Each ball can have a different color, that means a different value: red(1), green(2), blue(3), purple(5), white(7)
I guess you went over the desired score and that's the reason why you lost :)

@ben_pxlplz, @aare: Yes, I had the same problem when I started to play the game. But once you get used to it, you don't see colors, just numbers. Anyway, I can see adding numbers for at least the easiest levels. Thanks for the feedback guys!!!
