Congrats on submitting!
I don't know why exactly, but I was super disappointed that the enemies blew up in a nice explosion, but I didn't. Good work on finishing the LD!
No recovery time after being hit led to a lot of push-back deaths.
Found a secret by falling through the floor, that was cool.
Congratulations on finishing!
Dun dun dun dun dun dun du na na na na.
That's all I remember. And red. So red...
Bit of of a bug if you try to rush ahead as matches are completing, where you have to wait for something internal to reset before you can complete the match.
Some of the jokes are pretty funny, good work!
Stop him! Nice work.
Very nice to look at, good work.
Very nice, I'm a sucker for upgrade-driven progression. Was a bit confusing at first, as I didn't seem to be able to smash anything, until I realized I needed a longer running start.
Congrats on finishing!
Nifty concept and given the time a very good execution.
When I finally figured out the platforming intention, it all came together for me. Super-meta-meta, great visual style, and tons of potential here.
Congrats on getting a decent framework and interactivity going with your own engine!
Two pop-ups warning me of content access, then a screen with the game title but no game. Latest updated Chrome.
Got it to work on my Windows machine. Slippery. Bouncy. Death.
Reminds me of a really stripped-down Gravity Crash.
Good work on finishing the LD48!
Thanks everyone for the feedback so far.
Looks like the simulation of the disorientation of deep-sea diving was a complete success! :D
Super awesome I want a Gameboy version.
Car is weaker than mammoth!
Fantastic work.
Fantastic work all around. Super Meat Boy meets Limbo, with some Mass Effect for good measure.
5 stars!
Very nice mashup, and I dig the art/audio style!
Congrats on completing the LD!
Really digging the overall style pulled off here, and the bit of story helps.
Ugh. Drop me to die. Tell me to slide into a block and die. And all the red made me hungry for meat. But for some reason I couldn't stop playing.
Good job!
Ugh... push-back. But then I encountered a creeper and I was all-forgiving.
Excellent execution, thank you for making this. :)
I want to eat your brain.
Good lord that's the most perfect font ever.
Oh yeah, and the game is stellar too. With audio it would have been absolutely perfect.
Good job on clearing this LD!
Hah! I laughed. Well-executed, good work.
Love the visual style, but low FPS made it unplayable for me.
Full marks for combining several great mechanics and producing something this polished in 48.
Bravo!
This was so pretty and mesmerizing.
The screenshot doesn't really do it justice. Must be played to be appreciated!
Thanks for making this.
The included level editor was pretty neat. And I was glad I could cut the grass.
Great work on submitting!
Yep, great potential with this one. Hope you add more to it!
Best one yet. So fun, great feedback loops and progression.
You definitely put your skills to good use here, Ham. Thanks for making this one for us!
Robo-blastin'!
Bit disappointed that the 'gun' wasn't actually a pew-pew kind of thing, but the mechanism of it relying on the player's health was a good decision.
Great job submitting to LD!
Great Zelda clone here, probably the most accurate dungeon one I've come across.
Some of the doors in the dungeons wouldn't open, was pushing the blocks supposed to unlock them?
Great work, congrats on entering the LD48!
You nailed the theme on this one! :)
Kudos for rolling a multiplayer game, and this would be an excellent framework for future development.
Pretty cool, SuperCrateBox-ish in the weapon distribution.
Not a fan of the bomb gun, but that didn't stick around too long.
Collision was a bit harsh, I wonder if a player health system would make this a little more enjoyable? All in all, solid entry.
Oops no OS/X on this machine, sorry :(
Thank you very much for taking the time to port this!
For games I can't play immediately I just leave a comment then come back and check before compo's end, so I would have re-visted, but thank you very much for your feedback on the Child.
So, now finally having played this! Awesome work. For the amount of abstract action that's going on it's extremely intuitive and very easy to grasp what the player is supposed to do.
The pace ramps up well, and the frantic fight to protect the final pentagon had me sweating.
Really great work, and this would be PERFECT on a touchtronic device like the iPad or Android.
Great work!
I lived happily ever after.
Best maze EVER.
I had a giggle. What am I, an alien or monkey or monkey alien?
Visually nice. Challenging puzzles.
I took those shiny things.
Is there supposed to be something to do on the planet? It was an interesting take, having mouse control for the guy, and the transition between SHMUP and platformer is a good idea.
Hope you develop this further!
Pretty neat.
Controls felt a bit uncomfortable to me for some reason, but I could get a handle on them with practice.
Gratz on clearing the LD!
Great work on the art.
I would have had the hero on the left side of the screen, there was something a little off-putting (to me) having him on the right.
Great work with the art assets and story!
It seemed to take forever to load for me. Is that normal?
I loved the dastardly BGM, and the graphics were right cool.
Works as a PoC, hope to see this developed further.
Holy smokes I think I sprained my hand trying to survive.
Got 15 seconds: http://twitpic.com/4vavbv
Great game!
TAKE THIS!
Well done, very pretty.
How can I make this work? Sorry, I lack that level of understanding. :(
Thoroughly enjoyed that, well done!
This game makes me feel rich and covered in blood. Excellent!
I lack the technical prowess to make this go. :(
Ah! Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light!
Lots of potential here.
Congrats on your submission!
Really liked the voice synth, and enemy motion was pretty creepy.
The controls threw me off a bit but once I got a handle on them it was fun to explore.
Good work on submitting a 3D game, I know how hard it is to put one together in such a short time.
Reminds me a bit of Every Day the Same Dream.
Really digging the art style here.
102!
Yeah, this was perfectly designed, from a player feedback standpoint. Sound would only make it better.
Great work!
You really shouldn't joke about pregnancy.
I appear to lack the technical know-how to get this going. Sorry :(
Excellent effort. Really pretty, nice player control, and punishingly difficult.
Great showing!
Not enough golds to builds stuffs!
I liked the part where you rode the whale.
I really like the vibe this one is giving off. Really cool use of the physics for the most part.
Slippery character movement made navigation a bit tricky.
First time through got stuck on tut.3, couldn't toss the rock out of the hole.
Interesting progression system, would have been a bit more enjoyable with checkpoints after each ability gain.
Congrats on submitting!
Wow, the setup was really great. I LOL'd.
The boss, on the other hand... well, no health bar for me should have been my first clue.
Restarting at the start was ouch.
Otherwise a really funny take on the theme. Good work!
Visually stunning, very well executed and a nice take on the escort mechanism.
The twist was the kicker. Great work!
Poke-soul.
Congrats on finishing the LD48!
I was indestructible fish with a giant sword! What's not to love?
The music was excellent, I'm guessing that's your main gig?
Nice work.
Heh, cute idea!
Perhaps taking it away from grid-based and making it more free-form and dynamic would make it more fun.
Congrats on clearing the LD. :)
I totally get what you were going for here, and there's a lot of potential for this feature. Hope you develop it further!
Haha, where's my robo-bamboo shoots?
Interesting idea for a feature, with some tweaks it could be pretty cool.
Congrats on finishing!
Nice graphics!
The combat systems was a bit difficult to understand.
Good job on submitting!
Not for the faint of heart.
Zeeeeeep.
Excellent number of well-thought out puzzles! Thanks for this.
Everybody loves a decent platformer.
Good potential here, nice execution. Got to 'the end'. ;)
Congrats on clearing the LD48!
I can feel the scope of this one, and hope that you develop it further.
The genesis was the farming mechanism in Minecraft? ;)
That guy brought a gun to a knife-fight!
Wow, great execution on the drag mechanism. Very nice level design. Really liked this one.
A lot of thought went into this.
Decent progression and a fairly solid platform for further development.
I'd make the enemy bullets indestructible though, that would immediately make it more challenging.
Good work!
I won!
Hard not to score a perfect audio when you write and sing original and very funny tracks!
I like the player movement mechanism a lot. With a bit more iteration this could be really engaging.
Good work!
Oh this was very entertaining.
Was getting a bit of lag but not sure if that was the build or my machine.
For balancing I'd recommend improving the levels of spray regeneration for difficulties, with faster for easy, etc.
Otherwise, a visual feast and fun to boot.
Well, kudos for making a multiplayer HTML5!
Grats on clearing the LD48
Nice minimal approach!
The enemies should spawn on the edge and come in, or at least shimmer or something before materializing, lots of cheap deaths.
57 my record!
Interesting take on the theme.
Nothing like a little fornication in the morning, especially when there's no houses and nothing to eat.
Was this too heavy for a web build?
Cool progression! The bouncy balls that went off at angles were a nice touch and whack-a-mole!
The hammering SFX was epic at first and then it was okay because I went deaf.
Really accessible and nice level design.
I appreciate how hard 2D is in Unity, so great work on executing this one.
Parappa returns!?
I'm a sucker for orbital mechanisms, so this has a lot of potential.
Congratulations on beating the LD48!
Very nice aesthetic. A starfield for motion reference would be a good addition, I got disoriented a fair bit. Perhaps the squares indicating enemies could get larger based on their distance to player.
Congrats on clearing the LD. :)
Extremely well done Unity entry! My congratulations!
Love the style on this one, very pretty.
I would decrease the respawn time to maybe 1 or even .5 seconds, just to keep the player in the game. Other than that, flawless execution!
Very pretty. I liked the overall tone of the game.
Those cutscenes were hilarious!
I threw my knives 'knife style'.
Congrats on submitting to LD48!
I guess I'm bad at games, I couldn't beat the third screen. :(
Very beautiful, but also very punishing. I like a good challenge but this was a bit beyond me.
Congrats on clearing the LD48!
Fun little run.
Good job on completing the Dare!
Amazing work, really inspirational.
Isn't this the Minecraft alpha? :D
Full points for humor, and that noise effect was pretty neat.
