Fantastic all around!
New favourite! The mechanics are simple and fun, the game is presented beautifully. Difficulty is hard but you can get really good at the mechanics in a short time. Overall lovely!
Reminds me a lot of Dota's Invoker! The gameplay was very very fun, and I loved trying all the combos. Great work!
I couldn't get very far, but I like the wind mechanic.
I spawned as one of the blue players early in the game and started falling endlessly...is that a bug?
Seems to work now! Short & sweet game :)
I had a lot of fun with this!
Love it! The music is great and the sound matches it very nicely. I only wish there were fewer colour brightnesses so it would be a little easier to match colours. Either way, great job!
Cool mechanics, and love the cover art! Also really cool to see someone use puzzle script.
Love it! The zoom-in and slow-mo (as opposed to complete halt) made it difficult to use the mechanics at times, but it's a small nitpick for an all-around fantastic presentation.
Visuals are tremendous, and the song fits well. The movement was a little -too- precise and swift, but otherwise it's a solid concept and fun to play!
Absolutely gorgeous artwork!
One of my favourites (I'm a sucker for rhythm games). The timing can be a bit punishing but it's a very cool game overall. I love the detail where the main guitar stops after the main guitar player dies.
Great presentation, some parts of the levels were a little frustrating to retry but the atmosphere/graphics/audio worked very nicely!
Very solid game mechanics and presentation! Interesting weapon choice, too.
The fact that the weapon destroys walls and changes AI movement is very interesting. I think the game could be a lot better with a little explanation on how the weapon works.
My score: 227273, I always upped my charge speed. Anyway, very fun/addicting game and mechanic! Would be fantastic with a little audio.
My bad, I just had my volume off! Also props for using libGDX.
I really like the mechanics! Very clever. Not sure how it falls under the theme, though.
Got really tough near the second level, but the music was neat!
It's hard to tell when Z can be used, or where some obstacles are...but the music/graphics are nice!
Simple and funny! Great job.
Surprisingly very fun! And catchy beats, too. Movement was just a little weird (I think I stopped moving a couple times). Great job!
Very polished game! Soundtrack was great, idea is unique, and it's all funny as hell. I think only spacebar worked in the menu to select when it said enter, though.
Controls were a little too sensitive, but the concept is great!
The mood and concept for this game were very good. I enjoyed this one!
Really funny scenario! Catchy music, too.
Funny concept, the particle effects also look great!
I like how the days get progressively more abstract. Only complaint is I wish I had more time per day to craft. Otherwise, very solid and fun game!
Gameplay and tutorial were a little slow, but the music is great! Cool concept, too.
I thought the concept of this one was hilarious!
Fairly simple, but I couldn't tell the difference between the two weapons except speed. The art is very cute!
My favorite so far! I love how the music changes, and each instrument refers to both rhythm and instrument. Good mix of Super Crate Box and Rhythm Heaven. Only complaint is I have no idea how much HP enemies have, which can be risky going into a fight
Love the weapon and animations!
64-bit download seems to be broken (32-bit worked for me, though). The light effect is pretty cool! The game ran very very slowly for me, though.
@huga 3.5GHz 8-core, 8GB RAM, AMD Radeon HD 7700. The game ran at a high frame rate, everything just moved very slowly. It may have something to do with delta time calculation, if I had to guess!
@huga also, the 64-bit link just didn't seem to load at all, so I didn't manage to download it.
This is a really clever and well-designed puzzle game, backed with some thoughtful narrative. Well done!
One of my favorites! Game looks polished to perfection, music and setting are very moody. Love it!
The execution is perfect! Everything from the gameplay to graphics to ending to sound effects works really nicely together.
One of my favorite entries yet! Great take on both themes. The game is very polished and the visuals are charming. Great job!
Pretty explosions!
Great entry, it's very difficult at first but very rewarding to master. Good take on the 2-button theme, as well!
Fun, but overlapping/changing buttons gets kind of annoying. Still, I like these kinds of entries!
Very relaxing. I only manage to drive my branches into the ground, though. Still, love it!
I really enjoyed this entry! At first I thought it was only the quiz (which was fun + frustrating enough) but it's really amazing that there are a ton of mini games involved. Great job!
Amazing graphics, very cute take on the theme! Well done!
Graphics were nice! But I didn't fully understand where this game was heading, and it was hard to tell when enemies would attack.
Really cool ways to use just two buttons!
