Kept saying my Flash wasn't the right version? But Adobe kept telling me I was up to date?
Really like the graphics, the ending was really funny, I'm normally not a fan of point and clicks but it wasn't too long kept me entertained and made me laugh. Good job.
Love the concept and the layout of the UI DNA etc. For me the timer ticked down too slowly making the game potentially go on for ever.
If you decided to take it further you could make it more difficult by asking the player to touch multiple things as the plant grows making the DNA order more important. Even have some points that are bad to go through that would kill the plant.
Overall good job. Congrats.

Love the art, music, text everything really. Neat concept. Wish I could have skipped some of the animations though, that would of kept me playing longer.

Love the graphics and feel of it, the walking speed was a bit slow for me. Really polished and well rounded game, very impressed.
Love the graphics and the music and the over all feel. The spikes were really hard to see and caught me out a few designs. And the level design was a bit too hard for me (but I don't normally play platformers). Achievements were great and I really like the text at the underneath the game as well.
I really like the art. I would have actually preferred everything in the style of the fish which I though had tons of character.
No lag for me, so I guess your fix did the trick!
Love the little touches like the graph and the amount of information you've put on the webpage. I also like the way you gamified the concept by letting the player kill creatures.
Hadn't played a tower defense game that spawns units before. The addition of the Faith abilities as well as the towers was nice. Always left me with something to do.
Because it's a simulation of DNA there's some randomness going on. The plus is that every game will be different. The downside is that sometimes you get unlucky. You may choose Shield but then be unlucky and none of the Mincertrons evolve it.

You're right nseward the behaviour is really confusing for players. Some of the choices could be named/explained better. 'Move away from predator' really means make the Mincertrons aware of the predators position and factor this into their movement. Some of the Mincertrons will ignore this information, some will evolve to move away from them, and some (the really stupid ones) will move towards him!
@lurkingshadow I know what you mean about the first 30 seconds, I wanted the player to see the Mincertrons in their dumbest state before evolution kicked in but in hindsight I should probably get the player involved sooner.

That's the thing with evolution sometimes a branch is bad at surviving and they get weeded out. Sometimes you need to play a few times to evolve well adapted Mincertrons!

Some really nice touches. The particles, the way the boundaries react when you touch them etc. Could have done with some background field to give me a better sense of movement. But overall I think this looks and feels really slick, I had to check to make sure it wasn't a Jam entry!

Really like the shield and the regen mechanic. Setting and story were funny and the map design was better than most of the platformers in the competition.

Great take on the theme and of death in videogames. Makes the gameplay really interesting and both life and death are required to complete the level. Really impressed.
