I love this game! Awesome graphics there!

rabbit 2014-12-08 22:10

You web link doesnt work. It just wants me to download some HTML. Might wanna fix that! Then I will be glad to rate.

terrytheplatypus 2014-12-08 22:20

Very cool, I haven't finished it yet, but I know I'll like the rest!

daraziel 2014-12-08 22:24

Though i like the idea of the concept, i couldn`t figure out what to do because it is very difficult to interact with things. There is no reliable way of deciding if i just can`t interact with an object (yet) or if i`m just standing slightly of the right spot to do so. That´s what i guess. I maanged only to pickup the bucket and fill it with water but couldn`t do anything with it in any channel. Iy this is polished, this could become a nixe little thing!

ppupae 2014-12-08 22:35

Thanks for the feedback,

@rabbit The Web link should work now.

antonybaasan 2014-12-08 22:36

My Firefox Unity plugin keep falling. Too slow on my comp (medium).

camdensegal 2014-12-08 22:47

Very nice world switching idea, I couldn't figure out what to do after getting the robot's to clean each-other.

apiotrw 2014-12-08 22:47

Great game. One of the best jam entries for sure.

bcole99 2014-12-08 22:50

Art and sound is incredible! Very well done! I love the concept of jumping between the worlds too. The controls were a bit weird though. It would be nice to have point and click controls to interact. Neat idea! Well executed!

ccontinisio 2014-12-08 22:53

It was a bit difficult to understand what you could interact with, and what effect would it cause...
But all in all, I liked the idea of channel swapping!

p1x3lruckus 2014-12-08 23:01

Very nice voice acting and graphics, but it's not a genre I play often so the puzzles made no sense to me, but that's probably more a fault with me then the game.

hypnoticbytes 2014-12-08 23:21

One of the best games I've played so far. Fun and innovative. Great work!!!

ppupae 2014-12-09 08:48

Thanks everyone! We had a lot of fun making it! We knew the genre would be less accessible and the required play time can be between 10 and 30 minutes depending on if you get the flow or not. I'll add some of the narrative elements to the description to make it a little clearer.

sirdorius 2014-12-09 10:14

Great concept and graphics and sounds and everything!

abdurrahmankh 2014-12-09 16:58

nice work here, I didnt know what to do but I like it

mjspecter 2014-12-09 16:59

Difficult to understand. graphics and animations are nice, especially dem robots!

tasteslikefuture 2014-12-09 17:36

Awesome game! Great atmosphere, great sound and graphics, and really unique mechanics. Very well polished. Excellent work!

sanchitgulati 2014-12-10 07:56

parallel world puzzle done with nice graphics.
good experience overall.

leaden 2014-12-10 15:05

Intresting idea, awesome graphics, but controls makes me cry. And goals don't clear. I can grab some items, but have no idea what for.

deyteris_team 2014-12-11 13:58

Really fun and quite addicting!

friken 2014-12-11 18:45

awesome. I'm impressed you were able to get this much functionality in. nice work.

guldlock 2014-12-11 20:52

This was really cool, very interesting idea. Well done, congrats!

ynots 2014-12-12 19:46

nice graphics...

kualitygames 2014-12-12 20:49

It is difficult to interact with things but I am sure you will score high graphics wise. It's so cute and very innovative. Goodjob!

hippolyta 2014-12-12 20:53

Very nice graphics and sound! Reminded me of "Day of the Tentacle" ;-)

One of the best games I played so far!

aurel300 2014-12-12 21:07

I wish this one worked for me, but it didn't …
I tried both the OS X version and the Web version, both launch and show the little TV leaving the house. Then I cannot leave the title screen… Am I supposed to press 1, 2, 3? I don't have a numpad, and the numbers at the top don't seem to work…

ppupae 2014-12-12 22:08

@Aru Nyan - Yes 1/2/3 are the only way to change the channel and return to regular gravity! I'm sorry that you cant play. Give me a a few minutes and i'll see if i can change the buttons to something else in another web version.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments :D

ppupae 2014-12-12 22:39

@Aru Nyan :) - Here you go. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/66637775/LittleScreenTimeIOP_Controls/LittleScreenTimeIOP_Controls.html

I hope you like it. Use 'I' 'O' 'P' to change channels

I'm just playing #327 now! amazing work! :D

taro 2014-12-12 23:31

I could use some hints in figuring out where to go next, and what to do. Trial and error can only get me so far. Stuff I've achieved:
* Pickup bucket
* Pour water into bucket
* Make robot clean each other...somehow
* Pickup broom

wampus 2014-12-12 23:33

Great audio and visual style. Like others have said, the controls were a bit difficult but overall this was an awesome entry.

shadowstryker 2014-12-12 23:35

I tried to complete the first level, but it wouldn't let me open the door.

kudukuforgiveus 2014-12-12 23:38

Voice acting and 3D were well executed and set the game apart. Channel changing effect is cool.

At times it was unclear why you could not progress past an invisible wall. Personally I could not understand the puzzle and did not get far.

Being able to switch to the channel you're currently on combined with no HUD made it unclear which channel I was currently on.

ppupae 2014-12-12 23:41

*SPOILERS*

The interactive items are:

Shotgun Ch1
Knife Ch1
Lantern (by the entrance to the house in Ch2)
Shelves Ch2
Alchemy Table Ch2
Fire Ch1
Bucket Ch1
Bath Ch1
Roomba jr (small Robot in Ch3)
Broom Ch3
Stairs Ch2
Dark Corridor Ch2

Thats all you're getting ;) ... mainly because if i give too much away Zoe will kill me

taro 2014-12-14 03:29

Alright, that last comment really helped. I finally made it to the attic. The game is a hog, though, so I had to take down the real-time shadows to play properly.

ppupae 2014-12-14 08:22

Thanks for sticking with it and making it to the end. Optimisation wasn't even slightly a concern over the jam weekend, but in hindsight we should have made our entry more accessible. This was our first ludum Dare and I think I've learnt a lot and will definitely take it on board if we do another one. :)

billrizer 2014-12-14 11:46

Cute - not sure how to play though - seemed to be locked out forever!

peterthehe 2014-12-14 13:01

Lovely graphics, nice concept

night 2014-12-14 13:28

Linux download is broken. No data folder.

ppupae 2014-12-14 14:55

@Night - Try the Linux download now, and if you could let me know if it works we would really appreciate it :)

01rafael 2014-12-14 16:14

Wow! Great game! Graphics is really awesome!

kitch 2014-12-14 23:03

Audio and graphics were stunning, and the channel flipping was cool. As others have mentioned, wasd controls felt a little wonky in this type of game, but overall, really good job! Thanks!

tmpxyz 2014-12-15 06:06

beautiful graphics.

papygaragos 2014-12-29 15:16

The web version had a lot of graphical glitch which made it unplayable for me. The DL version worked fine though.

I won't talk a lot about the graphics, audio or general atmosphere of the game, since those are obviously strong features of the game...
Instead I want to talk about the controls and the pacing of the game: the angle of the camera made it a little hard to navigate the level, and it was sometime really hard to position properly to interact with an item. Also, with the lack of feedback it is hard to tell if it is even possible to interact with an item. As a result, I think there is a bit too much of wandering around, which breaks the flow...
