Congrats on finishing this! It's cute :) But I did fly through a wall and get stuck in the corner on level 3...

I agree with Kinzata, it's definitely an interesting idea! As a player, I want a some more visual feedback as to what's causing what so I can better anticipate and plan moves.
I just died and died and died and kept on dying :)
Immersing and difficult :)
I found the sound perfectly done.
Liked it, but if you're going to remake Tetris you've got to get the controls EXACTLY right :)
Neat idea! One change that would've helped me would be to have the player turn whenever they HIT "left" instead of holding it down. Sometimes it felt like I turned too quickly (although I'm not sure if that's what's really going on :)
love love love. so fucking Porpentine it's amazing. which is to say, "voice"
I am into this game :) Canabalt-esque
Whoo, is this hard! I liked the limited view
I liked the mood of this game :)
Nice work, Saam! I did indeed enjoy
Once you release your inhibitions and start going REALLY REALLY fast and firing nonstop it gets really fun! Took me a bit to realize that, though :)
The jump animation made me smile :)
I just really like that you're creating things while playing this game :) That you BUILT this game on your ipad is crazy impressive! And also a little plain old crazy, too.
I REALLY really liked the first chapter. Great mood and feel. Really nicely done there. The transition to the second was almost impossible to stay alive through, and I wish I could've stayed on that chapter w/out being sent back to the beginning.
I liked the crazy-ass mood present from the "HI! Hello. Hi. HELLO!" to the very last screen.
Cute! TIP to future players: Just zoom in with your browser and it works great
Simple yet fun :) Only comment would be to eliminate words repeating
I liked the look of this game - very simple and reduced the shooter to its core elements.
I would love to see this style applied to the mechanics as well- "what is it about the shooter GAME that is most essential?". Hopefully this will create a game that is as unique as the art.
I really liked the mechanics - really simple and yet combined in a novel way! To make the point/ammo correlation feel stronger, I'd think about starting with a set amount of ammo and dying when you run out. Nicely done!
Neat idea, and great to play something finished :) For me, the controls felt to slippery and fast, like Mario in the ice world. It made it quite hard
This game just has a nice, easy, and happy feel to it which I liked :)
I can't run this :( I get sent to your google docs folder, which only allows me to preview the items, not open the game in its own tab.
Good work! Agreed that the game would be simpler & better w/out the dead ends, but I love the music :)
Thanks so much for the kind words, ya'll! I'm happy you enjoyed it, and I'm just getting through enjoying all of your games, too :)
Thanks, cosine and jarcas! Fast clicking is totally cool :) Who am I to tell you how to make art??
Hey everybody- thought I'd chime in again right before voting ends :) First off, thank you all so much for taking the time to play the game and leave me a note! Seriously, it's great to see that people are enjoying the game.
Additionally, it's great to see that people are somewhat challenged by the game. When I was looking at minimalist art right after the theme was announced, that was certainly one of the feelings that struck me. I wasn't quite sure what was going on, and that drew me into the pieces even more. So hopefully you too can "sit" with this weirdness in Click, Release, and it draws you further in to its world.
For more (less rambly) thoughts on this- check out my post-mortem over here: http://www.sampotasz.com/blog/clickreleasedesign/
Thanks!
I really liked the music! The controls were a little too "loose" for me, which made the game really really difficult. Thightening these up and giving a clearer sense of the player's boundaries (indicating when they will fall and when they wont) would be a big help :) Thanks for sharing.
Spinning the arms is totally fun! But be warned, this game is hard.
Really well done, congrats! Only complaint is having to start at the beginning when dying... possibly restart in the same room with one less than however much health you started with last time?
Ditto what demicercle said!
This was amazing.
This was pretty fun, and I loved the music! For me, adding a 2nd ship didn't change my strategy that much because it was too hard to focus on both ships at once.
I can't interact with it, which makes me sad... UNLESS THAT IS YOUR SUPER MINIMALIST POINT IN WHICH CASE BRAVO
Very very nicely done :) Difficulty ramps up pretty quick! Or at least, fast for my skill level :P
Why am I bombing everything??
I get an error about a missing DLL file, and it won't let me open the game :(
This made me smile. Thanks for making it!
I loved pretty much everything about this game :) Beautiful. Congrats!
I do not appreciate the extra pics. Also, nothing happens when I run the .exe
Really enjoyed the music, but it's so difficult! Would've appreciated a tutorial, guide, or intro :)
Really neat idea - incredible machine where you get to control ball, too :) One improvement I'd like is less sideways bounciness for more control
I really enjoyed this! Thanks. I would love to see a few difficulty changes to make it a little more accessible (more simple tutorial levels, maybe slower blocks overall, etc.) Nice job!
SO EASY I COULD PLAY IT WITH MY EYES CLOSED HAR HAR HAR HAR. Thanks for making this
I LOVED the look of this game! I think I'd prefer it w/keyboard controls and nix the potato scribbles :)
I found this game well executed and well balanced (even if you didn't like the theme :) Nicely done!
Definitely was confusing at first, but neat and nicely done.
I LOVE the guitar loop and don't care what anybody else says. It lends a GREAT playful feel to the whole thing. Well done :)
This was quite lovely :) I think the synching between the music and game worked out perfectly. My only "want" would be for something "bigger" to happen when you get hit.
Really enjoyed the music and dragging the little people around! Couldn't figure out if the colors had any significance though.
Yes. Yes yes yes! Please take this idea further after LD!
Not funny.
This awesome. The change in perspective is a really good idea! Nicely done :-)
Well done. Really enjoyed it, and a neat take on this type of fighting game.
Kept crashing for me, too :-( I tried to see what message was displayed, but the game exited too quickly.
Really liked the way the instructions were presented, and the lighting was a cool touch! Couldn't get past the final level!
Good! Difficult! Good!
nice little start to an endless runner! the angry mob flat sprite made me laugh
Congrats on your first Ludum Dare! I liked the monsters' run animation :-)
I laughed. Well done :-)
Error :-(

Hectic-ness worked really well, and I appreciate the light tone. Good music, too!
Small gripe: Mexico is not "sorta 'merica."
I laughed :-) Cute slimies.
Neat idea. I'm interested to see how it feels if the transformations were all time based instead of movement-based.
Oh good point! Switched the entry type. Glad you experienced profound personal growth!
lol finally SOMEBODY understands me!
I really liked the hand-drawn feel to this.
Nice entry! With a game like this where you die a bunch of times, it'd be really nice to have a quicker restart process.
I liked the phone-ringing animation.
As others have said, it's hard to judge the effects of your actions without more feedback. I was put off by the fact that the only women's voices in the game were my secretary and then my wife and mother who annoyingly interrupted my work.
Neat application of the theme, although I found it a little too frustrating to really get into.
Nice entry! Loved the jumping blue blob animation.
I really liked this game! The animation of the bucket's little legs running sold it for me :-)
My one suggestion if you keep working on this would be to focus more on the puzzle aspect (as in figuring out which plant to water first in order to get to the next one) rather than the platforming aspect of making difficult jumps.
The concept of getting and carrying water around to grow things is really good and I hope you expand this!
This is excellent. Easily the best entry I've played so far! Such a great job setting the mood and marrying the gameplay with the visuals and sound. Well done!
I had fun flying around this game! Really enjoyed the character sprites.
I laughed. I died. I was a cactus.
I like this! So good to see unique takes in jams.
Really enjoyed this! Simple concept and well-executed. Great tension between pooping and eating.
