Congratulations on your first Dare! Though it was pretty simplistic, there was definitely plenty of creativity put in here! I liked the application of the theme, and how the music panned as the characters moved. I would have enjoyed some ways to get the band out of formation, or to remove members from in the middle.
Perhaps an interesting idea for taking this further would be to make complicated levels you had to guide your band around, splitting them up with walls and such to cross unusually shaped paths, or hit multiple buttons? I'd suggest making the sound of the complete band a little less harsh though, to stop players throwing them off a cliff to quiet things down a little!
Not much of a game, but an interesting and innovative concept. I really wish there was more gameplay in it, as I feel this could be a very fun game.

Loved that the music actually changed depends on what part of the band you throw over the cliff. As an idea, a win or lose condition like "kill all trumpet players" would be cool.
It's simple! But i love it for that!
Congrats on your first LD. I like the idea and really think it could turn into a really fun puzzle game. The idea behind the game is really fun and creative. While I'm not a huge fan of the music the way you implemented the sound having it dynamically react to the movement was really cool. Really nice work for your first time.

Spent more time playing this than I thought I would for such a straightforward game. Really enjoyed hearing the different instruments get isolated depending on who I killed. Kudos - now let's get a leaderboard or win condition or something!
Nice job on your first dare :) Simple, but with a few levels this could be very fun.

Congrats and welcome to LD! It's only my... 4th one, so I'm not that much more senior than you :)
It's an interesting toy, but yeah - think about game design! That's what we're making here! Games! Take this mechanic and see what you can do with it. Maybe let he player rotate the formation so that there's more option to what/who can be thrown off (right now it's always a single row). Maybe restrictions in movement. Maybe you want to be left with certain combinations. Who knows? Try stuff :)

Not exactly a game, but making the people fall of in different orders was nice
So meta, loved it. ^^
I like the idea of essentially throwing out sound channels. With this practice round done, next time build on the idea and make the full game you want, it should be nice.
Very interesting concept! Very original too.I find it a bit simple. I think you can have a really nice musical game concept here. Perhaps change tempo/tone depending on where the band is playing? I would love to see the game with the 100% of your ideas!

Funny idea! Introducing some sort of puzzle thing would be the next step.
The player is the conductor of the fanfare so you can put him in there as well.
Evil fanfare conductor from hell or somesuch ;)
Loved the audio and how you made the music depend on your actions. Great submission and congratulations on your first LD.

It was pretty cool, would've made a sweet puzzle game I think.
I wouldn't call this a game. It is innovative. It is definitely fresh. It was well done in what it proposed. But I wouldn't call this a game, it doesn't have the conditions of what I could call a game. Still seriously very well done, hard to believe this is a first entry, you know your tools very well, I am sure I will be hearing a lot about you in other Ludum Dares if you have all these skills.
well done! creative idea and it's very well implemented. But it's not that intuitive. at first i din't understand what was happenning. I was expeting to go to another map or something like that.
Overall it's very good entry! Congrats
Interesting concept. It is pretty cool how the different audio tracks get dropped as you throw different members off the sides. This certainly has potential, good first entry!