FANTASTIC all around! The game's simplistic but very compelling, not to mention great graphics and audio. Also great way to use both themes.
Neat concept, but it's a little tough on controls. Good job with the fake boxes though!
Really great job simulating the commodore-64 style! The mechanics were fairly inventive, music catchy. It's hard to tell when landing is safe, but otherwise pretty good.
Great mechanics and graphics! Got to a score of 138. the stat swap card is very interesting. Also felt like the tutorial nicely introduced the game. Only problem is that I didn't pay much attention to score, to gold cards weren't very compelling. Great game otherwise!
Mechanics were really good and well designed! Great fun game overall.
Nice spriting/music! Unfortunately, I found it very difficult to get past the first level, but it's a neat way to do a platformer-shooter with 2 buttons!
This is such an incredible entry - I love how the game has no words or instructions, and it's a fantastic take on the theme. Wonderful!
Really fair questions made tougher when put on the spot! Loved the concept, great work. Also neat character designs.
Couldn't beat Muriel, but this is a really great and addicting game! Also, the music was fantastic! Great job.
Awesome game for your first jam! Hilarious, and great way to combine the themes.
Full stars all across! Brilliant mechanics and beautiful execution. I love it!
I love everything about this one's presentation and concept! Well done throughout.
I thought I could handle the faster controls but lost instantly lol
Simple mechanic but explored well in the levels! I got a little frustrated with the timing needed in 1-1, though, but still very fun overall.
Cool transformations and level! At one point, the game didn't register that I had left water as a walrus and let me fly through the air very quickly. Still fun.
One of my favourite entries so far. Very well polished, attacking effects also looked cool!
This is a great spin on classic breakout mechanics, very well done! The visuals and music are also very appealing.
Loved the two different endings. Short and sweet! I like it a lot.
Controls felt very fluid, also loved the play on "shift". It got surprisingly difficult to memorize after around 3 symbols for me!
I realized that the layout is leftover from the previous animal, so the rotation penalty is interesting! Glow effects also looked nice.
DEFINITELY a favourite! The concept and puzzle design is very good, and it's immensely satisfying to complete levels. Plus, the ending and theme incorporation are fantastic. Good job!
Very nice! Controls feel good and the concept is interesting and fun. I love the imp design and shapeshifting animation.
Challenging and VERY nicely polished!
Controls were a little hard to use but the music is catchy!
This game is both hilarious and compelled me to beat all the stages. Perfect!
I really like the song and 3D animations! Bow mechanic is cool to use.
LOVE this! I wasn't sure how shapeshifting applied at first but then I died - and I realized. It feels really cool transitioning. I also love the music!
Love the simplistic art style. Puzzles had me stumped!
Nice job! Simple but you really get in the zone when playing medium or hard mode.
I couldn't find another way to get into the castle, but I love this entry so much! The visuals, sound, humour, and concept are all fantastic. Really wish there was an extended version!
I love the eeriness of the game, I think the audio really helped with that. Very cool!
Touching a monster made me slow down too much and die instantly when I had no charge for my sword. Otherwise cool, lots of monsters and places to go!
Mechanics and music/sound effects were great!
Very nice, the level design is very well thought and the mechanic is fun/funny to use!
I like the look and sound of the game!
The visual style in this game is FANTASTIC! I also love the eerie piano and concept. Trying to get endings besides "No Good".
This is such a novel concept! As soon as I realized how it worked, I was blown away. The visual + audio presentation is also top-notch, fantastic work!
I ran into the stuck glitch twice on the web version. I really wish there was a reset feature, since reloading the web page was a little frustration. Regardless, this is an amazing entry and I can't wait to see how well it does.
Really nice mechanic! I think it's really cool that you accounted for the player's progress in the level to provide tips.
The feel of the blue cell is really nice as well. I think the game would feel nicer if the controls were just a little faster and less floaty. Your mechanic has a ton of puzzle mechanic. Great work!
This is pretty cool! The facts about the planets (race, other info, etc.) actually affected my decisions a lot more than I expected, which was a nice touch. The number of races saved at the end was an interesting detail too. I think if the visuals were a bit more dramatic when saving/abandoning a planet, it'd look really sweet!
Super polished and game-feely, I can see how Super Crate Box and Downwell inspired this!
Very impressed by the look and feel of the whole game being nailed in such a short time.
Love the intro, graphics, and although I didn't pick up on the hat balancing mechanic until after I played and read the description, it's a cool mechanic!
