Pretty solid. Old good Arcanoid.

Pretty solid. Old good Arcanoid.
Idea have a potential, but controls and level design makes me cry. I think you can make killer of Goat Simulator if you find proper designer in your team.
Gorgeous! Concept are awersome.
You need to set more time to cooldown for jump. I jumped like a mad and made bloody massacre at the end :o)
Snake, Snake, Snaaaake!!!
Cute! This game reminds me about Scott Pilgrim video game and this is good. May be it's good idea to leave main hero invulnerable to make game more friendly for female audience. Seriously! Also, game need more narrative (I don't understand link between intro and fighting) and goals (what I need to achieve, what I playing for). It's good concept. I subscribed in twitter to keep looking for updates.
For small games and web-version better use Unity. Movement mechanics from racing car not suitable for uneven surfaces. I don't know what makes game so huge, but can suggest that you import to the game too many assets or your terrain have extreme resolution.
Awesome concept! There some ideas for further improvments: 1) add texture on planet to help with orientation; 2) visualize collide and move camera to show (sometimes it happen on other side of planet); 3) don't fail game on first collision, say that sattelites after collision becomes space junk and need to be avoided more carefully.
Hardcore :o)
Haha, comrades, you made funny game. You will be executed last.
I played few times before understand how my clicks affects the result. Yes, it's all about blue parcticles and sound feedback. Not easy. My best result is half of house. But I will try more to reach result like on screenshots.
You made your game with Unity. Why you don't build web version? It's much easier to play. And translation to English will be great. Because you have good, fun, polished game. That much better then other games on this contest.
Brilliant idea. So sad that game is too short.
This game can be in one row with Goat Simulator and Surgeon Simulator!
Extremly LOL! Drunk robot on dance floor. Will wait fighting PvP game with same controls.
I like how game has progression by revealing fog of war and new spawning holes.
Minimalistic, but holistic. Why you disable voting?
Old good unltra violence. Cute graphics, fun idea. So sad that there no final expirience (boss, for example). Without it game feels not holistically. Also I can suggest to change A and D controls for strafe and rotate avatar with camera rotation. This is common and comfortable way for moving in games this genre.
That was I call perfect learning curve! Very good balance between challange and passability.
Integrity of game is awesome. This is complete game, not just trying and unfinished experimenting.
Intresting idea, but too short. I guest final word on third guess.
Good idea, but bad tuning. Enemy turn can be accelerated - waiting is not fun. Better use preset terrain around castle, because sometimes terrain blocks fire from casle. Also rocks can fly faster for immediate feedback for player action.
I found boobs on the wall and stuck on third level. I walked everywhere, but can't progress further.
So cute ^_^
Story-driven game for 10-15min is exactly what needed for Ludum Dare. Short narrative expirience that brings something new in you.
Meditative. Fishes do orgy in corners.
Awesome quality for compo catagory! And whole new expirience. I never juggle before. Thanks, man.
Sorry, but I can't say anything good about this game.
zeal, I can recomend you to try to develop your idea about centering camera on spaceship. Like we watch from ground and control rocket remotely. Rocket can fly anywhere, but camera can't move so fast. Player can play about choosing between mobility and visual control over the situation.
Game with strong mood. Short, but deep story. So sad that game design not so good. Technicaly gameplay require to pixel-hunt all interactive objects on screen and click on it. There no progression when you need to do something by gameplay to get new story point. For example, you click on wardrobe and get info about console. Next step - you click on console lying on shelf and get memory how you played with dad long time before he left. Just my suggestion how you game can be more better :o)
Not bad idea, but controls not suitable for one screen gameplay. Also, "one screen" is the theme, not the rule.
The best quality that I ever see on this LD. Gameplay is fun, but have no big goals. That make playing to be pointless. So sad, because game so cute.
Merry Christmas for you, agent #38321! Very good realization for Compo. There are twist with 3D, clear controls, no timepressing, smooth learning curve and talking character.
