It was a pretty fun game, I just don't think the music suited the game-play, but you probably didn't have much time, but everything else is great, especially the story-line :D

patvanmackelberg 2015-08-24 15:21

Good stuff!

bsoddevguild 2015-08-24 15:33

Really cute one!

2pae 2015-08-24 15:33

i like it! Good job

zerkruemler 2015-08-24 15:34

Cool idea, but very slow start. You have to kill too many slimes to advance. Balancing seems to be hard.
Technically it is very well done.

mr-smile 2015-08-24 15:35

Worked great on OS X! :)

sampotasz 2015-08-24 15:35

I laughed :-) Cute slimies.

jackdegree 2015-08-24 15:36

These slimes will haunt my nightmares.

Nice work otherwise :) It's pretty fun overall!

someone9999 2015-08-24 15:38

@Pixellation Thanks for letting me know! Glad it worked :)

adrenalinechallenger 2015-08-24 17:36

Good job but the room is too small.

elmogames 2015-08-24 20:04

Very nice graphics, but you aren't the monster?
Btw I didn't get out of our first Room and I'm not able to build your first power up...

wevel 2015-08-24 20:12

Good game but a bit too difficult

someone9999 2015-08-24 20:29

@elmoGames Yes, you are correct in that you aren't a literal monster in the game, but instead your ruthless nature as the demon lord makes you "the monster".

Yeah, the instructions aren't very clear in how you expand the room. There is only one room in the game, but you can expand it by using mana and pressing 'e' on a dark grey wall. You can also press 'r' to open the build menu.

Thanks for playing!

Any chance of a Linux build?
I tried the windows build in wine but unfortunately none of the text appears. I fixed this before for unity games but unfortunately the fix no longer seems to work.
I tried playing regardless but failed to figure out how to build anything.

someone9999 2015-08-24 21:27

@someone For sure! I've just uploaded the linux build, although I have no way of making sure it works. Let me know if something breaks :).

Sorry about wine not working. It might be because I'm using an older version of Unity (5.0.0f4).

someone 2015-08-25 21:44

The Linux build works. Thanks.
The 64bit build just crashes, but the 32bit version was fine.
Quite a fun game now I know what is going on...

someone9999 2015-08-25 21:52

@someone Awesome! Happy to hear that the linux build worked. (Well, at least 1 of them did.)

Thanks for playing!

Very nice concept! great job.
Not sure if it fits the theme :s
Gj!

gbgames 2015-08-26 13:18

I played this game way longer than I anticipated. I think the balance is off. It took too long to build the first set of spikes, and by the time it is easier, I find I need the mana to escape the hordes.

I think the slimes looked adorable, as if they aren't being menacing but just doing what everyone else is doing.

geckoo1337 2015-08-26 22:03

It's pretty fun overall. Really cute. Thank you for this entry ++

peecestudios 2015-08-27 02:32

Wonder graphics. Pretty funny!

radmars 2015-09-07 19:00

Seems like a neat concept and ambitious to do in full 3D, but the balance was very hard. I never was able to build up enough mana to build a trap before being overwhelmed. I think with a little balance tweaks this could be neat concept and fun game!

kakarotsan 2015-09-13 08:27

The first time I played it I thought the room was too small. After reading the instructions, I finally figured out how to break down the walls. Even after figuring that out though, the waves are still too hard.

Very playable game though, and interesting opening story.