404 error, will check back again later.
I'm sorry, I lack the technical abilities and energy levels to make this run. Will check back later.
Super Pants Boy!
Loved the style, couldn't figure out how to wall jump properly. :(
I'm still astounded that Flash has got 3D magic going. The video play looks as good as anything, I'm really looking forward to what people come up with with Molehill.
I would highly recommend attaching a gameplay video as that would give us some idea of what should be happening.
Very cool little game. Resolution was a bit big for my laptop, but it was still playable.
Nice mechanisms all around, and eminently playable.
Great work, now that tune is stuck in my head!
The planet's complaining was the highlight for me, but I'm always looking for a giggle.
Great work, excellent concept here, hope you work it out into a fuller piece.
That was extremely charming! Nice graphics, decent overall gameplay.
Pretty lights and music.
Yep, with tuning and polishing this could be quite interesting!
Sorta didn't really understand what was happening. I know the yellow square slowed stuff down, but... and then the level shifted to a kind of pong thing?
More player feedback tools needed, like text popups or a scoreboard or health meter or something, but I definitely got that the red circles were bad news.
Oh, and the bass riff was cool.
Okay, that scared me. I think I might need professional help now.
Nice message in this one, I think I'd just rather take a taxi.
Very pretty entry. Got caught up on some collisions and had to restart but it ran fine on my system.
Good work.
The neck may be tiny, but it's strong.
Good work on finishing the Dare!
Pretty cool little concept.
I think that having different colors for the beams would have been nice for immediate recognition of what power was firing, but not completely necessary.
Very nice. Visually stunning, would be awesome with sounds and a final objective.
Good work!
Yeah, I branded that chicken GOOD.
It's cool to see an art-heavy entry, good work.
Making games like this means never having to say you're sorry.
Thanks for the lulz. :)
Funny, and educational!
Congrats on clearing the LD48!
This would be a great board game.
Neat tech demo.
The sensation of sailing through the air is really tangible.
Too bad there wasn't more game, but congrats on submitting! :)
Seems like there's an interesting concept here, with a bit more player control over the heroes it would be very cool.
Congrats on completing the challenge!
I most certainly did not know that I shared that many of my genes with sheep.
Big points for innovation.
This would be super-awesome if coupled with action, like you know how Amnesia is sort of the opposite, with pure visual terror and no narration? Visual terror with this narration would make it amazing.
Of course, that's way out of the scope of this submission, so I'm looking forward to seeing what comes out of the visual interpretation version you have planned.
Very nice artwork, lots of fun.
I liked that the sheep moved at variable speed, really kept me on my toes.
Top points for humor, solid writing there. I laughed!
What you had planned sounds pretty great, I hope you build it!
Awww. I loved it!
This was great! Very well executed.
Haaaaanes!
Wow, that had a sort of QWOP feel to it. Very enjoyable.
Great work!
No Mac boot available atm.
LOL that was GREAT!
Reminds me of the journeyman First Aid quest in WoW.
Nice work.
I was think that's a ton of art for 72 hours, and then I noticed the credits. Nice collaboration.
Was it possible to get the power ups again after losing them? I couldn't seem to.
Any chance this might make it to a web build?
Best killscreen ever!
At first I was like, is this game done? And then I was like, holy crap this game is deep.
Very nice collection of player abilities, I especially liked the wall-jump.
Good progression, well-rounded package, audio would have scored this perfectly.
Thank you everyone who took the time to watch the playthrough or get some hands on with the game, and rate and/or comment! I really appreciate it.
Completely agree with all the feedback, it's all fair and I'm glad that no one had a really terrible experience with it. Apologies for the links not working for the first little bit, but my net provider's a bit dodgy.
@Lingmops In this version the doors all lead to the same place, but the framework is coded for them to go anywhere.
@mwest You can die, I didn't have much time to tune difficulty levels so it's set to 'easy'. Expect a stronger range of challenges in the next version.
An improved and expanded version of this has become the main project for Dark Acre, and I hope you'll all come round and give it a go when it's ready for release.
Thanks again for all the kind words and support, and I hope you all had as great an experience with your own projects. Keep building!
Excelsior!
Please post the source.
Gorgeous. Excellent work.
This game is a real drag. :P
Liking the overall concept, not sure how it fits the theme, but the inclusion of a level editor is nice for extending it.
Great potential here! Congrats on clearing the LD48!
Was there only the one screen?
I went monkies for this one. Ook ook ook!
Reminds me of KA-BOOM!
Congrats on clearing LD48!
P.S. What is in that a pipe?
Very nice, moody atmosphere and music.
The overall control handling made it difficult to play.
I seem to lack the technical know-how to make this one go. :(
Cat-attack!
Pretty fun, I managed to kill the end boss even though I was dead.
Great work!
Wandering around in the dark... is this an LD pre-pro simulator!? :)
Cool, like a micro-minimalist version of Amnesia.
Great job.
Hard. Good, but hard.
Always in for some Smash TV-a-likes.
Wishing for more weapon upgrades (I only ever got the axe?), but the foundation here is solid. Also allow for some pause time to show the player the final score, mine always passed by because I was mashing fire.
Good work!
I run this and I get the bouncing cat game? I seem to lack the technical know-how to make this go. :(
Okay, came back and tried it again and it worked fine.
Nice take on Ikaruga, and if an old man gave me a space ship I'd probably just set course for the nearest pleasure planet.
Outstanding, elegant, a joy to experience.
Congrats on submitting!
This was worth installing.
Really pretty, and some more audio assets would definitely heighten the experience: harder breath with longer/faster runs, jump and slide noises, and perhaps the sound of the whatever behind you catching up.
Great work!
Ah the classic parable of the four siblings!
Four siblings set out to compete in the Ludum Dare! The youngest was told she 'lacked the skillz to pay the billz' so was forced to work her part-time job at a local manga/maid cafe instead of enter. (sad trumpet)
Well the first sibling tried to make an RTS, and crashed and burned when he realized it usually takes 48 *months* to create proper orthogonal units, so he gave his dev rig to the youngest.
The second sibling spent so much time creating the most gorgeous and beautiful artwork that by the time the deadline rolled around... that was all she had. She gave her tablet and stylus to the youngest.
The third sibling had his stuff locked down tight, but ended up drinking way too much the night of the competition and woke up with a hangover the evening it was due, slapped together a 'joke entry', then promise that NEXT LD HE WOULD REIGN. He left his Internet connection to the youngest.
So, now armed with all the tools she needed to make a killer game, the youngest braved the terrors of the Ludum Dare. She kept it simple, she kept it cute, and she kept it (reasonably) bug free.
Submitting her awesome game with just moments to spare, she revelled in bliss as the positive comments avalanched in and she became a super famous indie developer, eventually hiring her brothers and sister and forming the best independent game studio ever.
THE END.
P.S. Your game was awesome.
So the cure for loneliness is disintegration? I like it.
Congrats on finishing LD48!
Very clean aesthetics, I like the polish on the visuals.
I can't decide if allowing free movement would have been better or not, probably not but a speed slider or maybe even an intersection go to selection would have made it a bit less tedious.
All in all a solid entry.
The intro was hilarious!
Wasn't sure how to win.
GTA: Ragnarok
Apologies, I lack the technical understanding to make this run. :(
Best graphics yet! Really love this style.
And that's a ton of content for a 48, great work!
No offense, but I'm leery of installers.
You weren't kidding, that was incredibly dangerous.
Major props for making a Facebook game! I shared an LD48 creation to my Wall, how awesome is that?
Got a solid beginning here, hope your progress goes well over the month!
It looks very pretty, but the game throws an exception error on my Windows 7 so I can't seem to get it to run.
Came back to try again, installed the OA thing, and both the 64 and non-64 versions opened a console window for half a second then nothing happened. Ah well!
13,825. I feel like that's marginal, given all the leading zeroes... :)
Wow, I really love what's happening here. Sort of giving off a SuperCrateBox feel but nailing the constrained single-screen design.
I think it needs some more progression, like maybe a tower to climb level by level?
Great showing, thanks for making this.
Loved the 'organic' SFX. :)
With a bit of conflict it would be really compelling. Some mutants to zap or so.
Great execution on the mood and the visuals really nailed it.
Can't seem to get this one going, it gives me the opening splash screen but when I press Enter it drops to desktop. :(
Windows 7, 8GB RAM
That music seems familiar!
Nice, a timely geo-political exercise. :)
Congrats on clearing the LD48!
Seems like I don't have the technical skills to run this game. :)
It looks very nice though.
Well done!
At first I was like, I totally hit that guy but he stole my bag, and then I was like, ohhhh rhythm game!
Congrats on finishing the LD!
Interesting concept. Wasn't exactly certain how to advance past the second screen..
Buddy Holly -is- awesome.
Nice little game about heart management. I thought it was impossible but I saw it through to the end.
Congrats on deploying your game to the LD48!
A balloon with a machine gun was pretty much exactly what I needed this morning.
Excellent work, congrats on finishing!
No web-links present on this page...
Hard boss is hard.
Nice to have a little brawler though, good break from all the platforming.
Gratz on clearing the LD!
Love these Poke-battlers!
I could bypass the guys and still get an item.
Decent entry, nice to have more multiplayer games.
Pretty cool, would like to have had a score meter in-game, just because I'm competitive like that. :)
Can anyone confirm Blodyavenger's comment? Will withhold rating until then.
Ah, okay. Yeah pretty good entry for someone with no coding skills?
Nice job!
Ah, text adventures. Nice work on taking a stand against graphics. :)
Great effort.
The "other dimension" level lagged a bit, but it was still passable.
The extermination level was really punishing, those pendulums were murder.
Congrats on submitting!
Crafting and capitalism, like my two favoritest things in the world!
