He's way too fat to climb. I had fun, but I just couldn't find the last remaining treasure and gave up :(
It's not really possible to outmaneuver enemies. If the ship didn't stop without thrust it'd be possible to strafe them, and then it'd be much more fun.
Controls are a bit glitchy; guy moves unevenly, and it's hard to escape from dynamite. Is this just my system? (running game in Parallels; a virtual machine)
Interesting. But I feel compelled to "cheat" (watch the sequence again and again in another window) because there some symmetric, alien-looking shapes you can make that don't solve the puzzle.
Love the atmosphere, and the motion blur that forces you to stop now and then, but got bored too soon.
Nice take on a simple maze game :)
Interesting. Needs more depth, but very nice for an 8hr effort.
It gets boring constantly digging through the "fog" - I'd prefer something similar to Nethack with line-of-sight clearing of the "fog". Also, there's not any real challenge or danger in the game - I never had to ration my energy.
Some matches are pretty fun :) I'd like more linguistic fun, like how the Monkey Island retorts can be used for two different sets of insults.
Gorgeous soundtrack! Stylish graphics. I like it! Would be nice with a map, getting too old for mazes :)
5 theme stars right there buddy :D You're lucky I don't prefer the keyboard layout my nationality (danish) would suggest, or it'd be unplayable (better listen to joekinley to make it more globally accessible). Controls are a bit twitchy. Would be great if you'd have to release the keys at the right time also, but there seems to be key repeat which sucks.
Great game. Love the Groundhog Day'ish gameplay. I escaped through the portal, but two doors remained locked - one at the start and one with a symbol behind it - are they unfinished plot elements, or just there to annoy? :)
Ooh, more to discover! Never found a path to the one saying "help". I reached a dying person ("it's.. it's you", I think she said) but that was in another location?
Oh, the path is easy - just very hard to reach there in time. Maybe if there were some remains and an explanation that you didn't make it in time, it would make more sense.
Shame you didn't have more time, but nice for a 6hr effort. The destinations didn't make a lot of sense (a lot of nearby systems, but I can only travel enormous lengths?!). Needs more discovery and challenge,.. perhaps like in Star Control II where star temperature is related to mineral richness, but also more dangerous :)
*bounce* -> "ooh, I discovered reverse!"; very nice integration of theme, gameplay and story altogether. I wish it was more challenging though - not in a way where you need insane precision, but in a cerebral way.. perhaps if the X discovered Braid-style time travel... :-)
Nice idea :) Now if only they attempted moving with arms for legs,...
Seems more like a piece of art.
Hammering helicopters? Preposterous! But quite fun! Effective usage of primitive means :)
Nice!
Pretty. But it "crashes" in both Chromium and Firefox here :-/
Awesome atmosphere and mood! I got quite far, but then a lot of clones of me spawned and the game slowed down to a crawl :-( Pressing R didn't solve it. Please fix the bugs, as I'd really like to play this game to completion!
Can't rate high on theme, and I don't enjoy these kinds of combination games. But the audio is gorgeous!
The siege tank trick works pretty well (shooting turrets from a distance).
Time-lapse video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gkvtMDfrlUc
Happened to me, too! My game has heaps of bugs :-(
According to PoV, stability fixes are okay after deadline, so I've applied the following very simple patches (if it offends anyone, I'll revert to the old version)

mitch - you can move backwards and push with the back of your "ship" :-)
Pretty fun game. I get the feeling this idea was for the 'digging' theme though :)
Very cool! However, in your code, before placing each monster, you should do a check that it's actually "mortal"; I played one game where a squeleton was only reachable by a ranger, so the game was unbeatable from the start. Also, there's seemingly no advantage of landing several heroes at the same time, except perhaps impatience :) So perhaps some teamwork elements could be woven into the game? I also quickly forgot what strengths and weaknesses each hero had (opened the intro in another window:) so a little reference card would be great.
Nice toilet sounds and graphics! Too random with the combinations, though.
Nice idea, but interface needs improvement.
I enjoyed that it had several mini-games. However, I found myself battling game mechanics a few times (especially in the last level) rather than the game itself (better "physics" would do the trick methinks)
Very nice little dungeon crawler :) I think I found a cursed welding mask.
Very addictive. Kudos! Only missing some save option, like [enter code word] in old games or such.
Pretty fun. The graphics is reminiscent of those c64 games where you have no idea what it's supposed to look like, but it looks cool :) Moody indeed.