I played a lot of times and feel like I can play forever. Space travelling is my dream :o)
Wow! I just realized that you are the person I'm worked with. Nice to meet again, Andrey :o)
Fresh idea. But gameplay on screen is boring. I belive you can do something more dynamic and doesn't require additional control buttons.
Masterpiece! It's hard to play without guide, but that didn't break my expirience.
Nice to see old good Ren'Py.
Beauty screensaver. I passed few day, but see no evolution of relationship between main characters.
Ha ha, man, you sick! :o)) I beat the game and full of emotion. Thank you!
p.s. green snake on green background. Seriously? My eyes bleeding.
You can use for your code sites like http://pastebin.com/ and don't mess description. I can recommend to look at game "Gods will be watching". This is a game borned on previous Ludum Dare and good example of managment game.
Intresting idea, awesome graphics, but controls makes me cry. And goals don't clear. I can grab some items, but have no idea what for.
ChaosCult, haha! Tootta leaves is a strong curse, mighty voodoo :o)
OMG! One folk send to me screenshot of his progress http://gyazo.com/11fcd2820e7da526906d8b6a97e0a0b4
I definetly need to make a mobile version of this game :o)
Madball, you broke my game and heart by spending so much time in my creation :o)
Good idea to use "fog of war". On little sceen player still have what to explore. But this game too hard for me. I can recommend to use round shapes for collision to prevent stucking near corners. Also give player little time to learn how and where he can move before zombie spawning. Just as little learning curve.
This is like crying angels from Doctor Who! Not so hard by gameplay, but makes tension great.
Excellent! Masterpiece! Everything done on high level. Even molecat not just decoration and help to orientate.
Sorry, but for me this game unplayable. I don't understand whats going on, where is my avatar and what to do. Providing more visual feedback can help.
Sorry, I can't test multiplayer game only for my own. And I can't make my way to the button. Can recommend to look at Speed Runners game. It have similar idea of racing though challanges, but much more polished in movement mechanics.
Awesome. Even computer have feelings. Intresting interpretation of blue scree.
In my game for Compo I have computer too, but it not so cute.
Crashes on web version makes me sad. Starting by small particle often impossible to win. On big count of particles game overs on big bang.
Fun idea. I know some people like Chad.
I try few times, but can't find a way to win.
I bring sheep to the top of the hill and nothing happened. Sheep can be used to lure wolf into herd. As result all sheeps eaten. Making things not right way is some kind of fun.
Game looks good. Monsters are funny and creepy at the same time. I like games with simple controls and clear goals.
I beat the game. Not obvious that I need to interact few times with one object. But when I understand this mechanics I press spacebar until get result and have no time to read appearing text.
This is a tech demo or a test of programming skills, but not a game.
Not bad. My suggestion how this game can be easily improved: 1) enlarge interactive area of hammers to make easy to click; 2) give sound feedback for nailing board, to know that you click is succeed; 3) set camera more close to floor (at now you can't see details and most part of screen empty); 4) tune up lowest point of camera for more comfortable angle.
Brilliant story!
Take attention how small part of gameplay area in comparison of whole screen http://gyazo.com/9d59e741ba533fdac77515c26926c7ef
No instructions how to start your game :o( I found .apk in source files. If you have version for Android then you need mention that.
I think better to find solution how to place stats in UI to see them all time.
Super! Lot of fun. Gameplay about supremacy. Good graphics. Intuitive controls. Soft learning curve. No blah-blah text. Perfect combination. Only one bug - sometimes you can't see people and zombies behind nearest objects (walls).
It's good idea to raise up serious theme, but realization not good enough to share with friends.
Very stylish. Quality of art is one of the best that I ever seen on this LD. I like clear and understandable gameplay, but little bit boring without challange.
I feel like space monkey. Only do what I asked for. Just like in my game :o)
Very addictive! I wish there are some final goal like extract whole cube.