Great effort, and congrats on submitting for the LD!
I lack the technical patience to get this to run, sorry. :(
Really liked the visual presentation.
The controls need a touch of tweaking though, they felt a bit loose to me.
Congrats on submitting to the LD!
Nice smooth controls, bit wider passages earlier on would raise the accessibility.
Congrats on clearing the LD!
I loved the puzzle design here. Really well-considered.
Frying the enemies was right fun, too.
Great work!
Ice Weasel was my first ever handle on the old BBS systems in the 80's. Crazy nostalgic moment, there.
Pretty cool take on the 'powers' progression player ability. Nice graphics, interesting setting.
Sweet. Tons of potential here! Very nice presentation.
If the procedural generator is tweaked I can see this as a funner Canabalt (there, I said it).
Congrats on clearing the LD48!
Homage? Parody? Thanks for the little laugh!
This gave me flashbacks.
Sorry, I lack the technical know-how to get it going, but it looks very cute.
Full marks for innovation on this one, very cool concept and you proved it could work!
Didn't really buy the post-apocalyptic set up when it opened onto green fields, blue water, and healthy trees. ;)
All in all, a great effort and would love to see this developed further.
Is that Rebecca Black?!
Interesting effect on the cube.
With checkpoints this would be a little more enjoyable.
This scared me! Nice work!
Haha I got the cheese. Nice work, not sure if it would be better to start inside the house or not?
Congrats on finishing!
Ah, very good use of audio cues! I liked the tension. First time I was killed I was like, WTF but then I realized why.
Not a huge fan of walls of text to start with, but hey whatever gets the story across ;)
Good job on finishing!
Heh, I had a larff.
Gratz on getting this one out in 24 hours!
Interesting concept. Physics can be hard to tune!
Oh this looks pretty.
Any chance of a web build?
Rather easy, but you know what? That's exactly what I needed after hours of punishing entries. Thanks! :)
I like the jumping controls.
Also, seeing my own guts splatter is weird.
Great job on clearing the LD48!
Painful. It hurts. I'm hurt.
Everybody loves digging for cats. Looks like someone wanted to incorporate a bunch of the themes, and it worked out pretty well.
Loved the cute little sprites, nice looking, nice playing.
Good job!
Like my favorite part of Heavenly Sword, arrow-cam!
With balancing and clearer graphics this could be a really compelling experience... and definitely would be awesome multiplayer.
Nothing like a bit of toilet humor.
Clever puzzles.
I'm a winrar!
I loved this, excellent work and great combination of features.
Download link didn't work for me :(
Hey, came back to try it and managed to download the package, but when I try clicking on the DontGoAlone.py file it opens a console window for a second then closes... not sure at all what I'm doing wrong. :(
Congrats on submitting for the LD48!
What is love?
Baby don't hurt me.
Don't hurt me.
No more.
Nice take on the theme.
Second game with a cat escort I've come across, only this one's got health and puzzles and stuff.
Pretty nifty, had to kill the audio because it was killing me.
Solid effort, congrats on submitting!
Really liked the look of this one.
I'm guessing the achievement particle is spawning endlessly? Made it unplayable for me, unfortunately.
Ha, this one was comedy gold. Loved the taunts, great work!
Pretty pretty, and something Spore-ish about it.
Makes me want to play Bionic Commando, too.
As always, ace execution and you do live up to your name. While checkpoints may have eased the burden a tiny bit, the overall challenge level was good for an advanced player.
Thanks for this, and congrats on clearing your first LD48!
Thank goodness for the P button. Once I pressed that the game got way better.
Okay, there's a lot of good ideas going on here, always make stuff happen too fast rather than too slower, most players will thank you for it.
Congrats on submitting!
I think FRANCIS BACON this is a really good FRANCIS BACON tech demo.
FRANCIS BACON.
The screenshots look promising, but I didn't have the patience to reach them as the game was running at like 1fps on my machine.
Love noised textures, love 'em. Minimalism is great, too.
Don't like not being able to sprint, or getting tossed back to the start.
Congrats on submitting to Ludum Dare!
Interesting concept, kinda cool to be able to control a whole gang of dudes by myself on one keyboard.
Congrats on clearing your first LD!
Solid platform for further development, would highly recommend taking this one to the next level.
Great work!
I lack the appropriate video card :(
Thanks for providing a different mode version!
Yeah this was pretty good. The flaming zombie gun was a bit op, managed to get 200 slain with that one.
Good work!
I forgive you.
Cleared it without firing a shot, but man that last stage was brutal.
Reminded me a bit of the trench run from the old vector Star Wars arcade game.
YAHOOOO YOU'RE ALL CLEAR, KID!
Congrats on clearing LD48!
There's a lot of good going on in this game. Loved the tight graphics and level progression.
Just feels like it needs something extra. An umbrella glide, maybe?
Congrats on submitting!
WarioWare on LSD with about 1000mg of AWESOME.
I'm not sure how to make this run. :(
I clicked the mouse to continue, but it looks like there's nothing I can do.
I guess I'll have to cut open my dog's stomach and crawl inside, taun-taun style.
Pew pew pew!
Gratz on finishing.
I won!
Also, jumping into the sky was awesome.
Probably the most fun I've had out of the 100+ I've rated thus far, but then again I'm a sucker for physics puzzlers so this was right up my alley.
Amazing work for only 16 hours! Way to go!
Ouch, another one that demands my laptop produce better graphics. :(
Hey, thanks for providing a video. Looks really great, and like everyone else has said this is an excellent result for 48 hours.
Gorgeous.
Got to love annoying faeries.
I want to win this one, I really do, but I'm gonna have to get a hold of the source and rebuild it with the option to flip the camera axis, because I simply cannot handle the inverted vertical.
Great work, congrats on clearing the LD48!
Nifty little Minesweeper-y RPG full of EVIL.
Nice backing track loop. Made me want to do an EVIL dance. :)
Could have benefited from a little clearer explanation but I got it in the end, good work.
I lost :(
Congrats on submitting!
I fell down a hole for an insta-kill! That wasn't very nice!
Funny dialog, and a nice idea 'beer-dwarves'. Good job!
Insect Overlord. Very nice.
Congrats on entering the LD48!
Really cool, lots of enemy and weapon variety. The jump to the ranged weapons was a bit jarring but I got used to it quickly.
Really nice little game, though the opening and closing doors was a bit buggy, sometimes enemies came when they were closed.
I won!
A lot of really nice game in here. I would recommend allowing maybe a keyboard key to close the dialog boxes, having to mouse down to them was a bit of a game-breaker.
Also, good work on creating replayability by letting the player know what the extended goals are after the first level.
Was this impossible to build for web? Don't like seeing Unity standalones only. :P
The intro was great, then I crashed into the planet. I suppose that's what I get for drinking and rating.
Yeah, you got the basics of a cool side-scrolling SHMUP happening here.
Hope you work on it further! Really liked the main character.
The anti-SuperCrateBox?
Cool concept, enemies smoked me a little hard for my enjoyment, but good execution all around. A visual feast.
Unable to evalute Linux-only stuff, but this -looks- cool. Will check back later.
Really cool concept.
I must be brain-damaged from the weekend, though. I couldn't figure out how to bypass the turrets.
Cool little platformer, always down for some robo-jumps over disembodied crocodile heads!
That gun definitely needs to pew-pew faster, it would make clearing the boxes way more fun.
Minor collision issues on the steps, sometimes hard to jump, but very nice visuals and great tone. Good work!
Really good, I'd recommend making the exit a door or trigger rather than having to collect all the candies/veggies because if you miss one you're kinda hooped.
Nice job!
My mind.. too weak.. to bounce cat..
I guess sex really does sell!
Congrats on clearing the LD48. :)
This would have been awesome on the Atari 2600!
Always nice to get/play some multiplayer entries. Good work on this one.
Windows version crashes on load here (Windows 7) :(
Ah, my favorite sub-theme, capitalism.
Nicely executed, fun take on the main LD theme and quick to play.
Fantastic! Reminds me a bit of Tower of Greed, only with way more to do.
Great work.
Loved the party-people, very funny. Then things got weird...
Not sure the cross-hair was clear enough, and wasn't sure if I was "winning". I lasted longer the longer I played though.
Congrats on clearing the LD48!
Pretty cool, a Limbo-inspired visual with a Prey-inspired spirit walk mechanic. Great work!
Nice twist in the intro, and the allowance for gamepads was nice.
Not the biggest fan of "do it again, silly" mechanisms, but I could see the appeal for other players.
Congrats on finishing the Ludum Dare!
I get an error, OpenGL 2.1 not supported. I'm not sure what that means... :( I want to play this, it looks cool.
A great all-around game. Lots of depth, and it's always fun interacting with AI.
Good job!
Punishment overwhelming!
It wasn't until I came back to check SonnyBone's comments that I realized there was more to this than at first glance.
I hope too many players don't get put off by the game hiding a lot of its functions from them, because it's worth playing in the long run.
Congrats on a great submission.
Pretty interesting little game. The shot collision was a bit buggy, but the weapon choices made up for it.
Nice effort!
Nice art. Seemed to get impossible around 200K.
Great ideas and a complete A/V asset set here makes this one to tune and release. Great work!
I love how the screenshot sums up the experience: spawn, get swarmed by murderous cats, die.
Very punishing!
Congrats on submitting your first game to the LD48 compo!
Pretty neat idea.
Congrats on clearing the 48!
Great beginnings, hope you can work it up into a full game!
This would have been perfect for a digging theme.
I loved the riff on Minesweeper. Very well done.
Also I know how difficult 2D is in Unity, but you pulled it off rather well. Good work!
Interesting concept.
