The idea of picking enemies body parts is good, but it's a pity it don't affect the game so much. Maybe it would have been much more fun and motivating to get and discover a variety of powers from the body parts you find.
The concept of the evolving game is nice. Loved the work on the audio too (even if it would have been great to make the walking sound evolve too ^^).
It seems like the exit of the worlds sometimes just don't want to appear.

And I agree, it's really a pity that impossible situations occurs. Since this is my first LD, i'm not aware of how things work here, but I guess it's not ok to bring modifications to the game once the 48 hours of compo have passed right ?
No there is some bug on the level generation that may spawn impossible gaps in the dino state. I will surely fix that in a post-vote version (with epic music ^^).

I may have missed something, but the fact that you can't control the digging of your ants makes the game really boring. too bad, I really liked the graphics and the theme.
I loved the experiment with simple rules concept. It's a little bit frustrating that the Mincertrons get stuck so much in the corners and in the slope.
Really hard, but really really fun. Funniest game I've played on this LD so far.

I don't find the game very related to the theme, and the explosions hurting you from so far or the bullets blocked by the bottom of the walls are a bit of a funkiller.
Anyway, the game is fun but may lack some kind of goal to keep you playing for a long time.

Graphics and controls are pretty cool, it may have been better to be able to rotate the rooms instead of having one room for each orientation. Maybe it lacks a little bit of challenge too, but this is good work anyway :) !

I uploaded a new version that solves the freezes and impossible spawn problem.
But you're right, I made some poor design decisions that really don't serve the fun of the game. The final result is not really what i had expected. Nonetheless, I really appreciate your constructive comments, I think this entry already makes me learn a lot about how to successfully design a game.

I haven't noticed a single civilian ship, so the tractor beam seems pretty useless. It may lacks some visual indications to go back to your base or find enemies. Anyway, I loved the funky touch of the music :)

I found this game a little bit basic for a jam entry (the add of art or audio could be really great even if they are simple) but the gameplay is super nice. I love the physics of the jump that makes me think of Meat Boy. The difficulty is very well dosed... Seriously good entry. Congrats ;)
Controls are very nice but the level design is very punitive (millimetric jumps, timed underwater moves). I really liked the general aesthetic of your game (more old-school than minimal in my opinion). I have a very good overall feeling.
Very nice atmosphere and graphics, also a very funny brackground story, congrats! The gameplay is a bit standard but the controls are good. The gun gameplay is a bit difficult as you see the ennemies only when they are really near you. Anyway, good overall game, congrats :)
This game is so cool ! I really love the feeling of the movement, the sound design and the non agressive game concept.
It may lack a little diversity, but it's a very coherent game !
The game is a bit classic in the gameplay but the controls responds well and it's quite challenging on some obstacles. But I can't figure out why old ladies want to kill you... It's a bit strange :) I think the game is not finished surely because you focused so much on the graphics and the animation (superb) that you forget the core gameplay.
I just can't figure it out what I'm supposed to do... I'm not epileptic yet but I might become if I play 5 more minutes :)
I've got a mitigated felling about this game. I mean, the design is quite good, the physics is quite good too, the story telling is funny... but there's absolutely no chalenge. This is not a bad game, but what the point of it?

Nice graphics (kind of "limboesque") but a very limited gameplay according to me and no innovation in the game concept. The animations are very sweet. It seems you worked a lot on the graphics and not so much on the idea of the game.
I've got to admit the game is very hard to control and is very punitive... Touch two walls = you're dead. I did'nt have much pleasure to play it... Sorry about that.
Very nice work, with a nice inspiration on the works of Mondrian, a tipiccaly minimalist artist. There is a background in this game and I like it very much. The gameplay is a bit basic, but challenging, I really enjoyed playing your game.

The design is interesting, your backstory is hilarious ;) The theme is also well respected... But what the hell should I do in this game? I really just can't figure it out... To sum up, I think the main problem of this game is that you took the theme a little bit more literally. But nice atmosphere et design anyway!

Crazy ambience with almost nothing: that's minimalism! I really enjoyed the experience of playing your game.

Graphics are great, the overall realisation is great (I love the 2.5D) . The game is pretty difficult to control, but this isn't a shame. I had a very good time with it!
Very interesting entry, kind of hard to control but I scored twice, so I feel good about it... It could be great to have a little more control in the rotation of the green light, I think it's way too fast and the "step by step" is to large. Anyway it's a great turnover on the pong mechanic, I appreciate it :)

Very complex game in a good sense but a bit too old-school type for me, especially in the aesthetic & the sound design. But I assume it's a personal taste & nostalgic gamers can truly love it!
A good base idea. Quite fun & chalenging in the beginning but the game runs incredibly hard because of bad reasons in my opinion: the control is not flawless et the cube is quite slow that is became impossible to catch most of the cubes. But once again the concept is pretty fun and the theme is respected, so congrats anyway ;)