This is good idea itself to create something beautiful like flower. Not another shooting, killing, destroying..
I think you can add walkthrough to description. Usually people play the game and read description only if they finish or something goes wrong (stuck, for example).
I like your humor and that you prefer to make game with story. I hope next time you will merge your story with gameplay. Because there gameplay is something not nescessary.
When I start windows version it launches in small window. I press Alt+Enter to switch into full screen. But in full screen mode I see text, but can't see anything alse. Only text and black screen. And what if more awful - I can't switch back. Every time I launch the game it starts in full size window. I try to open source files in Unity to play there. But something was not right. I found one one empty scene. So sad. I can't play in your game. I thought you have a web version.
At first I spam Space+RightArrow and think that I cheat the game. But then I realize that moving to black forest isn't right final. After that I start playing trying to kill monsters and find out that it is cool new mechanic. Bravo, you made a great game!
Too hard for me. Sorry, but I can't waste time for fails while jumping without any progress. I like idea of mechanics and rude humor, and feel unsatisfied because can't see whole game.
I'm glad that I didn't close game in firsts seconds of gameplay. That was disguisting. But further I found the interesting thing. But still don't understand was there are finish or I need to do something special.
It would be great if my "idea" can survive without my support. For example, if I keep enough followers for enough time in specific country then it country use my idea as religion or constitutional basis, so they can maintain quantity of followers without my support and also help me to convert neibor countries. Because right now it lose my followers very fast, so it looks like my ideology not good enough.
I see you love working in office. Fun game. How you manage to make pathfinding?
I like your idea of unconvinced weapon. And this is interesting idea to use UE4 for decent visual. It really outstanding in comparison with pixel art and lowpoly art. But need to admit that it strikes on amount of content. Your game also very short. As idea, you could make maze sequence near the final by using existing content. It will make your game longer with keeping main idea.
Nice graphic! Very decent for LD time limits.
I want to buy DLC with ability to ram everything on my way. Because I giveup on second level. Sorry. After losing all my nerves on making my own game, I've nothing to keep patience in other games.
But I need to admit, that graphic, music and game mechanics on high level.
Nu cho ty nachinaesh? :o) You probably should cooperate with Ed Nabiullin's babki.
Can you show gameplay video?
Most weird sh.. shave that I saw on this LD. Genius!
Ha-ha. I felt from the map and complete the game :o)
You should lock the cursor. Look for CursorLockMode in Unity.
I was not obvious that I can go beyond one side of the screen and appear on opposite side. I thought it was level border. And I didn't understand how to craft best weapon. But in any way this game reminds me about good old times. Thank you for nostalgia feelings.
I will better stay in tutorial. Your game is hard as hell, but I love idea.
Oh, those mosters to hard for me. They kill me in one moment. And why I can't teleport to the second floor? If I can teleport through the obstacles then I expect to teleport though anything, including ceiling.
Hey! You made game that I made. I like your feature with destroying cubes. But didn't understand what to do in final. I can only crash by final tower and start over.
Brilliant! This is kind of games that Ludum Dare exist for. I haven't enough word to describe how I'm amazed.
In additional, I want to say thanks for tutorial. Many games there have lack of it.
PachowStudios, unconventional theme reveals at the end. I agree that it's not a good idea to hide theme into the end. But it's too late for changes.
Azure_Kyte, yes, there are tons of ideas how to polish the game. But time runs out. Now I see that I spent too much time for the ending, but most players didn't see it.
Ok, I'm totally exhausted, but still unable to fix WebGL version. So I decide to switch playable version to Unity Webplayer. Because it more stable, works faster, no graphicals glitchs and no critical bugs that can ruin final of the game. I hope playing webplayer version is not a big problem. In any case it's better then play WebGL through the final and find out that it completely ruined.
Interface, if you get to the almost end, then you get enough scores to buy upgrades and make your next try much easier.