I personally think that any game with char-by-char reading definitely needs a "skip the typing and show me all at once" unless it's somehow tied to the game dynamic.
Also it seemed to want to crash while waiting for the text to finish, but recovered when I could press space.
Interesting concept.
I got a 404 error at that link, will try again later.
Glad I came back for this one!
All around excellent work, liked the whole "programmer as robot" shtick.
Sorta wanted somewhere to spend those hard-earned coins but hey, great game nonetheless.
Falling down the first long drop froze my character, then killed him, every time... :(
I downloaded the XNA thing but it tells my graphics card is NG. Sorry. :(
Loved that backing track.
I avoided the bombs at first, thinking they were bad. :(
Good job on completing the LD48!
This was really cool, really fun to play.
It seemed that the only purpose for the upper half of the screen was to see Tim's thoughts? Perhaps a PIP enlarging the Robot's view would be another way to view the game world.
Excellent work!
The more you know...
It's cool how the camera follows the projectile.
And the cat jump sound is perfect!
Congrats on the Chrome build, very slick.
A bit more player direction is needed, but this looks very pretty.
Really cool to get a top-down flight game like this done in the time allotted.
I think that allowing unlimited ammo might had made it more fun, and perhaps limiting the fuel instead. I'm not sure though.
Great work, should def develop this further.
Yep, no links, no journal... another great LD48 mystery!
Got my ass handed to me repeatedly by the first enemy.
The thumbnail had me thinking something else entirely. ;)
Kind of gives off that Magicka vibe. Nice riff!
I tried to meet up with the people in the park playing with the dog but never seemed to get any closer... ;)
Good work on a successful Unity deploy, could use a bit more player direction to help get into the game.
With some simplification and a slower introduction to the concepts, this could be far more accessible.
Good job on submitting, and I love how it's pretty much an instant-open in my browser.
Cool concept, manual control of turrets gives it that little bit extra innovation it needs.
Would like more to do in this big field! Lots of baddies, I can see you were going for a pretty big scale.
Nice effort.
I appear to lack a python26.dll.. :(
Decent concept, smooth player movement.
I grabbed the first package a couple of times and no more spawned after that.
Very well done, very innovative!
I was rather disappointed there wasn't more, so that's a good thing.
Great work, highly recommend you polish this further.
So very very pretty.
So very very punishing.
I don't have a Windows Phone. Can you please post a video so we can check it out?
Pew pew penis. Nice work on pushing some boundaries with this one.
Congrats on finishing the LD48!
Haha, that was pretty fun.
Sorry, but I couldn't resist posting it to funnyjunk.com
Congrats on finishing the LD48.
The installer is missing some files. Another LD Jam mystery...
Hope to see a compiled version, this looks neat.
Loading.
Was I just trolled? :)
Having a hard time figuring out to make this work... any chance of a Windows executable?
The guy walked really slowly for me, and the first two levels were just empty?
This was pretty neat, with some bomb powerups like Bomberman it'd be rockin'.
Got 220.
Please get a DropBox also create original assets.
Level 5 caused a bit of bacon-overload, but this was really good for getting caught up on all the memes I've missed.
Great job. :)
Beautiful, totally reminds me of the older adventure games!
Audio's suitably creepy, and a great atmosphere established.
I couldn't interact, even on reload. Not sure why. Also, could push the first zombie through the scene to the next and then he vanished.
Full points on innovation for the use of the outside assets.
Very interesting concept, was a bit unsure about where the spaceships were but had fun blasting the Earth with orbital energy.
Very cool concept. The QWOP/GIRP of dungeon defense.
Inspiring work, as always!
Definitely has potential.
I mean, who doesn't love swarms of killer bees?
Pretty good little dodge-em game, I like the trail-of-lives effect, very well done.
Loved the concept of a bullet hell with melee! Cute sprites, and a nice progression of power ups and rewards.
Great work!
Wow, great work for a 48.
Small collision issue on the first elevator had me moonwalking up through the second floor and breaking the game, but that's only if players try to leave before the elevator reaches the bottom.
Solid, very nice work visually.
Good.
Fantastic.
Reminds me a bit of that game that the UK indies made recently about the life of an American stock broker. Very biting.
Great work!
It's great that gems like this are showing up near the end of my review run.
Really, really good. I'm going to need a walkthrough to pass it, though, got stuck on 'Delay'.
A fantastic result, very happy to have played this.
I won it the non-violent way.
Grats on submitting to the LD!
Superb. A bit slow but that was the point, yes? :)
Congrats on submitting!
Curse those blobs!
Decent progression though, like when faced with zombies, it is much simpler to run than fight.
Congrats on clearing the LD!
Decent, as with other comments more tuning would make it more accessible, but I get it.
Great job for 48 hours!
Really liked this riff on the 'temporal displacement' mechanism.
Lovely artwork, great job!
You weren't joking when you said it would tax the system.
I think I'm getting 10 fps on my lappy.
I wandered around the tripped out landscape for a bit but didn't get a clear indication of what I should have been doing. I'll try again later on a more powerful machine.
Couldn't return after picking up the mail on level 1, dog kept killing me.
Anyone else find themselves uncontrollably humming the Zelda theme? Ah, imprinting.
Impressive work, nice execution.
Oh man, this hit all the right notes. Funny, fun, and full of zombies.
And a screaming baby! Perhaps the escaped mutant child from a certain research hospital? ;)
Well done, I thoroughly enjoyed this.
Winterbottom was one of my favorite games of '10, so cloning mechanisms are always on the top of my 'love to play' list.
This was well executed, and with tuning it has a lot of potential.
I seem to lack the technical ability to make this run. :(
Opening cinematic was hilarious.
Hey wow framerate... couldn't move.
The Windows link didn't want to download. :(
Swarms are all the rage this season! Nice work implementing one.
I can see the potential for sure, more development might make this mechanism shine.
Sort of an abstract take on Frogger? Cool idea!
Really nice. Would benefit greatly from a visual cue other than the timer bar to signal a change, like perhaps a global flash of the screen before flipping, as the sudden change would sometimes cause an unnecessary death.
Probably the most innovative game I've seen so far.
Aaaugh!
Hard, but once I got it, I got it. Could benefit from a slightly more gentle introduction but I understand how the time constraints wear on the overall scope.
Solid entry, and something to tide me over until Schatz releases Monaco ;)
Nice concept, and pretty tight controls. Good work.
Cool, punishing, nice graphics.
Interesting, like a stripped-down Metal Gear Solid. Good work.
What am I escaping from, exactly? There wasn't really any motivation to vroom vroom. A timer or wave of mutilation would have helped with that.
With tighter control this could be awesome.
I wish I could get to the fun that everyone else seems to be having :(
I didn't understand why sometimes the pursuers stopped after beating me, and sometimes (like, 5 games in a row) a single dude just kept bum-rushing me to the point where I wouldn't even have enough coins for the first upgrade.
I can see the concept here, though, just punished me way too much.
Not the biggest fan of being tricked into an inescapable pit.
Very nice visual work. Never a fan of railroading, I was hoping I could run and hide.
I was so disappointed that running the paparazzi in front of the cars didn't kill them.
I'm digging the concept here, and see it working as more fully-developed game. Nice job!
See the 'Web' link for OSX/Win standalone builds and source. Thanks.
Thank you everyone for the feedback thus far! I completely agree that a dozen more escape tricks would make this at least 11 times better, and by the time the deadline loomed I knew that, at best, the result would be more a demo of a much larger game.
Oh, and if you do miss the instructions ESCAPE during an Illusion attempt will pause and bring them back ;) Cheers!
At the end I didn't make a choice, was that making a choice?
The character animation and art was well done, found myself wishing I could interact with the environment a tiny bit more, at least with some of the NPCs.
Solid results.
Brilliant.
A... wait for it... mazing.
Yeah I was pretty amazed until I realized it was a jam game :)
Did you manage to stand up the whole time?
Spider-man, Spider-man...
Really liked the concept, I think the first escape could have been a bit easier/clearer to help with getting players into the game.
Very pretty, loved the tech minimalism.
Very difficult for me, perhaps a slightly easier couple of warm up levels would help.
The music is creepy.
I had no idea how to control my guy so I kept dying.
As hard as I tried, I couldn't run forever.
Nice kitty.
I wouldn't be surprised if a AAA tried to pick this guy up for this entry. Solid.
I would love to see the other 40% :)
I got to da choppa!
If any game has ever needed a mini-map/objective arrow, this would be it.
Solid effort though, 5 for humor :)
Escape... or avoid?
Nice work with the scoreboard, provided additional motivation on top of the achievements and score-get.
I felt some collisions with the harpoon were a little dodgy, but hey at least you get an achievement for getting gutted.
Less overmap, more minimap.
Beautiful pixels, as always. Thanks for making this.
All my friends died. Just like in real life.
Great entry, with a little polish and tweaking this could be really fun as a Flash diversion.
Really nice example of HTML5 gaming goodness. Cool way to establish the controls, that was very intuitive for me.
Good effort. Please donate to a poor game developer.
Really liked this, could see it translating well to mobile touch device. Great first entry!
I'm a... creeper?
The mechanics definitely need more development to bring out a smoother flow to the gameplay, and the audio could use a tiny bit of variety to avoid driving players insane.
I love LD games that I can actually complete.
Great take on the recharge to stay alive feature. Well done, I liked this one a lot.
Nice attempt. Diggin' the potato-headed main avatar.
This game would be so rad if I had a trackball and could use it like the original classic Asteroids arcade machines had.
Asteroids - The RPG.
Well done!
Punishing, but well-executed. Good work.
Really well-executed puzzler. I could see how this could be developed further with the addition of other features like teleporters/destroyers and translation level geometry. Great work!
Space Harrier flashbacks.
