I love the art style of the alien monster. It's terribly hard to stay alive. Also - how do i eat the planet?
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD25 → Planets? Yummy!

You can't :( i spent too much time on irrelevant things and didn't had time to implement all the features i had planned.
The only way to destroy planets is to throw back shuttles at them
I have to second the love for the monster design. If you'd had time to work out the kinks, this could be a seriously fun little time waster.
I like the art style. Though, a few shuttles ran into me and then everything froze. I think it crashed? I was running the Web version.
Very nice graphics. It's hardly playable as is since you lose health no matter what you do and ships are too hard to catch. Still a great concept.
art and concept are great, the tentacles dont seem to grab all the time but it was lots of fun when I got three shuttles at once and kill a bunch of em in a line.
monster design is cool as, nice and challenging too
Very nice art, but hardly playable yet :/
Liked the graphics, playability needs work.
Nice art. Was kinda hard to grab the ships. On some refreshes i was alone in space (no/edge of planet, no ships). A 'you're dead press [r] to ready' screen would have been nice :)
It's a fun concept, but the game is obviously a bit broken, with no clear clear objective (I ended up floating around eating ships while the planet near me seemed to magically lose health). Besides that, you shouldn't use an Arrow-keys + Mouse combination, because they're too close together. WASD would've been a better choice.
Besides that, I found a couple of bugs. The alien sometimes starts on top of a planet, which prevents it from moving, and the game just kind of freezes when you die.
Sound effects would be nice, but I really like the graphics, especially the alien. Instructions would really help as well. Even after reading you submission notes, I couldn't figure out what I was supposed to do, or how to fling the enemies away. And from the comments, I'm betting some people didn't understand that you can help yourself pretty easily.
Finally, the game is sort of unbalanced. You start out with 50 shuttles shooting at you and you end with 50 shuttles shooting at you. I wish there was some progression in the difficulty.
It's a good attempt, over all, and there's some good fun to be had with it, it's a shame there's these problems.
I uploaded a new version that solves the freezes and impossible spawn problem.
But you're right, I made some poor design decisions that really don't serve the fun of the game. The final result is not really what i had expected. Nonetheless, I really appreciate your constructive comments, I think this entry already makes me learn a lot about how to successfully design a game.
i LOVE the design of the main character. clicking and grabbing enemies only seemed to work some of the time - maybe this has to do with flash's mouse implementation. also i agree that WASD would have been better choice for character movement.
There was a bug on my second attempt where I spawned partly inside a large planet and was unable to move while a lot of ships killed me. Bit of a steep learning curve but the monster design is awesome.
I really liked the idea and the art. I just found it way too hard and I was able to grab/eat ships sometimes, but felt like I was under attack too much. Never ate a planet, even after several attempts. Good idea, but I'd go back and do a polish/balancing pass. May be a great game after that.
Very difficult but also very promising!
I like the graphics a lot.
