Ooops! Sorry fo the loan "bug", I was adjusting it all the time so my tired playtesterself didn't catch that in final build. u.u'
At least now everyone can beat it! Beginning of a new game company is harsh and my aim was simulate that as well so don't worry if it feels overwhelming at first.
Thanks for the kind comments. ^^
I tested the linux build and it looks great on that platform too. Maybe the screenshots are a bit muddy.
Relation of F1 and Russian page are still mystery to me. :D But the game is now on Kongergate with updated build so it should be gone.
Adorable, but get repeating fast.
I found my inner bullet hell fan liking the game a lot.
Not a big fan of movement system, but otherwise it was good and pacing & difficulty were suprisingly balanced for a LD game.
Ou yeah!
Sound effects would be nice, but otherwise it gave goo quick laugh.
I got the potato!
The movement speed and jumps make the game overly difficult, also luck the cursor in first person games.
I would have played more bur couldn't pass the jumps is third room after ten tries.
I loved the sense of speed, epileptic spinning and nauseating controls!
Works fine in 32-bit Win7, except music didn't play but I played it manually from the assets directory.
Love the sounds!
Awesome visuals!
I loved this, I wished you had went even crazier with effects and added sounds!
Educational, but fun.
Good concept. But I found the best way to score was just randomly spamming around.
My cats died. T_T I am a bad person.
This was the most polished game I have played so far in this Ludum Dare. Awesome job!
This would work really well in handheld consoles with touch capabilities like Vita or 3DS.
Nice little game. Could have ramped up the difficulty a bit faster.
That was great. Reminded me a bit from my entry to 10 secs LD.
That was fun! I only noticed horn in the second playthrough so first was quite tough. Monks everywhere surrounding me!
Really solid game. It is a bit hard to keep track of how much money you have and what upgrades you can afford.
I found Santa! I would have liked to have some hints about where is Santa hiding.
Reminded me of Bit.Trip Beat, just without visual crazyness.
Whoa I got my own princess harem!
This ship blocks the view so it it hard to see sometimes what lies ahead. Otherwise super cool game!
Mega Beeeeam! The contrast of the game is bad for bullet recognizing, otherwise fun little game.
Really good use of the theme. A bit slow at the beginning though.
Thanks for the kind words!
Looks like the hard work was worth it.
@eldog: We wanted to do door transition animations but we had to scrap them because artists didn't have enought time to make them. :/
And thanks for the Linux verification.
Die by the swords!
Great. I loved how the hull damaging made me consider my shots.
I simply enjoy clicking the character around because he wobbles so funnily.
I like how it takes some time to learn how to shoot, but once you get the controls it becomes really accurate.
Also presentation on art is really good eventhough art itself isn't the pretties around. :P
That was relaxing. Button to randomize new start would be nice addition.
Wow that was pretty. The gameplay was solid too.
Nice little game. Tutorial is really good addition.
The best use of theme I have encountered so far. Fabulous job.
I really loved this one. It was nice just drifting around the space and explore the radio and planets.
Really nice work from the artists, the gameplay gets quite repetitive but great work anyways!
I like how you can take your time, plan your moves carefully and really optimize your routes. Some random elements would be nice to break the pattern though.
Guile theme goes with everything. When I booted the game I just cracked out laughing. Good job. :D
With better gamefeel of controls this could have been a nice little game, but now it just felt a bit too clunky to play allway through.
Nice, you put some effort to make a tutorial section. It helped to get into the game much faster that some other LD entries.
It is really overwhelming without a tutorial. It took me a while to understand what to do. Not a bad game when you get the idea. :P
Could benefit from tighter controls, but a nice game overall.
Was the first enemy from Abuse. o.O
Nice to see that you learned a lot, that's the most important thing!
Producer: The game. Fast forward button would be nice.
I want a dragon plushie like that. <3
Interface was quite clunky to use, but after an initial hurdle I beat the ai.
Fabulous job with the music!
I killed the big beast! Didn't really appreciate lack of checkpoints.
Cool a game with multiplayer!
It was enjoyable. Looping music would make it even better.
I enjoyed just staring at the animated blocks.
I had a sudden urge to plug in Guitar Hero controller into my PC for this game.
I really love low res textures on models so this pulled just the right strings in my brain to fall love into its graphics. <3
Infinite thanks to everyone! I'm glad to see so much constructive criticism. Its joy to read these comments.
I will be updating the game a little bit after jam and release it for Oculus Share (no worries, you can still play it without vr). Combat clarity and darkness of the environment have been the biggest issues so those will be smoothed out at least. Special thanks to Robinerd for pointing out gamma/linear color space issues with the fog and hoqjed for MASSIVE post! <3
I got many waifus. You have my thanks.
Mooo!
I love the punch in the sound effects. It just simple feels good to press space.
@Decentsauce Thanks! The game ends once you are big enough to roll over the bank.
Getting stuck is just sloppy level design from my part, usually you can get unstuck by turning around (hold both arrows).
Nice entry, I would have enjoyed some inertia in the movement.
Yes, the game requires Vive. Carpet is also highly recommended.
Sorry for the people without pads, unfortunately gameplay didn't feel right with wasd/arrows so I decided it is better to leave them out. Game is all about smooth circular momentum.
StGoy: Unity, Blender & Audacity.