Pretty good attempt, thanks for making this.
Cool proof-of-concept, let us know if it gets developed further.
Quite a few entries using this dual-avatar movement mechanism. This one's had the best aesthetic so far, but I'm not sure if I prefer the static movement to the one where you can push the replicant around by bumping into walls.
Still, a solid effort and nice graphics.
Wow, very nice concept here. If polished this could do very well as a fun diversion.
I just got trolled :P
Nice background image, smoother controls would help. Liked the floaty-blobby spotlight effect.
Now I need to take a piss.
Not sure if the motivation feature was functioning or not.
Visually interesting, and I always love abstract stuff like this. The controls were surprisingly tight for something done in such a short time.
Always love to see Unity being pushed hard for compo entries.
Player-controlled camera (right-click to pan/zoom/rotate) would be greatly appreciated but not strictly necessary for this one.
Cool art style, the birds were very well done.
Nice take on this model, and good use of various "AI" patterns.
Wow, this had a lot of work in it. The escape system was very well-balanced, too. Impressive.
Would have loved a full auto option, my clicking finger is so tired :)
This was hard, even on easy mode. Nice graphics and a good concept, would like to see it developed further.
I was dying for an option to beat on the aliens, but I'm violent like that.
Pretty cool, liked the little representations and was sad when I couldn't get the girl back from the bigger square. Fortunately there was a kitty to watch me swing...
Very well done. Love the voice-work, I really must try harder to get more into my next attempt.
I'd recommend Screen.lockCursor for this type of control, as well... when I found the button and clicked it I closed my 3DS Max project >.<
Couldn't get past 7/9.
What is? I don't even.
Nice pixels.
I hate you.
Nyan Cat is the next generation's Rick Roll.
Did you really make that whalesong yourself?
Thank you for the pretty pictures.
I found the kitty! But that was before clipping got turned back on.
Thank you everyone who took the time to play, watch the video, and/or drop a rating. I really appreciate it.
I don't use the word "innovative" often, probably mostly because I'm a bitter dick, but this was a very innovative use of movement recording. The graphics were meh, but I'm sure you could do better with more time.
Excellent foundation for future expanded projects. Minor camera issues and raycasts obscured by the player avatar, would probably want to set the player to the "IgnoreRaycast" layer.
Love the texturing, fantastic.
I couldn't cut the human off and quit. I can't read.
Wicked good. That mom was just like mine!
At first I tried using WADS but had to switch to WASD. I guess it's just a personal preference.
This should totally be Alan Wake DLC, or maybe a game he plays on his mobile phone between episodes.
So much better than CrineMaft.
oh oh oh I'm on fire
Nice little story. I think that Limiting the number of pushes would have made it more game-y.
Very cinematic, good use of camera and light.
As others have commented, a tiny bit more direction on where to get the batteries would have been greatly appreciated. And keeping in mind that I'm a lazy bastard on a tight schedule.
Well done. A "shift-to-run" would have been most welcome. Definitely a strong foundation for future FP 3D work.
Impressive work for 48 hours.
Platforming was solid, and the environments interesting.
I only lit a handful of torches before retiring.
Wow this game murdered me early, and often. Interesting feature, though, that umbrella.
Nailed the theme and mood, and a very well-executed 2.5D perspective.
Forest fire simulation of the year.
I died pretty hard in this. Liked the Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet vibe.
I was surprised how angry I got at not figuring out the keypad. Found the green flashlight and the person up the ramp, that's pretty much where I gave up.
Good work on introducing the player to the controls, and nice atmosphere. Also I'm falling in love with the lo-fi texturing that some of these Unity games are showing off this compo. Really slick.
Very nice on the visual side. With some sound and level design this could be very good indeed.
Loved the Costanza logo. Didn't really get what to do so I just hammered keys until it froze. Fortunately, mashing buttons is fun.
Simulator of the year, great work!
First impression (and caveat, I just load the games without reading instructions or descriptions) couldn't figure out what I was being trained for. Had to drop out to figure out what the "action" button was, an on-screen prompt would have fixed that right up.
Went back in and got stuck in a wall. Retried and there were two of me and it loaded me into level 3 without passing level 2. Then it froze.
I think there might be a few bugs in there.
The ghosts were cute.
It was okay, kind of wish there was something I could do about the puppies being put down, like if it depended on how many moves it took to complete a board.
What the...
I like the concept, and would be super-fun multiplayer.
Locked up for me around 20 turns in, but I got the gist of it.
Brilliant, kinda sad I haven't thought of this yet, and happy that you have.
Wow. I'm way too OCD to know how to make this go. I blame TV.
Thumbs up for HTML5?
Nice twist on this type of puzzle, and I really want a physical version so I can put those gems in my mouth.
I was kind of shocked to see my LD entry on the PC in the desert.
Astounding accomplishment for 48 hours, I can't even begin to imagine how this was done. Oh, hello source code.
I'm sorry for your loss.
I rated because it was the first thing I saw.
It's a platformer alright. I really dug the physical thrown objects, very fun that. And the noodling guitar was a nice touch.
I ran, died, and was eaten by a cat. I, too, was disappointed by the feedback to my responses :P
This would make a great intro to another game, and apparently that's what it is.
Very nice visual presentation.
You should be.
I'm not smart enough for this type of gameplay.
Fun until I realized there was no lose condition, and it was an endless positive feedback loop.
Penalty for missed calls, or an overall timer (the sun setting would have been visually cool) and then making it a high-score chase would have been a couple of ideas.
Three games for the price of one! Value+
Bang bang bounce bounce. What were you saying?
This game would be awesome if there was colonization of planets, ship customization, and intergalactic diplomacy.
But yeah, great effort. A score counter for blasting the baddies would have been welcome.
Really awesome jam entry. Hope PoV or whomever can get it transferred into that category.
I got the "dog" ending. This was absolutely brilliant and a benchmark for about how long I can deal with platforming in my old age. Great work, thanks for making this. 5/5
Pretty cool tech demo. With a bit of ambient sound and some drugs this would be killer.
N.Y.A.N.C.A.T. call of Catnobyl. Excellent concept, damn those radiation bugs!
Absolutely brilliant. Loved this one.
Hah, I'm glad you pointed me here, at the risk of missing this gem. Excellent work and love love love the 2D Unity.
91. Seems accurate too, considering I patterned my behavior after my real-life history.
Brilliant. I would totally steal this if I was of the thieving bent.
HTML5 eh? Interesting audio limitation.
Great concept, the only thing missing is a progress counter.
Pretty nice take on Populous. Got some minor click-delay on the web build but it was functional.
It's ok.
Hard and super cute, nice take on the gravity-fling idea.
I liked the time subtracting from the score incentive.
Very cool opening cinematic, wasn't exactly clear what to do at first but I got it. Bonus points for using that classic Gold Box SSI font.
Nice textures.
If you were having issues with Unity -> Dropbox before, the trick is to remove the "S" from the httpS public link before sharing it.
This was an interesting concept, though I have to confess I had no idea what I was supposed to do or how to do it :/
I sat in the top left corner shooting right & got to level 10. Enjoyed the proc creatures.
What everyone else said, and I think there's potential here.
You got an excellent minimap working. You are the best.
This was very refreshing, well done with the visuals & tone.
I think a 2-block fall could have been OK not to kill the player.
Great job.
I just get a white screen after clicking the object.
Full points for humor.
Lemmings!
Pretty cool.
Absolutely gorgeous. Would love to see your art coupled with some more fleshed-out game design some day.
There is a ton of stuff going on here. So much content for such a short dev period, really really well done.
Hope you take this to a full release.
Cool. Collisions could have been a little more forgiving, would have upped the "fun" rank.
GTA rampage mode! With a ton of characters, power ups, unlocks... in 48 hours or less. I'm not worthy.
Great artwork, I would have made the audio sample a little longer and the difficulty curve slightly shallower.
Stuck on network interfaces. Is this game finished? Nice work on the massively long intro. A HELP command would be supremely useful.
Rather choppy performance on my gaming rig, and the sound was just static? Maybe that was the aesthetic.
I would have added something to communicate to the player that SOMETHING was happening. As it was it was bit too subtle for my tastes.
Decent writing. The low gravity on this planet made jumping fun-time.
Best out of the 80 I've played so far, if only for potential. Trying to see how the more complex puzzles would be done is a joy. This is really something special, hope you work on it more.
One of the more ambitious jam entries I've come across. Good work.
Probably a good thing you didn't go with outside BGM, that could have been a potential DQ.
RE: my entry loading slowly, out of 100+ ratings so far you're the first to bring it up so you may wish to try again if/when you have time.
I've got the same system you do & it's fine. Could have been a DropBox issue or perhaps you need a reboot. /shrug
Brutal. I loved the intro.
Balls-hard retro gameplay. Not sure if Dracula is a bigger villain than a priest, but that's just an opinion :)
Very cool. Kind of like a stripped-down XCOM without all the messy tactical alien shit. Would be nice if the events were confined to continental land-masses, a surprising number of rebellions occurring in the midst of oceans.
At first I expected it to be one of the "you spawn the enemy fleet" SHMUPS I've seen so much of this LD, but was pleasantly surprised.
The intro confused the hell out of me, though :)
Seen a few of these "reverse SHMUPS" so far, and this one is the prettiest.
At first I thought this was a deepknight entry, but then I realized that aesthetic isn't unique. Also, goats?
Cool little point-n-click system. I got the gun, could see the guy & figured that I was supposed to interact with the panel under the "map", but couldn't seem to get any further than that.
This is art.
Pretty impressive, especially considering it's HTML5.
I would have put the simple directions on the website/within the game at the start (directions to move/shift to interact). Also not certain how I'm a villain, but maybe I didn't reach that part.