Great game. Ladder mechanics seems a little unforgiving. And I've been looking a long time for the last missing piece. Can't find any more crumbling hidden doors :-/
"Bird destroyed!" - hahaha. Objective or not, I love oribiter style games (this is the best: http://orbit.medphys.ucl.ac.uk). Nice cloud of satellites :-) Found the moon, but I bounced right off.
This is fun :-) Would be nice with a retry button instead of F5.
Needs a lot more depth, yet this somehow seems like a good start for a good game if the sonar idea was expanded.
I want to fly it!
Interesting gameplay! As with any maze-y game, I'd really like something to help me keep track of where I've been and where I'm going. The last game where I thought that drawing maps with pencil and paper was fun was Hacker II :-) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hacker_2)
Beautiful art, and good humor :)
It has a boulderdash feel to it :)
It made me laugh a lot :) The thing reminded me a bit of Gary in Red vs Blue.
I like the balance of stealth and zapping guards
The game is really hard, I lost my shield a lot! I could've used some save points but otherwise the game is fun!
I kept wanting to go further to the right than half of the screen. Nice little game!
Telaporta On Line! I made it through, nice game!
I have now seen cherubim hump each other. I got stuck outside the screen a couple of times. Fun concept!
A really great game, and a lot of fun! Felt rewarding to kill with the deflector. Made it to the end and enjoyed all of it. Neither too easy or hard, it started out with a feeling of hopelessness, but then I found stuff and got on top of things. Good work, and good voice acting :)
Quite enjoyable small game :) Very weird!
Seems like the sprint mode would be great fun at parties, like a keyboard version of twister or something :) Good job!
Haha, that was fun! The main mechanic had a really nice setup - during the intro you see the machine falling twice and think "heh, that's weird and fun", but when it turned into the main gameplay element I laughed out loud.
Nice game. Reminds me of 868-HACK
This game is hectic!
Nice art style. Some levels had multiple exits, but I always used the easier one. E.g. the last level, just don't activate the lever and go for the exit. I have no idea how I'd be able to reach the other one, maybe there's something about the game I don't understand or maybe it's impossible :)
Wow, the game got really chaotic before I got to 9 kills :) The graphics is really fun.
Nice puzzle game. It has a nice incremental feel to it, i.e. not everything is lost if you make a mistake and you can resolve it by local re-routing. Not sure I understood the right-click thing, but I got to the utilitarian ending (I reckon there's one more ending?) without using it.
Nice droning soundtrack, why did you opt out for audio judgment?
What a hard and great game! Even though the crab moves really fast it feels like you're in control. The music is great! I made it until level 24 before it got too difficult.
Hehe, I scored 6148 points by mashing all the keys at once :)
That was a fun take on the theme :) I got stuck in the other weapon though
I really liked the puzzles :)
Great atmosphere and music! Nice game! Oh, and I managed to break the game by pressing space twice at a door :) (got stuck)
I managed to get down to "-2 enemies to kill" :)
Great atmosphere. I found 4 substances, maybe I need more, but I couldn't figure out how to solve that.
"Yee haaw" :) Fun little game.
Couldn't solve it, but the music and the spirits are gorgeous.
God this game is hard! (but probably not harder than mine). Could definitely be more generous with the save points :) But it was a lot of fun! Not sure I made it through, got all the way to the right and waited for the timer to run out.
@rnlf - now I finished it :) Another suggestion - it's a precision game and the jumping is a bit too unforgiving. I think some games have like a tiny timer that starts when you walk off something (transition from "on ground" to "in air") so that if you manage to press jump before the timer runs out the jump still succeeds. We're talking a small time out like 5 frames. Might be worth trying out.
Wow! Thumbs up in the art and mood department!
Sorry couldn't play your game in Wine - got a vertex shader compilation error.
Nice atmosphere with lack of visibility
Great music! The aiming reminded me of Binding of Isaac
Wow this game is glitchy :) Great music!
Like others say, I have no idea what I'm doing, but it's pretty captivating :) Thumbs up in the art department!
Couldn't play it - doesn't work with Wine
It was rewarding to figure out the puzzle on the second screen, but then I wanted more :(
I really like the wacky music and graphics :-) Fun game, although the game very suddenly becomes crazy difficult and I start spamming Q,W,E and LMB, and then I die. Also one of the better interpretations of the theme I've seen. Good job!
MilkyTracker! Anywhere I can get the .xm? :)
Unity web player doesn't work under Linux. Could you do a WebGL or Linux build?
Oh the literal innuendo :)
That's no Picasso! But great art none the less, kept laughing throughout a couple of levels :) Well done!
Nice game, made it through! Although the hitboxes took some getting used to it had the desirable property where it feel like it's my fault when I die, not the game's fault. Nice minimalistic music, I wasn't annoyed by it even though it repeated every few seconds.
I got 321/320 kills! Didn't manage to use the frisbee effectively, but otherwise a very fun lure/kill/evade gameplay. Like throwing brains at zombies!
Nice lighting! Also the only game I've played where I have assassinated the president with a potato!
Cool, the enemies on the ground look Alien inspired :) Nice (but short) game
Goes without saying this could really use some audio :) Nice art and fun little game nonetheless!
Doesn't work in Wine (vertex shader compilation problem), but it looks interesting.
Fun idea, although not much of a challenge :) The art is neat! The concept might be too chaotic for a "real game" (hard to aim the gunchuck), but I'd still like to try it in platformer or beat em up game.
Nice game! My Bubble Bobble instinct had me trying to jump into bubbles to kill them :) I wasn't able to kill with the poison or thorns. Pushing enemies into the abyss with Air Blast was most effective for me.
Ha ha! There's a Monkey Island swordfighting vibe to it :) Good fun!
Fun mechanic, felt satisfying to spam enemies. I would have liked a boss or something - I think I killed everything :)
I was horrified midgame when I realized I had limited ammo, um, pens. Made it through though.
Neat little game! The hacking could use some streamlining as I found it tedious to click inside/outside the textbox, but otherwise good job. (Also, the admin password is perfect)
Nice game! It was satisfying to figure out the various way to kill enemies
That was some excellent puzzles all the way through to the end! I really like the recursiveness of some of the levels. Great atmosphere also. Great work!
Nice game! Good puzzles and level design!
That was fun :) I gather the only thing you can do is run from the flaming bears?
I love the pencil graphics :)
Fun game! Is it wrong that I like the glitchy music? :p
I wasn't able to get the game working under Wine, seems drag'n'drop is broken or something else. Shame, I really wanted to try it.
Amazing job with all this music!
The boss is hard! I'd like a save point just before. Twice I got hit by a block while carrying another block, and they seemed to "cancel" each other out - I lost my block but survived. Might be a bug since I couldn't do it consistently, but it felt like interesting gameplay :)
Fun short game! I made it through, but I'm not sure why my gun starts shooting stars when my slimies turn against me.
Couldn't get your game to work. I got it running under Wine but it seems like text might be missing. I figured out that WASD, space and G does things, but I couldn't even reach the first enemy.
Interesting idea! Reminds me a bit of Paradroid. Not sure what effect "Increase host integration" had other than lower their health. Could be interesting if you could somehow influence their behavior with it.
That was pretty fun. Interesting mixture of turn-based and real-time elements. Good thing the projectiles time out because I'm pretty sure I sent some of them off at escape velocity :)
Nice concept and art!
Nice that backstabbing is instakill. Couldn't get very far though.
Nice sounds and art :)
That was a fun game! I almost solved it without spoilers, I guessed I had to throw the moon at the sun, but I tried to to it by landing on the opposite side and shooting.
Nice game. I would've loved to be able to use the keyboard keys instead of the mouse. It turns into a memory game, but there still seems to be some internal logic to which letters are *ULTRA EFFECTIVE* :)
The game works in Wine on Linux by the way (otherwise I couldn't play it)
I have no Windows computer and the game doesn't run with Wine
Funny game :) I like how I was able to hit the parasol on the edge so the rest of the dump hit the man. Great level names.
Neat! It gets easier once you get the hang of dragging a whole cluster of balls with you. I think I finished it (smiley). Nice touch with the advancing wall of doom :)
I had fun :) Got all but 2 endings.
It's really hard and confusing to begin with, but then you get the hang of it and it gets really fun. Nice touch that it saves your highscore :) 213 points is the best I could do.
Haha, the solo attack is really awarding. Nice game :) And yeah, our takes on the theme are eerily similar! Also, the guitar guy has a Guybrush Threepwood look to him.
Took a while to figure out you had to add numbers, but it was rewarding :) Controls are a bit glitchy, feels like moving on an invisible grid. Music is nice!
Gorgeous art! And it made me feel guilty for killing so many goats :)
The game lacks some financial overview. By experimentation I figured out that only staff requires continuous funds, so the only way I could get income was by installing some things and then firing everybody :) It's very unfinished, yet promising! Also amazing you managed all this in 48h.
Nice game, reminds me of Thrust on C64, just without gravity. The game crashed after playing 5-10 levels though.
So I'm throwing stolen goods at the Federation? Nice little game.
I get an "advancing wall of doom" vibe even if there's none :) Nice art!
Nice! I like the Papers Please vibe to it, that there's more and more to keep track of and there's not enough time!
Very challenging, I died a lot!
