LD20 — It's Dangerous to Go Alone! Take This!

I Hate Games With Powerups! by pauloseamano 2011-05-07T15:51:00

Very addicting and easy to understand what is going on from the get go.

You need to have XNA 3.1 or higher to play this.

It was well made, although I got stuck onto one of the buildings.

Fortunately, clicking "install" isn't too much of a challenge for me. Great game, I especially like the art style.

The certificate is now my screensaver.

Very nice animations, quite challenging too but also addictive.

LD21 — Escape

Runner! .. and his problems.. 1.1 by Folis 2011-08-21T19:21:00

It crashed for me also when replaying the game.

This error message appeared when it crashed:

FATAL ERROR in

of Step Event
for object obj_play:

Moving to next room after the last room.

Thanks for the feedback :)
I'm not aware of a way to allow someone to play an XNA game without needing an installer.
If you know a way I can allow them to without one, I'd be eager to know :)

Forever alone Simulator 2012 by King_Pancake 2011-12-17T21:42:00

I don't know where to begin my praise.
Should I start with the depth and addictiveness of the game play?
The deep, but easy to follow story?
Or the simplistic, but effective art style?

I could go into more detail of why this is not only a contender for winning this competition, but a contender for game of the year.
But I don't have the time to write a lengthy love letter to this amazing game as I have my own entry to work on.
All I will say is this, I've finally found a game that is keeping me off Skyrim.

Great job 10/10.
