I had problems with camera. But I dig the art style and OMG when I throwed the first torch and that sound came out... I felt like this could really be something special.

Top notch atmosphere. I like the concept. It should be developed further. Adding some puzzles and/or equipments could work. The pixelated filter bothered me, though. I don't know if it would be good for longer play sessions.

Great humor! Fun game! However, I found it way to easy to just go right and destroy all the lower parts of the buildings untill you reach Zungo Corp. Most helicopters are so far away that if you destroy it quickly you don't take too much damage.

It felt a bit floaty on the left/right controls. Difficult to dodge an enemy or spike if I got the wrong momentum. But I like the feel of the jump and the overall game. And goddammit I got to that door, haha! I think a compass or something that pointed the player at the door could help.
Beautiful graphics, audio and very nice atmosphere. But that same atmosphere is very deceiving. The game is way harder than it looks! And sometimes I encountered impossible situations. Like a narrow path completely filled with jellyfish.

Thank you very much! I noticed exactly the same thing when my dad tried to play it (but it was already submited...)! The dash actually is in combination with que direction keys, but left is the default. On that stage you usually escape from the tripple arrows only by jumping, so when you try to dash the first time, you go to the left. Anyway, thank you for playing it and giving feedback, it means a lot!

PS: you are allowed to fix bugs right? I asked on twitter and it seemed to be ok. Also, I've found games that made simple patches as well. I'm sorry, but this is my first Ludum Dare so I get very nervous about these rules. :/

Fun game! I liked the mechanics. I think with more elements (power-ups, more enemies, more stages, traps, etc) and some polishing it could become a very nice game.
This is really great! I'm surprised at how much intuitive this game was. Love the transitions and the conquer/spawn mechanic. One of my favorites so far!

I like it a lot! The only thing that really bugged me was the pacing. It was way to slow. I think the screen transitions could be faster and I should be able to skip the text. But with that fixed, this could be a really good game!

I like the concept, but it's a bit confusing. I didn't make much progress. Also, I think changing the jump from spacebar to something else could help. I couldn't go right, holding a color and then jump, for example, because of the keyboard key limit.
I wasn't expecting much, but it was really cool! I tend to kick of people in the rythm of the music, haha.

I like it! At first it was a bit slow, but when a second piece appeared the pace became much better.
I like the concept. But it's too confusing. Perhaps you could only choose the ammunition and then shoot? Having one less step could make it much more manageable.

At first it was really slow and the yellow blocks took a lot of time to kill. After a few upgrades, though, I became a powerhouse and killed everything with ease. It was nice.

Very cool! It's awesome how one monster can just destroy several other ones. Specially in the beginning.
I like the game and concept.
However, I had a bit of a problem with the collisions and controls. Inicially jumps required a lot of precision, but it got better after the first upgrade.
Lovely game! I just think that scrolling the wheel get's a little tiring from time to time (love the idea of using it though!).
Perhaps using both mouse buttons or the X of the mouse when clicking would be better?
I didn't get the "crashing on cars" mechanic at first. But once I did, it did get better! Cool game!

Yeah, originally you had to hold down the mouse right button to close your eye. I changed it to space because of the Web version (right mouse button shows a menu pop-up). I did test with holding down space, but in the end I thought that just toggling was better.
Perhaps I should increase the recharge rate a little bit for it to become less challenging?
I used Bfxr for all sound effects.
Ok guys, I just figured out that I forgot to tell you in game that you can move using WASD or the Arrows. I'm really sorry!

Very cool game! I love it! Here's a few things that I think could improve it.
1) Enemies could have a more distinct color, a visual effect for spawning (almost any particle effects would do) and maybe even a spawn sound. That would make so the player instantly realises that a new enemy has spawned.
2) Enemies should not spawn to close to the player, to avoid "unfair" deaths.
3) The player combo could last 0.25 or even half a second more. Right now it's almost impossible to keep a combo unless you wait for a lot of enemies to spawn.
Those are just a few sugestions. And again, very cool game! I love dashing and slashing. Some of my favorite things to do in games, hehehe.

I think the minotaur was a bit slow and the range of attacks we're unclear. You could also set the background to black and use a little bit of lighting. It would add a lot to the mood.