Jump distance very different from other fps games. It's very hard to predict point where you will land. And shooting to platforms not freeze them every time. I can't reach even the first star. Sorry. You have good potential, but more playtesting and polish to make game more responsible and user-friendly.
I don't need gameplay there. I just want to hold shift and chill around :o)
Yep, idea is good, but the balance was not done. At least, I can recommend greatly increase "time remaining" or simply remove this option. Time pressing rarely can make game better.
Take a look on Gods Will Be Watching game. This game also was done on LD and after that released in Steam. It has similiar management mechanics, when you need balance pluses with minuses. http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-26/?action=preview&uid=11045
Fun, but hard. My record is only 10.
I didn't realized that text string in the top of the screen is an option that I can press when I play for first time. But when I realize that I play and play with joy. Your game is simple and short, but it makes me feel that I have lot of love and share it with whole universe. Amazing feeling :o)
Great! This idea have a potential.
Brilliant! I also find out that X enables some debug info. And I'm able to rotate body and swing golf club when I'm dead. But in any case I totally amuzed by this game. I love games with narrative.
Totally unconventional.
Looks familiar. Intresting. I should drink my shampoo before someone take it from me.
I like overall idea, but controls need to be more polished. Stucking on walls ruins game pace. Also I like texture effect over pixel art when you in soul. I think good to have more such effects. It makes your pixel art looks different from other games.
Haha! Llama Simulator 2015 :o)) You should implement fps counter and give rewards if player has 5 fps and below.
Using kittens is always cheating. Even as an unconventional weapon :o)
I don't get how to pass second level. I use one pixel for round door, second on floor, third on moving wall and fourth on wall in corridor with moving things. And after that I return to start, because I lose all pixels. Can't find red wall to resupply.
Newish mechanics. I like it.
Yep, I'm also confused with controls. Or, what is more correct, uncontrol rotating of rocket. Probably there are some inertia. But it very unconvinient to play.
Can you make video walkthrough on youtube? I'm not sure that I understand rules correctly.
Moody. But I don't understand what to do. Red mushroom spawns under my character every time I get close to the bomb. And I can't to go away from the bomb. Maybe this is the meaning of this game: stay on mushrooms, don't touch the bomb and you have no place to escape.
Very medidative game. If it can be called a game. I think you need to have some elements to keep feeling of moving train. Sound of train on rails, windows jiggle.
For me it looks like combination of packs from Unity Asset Store. Quality of gameplay and enviroment can't match with quality of spider mech. It looks like made by different people.
Thank you, ____. Your game _____ was pretty good. I have fun playing it. Especially I liked _______ and _______. Your idea _______ is briliant. I hope to see you on ___the next Ludum Dare___.
Wish you luck,
______________
Do I have a choice to don't open this f-king door? Nope. I can't restrict a kitten.
Nice work with overall art and characters animation. This is a rare gem on LD.
Art is good, but no fun to play.
I selected all option for all suspects and have profit :o) And yes, I feel my self to be a monster by doing this. But who cares when you are in the secret service.
Good quality and I appreciate the story. It feels like a lite version of Party Hard game. Killing people just because.
Solid. Robust. Tasty. Nice!
Really good game balance. I have fun playing last wave.
I can recommend to add some gameplay tips for such clumpsy ninjas like me.
Idea, art, music - all is brilliant. But gameplay needs to tune. I don't feel myself as super powerful when I need to spend so much time on single ground unit. And some goal system will be excellent.
Masterpiece!
I will left clue for people who don't get the story. Alexander said that player is a human. But Alexander, Maria and W has generated voice, what means...
Guys and gals, I'm really appreciate things that you said. Yes, I know that there a lot of things to improve and fill with content.
You said that initial choose didn't change the ending - oh my gosh, it means that you beat my game and maybe more than one time. This is a huge progress for me, because on previous LD many players didn't complete the game.
