I really really love the idea behind this game, but I can't quite get it to work :c
Am I doing something wrong?
Maybe a hint about how to get past the first level would help!
Fantastic concept, I'd happily play a full game around this idea. :D
Does it work at all? I think I understood your idea, but it didn't help me... random attempts to say something had no result either.
I didn't know how to play...
Cool proof-of-concept, let us know if it gets developed further.
Tried it in Firefox. Maybe I didn't get it but couldn't get much to happen. :-)
I think I get what you meant with the symbols, but I couldn't get anything to happen.
Thanks to everyone who played (or attempted to), it probably was working, you just didn't know it because of the terrible UI. I am actually planning on developing this further, although hopefully the UI and level of polish will render the finished product unrecognisable.
The "solution" for those who are interested is to ask the "bird" to TMMN (Tell Me My Name) then to tell the "door" the symbol the bird replies with. At that point you get the fantastic ending animation.