Reminds me of Mario Odyssey. I found catching returning hats to be a little unintuitive and made the game hard to see what having a lot of hats was like. Either way, great take on the theme!
Fantastic entry! The way the camera pans set up the perfect amount of curiosity to carry me to the end.
I love the visual aesthetic, and how some of the Unity effects were used for the tools (really clever!). I think it was an all-around great entry and I'm really impressed it was done solo. Only complaint is the second glue objective took me a LOT of glue, I think it might've been bugged.
Really good work!
Finish time: 2:14!
I think this was one of the coolest takes on the theme, and the execution was really great. Levels didn't get annoying either - can't think of anything I didn't like!
By far my favorite entry so far! It's insane how polished the whole thing was, from the concept to the combat execution to the visual + audio presentation. I really adore the character designs and the music-inspired themes. Very unique and interesting take on beat em ups/fighting games!
Such a perfect way to use the narrative game genre + jam theme to convey this feeling! It was really interesting and creative. Great job!
Such a cozy game! I like small graphical motifs like the brighter areas being interactive. Wasn't sure at first how the theme fit but after reading your description, I found it super charming. This game was very nice, great job!
Cool concept! Short and simple, and really easy to learn without instruction. The palette was a cool restriction. Stomping enemies was really satisfying. Wish the concept was explored more, but great work regardless!
The animation/visuals were top notch but made the game a little hard to understand what was going on (I am a fan of Pico-8 style though!) Loved the audio as well. The whole presentation was a big trip!
This is an insanely polished game, very impressed by the visuals and audio! I found it quite tough but felt engaged to keep retrying anyway.
REALLY polished UI, graphics, and animation on the release! I found the gameplay really fun as well, it was straightforward and you feel like you can get good at it really quickly.
Amazing presentation and storytelling! I found out how the theme worked in after reading about it. The amount of polish that went into this is really amazing for a jam. Great work!
Great entry, the production quality is just great! The menu sets the cute vibe and the animations and details (the speakers, the crying hurt friends) really make the game fun to look at. I love it!
Cool character design B)
I really like the attention to detail in a lot of places - the stat scroll, the slime particles! The combat got a little boring after a minute, but great job!
Music was really catchy and I loved the "have more fun than me" line at the end of the tutorial!
Hilarious concept, but it's really difficult to tell if I'm playing the game right! Too little or unclear visuals. I think with the right presentation it could be a really fun concept!
Fantastic entry, the visual and audio presentation is top notch! I really like the gameplay mechanic and it ties nicely into the theme. Seems like a Bomberman focused on puzzle-solving. I think bombs being finite is a little unnecessary. Regardless, great work!
Great entry! I found the gameplay really compelling, and there were a ton of great visual details that impressed me (like the bars highlighting as blocks pass them, so on).
Very solid entry! It's a funny concept to start, and the main gameplay loop is frantic and fun. I like that the objects have various physics (like the bouncy cushion). Great work!
I REALLY like this - art style is good and suitable, music is very well composed!
The game itself is straightforward but there's a ton of quirks to make it fun (the hanged man) and the grim reaper was really terrifying. Great job over all. Hope this gets more ratings!
Simple but works! The web player was cut off a bit on the side though, so I couldn't see where to deposit presents at first.
Really cool take on the theme, and the only first-person game I've played in this LD so far! I got a little lost, but made me kept retrying. Great job!
The graphics are great! I love how the animals move around in their containers, and how the win condition is hiring an employee haha
Fantastic entry!! The controls feel awesome, the graphics and presentation are all really charming and almost made me want to lose to see what'd happen! The mechanic is simple but extremely effective, and scales nicely with more cat ammo. Love the voices too :)
Super cute designs, presentation, and ideas!
The different traits of each Anibun really stuck out to me and it was interesting learning about each of their strengths and forming strategies!
@lee-reilly wow, thanks so much for the feature!
The audio and humor really stand out in this game! I found the genre hybrid an interesting take, although it did end a little abruptly (thankfully found the exit before hugs ran out!)
Top notch entry! I played to the end, the difficulty progression is wonderful (on top of an already inventive mechanic)
Seems like something that could ship straight to mobile.
Gorgeous game, the lighting effects (and the fire trail) were very cool to see in PICO-8!
The platforming felt great but I think the visual details were just a little too overwhelming and it made it hard to quickly tell what was a wall/ground vs. spikes and other stuff.