You said that story in not clear and you didn't understand why your are the monster. And I'm happy again. Because I was worried that my story too obvious and primitive (like "this is a rock, rock is heavy, don't eat rocks"). Ok, I admit that I overdone with this stuff. So some explanation will be useful. Usual this is pity when author explains his creation. But this is not a masterpiece of art, this is just simple game made in 2 days :o)
And here comes spoilers! Please, don't read below if you didn't played.
My idea was primitive and not original. Humankind can be considered as race of monsters. Because we usually kill each other and do other bad things. First selection is a part of this idea. No matter what you choose - somebody will die. Or in onther words all your options is killing.
Computer voice is a voice of a representative of another race. Like new step of evolution. They full of logic and don't understand humans' agression.
They are not human, so we can not understand their motivation. They do some rituals by allowing humans to meet with human history (in ruins) and understand their monstrosity. And die after that in a trap (falling from a cliff).
W is a broken computer who supposed to die with player. But fortunately player survives. W unleash his personality, but it's too late. There no chance to survive. No oxygen resupply, no battaries. So player and W doomed to die. And all they have is to spend time that left on something beautiful.
That was my story. Maybe it was completely not obvious and you understant it some other way. But now you able to discuss it with me.
inbetweengames, thank you for feedback. Yes, I know that many things can be done better. Can't wait for the next LD to have chance for improve :o)
Everyone,
Thank you for feedback!
You kidding!
My eyes! It's so amazing!
Excellent visual style - check
Clear gameplay - check
Moody music - check
Chernobog - check
Impossible to win - check
You found a recipie of winning on LD :o)
Funny, but too simple.
Good idea! This is really good result for first attempt. Because you made game that really fun to play.
I almost stuck in Main Menu. You better write controls in the description. Using Z nd X buttons doesn't obvious.
I have fun to play it. Your idea with moonlight mechanic is good. But enemies spawn too fast, so there no reason to fight with them.
Neat art. I like you idea to make game more than only about getting fun.
Isaac, Jan, Daniel, Rafal, you rock!
Can you make a video with gameplay? I would like to see your game, but don't want to install additional software only for one game.
Ha! Insulting the aliens simulator!
This is good that you made such long game for 3 days only. Usually it enough for LD to have 2-5 minutes of gameplay.
I wish to first combats to be more polished. I haven't a lot of choices (gameplay) and need to wait for a long animation sequences. It makes me feel boring. But I appreciate your efforts to make a big diversity game.
Catfish rules! You made a really good style game. And I like your simple gameplay, because it easy to learn and no annoying.
Usual morning :o)
You rock, guys!
Visual aesthetic is over awesome. Gameplay is solid and consistent. My best record is 9th totem. Not too much I think. It hard to avoid thorns when they on both sides.
Growing plant by using two buttons - pretty fresh idea. Irony mode off. I need to admit that graphic and audio is on awesome level. I think you can make tamagochi game, when you need to make only one decision per day, per one real day.
I have fun playing this!
Final sequence makes me nervous :o) well puzzle game!
It takes time to understand what I should do in the first room. It wasn't obvious. I like visual style. It look consistent and on high level of quality. But I need to admit that fish shaped as flying dick. I think this is sorta metaphor.
You have art style, but I can't play - it's too disgusting for me.
I wish I could call the cat, but it doesn't work. My 30cm was stuck in backyard forever.
Excellent execution! You done finished game. It was pretty fun to play.
Era of walking simulator games is over. Behold the era of flying simulator games :o)
There no HP regen before final boss. But I still appreciate this game. It look simple on first look, but it has deep gameplay. Not super deep, but enough for LD game.
Perfect execution! Looks amazing and playing smooth.
Perfect! But Cthulhu fans take all my money to their fan-club. Maybe I shouldn't review every crappy game :o)
It works now. I downloaded the game without any permissions. I need to admit that controls in the game in unusual. In most games character controls by arrow keys or A and D. And I stuck on the level where I need climb on ledge.