The right-click needs to be enabled for the web build. Fun with physics!
Ambitious, but I'm way too drunk to know what I'm doing.
Really good start here, with some balancing and tuning and some more work it could be really something special. Great job.
Nice effort. Pressing the action keys during the intro produces a debug window & I couldn't hear any music.
There's a lot of complexity here, like the feelings I have for the game's title.
Better luck next time.
Full points for coming up with a reactive audio entry. Not sure why I'm the villain but that's cool. Great work!
Cool. I get what you were going for here but I lack the patience for the control setup. Very nice aesthetic.
Made me want to get out my classic Gameboy :)
Heh, and you thought the controls in my game were rough? :P
Great graphics, nice concept.
Solid work. Full marks for fun.
Did I win? Not sure how this fits the theme, and the insta-kill then restarting at the beginning was a drag. That & there not being an ending.
Good job recording a thunder storm during the 48 hours!
Wow, this was painfully difficult.
This is a cool concept. Unfortunately for me, "being quick" and tuning 4 rotary nobs with slighly painful response levels was beyond my abilities. Nice aesthetic, would like to see this developed further. I might use keyboard keys for tuning rather than "drag to tune".
What is this I don't even. But it called me "stupid", so yay?
Hope you can make a more accessible entry next time around!
That's one hairy arm.
Pretty cool little ultra-stripped-down Dungeon Keeper. My minions were useless, though. I might have gone for a bit of an easier level progression.
There's a good start to a game here.
The web link is actually a download link. Is this supposed to be playable in a browser? Will check back later.
Very cool, great execution on the concept for 48 hours. Solid.
Reminds me of some of the bitter indies in my social networks.
Wat.
Very cool little abstraction. Nice work!
Charming.
Great attempt, better luck next time :)
Very well done. Great aesthetic. Nice definition of "villain".
I would have made the collision a lot more forgiving, it would have improved the fun factor a lot.
And how am I a villain if I'm helping the people escape?
That's incredible that you coded this AI in less than 48 hours. Stellar work.
The game itself was a bit tedious, but I could see this being really fun as a head-to-head game.
Those katamari things picked my booger. Solid ideas in there, would benefit from sound & more things to kill.
For whatever reason, the web version causes a plug-in error. I'm using Chrome and my web plug-in is up to date.
Cool. Some form of scoring system would have made this much more interesting. Nice idea.
Wow. A tutorial. Great work.
I think I would have made the last selected build option "always on", since having to go back to the bar and select it again was a bit of a pain. Then again, I am a lazy bastard so that could be coloring my opinion somewhat.
For me (Win7-64/Chrome) the web link opens up a Dropbox download manager.
The best way to hotlink from Dropbox is get the "public link" to the game's .html file, remove the "s" from the "https" it gives you, and then use bit.ly or something to shorten it.
Congrats on your first entry!
Not sure what happened, but the first time through the keypad UI wouldn't close and I was locked in strafe move. Otherwise great work with the voice acting and mood!
I would have done a slower progression curve. The first level by itself would have been fun for a long time, I think, without changing up the tracks too much.
Not exactly sure how I'm a villain.
Full marks for innovation & good job on the tutorial.
Cool, seeing quite a few of these. Great audio. As with most of these the "enemy" is OP. I'd have tried to make a gradual curve of dummies to intelligent.
I could see this being pretty cool on one of them new-fangled touch-screen devices all the kids have these days.
I would highly recommend recording some gameplay footage.
I escaped the island by jumping off the waterfall >.<
I never found out why I have cash.
Pretty good. I would have mapped the powers to 1/2/3 for ease of use. I guess dragons = villains? Cool.
Very nice reverse bullet-hell. Great work.
BTW I fixed the Windows build on my project, if you'd still like to check it out - http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-25/?action=preview&uid=2947 Cheers!
Reminded me of how I play Minecraft. Nice job.
Yep, pretty basic. Few cows spawned underground, and I'd make make my BGM loop at least 15 seconds.
There's definitely the strong beginnings of something here. I liked the timing aspect, getting big herd and a nice fat collection.
This prison is broken.
I looked at the stats screen and kinda lost my mind. I love complex games but I require a proper manual ;)
Hope you can figure out how to deploy an .exe by next LD :)
Could not get this to run (Win7/64).
Better luck next time :/
Wow, this is absolutely gorgeous. Props to the artist.
RE: the bug you found in "The Condemned" - I couldn't reproduce it, but while testing I got another bug that gave me the flashlight early. It seems like this is random and a low-percent chance of happening. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.
Excellent work for a first-time solo entry.
So, I'm the villain for cock-blocking & ripping this guy off? Hm.
Pretty good work with the systems.
The IBM cheat is awesome, I keep forgetting to put stuff like that into my games.
I enjoyed this, even though platformers aren't really my thing. The aesthetic is great.
Very nice little game.
Holy smokes this makes me want to play Ultima V.
This is an amazing amount of content for under 48 hours. I'm impressed. There appears to be a novel's worth of dialog in here, too. Amazing work. If you can do this so quickly you should get into doing a web-series and you'd have a bigger franchise than Penny Arcade.
I'm not worthy.
Full marks for Humor.
Better luck next LD!
Nice, seeing quite a few of these reverse SHMUPs and this one is quite well done. Good work.
That was really fun once I got the fireball. Interesting ramp up of enemies. Wish the zombies were a bit tougher.
Definitely playable, and trippy. Where's the villain?
Very ambitious jam entry here. Pretty hard to reign in the scope, I see. I hope this gets developed further, because there's an excellent start.
Very pretty and surprisingly fun!
Very nice, very pretty. Reminds me that I need to take this SHMUP I have off the back-burner some day and finish it.
Apologies, I don't run installers.
Very nice aesthetic, and I liked the way the plane turning is handled.
I would have pegged Kong for the villain but what do I know?
Solid entry. Kind of like a reverse Swords & Soldiers HD. Good job.
My high score was 000,000,000.
Really nice pixel art, brutally punishing game. I might have included a little blurb at the start about what the actual objectives were.
Cool. This could benefit a lot from some form of visual feedback on clicking the bad guys. Of course audio would help too but that's a given. Nice job.
Is the web link supposed to be a browser-playable version? It links to a .rar file via DropBox. Will check back later.
Best. You win.
Ran the EXE above on Win7/64, ran fine but could only be killed by ending the process via the Task Manager.
I didn't really understand the game, I guess I need to know more about how packets work. Also not sure how I'm the villain. The little drum march was nice.
Huh. I never considered making multiple accounts.
It's like Pokemon meets Hotline Miami. Winning combination!
Very impressive. You'd think this was made by people who actually knew what they were doing :)
Hey wow you managed to hit a lot of solid design points in 48 hours.
Where's the gorts, though? Oh... goats. I get it now.
I was only following orders.
What did the 5 fingers say to the weebum?
Hey everyone, thanks for checking it out.
I knew the controls were going to be an issue, and the version that everyone's played is the result of a lot of iterations specifically on the control scheme.
Originally it was free look/free move. However that would then have entailed a lot more collision handling and added more time to asset building. By restricting movement to a grid-like form, I was able to direct the player exactly where I wanted him/her to go & look.
When you've got 48 hours to execute on a vision, it's best to make constraints wherever possible.
Once I locked down the grid movement I also deliberated about full unlock on the camera rotation. This also caused issues as I use directional raycast for detecting movement. Because I didn't want to spend potential hours plugging every hole in every scene so that the player didn't actually jump to a movement volume in another room, I made each movement volume cover a very specific area of the view frustrum. This ensured that the player would never mis-click out into other zones and again be directed where I wanted.
I detuned the centering time right at the last minute and I think that may have contributed a bit to some of the feelings of frustration. Ideally I wanted the player to be able to move the camera to a "hotspot", interact as necessary, then have the camera jump back to zero. It felt (to me & other playtesters) more natural, like "ok, I'm done looking at that thing, what's next?" However finding just the right amount of time to give players to look before springing back was outside of the scope of the allotted time.
All in all I think I made the right design choices in order to complete the narrative run (however linear) and submit on time. I was working right up to the deadline, use all my available energy, and I think I still managed to pull it off.
Thanks all who've played so far and all yet to play, I do appreciate and hope I haven't wasted your time with this entry.

DAJ
Full marks for graphics. As usual.
I would have made a "first act is to suicide" a "win" condition. Was a bit disappointed that wasn't the case. Also would have given a "win" for getting gunned down by police without killing an innocent.
Bonus points for recording the crowd audio, that's always hard to do during compo.
Excellent music, great take on the theme, perfect work with the sprites. Nice job.
Hm, both 32/64 builds unresponsive on Win7/64 :/
Waiting for your playable. Screenshots look good.
I would have put a mute button in.
Always impressed with what you managed to come up with gameplay-wise in less than 48 hours, and this is no exception. Good work.
P.S. Check back on my entry for a full explanation of the design choices I made ;)
You definitely managed to nail the "bullet hell" aesthetic. I couldn't seem to kill Michael.
Pretty cool. I need an instruction manual, though.
Always fun making globes ;)
Wow, that's a lot of visually impressive asset work for 48 hours. Fantastic job.
I really couldn't figure out how to get inside the house :/
I wanted to eat the goat.
Nice graphics, great audio, spooky BGM.
This is fantastic. Excellent work.
Wait, you gave up? Not sure how to rate that.
I like the aesthetic you were going for.
I like these kinds of things. If games can be classified the same way art is, this style is definitely part of the "Brutalist" movement. Good work.
I think I like this more than Trainyard.
Nice job. Didn't quite understand why I was the villain. The newspaper was a very nice touch, would benefit from some SFX.
Now this is how you get a game done, by employing child labor.
