Thank you all for the comments!! Maybe checkpoints and jump-shoot would be a good thing in this game, but I have been playing a lot of Bloodborne lately and I love it's cruelty :D

Nice pixel art, it's amazing you could do this in just 36 hours. Gameplay whould have been better with the addition of ranged attack enemies (IMO)

One of the units is a shield generator, but the interaction is the same. I will probably make a postcompo version without the two-key limitstion

The player control is a little bit clumsy but the concept and the art style are amazing :smiley:
It's a cool idea, I also made a circular world but in my case you play as the invader :joy: I think it would be a good idea to post some instructions with the description. Also, I don't know if it's a bug, but at some point the pressure remained on top, and volcanos were destroying ufos non stop.

A subtle critique of british imperialism (I'm kidding :wink:) You should go for a post-compo version (probably mobile version), it's a nice concept and that pixel art is really good. Nice job!

Wow this is really addictive, I spent too much time jumping whales. Just as a suggestion, the spacing between whales can lead to some frustating moments, and it would be nice to have a minimap to know where you are exactly.
Really nice art style, if you polish the platforming and add content you can make a full game with this.
@psychead Thanks for the feedback! Maybe been able to deflect bullets for a short period of time could lead to alternative tactics :thinking:
