LD34 — Two Button Controls / Growing

HamsterX by UntitledQ 2015-12-15T16:39:00

Really enjoyed this one. Hilarious idea and in addition to the two button controls, the aspect of the "growing" space ship is great. Nice combination! And cute hamster.

Clan Recruiting Simulator by LeetLeaf 2015-12-16T09:36:00

It's funny to see bodies flying high during a brawl. Unfortunately I had some heavy performance issues which prevented me from growing my crew to be even bigger.

Xtreme Crop Duster Simulator '82 by rjhelms 2015-12-21T19:30:00

Though it's not from the past (but certainly feels like it), still had a blast doing some good old 2D crop dusting!
Like a proto farming simulator. ;)

Wizard and The Sun by HolyBlackCat 2015-12-15T20:22:00

Really cool gameplay idea with teleporting. The difficulty and minimalist graphics reminded me of the first Prince of Persia. Would be interested to see this more fleshed out with additional sounds/music and animations. The theme (the growing sun?) could have been more elaborated on, but well made game in itself.

Crusader Climber Quest 64 by SSJMetroid 2015-12-19T10:45:00

This was a lot of fun to play! I like how the clumsyness of the character movement and the control somehow fit to the mood of the game. Again, this was really really fun to play!!

Lost Elochka by SMASH BASH 2015-12-15T21:02:00

All these lights make that house look like a disco! Pity that there's no disco sound. Still, short and entertaining. Cute ending.

Hestor and the Tree of Doors by Tasteslikefuture 2015-12-18T12:37:00

I love the controls and the Burton-ish look. This game is so cute :D

FLOW by Romixal 2015-12-15T19:34:00

Consistent, minimalistic art style. Well-chosen sounds. This game has a dense, moody but still somehow contemplative quality.
I think contemplative is a good word to describe FLOW as flow can be a result of contemplation over a work of art?
I love the idea that you cannot turn back in this game, but sometimes you have to go in circles to return to your origin.

Phaseolus Magicus by Dianouille 2015-12-16T16:34:00

5/5 for graphics. This is gorgerous :D. But I think the gameplay doesn't really tie in with the topic, there could be way more :D

Growing Pains by Ardy 2015-12-16T16:30:00

Your game is really cute and I'd probably annoy the hell out of my fellow train riders if this would be a mobile game :D

Don't Stop Drilling by VideoDog 2015-12-16T09:13:00

Addictive gameplay. Reminded me of Downwell a little, but this one is more fun. :)

Cosmic Bloom by Suaave 2015-12-17T22:37:00

@Jishenaz:
Thanks a lot for your feedback. I'm happy that you like it.
About the performance issues: you're absolutely right.
During the jam, we already had to decrease the amount of polygons in the models. Unfortunately we didn't have time to create different LOD models but maybe that's something we will see in a revised version. ;)

Now There's Blood On Your Hands by Jun & Pate 2015-12-15T20:50:00

Well, that was unexpected. Hilarious, but it's a pity that it ends so early. Would have been nice to be able to skip the intro to check out all the branches faster.

Are you grown? by Rfdshir 2015-12-16T16:00:00

Interesting approach to the theme. I like your clay sculpting and enjoyed trying out the different outcomes.

Wild Growth by Leon Möhring 2015-12-25T18:20:00

Great-looking game! It was nice to flow (or grow :)) around with the plant.

U.G.O by aamatniekss 2015-12-15T19:15:00

Nice and consistent art style. The audio is clear and fitting, though I'd love to hear the music change (slightly) when getting to the next stage. The difficulty is a bit challenging, well balanced! Would be working great on mobile devices.

LD36 — Ancient Technology

National Egyptian Slave Racing League by Spaghetti and Meatball 2016-08-30T13:36:00

Hilarious game, I love the game mechanic and whipping opponents is great. I could imagine this being a super fun multiplayer game and something that would work well with VR. Hope to see more of it soon!