I would have recorded a few more samples for each hotspot, but I know how temperamental kids can be.
This was...
a MAZE ing.
YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
I got that I was the big ship, and could select turrets. Beyond that I was confused as to what I was supposed to do.
Very charming. I'd have made the mouse sensitivity just a bit lower, and I think there's a way to disable the right-mouse context menu in the webplayer, isn't there?
I love these because they're short & to the point. Great work.
Nice little de-make of Dungeons/Dungeon Keeper. Good work for 48 hours.
Cool concept, and I liked the real-time build though I would have put the build status somewhere on the main screen so I didn't need to keep clicking back to the castle.
Not sure why, but the Unity Web Player isn't loading. I've got the latest plug-in & running Chrome on Win7.
Yeah, you gotta remove the "s" from the https in your web link :)
This was really good. It's pretty incredible that you managed to model/rig/animate humanoids in under 48 hours. I'm still struggling with that. Good work.
Not sure what's up but the domain "grahamweldon.com" isn't connecting (web build). I'll try again later.
Pretty. Not as pretty as your previous non-Unity entries, but pretty nonetheless.
I would have tuned the mouselook down a bit, it was slightly herky-jerky which detracted from the mood.
Let's see who breaks their streak first ;)
Pretty good for only 1/2 time. I guess I might have understood better what was going on if you'd used another 24 hours.
Not sure what happened there. It started, I saw an island and some whirlpools, then I seemed to sail off to the top right corner swarmed by boats.
This is better than FTL.
The goat is the killscreen? Funny.
Loved the bass sound.
Pretty neat, a lot of good work for 48 hours.
I could think of worse things than being stuck with a "chick".
This was amazingly fun. It only fired one SFX and then was silent for the rest of the play (Chrome). Always nice to play a complete game during the compo.
No Linux here, soz.
Pretty fun! I would have put in a quick splash detailing the controls & how the jumps increased the bonus, but it was all fairly intuitive. Nice work.
Some good ideas in here, nice interaction system, needs more work.
Am I the villain? What if I was wrongfully accused?
Nice graphics. Just shooting the big bottle was instant win?
CAMERA SHAKE.
Great work, lots of variety. If you're going to have players reading text before starting, might as well toss in the controls there IMHO.
Nice complete little experience. I might have added a more obvious indicator for when the disguise failed. Great art & sound.
Great execution on the aesthetic, I might have made it a bit faster and added one or two more attacks. I can see this not taking long to jump to a commercial release. Good work!
Nice. I wonder if it would have had the same impact if you'd chosen different characters. Also highlights just how sophisticated the real Pac Man AI is.
Nice Dungeon Keeper de-make.
I checked out the gameplay video and I was like, "holy shit these graphics are ultra realistic". Then I realized that was you.
So, it's a voice activated phone game?
Now I'm deaf and really want to play my Atari.
Very impressive. I can see a lot of potential for an expanded version of this.
You do know this compo was theme-based, right? Well, congrats on finishing a game in less than 12 years :)
Great artwork & sound. I would have brightened the palette a bit, it ended up seeming a bit dark & flat.
I'd give full marks for innovation but that runner is OP.
As above.
Very nice, clean little game. I would have made some of the larger "enemies" require a few hits, with some knockback & screaming.
Great job :)
Better luck next time.
Is this really what being OCD is like? Brutal.
Beautiful.
Augh, it sucks to lose so much work.
What's this plugin it's asking me to install?
Thanks for making the video, it was very helpful since I don't have any friends to play with.
Okay you managed to include a level editor. Full marks just for that.
Dat aspect ratio. Would have greatly benefitted from a barrel roll feature.
After this LD I think everyone who's rated will be familiar with Mondrian. Nice little bit of design here, couldn't get the swf to load but the download was fine.
Made me want to play SPAZ. So I played SPAZ & lost like 2 hours of productivity. So, good job.
Kinda neat & good art style but I seemed to run so far that stuff stopped spawning. Also the lack of depth perception fighting a bit of a pain. Maybe with an auto-locking ranged weapon that would be more fun.
Still managed to squeeze in a bit of Mondrian influence. I like this concept a lot, good work.
Interesting. Grid-based movement & jumping was actually kinda intuitive after a while. Checkpoints before deathtraps please.
Very cool. I could see this being used to help older people with their spatial skills.
Excellent camera control.
Got to level 4 before my brain got tired. Cool mechanic & I can see how easy it would be to design levels for this so excellent use of resources here.
This definitely makes me think HTML5 is viable for gamedev. Some minor bugs with the physics but overall it works & was enjoyable for what it was.
Good effort, nailed the theme.
Epic. A triumph of modern indie game development. 6/5 stars.
Too complex for my tiny brain.
This is brutally difficult.
I especially enjoyed knocking down the Mondrian. Full marks for humor. Nice work.
Very nice single-button design.
Best name ever. Got stuck on the "fire room". This game is actually a game, great work.
Really had no idea what was going on but the whole feel of it was nice. Like some kind of abstract Pac-Man.
Would be cool to see what you could do if you had time.
Congrats on submitting.
Thanks for coming back to my entry, & thank you for the detailed feedback.
Red & blue make purple. This is based on color theory, not digital mixing. For further reference: http://bit.ly/DAColorTheory
Also re: opening to rate on click - I apologize if replacing the game with the rate page seemed rude to you, but so far it's been very effective because I prefer to refer people to my game's page first, and ratings page second via bit.ly link. It helps with analytics.
Cheers!
Insta-killed on spawn at wave 7. Perhaps a "safe zone" starting area would make that a little less unpleasant. Good concept, great work.
Goal for next LD: deploy an EXE or better yet to browser.
Good effort, needs tuning but runs fine on my Nexus 7.
Thank you for introducing me to Steve Hughes. Game's great too.
Cool little design. I guess it's a points chase but if the object is really survive then all I had to do was wait in a corner... I wonder if adding some other feature that forced you to hunt the zombies would have helped, like maybe if you have some bar that's draining and is only re-filled by zombie blood or something.
Love the aesthetic. Personally not the biggest fan of "do it again, stupid" game design, maybe the ability to preview the level before launching would ease that pain a bit. Otherwise one of the most solid entries of the 100+ I've played so far.
Asteroids.
I love how Starseed Pilgrim has rejuvenated this school of design. Unfortunately it's very tricky to get just right.
Killed some slimes & guardians. Not sure of those other dudes were NPCs or what, couldn't interact. Full points for trippy splash screen.
This is really great work for 48 hours. Well done.
I got dizzy playing this, for real. Couldn't figure out how to win/lose. Also please include a link to your scripts otherwise you risk disqualification from the compo.
See comment on video. Full points for theme.
Wow, those trees are GREAT for 48 hours, and a good start on some interesting experimental gameplay.
Full points for theme.
Full marks for theme.
Nailed the theme.
There's a great idea in here. Good use of the theme, gameplay was a bit frustrating for me. If this was a fully developed platformer with these mechanics it would be very interesting.
Waiting for a working build.
The style is this is really great. I think if the avatar had a shadow it would make some of the jumping portions a little less frustrating. Lovely jam.
Clever.
Good effort.
Solid little game. Get it? The joke is that it's small.
I probably didn't press space enough.
Great mashup here, excellent work for 48 hours.
Lovely potato. Hit detection was a bit wonky but I go to the "end". Nice reference to your previous King game ;)
Good effort.
Cool. Someone's been playing Starseed Pilgrim.
Very nice visual design.
Argh. Couldn't get past the level that said "the levels are getting harder". Still, pretty engaging for just greyscale blocks.
All around good entry. The ad for the other game was a nice touch, too.
Under the bright potato sun.
I totally would have played this in my GBA days.
Requires friends.
Runs perfectly on Nexus 7. Bit irritating to flip the device 360... might be nicer with a phone.
Really pretty, excellent visual design for 48 hours. Entries like these make me kick myself for not spending more time doing speed-rigging.
Best.
The gameplay video is much appreciated as I got lost while playing. Maybe having the controls on the browser game page would help a little. Nice concept, cute scientist.
Congrats on your 2nd LD entry. I seem to lack the musical aptitude to perform well in this...
Congrats on your 1st LD.
It's amazing what you can achieve in just an hour. Imagine what you'd do with 48?
Not sure if abstracting movement out to menus is a minimization or an increase in complexity, but I like the intent.
FULL MARKS FOR ANALOG SUBMISSION.
I wish I had a friend.
Congrats on submitting your 1st LD!
Congratulations on your 1st LD submission.
Unclear what the objective was.
Second minigame was a bit of a middle finger & I didn't "get" the transitions. Solid effort.
This is good. Better on touch. Great work.
Excellent game, would love to see it expanded with more reactive audio & effects.
If you take this further, adding "fuel" would be a good idea. Death, too ;) Not sure how the theme applies here but not like it really matters.
Good start to a platformer.
Trippy.
Where's the rest of the *$%*# blue team? :) Collision detection was kinda wonky but I got the idea.
Cool, second spline game I've come across. Really nice design. Congrats on your 1st game!
Oh wow this triggers the nostalgia vibe pretty hard. If you'd used some of the MS Paint patterns it would have been perfect for that. Nice work.
Good work on your 1st LD!
Yep, that was the fin. Nice graphics, BGM.
This is frustrating. Good thing I'm drunk.
Certainly captured the old-school aesthetic, nice visual work.
I think I don't know enough about bonsai to "get" this game, but it seems interesting.
Full marks for fun. The seeds of something wonderful are planted here.
I think the bot is cheating.
Good first effort.
Very cool lighting & effects demo. Full points for graphics.
My visual memory seems incapable of storing the paths to most of these. I wonder if more clues/indicators would help & make it a little less frustrating. Nice aesthetic.