The inertia on the mouse control is a bit strange but the game is pretty playable. It's a bit hard to figure out what we're supposed to do... but after a little time, it begins to be quite fun. Nice entry :)

Solid entry, very interesting concept in my opinion :) There is unfortunately a lack in the difficulty... once you have understood the goal, it becomes very easy. But this concept of a flat rubic's cube with matching point pleased me a lot! Congrats!
Incredibly challenging game, very fun to play. A very rich gameplay with a small amount of mechanics, that's minimalism! Theme is suited by the graphics and the overall mood. It was also very funny, I constantly imagined rage drivers passing red light saying "fuck off"... Very serious entry for me, lot of 5 stars ;)

Nice idea, the theme is well suited. The controls are a bit off, the inertia when you move is really important and the mouse sensitivity is too much. Except those problems, this is a very nice game, very interesting to play.
The rope physics and gameplay is very good. The universe is huge, it's pretty easy to get lost but it's a fondamental aspect in those kind of exploration game. Maybe the jump control should be improved but I had a great time playing your game. 5 out of 5 for me ;)

It's very great to take the risk of a story telling game in a such small amount of time. Really enjoyed the mood, the story, the graphics and the puzzle (very simple but poetic and oniric). Definitely a wonderful experience! (I would love to hear some sounds on it).
Nice graphics and audio, nice concept too but the controls are impossible to understand :) that puts the challenge in the "how not to die" area more than in the "how to win".

I'm sorry for the people who don't get the mechanic of the game at level 2. I don't want to spoil it though, so you just need to think a little bit outside the box (literally :) )
Also sorry for the people who cannot play it because of performance bugs, this is my first game zith a home made engine so this is not ideal, I will put effort into improving that in my future games. I think playing it on chrome highly improves the experience though.
@DonovanWu I never heard of this anime so I guess not, the design is strongly inspired by BMO from Adventure Time.
@johnbrynte The idea of level 2 was to put the player in a situtation that he cannot overcome without using the mechanic. I thought that the written hint would be enough for all the players to understand how to resolve the problem, but apparently not. Despite the bugs that you mention, that surely does not help, do you have any idea on how to hint the player in a somehow smarter way ?
Loved everything about you gamed except that over frustrating screen limit. I think that the time limit is achieves the same goal in term of game design, but without the frustration of having to start all over again every 2 minutes. Nonetheless, probably the best entry I've played so far, good job :]
The click triggering move or action depending on the distance you have between you and the object is a little bit confusing. Also some combinations feels pretty random (Snake or light for instance). Otherwise, I find the idea and the overall ambiance pretty cool.
Cool graphics and audio. However, the gameplay itself seems to be just about choosing a spot and waiting. Maybe you should speed up the ice melting, or think about a mechanic that would encourage the player to change position.

Liked the message hidden in the game, it's pretty deep. I can't put the best ratings because judging the game itself, it's pretty empty, but I put good rates in some categories because there is something to it making it unique
I don't think it's really in the theme, it's basically a sniper unless I missed something, but the game overall was fun, and I liked the idea behind it, i had a good time playing it :)
I feel bad rating that low (didn't go below 3/5, but still), I feel like I missed something. I couldn't really do anything or go onto small blocks, or have the control I wanted over the cube, so it's weird. But I like the idea and the music, I think it's a good concept that has been visited before, but there is still lots of room for new ideas within this concept. Nice work

Very poetic and is the scariest "je vous salue marie" that i never heard !
Perfect mood and feel. I had a good time playing it, and the concept is very clever, but I kind of feel that the current level design do not allow the concept to shine completely.
I did not find the puzzle side of the game very challenging, I only felt challenge in evaluating if the cave I was going to enter was or was not too small for me, and then remembering in which order I had to enter the caves. I also don't get exactly what the moles add in terms of gameplay if not some waiting and free tail length. Globally, it felt more like exploration than puzzle.
As a side note, I also find it quite difficult to predict what will actually become grass when the light is blottered.

Cool idea, but I got to the end without being sure of what was really happening in combat (I did not really got what were the timers for). Attacking then blocking then criticaling seemed to be the right strategy everytime.
I like spamming buttons so I found the game pretty cool :) The key change logic is pretty hard to grasp at first and a little bit of sound would add a lot to the whole thing.
It seemed impossible to trigger the Super Weapon in the html5 build, even if when the bar was full. Was nice though, even if not super balanced. I really loved the music :)
This is awesome, the idea is so good ! Although, it feels a little bit unbalanced for the mimics right now. After a few games we feel that the games misses a mechanic to incitate the player to come closer to the props. Maybe including a shooting range, having to fetch back your arrows, or just including a timer for the human after its first action. Great work nonetheless, keep it up !
