I love the concept, and the graphics are awesome. The controls are kind of awkward and hard to get used to, and I couldn't move on after getting the cardboard box mask the second time because the longsword has such a longer reach than the knife.
The first level tripped me up a lot. Since the enemies spawn randomly, there were several times where I instantly died. And then the second level was extremely easy in comparison. And I could never find a mate in the third level (do they all look like you or only your "cousins").
The humor was pretty good, but the evolution scenes took more time than I would have liked. It took me forever to realize it was saying "Darwin is disappointed" and "Darwin approves" Those two bits were really pretty much unintelligible.
Overall, it was a pretty fun game, though.
It was pretty simple and easy to understand until a bunch of meteors came and killed all the humans. That confused me to no end. Otherwise, the graphics are pretty good and it was a pretty interesting game.
I couldn't make it past the second level because my character refused to pick up the bigfoots after I threw one.
The graphics of this game are amazing! I also love the soundtrack. The walls make it really hard to see where you are going though. I ended up flying in circles in confusion for a long time. After finding two of the natives, I couldn't find anymore, but that may have been because I was completely lost. xD
I think the lag problem is fixed now!
Gamblore, how long did you play? The amount of toxic waste increases over time.
Press space to jump, left and right arrows to move. Avoid the toxic sludge that falls down, avoid the fish with spears, and collect the bubbles to keep your evolution meter down.
You want to keep your evolution bar down for as long as possible.
I had no idea what I was in for when I started playing this. I loved it. The ending confused me, but it was still amazing overall.
I think the graphics are adorable in this game. I had my volume turned down a bit, so I couldn't really hear the voice-over, but it seemed like it fit with your game's theme. I don't really understand why the dogs can kill you, and I don't really know how this fits into evolution (other than when you start talking about Darwin).
I couldn't figure out where I was supposed to go or what I was trying to do, but otherwise it was a really cute game.
This was a pretty fun game once I figured out what I was doing. I took me a while to realize that the more I ate the higher I jumped. Since the little eaty-things don't respawn after you've consumed them, it is really easy to get stuck an unable to move on. I wasn't ever able to get very far before I got stuck and gave up.
Also, the music doesn't loop, so after it plays through once, you're left playing in silence.
This game is so addicting. I didn't pay any attention during the BEST meeting. xD