It seemed to crash after losing at pong, just a black screen & audio. Full points for mood. Nice visual work.
Good little game.
What is AntiCulture's Trance generator ?
Listening to the inspiration track certainly enhances this experience.
Neat mash-up, could benefit from tuning but good concept.
Congrats on your first LD.
This was aMAZEing. It also could have been 3x resolution without compromising on the theme, my old & tired eyes were even older & tireder after playing.
It's amazing how much we rely on visual feedback to determine progress. I painted a town & wasn't sure if anything was happening until I moused over the zones. Cool concept, definitely minimal.
That escalated quickly. Not sure how the shooting mechanism works, maybe if it was a bit more clear it would be less frustrating. Good minimal style.
The jump detection was a bit frustrating, & a meter showing how much time in the shadows was remaining would have been most welcome.
I'm a hoarder. I loaded this & was like "what's the problem?"
Seriously though, great work. You-Schlep. Love it.
The opening cinematic was brilliant. I liked the graphics.
Congratulations on both your 1st LD & 1st game deploy. Here's to many more.
Congrats on your 1st LD!
There's something deep happening here; perhaps I attained enlightment & didn't realize it.
Wow this is pretty. Is the bezier stuff hand-coded or something available on the Unity store? Either way, great implementation!
Congrats on finishing your 1st LD.
Very unique experience, excellent design. Would like to see this concept expanded.
Pretty neat. I would have aligned the horizontal fireballs a little closer to the enemy paths & offered the player some way to regain health.
I'm a sucker for super-clean iso graphics. Really nice tone.
This was very well done. I considered using a color theory chart as an aide for players in mine, but it was so short & "obvious" that I left it out. Maybe it would have been helpful in yours that relied so much on knowing the mixes. Still, great work & lots of nice color mixing mechanics!
Yay Timmy.
I have returned to the stars, ablaze.
Wow, this looks gorgeous.
Congrats on your 1st LD entry.
Was there a difficulty curve in this? Seemed like I could play forever & ended up killing myself after about 5 minutes.
I like how intuitive this is, I didn't like how I couldn't find the blocks. I'd say that balances out.
This fishing is ridiculous. Nice work.
I don't have matlab but points for using an obscure (to me) dev system.
Made me want to play more Cart Life. Full marks for theme.
Amazing work for 48 hours.
Every time I "play" one of these I keep thinking how they'd work with graphics. I think this one would work quite well.
Very clever.
Repetitive.
Congrats on your 1st LD.
Congrats on your 1st LD.
Yep, that's some minimal shooting. Thanks for also reminding me to update Java.
Very lovely style.
Some interesting level design.
Excellent game design, with a little more audio variety this will be something great.
Was kinda hoping you'd tone the visuals down for this one. Excellent work as always.
K to Kill Yourself.
This an interesting experiment. Good work.
Interesting concept, very difficult in the execution. Also a minor aesthetic nitpick but the vector perfect circles of light might have fit the art style better if they were more aliased. Congrats Shirmung on the 1st LD Jam.
Working with an actual musician must be an awesome luxury. Great jam entry.
Balls.
Hypnotic. Good work on the visuals.
There really should be an "indie" rating category. I guess it's "mood".
Ikaruga, the platformer? Nice filter effects.
Good job.
A "beginner" or "training" mode that showed a ghost of where you'd warp to would have been nice to get the rhythm down before the brutal punishment of playing the actual game.
Good job on your 1st LD.
Oh well done. More developers should spend time working on analog game designs.
I played this for 15 minutes without fully understanding what I was doing so I guess that's good. Great title/music.
Good job considering it was your first time with the tech.
It got quite hectic at the end. Reminded me of worm + Flow. Really nice job.
This was a rather complicated experience. I think in my old age I find myself with less & less patience for this sort of thing but that's on me. I liked the map & the rabbit? character.
I liked that I could review the story, because I felt like I could only concentrate on either the words or the sequence. I wasn't sure if time was ticking down or how the Energy/Action meters factored into it. The beep was irritating.
Good effort. Not sure if I'd personally submit anything I didn't feel wasn't wasting people's time, so points for bravery.
Nice little design. Wish I had a friend to play this with.
Interesting concept, could benefit from further development & more player instruction.
Thanks for the feedback on my entry. I'm clueless about Linux deploy so those comments are helpful for the future.
As for the player introduction to controls & the confusion over how to change the light colors I'm curious what wasn't clear about the controls introduced on the RED stage?
When you pick up the red bulb two large arrows appear on the bottom of the screen & the orb before the player lights red. The arrows don't disappear until the player presses up & down, changing the color from the beginning white to red & back again.
This seems clear to many players.
If you have any suggestion on how to make this even more apparent to the player, I would welcome it.
Thanks again.
Nice melange of the classics. Good work.
Here's a hint for "RED" in PRISMA: match the two orbs with the same BRIGHT color. Timing is important.
Same issue as negativeview, also with browser (Chrome, latest Java).
Worked perfectly on my Nexus 7. I do believe this is the first LD game I've played on it. Good job.
Too bad the theme wasn't "potato", this would have ranked pretty highly. How do you win?
Once I figured out what to do it was interesting.
Congrats on submitting & I'm glad you had fun.
Absolutely gorgeous. Amazing what can be done with an extra 24 hours & a collaborator or two!
I updated my project page with a hint for RED. Cheers.
Hey, neat concept. Great work, full marks for originality.
I give all analog games full points. Good work.
Pretty ambition for an LD. Made me want to play Black Market.
I wonder what this would be like finished.
Full marks for humor.
Couldn't get over the first wall.
What do I do with the source?
This is a promising beginning.
A very complex entry for just 48 hours. Great work, liked the audio the best.
A perfect game. Excellent work.
I like the honesty in presentation.
Building good one-buttons games is harder than it sounds. Good work.
Good concept, & nice effort for learning a new engine.
For some reason I kept thinking I needed to jump down into the holes. Also the controls were slightly laggy, could be my net connection tho.
Art.
Nice aesthetic. I would have put the instructions somewhere in the game or on the deploy page. Helpful definition.
Nice artist statement.
Congrats on entering & good luck with the post-compo version.
Still a better narrative than Braid.
Nice work.
Sorry, dangerous download warning on my browser on the .exe
Looks interesting though.
Are you really a Ninja?
Good job but if I were gonna make a game in Twine I'd give the player a few more choices than "advance", makes it too easy to just skip to the end.
Good effort.
Like the aesthetics, very clean. A little more player-instruction in the form of controls & fail state notification would be most welcome.
Pretty funny, good job on the improvised SFX/BGM. Couldn't figure out how to protect the bus but I don't think it matters. This could be the next McPixel.
This would probably be way better on touch than it is with mouse. Still, good concept & good execution.
Nice, but I'm never gonna die.
Good job, nailed the theme.
Nice faces.
Browser warning on the .zip download, discarded. Sorry.
The "cross-platform" doesn't open on my machine: Win7/64
Yes, this concept was very well-executed. It almost feels like a professional response-time tester for psychological purposes. Great job.
"fast-paced unique, innovative"
I'll be the judge of that.
Okay, it's got nice graphics & a well-executed concept. Great work with character customization. I'd probably make the "type display" text in the shop screen faster/skippable & also allow the player to buy something right off the bat.
Good job for 48 hours.
The music was the best part of this. I would have done the tutorial messages nearer the player and larger.
Holy smokes this is great. The writing is top-notch, going to need more time to fully digest this one so giving some tentative high ratings here. Good work.
Not sure how the 10 seconds come into play? Maybe I gave up too soon. Nice little maze-navigator aside from that.
I like the control explanation page.
Couldn't get past the Mediafire puzzle.
*breathE
And that amazing art and then I'm a square. Reminded me of the old Atari days. Nice job.
As far as the "platformers that straight-up use 10 seconds" as a mechanism, this has been by far the prettiest I've come across. A little on the tedious side, might be better if the theme was "5 seconds" instead. Congrats on your 1st entry!
Congrats on your firsts, Collin Clifton.
I might have gone ahead & modeled some sex organs, cuz normally I don't stroke the bed. Good job!
Congrats on your 1st Ludum Dare!
Congrats on finishing your first LD.
Very cool, like a simplified Galcon. Nice job.
Okay so really nice little tiny retro-ish pixels but not sure where the 10 seconds comes in? I win in just 37.442 seconds.
Cool idea. The music samples can overlap which is cool in some cases but a little annoying if you advance the level. I'd have them cut off if the player advances.
Nice work.
Lots of cool stuff in there for 48 hours. Good execution.
Should probably post this as a general question somewhere but I think even including stuff that's "not meant to be judged" is against the rules. By that logic, you could make a game with another artist's art & say "don't judge the art" but it would affect the overall impression of the game. /shrug
Sound concept, a little tedious for my liking. I kept wanting to move the wizard more freely.
Seems familiar.
Someone buy Icarus a copy of NGUI already. Dat default Unity GUI... /shudder
Very interesting concept. I like the web-deploy. Nice work.
I'm not a good enough thief to figure this one out. Is it like Minesweeper or something?
Heyyyy this was pretty neat. Way more fun to me than Total War but I have little patience for that these days. Good work.
Pretty cool idea. I found that just violently shaking the mouse up and down let me win, I stopped at 21/50K when I realized it was endless. I might have made the "edge" colliders further apart, that could have helped with the collision issues. Nice music, nice graphics.
I hear sounds & have a taskbar icon but no game window. Win7/64 and yes I have vcredist.
Will check back for a working version.
Good job for 4 hours.
I get the "hazardous download" warning in Chrome, sorry.
I get the "dangerous download" warning in Chrome, sorry.
Congrats on your 1st LD.