This is awesome, I played to the end to see the huge tree! I'm really impressed by the artwork, enemy variety, and character designs. Also a huge fan of how the game music fades between the wave version and the calm version.
I felt that the game was lacking some form of upgrade to the main character's attack - there's a lot possible there like fire rate, bullet size, and so on, that would be super interesting to see and keep me playing!
Great job overall!
This might be my favourite entry so far! The graphics and audio are all lovely, and even the lulls between commands I found myself enjoying the crackling and glow of the camp. The mechanics are very cool and fun to have to juggle. I think the only problem I ran into is that when the moles appeared, I had no sticks to hit them with (and the game ended within seconds). Would be nice to have each part be a checkpoint.
Awesome compo entry! I really want to see that boss but I think I end up dying too much past the first level, but really dig the graphics and sound effects!
This is definitely one of the best LD's I've played!!
The mechanic feels really fluid, creative, and it's presented with a simple colour design that's really intuitive and does the job for the game. I died a number of times in the fights but was really compelled to keep playing til the end. The story is mysterious but interesting and worked with the theme well.
Completely awesome entry, good job!
I love the spells, I found the air spell very fun to use! I noticed that dropping the mana next to a wall causes it to drop out of screen, was that intentional? Either way, the mana mechanic fit the theme excellently, good job!
The game ran very smoothly and the graphics (background details especially) were neat!
I think the only thing the game needs is a little indication that the egg is approaching a speed where it could lose health (maybe it would turn a slightly different colour if moving fast, but not at breaking speed).
Great job!
I found that I could walk far right (past the bullet spawn), and the game actually ended immediately because I might have hit an explosion. Regardless, the presentation is lovely! Also, a good interpretation of the theme.
Great entry! I love that the enemies are masked by the darkness, makes wandering risky and encounters surprising.
I only feel like the units are a little hard to select (I would click one but cause the previously selected unit to walk there). Besides that the mechanic is very cool and well-presented!

Awesome entry! The meta jokes were really great, art style and music all worked really well together. I had a lot of fun in both phases of the battles and ugprading my compiler buffering!
Only thing I didn't quite understand was the branching paths in the main screen - I guess different outcomes happen based on my choices, but I had no idea what each click was getting into (for the special events).
Either way, great job, this is one of my favourite entries!
Great way to keep the game scope tight :)
I got a score of 26000 (I think that's good?) I'm a sucker for rhythm games though so even this lil game was fun for me to play.
@mlkvr @dranjohn the game is supposed to intentionally end once you complete a certain amount of tasks (at that point the multi-tasking should be quite stressful anyway, haha...)
If you never fail any tasks, fire should kick in at 85 Happiness. So you can consider that score a "perfect" game :)
Thank you all so much for your comments, we really appreciate them!
@helen haha this is exactly the reaction we were going for :stuck_out_tongue:
@alpharock6 we also had a third slider for the photo size originally! Turned out to be too hard for even us!
@jon-topielski thanks a ton! At least you eventually "get to 100" hehe
Hands down my favourite entry so far - the mechanic is simple and effective, the levels explore the mechanic well, the visuals and audio complement it perfectly! I really like the intro, use of theme, and Twitter link at the end. Great job!
The gameplay is hypnotic, the movement is really snappy and feels great!
45 seconds :O I love the interpretation of the theme here, I audibly gasped during the zoom-out. The reveal is also a perfect mechanic to instantly retry the game. Great job!
The game progression is really inventive with the generations, and I found the ending cutscenes really funny!
I got stuck after playing as the snake and getting up the "Secret" path on the left. I gotta say, the level design here is really inventive and makes a lot of clever metaphors! Pushing the corporate boss down cracked me up. This is a really inventive game and I hope to see a playthrough eventually to see what I missed!
Incredible game!! The puzzle progression was nicely scaled and each one was a good a-ha moment.
I think I managed to glitch winning the game - on the final puzzle, I walked backwards after exiting the main loop door and it triggered the win screen. I was confused at first but played again to discover the staircase.
In any case, I really loved this entry, great job!
Might be my favorite entry so far! It took some time to fully "get" the mechanic, but once I did it was really fun trying to solve all the levels. The visual and audio presentation are lovely and really do a great job! The only suggestion I'd give is to make the loop start/end positions "snap" better so they loop across the stage in a more predictable/desirable way. Great entry!
