Got a source archive anywhere? I'd like to take a look at this :)

Was hoping flesh would form around the fossil =P

http://www.draknek.org/dance/?dino=iyj OOO IT'S A GHOST

Awesome game! Not much else to say, it's pretty simple but I still found it kinda fun to mess with.

Dance off with me yeaaah

increpare 2010-12-20 11:37

needs music

hellfang 2010-12-20 11:57

Fun to mess around with, would be nice if you could add stuff to the 'dinosaur' after it's created. Just being able to whack on googly eyes would make a big difference. Cool idea!

zillix 2010-12-20 17:33

Very unique game. Would like an option to slow things down a little so I can better customize =P
The online interactivity is pretty neat!

starspell 2010-12-20 17:36

Very funny and a really nice game to play around with. Needs an in-game code input to dance off against other dinos and a reload button of some sort so you don't need to refresh the page all the time.

Also where is the dino head I was promised? A good update would be to have different types of bones in the ones that are dropped. Not just normal bones but curved bones, pelvises, skulls, hands and feet. Then it would look totally crazy!

stevejohnson 2010-12-20 19:47

How can you have a dance-off with no music? (Other than that, I love it)

plams 2010-12-20 20:03

This is fun :-) Would be nice with a retry button instead of F5.

Simple yet engaging. Excellent work.

ikipiki 2010-12-21 00:17

nice work, it would be better with dinosaur noise on complete

the-jack 2010-12-21 04:26

Hah! I laughed. Well-executed, good work.

entar 2010-12-21 05:02

Heheheheh.

korywazhere 2010-12-21 14:09

ha ha, great stuff =D

endurion 2010-12-21 16:26

Neat concept, especially the dance off.
Not really that much of a game though ;)
This could really use a bit more of decoration on the skeleton. Eyes, beards and pirate fledges.

thatsnail 2010-12-21 22:55

REINDEER FOOLS!

SUCK IT.

This is so neat I love it.

pentadact 2010-12-22 00:29

Ha, great idea. The physics seem surprisingly good - wobbly stuff has a tendency to spaz out in a lot of games.

The ability to link your dinosaur and dance with others is ace, but I did want a bit more interactivity to make it personal.

Good job overall! Wish I knew how to do cool web backend stuff like this.

Nice idea. I'm wondering if twitter will help you to get more or better votes.

This was my most-dinosaur-like bone stack:

I think you've got potential. It's a stretch of my imagination to consider the wobbly rubble that fell the skeleton of a creature. Dancing off with others interested me. But it like at least one dino (posted above) beat me without having seeing any bones at all.

dertom 2010-12-25 13:27

Haha,...that one rulez!

philomory 2010-12-28 03:38

Made me smile.

Definitely a good time-sink I think I made about 20 different dinosaur things.

This may be the best: http://www.draknek.org/dance/?dino=3yln

Aw no timelapse. But you still get an extra point for community because of the dance off feature. Though your one seems to win all the time.

Very cool game. I can't add anything new to the chain of praises already been written. So yeah. I guess this is one of the top candidates.

brighterorange 2011-01-09 19:05

Haha!!
A superb one-minute game. Very creative.
