a consistent font though.
That's a nice little engine you have there! You picked your colors well. It reminds me of the old school text dungeon crawlers!
You had a good idea, and the game does run and the fact that you didn't use an engine probably lead to your demise. Unity is fairly beginner friendly.
I love the shader, it looks a little like a CRT TV. The text is a little hard to read though. The music is cool too!
Where does the theme come into play? Plus gotta love the Kevin MacLeod music! :P
The UI is a little busy. Needs more gameplay too.
Too difficult, the gun sound was too loud and the screen was very cluttered. Other than that, it was a very shmup game.
Great audio and BTW the APK does work!
Ah! I can only find two endings. Puzzle games are fun when executed well. And this was fun!
I love the simple colors and you balanced the difficulty well!
Don't worry about the lack of content. LD is for making a game you're proud of and the polish and quality really show you put some love into your game.
The UI is nice except for the rainbow text. There is never a situation where rainbow text should be used.
Your post jam version addresses most of the issues. Nice work!
The hand drawn art feel is fantastic and the humour! The controls need some work.