Nice entry. It meets with theme and plays fun. "Easy to learn, hard to master" in the nutshell.
Looks really great! But it hard to play without vertical inverse control. This not usual for some players like me.
You should port it on mobile devices!
I reached level 30 by holding position in the left bottom corner. It was pretty fun.
Idea of the game is awesome. But it is hard to play in small window. I think you can evolve your submission into something more bigger.
I don't get the controls. I can move by arrow keys, but I can't grab turnips by mouse or any other buttons. Game looks awesome and maybe someday I will be able to play it.
Really interesting game mechanic. It can be used to make some cool mobile game.
Your game has too many bugs. I can't kill them all :o)
Looks promising, but I don't get how it connected with theme.
Hilarious! Start is little bit boring, because I just watched and can't play, but later it becomes really fun.
Core mechanic of shooting is really hard. It requires perfect aiming and perfect timing. It is not usual for shooters.
Cool idea. I wish someday I will bypass second mole (lil' bastard).
I wish to have more checkpoints. It is not convenient to play hard game when you want to see more other games on LD. I just have no time for retries. But I admit that your game looks great and promising.
I like consistency in visual style.
It was funny when I got bug with two Bryans. One Bryan was used for camera centering and other Bryan was able to shoot. It sounds like an idea for interesting puzzle mechanics.
Split-keyboard games are cool by definition!
p.s. Got the same minigame like 3 times in a row, either a bug or just luck - you could fix the randomizer not to choose last value i suppose.
I died multiple times before I got how to get into the hut. And I died in the final when my house was full of every collectible. Hard northern life.
I enjoyed every word in this game. Hilarious!
Maybe in one day I will try myself in being physician. Looks like job of my dream.
Liked visuals and music. Didnt manage to find anyone to ply with though =( And map definetely lacks some colliders on the borders and statues :)
Liked the music and the bloom effect, that makes simple level so pretty. "Woken up" counter on the cart is awesome. Crashed on web-gl in the end though.
Split-keyboard games are cool but way too hard to test when alone :) Liked the idea and the voicing, nut physics seemed to be quite glitchy for me, sometimes from the objects spawning "inside" the cart, sometimes it just moved back half of the screen, throwing the king out.
Looks awesome! What games are you making between participation in Ludum Dares?
I'm stuck with mother of sticks and I need to eat, but I don't know how. Typical life of hipster :o)
Moar particles!
Perfect execution! I played in this game for half an hour or more (I lost my time here). Advice about a sheet of paper is really useful. Game becomes very easy if you can crack proper combinations for each resource.
I agree with comment above. Game is really addictive. Combination of alchemy and idler mechanics is superb.
Liked the concept and the grading system.
I think highlighting of the current part would be better than darkening it.
Hi everyone! Thank you for your thanks. I want to make some clarification to avoid misunderstanding in the future. We are made this game in 72h in Jam competition. Some of used art was made before for our main game - SMASH BASH. It not restricted by the rules - "You’re free to use 3rd party Artwork/Music/Audio assets, or assets you previously created".
This is why we participated in Ludum Dare. We always want to make a small game in action genre on our assets that we made for turn-based tactic game. Ludum Dare is the best opportunity for that wish. So we are here for jamming, experimenting, getting feedback, trying new engine (Defold) and having fun.
You can check here how many assets we had on start http://imgur.com/a/1PyBi It's not too much. Only few environmental tiles. What did we make during 72 hours? Lots of new environmental assets, including new buildings, swamp and dense forest. Hero, zombie and boss animations. All code from scratch. All music and sound effects. And unique story/dialogs. Yeah, we worked really hard these days.
And now we are thinking to keep this game as the small spin-off to accompany our main game, because it uses same art style and living in the same game universe. I hope this can encourage other developers to expand their games instead of making each new game from scratch and losing fan base from previous games.
